In the headlines....

  • Baseball history in the making: Giants at the Dodgers tonight, Barry Bonds could tie/break Hank Aaron's homerun record! (eek!, let's hope not!)
  • Becks does some ads for Motorola RAZR2 (yummm)
  • Suri and Katie have the same haircut, but somehow it's still cute.
  • And Kingston Stefani-Rossdale is probably the most stylish little boy in Hollywood, helps to have Gwen as your mom.
  • VH1 is stooping to a new low (also read as a new ratings high) by currently filming a new show called Celebrity Rehab, oh man.
  • Granted this is yesterday news, Matthew McConaughey has some serious hops.

And that's about all I got in the news today....
Happy Tuesday!

Targ' is where it's at.

So this weekend I was running errands all over town and one of my stops was Target (probably one of the best stores ever). I just had to get some general stuff and print some pictures (sadly their stupid printing machine wasn't working with memory disc's, boo!). However, I somehow wandered over to their clothing department only to discover that they have some pretty kick ass stuff in there. So in a nutshell, I spent more than I needed to (but it was so worth it) and I got myself some schnazzy Mossimo gear...holler.

Runs in the family...

Oh man, Alli Sims (aka Britney Spears cousin and ex personal assistant) is trying to have a singing career! Ah! Why does everyone think they can sing just because they have dinero?? I really don't get it. Well the girl has started up a site and posted a couple pics (one that is definitely ho-rific and following closely in cousin Britters footsteps), so let's just hope her future is better looking that Brit's.

The Joker is creeeeeeeeepy.

So apparently the people behind The Dark Knight are starting their marketing now (a whole year before the movie is due out!), just to drive fans crazy and get us all revved up for a movie that is sure to be awesome. So thanks to Trent on Pink is the New Blog I can share these crazy sites (with a teaser trailer even!):
http://whysoserious.com/
http://www.whysoserious.com/policereport.htm

and the even creepier phone number that I just called: 800-395-9646
...oooooh it's going to be good.

UPDATE:
So apparently it was just a short running campaign (or going on for a while and I only found out at the end), but the phone number is no longer in service. It was a guy that was "held hostage" by the Joker (is my guess) and asked clown jokes and was really scared, creepy basically. And the site I believe is still up but is now just all of the participants in the Joker's army or whatever. There was a police report for the Joker and a super teaser trailer for the movie, but alas they are no more. Oh well. I bet more of these random marketing devices will pop up as the movie opening nears, we'll just have to wait and see.....

They are so cute!

I have never heard of this site, but my dear friend Jenni has just sent me a wonderous link with
a lovely headline, Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger: Definitely Hotter than Brangelina!

And an update....one of my newest favoritest sites PopSugar has finally added some Josh and Diane action as well....cuuuuuuute.

I couldn't have said it better myself....

So as everyone should know (unless you were in a cave) that Lindsay Lohan got her second DUI last week and the story behind it all was just so weird. So weird, that I neglected to really blog about it, because in my opinion she is just another celubutante that doesn't know what to do with all the power/money/unlimited access that she has. However once I read this article about Rob Schneider I felt the need to mention it. Last week LiLo was suposed to go on Leno, but was arrested and couldn't make it, instead Rob showed up dressed up as Lindsay complete with a SCRAM device. Apparently this didn't make Mama Lohan too happy and she had a hissy fit about Jay and Rob making fun of her daughter when she is "really in trouble." Gag me Dina. All in all I agree with Rob and he says it best:
"When Mrs. Lohan stops partying with her child, then I'll have an ounce of respect for her," Schneider tells PEOPLE.

Nice job Rob.

I heart Fridays.

I love Fridays. They are really a great thing. Today at work we had a BBQ, love it. It's so hot outside too, even better. And now the end of the day is approaching and my weekend of birthdays, bars and random happenings can ensue. Woo. So really not much to report on the Hollywood level. Just some babies being born, Lindsay Lohan news (gag), Whoopi might be on the view, Nicole Richie gets jail time (yawn) and that's about it in a nutshell....

Oh but wait! PopSugar, you know how to make a good day even better, ah! Love it!

Yes you are seeing it right. My man Joshua Jackson has emerged from the depths of wherever he has been hiding and has stepped out with (on again girlfriend?) Diane Kruger! Granted he looks like he needs some sleep, a tan and a different scarf, he is still Pacey Whitter, love it.

Ah well this just made my Friday afternoon, hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Woo weekend!

Green is so sexy.

I just found this site that Rachel McAdams started with a couple friends to promote "green" behavior and I thought I would share, it's called Green is Sexy and has tips for more environmentally friendly behavior among other things. Anyhoo, go be green and enjoy!

Shameless Promotion.

So my newest campaign at work is promoting a video clip for a movie called The Darwin Awards. And yes, your answer is yes, it has to do with the infamous Darwin Awards that come out every year that are "given" to people that had some of the stupidest and most ridiculous deaths. Yes, I know, quite silly, but check out the short clip that goes with it...woo! Thanks!

Matt Daaaaaaamon.

Matt Damon got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today! Yay Matt! According to People.com that makes him number 2,343. Maybe one day I'll have my star on there too, haha. What for? I really have no idea, Radio Star? Best Celeb Interviewer Ever? Notable Celebrity Blogger? Plethora of random Celeb facts that no one else would know or could know? Haha.

Scrubs is Silly.

As of lately I have become a fan of Scrubs. I can basically blame this new television addiction on my boyfriend who has three seasons on his laptop and we have watched pretty much all of it numerous times. And I laugh every time I see an episode (whether or not I've seen it before). So just for kicks I just thought I'd share two of my favorite clips I just found on the oh-so-awesome YouTube:
Turk's audition for the air band:

Dr. Cox's rant on the "My Musical" episode:

Splendid.

Why wasn't it Keanu's number?

So apparently over the weekend Johnny Knoxville, being the prankster that he is, hired a plane to fly over the Polaroid beach house (where he knew Luke Wilson would be) with a banner on the back saying "Luke Wilson's phone number is 310-500-0082." And crazy enough, it was his real number. Haha. Needless to say that number is now out of service and Luke had to change it because he got so many phone calls that day. I just want to know what he's going to do to get Johnny back.... we'll just have to wait and see.

Who knew?

That Paul Rudd could be so cute? Well actually I did, because honestly who didn't love him as Josh in Clueless?? You have to had some serious problems if you weren't in love with him then. And we all know he has come a long way since then, most notably playing Brian Fantana in one of my favorites Anchorman. And more recently starring in Diggers, The Oh in Ohio, 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up and his newest being The Ten. I've only seen one preview for the movie and I believe it's about the ten commandments and different modern day stories that accompany each one. Looks kind of funny and has a pretty good looking cast (Winona Ryder, Rob Corddry, Jessica Alba, Adam Brody, to name a few). So with that said, Paul is apparently on a promo run for the movie and made a stop at TRL yesterday, and I must say, he looks adorable! So I just had to share, thank you PopSugar:

No wonder I still live at home.

Man this is depressing. I love Los Angeles and all, but really? Why is it so expensive!?! Haha, at this rate I may be living at home a lot longer than expected. Maybe some millionaire can just buy me a house for Christmas? Or Kris Kringle? Hello Miracle on 34th Street, haha.

Happy Birthday Bindi!

Okay so I don't really follow the Irwin family or anything, but I saw this uber cute pic on TMZ and just had to share:

Bindi Irwin turns 9 today and in that honor she received her very own walkie talkie, making her an official zoo keeper for the Australian Zoo. And I also read that in honor of her birthday all kids get in free and there will be face painting and other kidly activities, precious.

The hills are alive.....

with the sound of music. Ah yes it is true, I have finally seen the timeless Julie Andrews classic The Sound of Music. My mom and I started watching it a week ago, but our stupid DVD player kept acting up so we had to put it on hiatus. However, last night after I got home from a weekend in Indigo, CA my mom basically said we had to finish it because she got a new copy that had to work and she was leaving on a cruise the next day, so we watched it. And I must say, I am a fan. The songs are so catchy and funny and joyful, it was lovely. And Julie Andrews, how could I not love this woman? She is amazing (as always).
Her character cracked me up the whole movie, Maria was just so funny, yet at the same time she also had me getting mushy whenever she was with the Captain. Their love affair was just dreamy (yes I said dreamy, and no not Patrick Dempsey dreamy, like classic movie love, dreamy). When the movie finally ended (and yes I say finally because who knew they made three hour movies in the 60s) I believe I had a few butterflies of simple happiness from all that singing and romantic longing, it was nice. I was going to give a synopsis of the movie, but I feel as though I am one of the few people who had never heard of Maria and the VonTrap family in the hills of Austria, so I'm just going to skip that part. So another movie crossed off my AFI list, what's next? You'll just have to wait and see.....

For now, Farewell, So long....

Don't you worry, here is today's celeb news....

I know, I know I blogged about politics (weird) and just randomly went on a tearfest of memories. But alas, the Kate you know and love is here with the latest celebrity pictures and news, woo. I was going to blog this earlier but I actually didn't see anything I just had to put up, however, Celebrity Baby Blog has changed that one by putting up a clip of my favorite SVU detective, Elliot Stabler (okay his real name is Chris Meloni, but I just heart Elliot Stabler, I can't help it, haha). So here's part of the spread from the August issue of InStyle Magazine of him and his son at their lakehouse, lovely:

Aw, gotta heart him.

And in other random celeb news, Suri Cruise is so freaking cute. I mean really. She just gets cuter every time her picture is taken, how is that possible?

Aw, she's even got a Maggie Simpson fan to keep her cool at the Galaxy game, presh.

Oh! And just in! DREW CAREY (yes you read right) is taking over for Bob on The Price is Right. Apparently CBS didn't get the memo I sent around that said "Pull the plug on the show, Bob is gone, the show is over, quit while you're ahead", they'll just have to learn the hard way I suppose. But really, nothing against Drew, I just think the show should end. After going to a taping two years in a row I can't really imagine anyone else doing the show but Bob, I mean who else would say "The Price is wrong bitch" for the audience or be "surprised" when he got a standing ovation every time he entered the room? That kind of reaction just can't be duplicated, sorry Drew, but it can't.

Well that's about all I got for Hollywood right now, check back later, I may be compelled to blog again, haha.

Reminiscing indeed.

Okay so I just read Kiki's most recent post of le day and man it took me back. All the clips she has up of cartoons that I watched religiously after school (and even before school) and of course on Saturday mornings definitely took me back to childhood indeed. Takes me back to when my hardest decisions were picking out clothes for my Barbies (because their clothes were definitely more important than mine) or what game to play at recess (because I can tell you, there were tons of options, haha). However, I thought about it a lot, if I could go back to my childhood and do it over I'm not sure I would. Granted it was a carefree and easy time, I much prefer to jump back just a few years in my life.

I have to say that high school and college were probably the best times in my life (and yes I know, my life hasn't been that long at the ripe ole age of 23, but still). High school was amazing pure and simple. Granted it was tough academically, but I made it out and enjoyed every minute I was there. And college, I can't even sum up college in a few phrases. For some reason my mind has been wandering back to college lately and it really is impossible to put everything that happened in four years into one phrase or sentence or heck even one blog post, haha. I know my case is one in a few but I was fortunate to have fabulous roommates and friends throughout my entire collegiate career which I know greatly contributed to my amazing experience. I don't really know where I am going with this post besides the fact that I miss college so much and all the silly little details that made it so amazing....

more simply I miss...
being able to walk to my friends' rooms at any given time of day just to hang out
seeing random people in the dining hall
random dance parties that arose in the middle of chaotic studying
putting up ridiculous away messages (and reading other people's), haha
participating in some form of crazy behavior every Friday and Saturday night
going to the grocery store at midnight
always having my door open for people to come visit
having a radio show
being in gospel choir
seeing random comedians/performance/concerts randomly throughout the school year
Sunday morning brunches (no explanation needed)
bonding over crazy professors
Fellows during finals
my Mitchell encounters
and about a bagillion kagillion more, haha...

Oh man I don't even know why I put that all up because only a few people will really know what all of it means. Basically the gist of it is that lately, as much as I love life right now I simply miss the simple comforts my college life gave me. And I really hate the fact that almost all of my close college friends are on the other side of the country, which basically makes me miss college more.

So. I really didn't mean this post to come out like this, I sound like such a whiner. So I'm not going to end like that. I'm going to end with a music video, a music video I had actually never seen until today but the song was a staple of many a dance party or party party back in the day, so here goes...
Sophie Ellis Bextor "Murder on the Dancefloor"...

YouTube Debate?

So for anyone that knows me knows that I could basically care less about politics. I vote because I can and sometimes pay attention to who I'm voting for. Other times my mom or friends tell me who I should vote for and I usually just do that. Honestly, I don't really care, but I know that I should, and lately I really have been trying to have some sort of interest in politics. I guess I have mainly been doing this because the presidential race is everywhere in the news and pretty much impossible to hide from (even though the vote doesn't happen until next year). So lately, I have read the stories on CNN about candidates and taken some interest in people's policies and ideas, etc, but I'm still not completely impressed.
However, today as I was looking around CNN.com as I usually do, my interest was peaked with their lead story "Electorate can show true colors on YouTube debate." I guess that the seven runners for the Democratic nomination for president are in a debate tonight where the questions were submitted via YouTube from your "Everyday Joe's", which I think is pretty cool. I also think it's pretty funny that it is a YouTube debate since a week or so ago CNN ran a story talking about how YouTube was getting some politicians in trouble because it was catching stuff that shouldn't be shown nationwide. Anyhoo, just wanted to share that fun fact I found today, I doubt I will watch the debate, more likely read the highlights or something tomorrow, but I thought I'd get the word out there.

Peace out.

Wish You Were Here....

Actually I wish I was there....Okay that makes more sense and that title sounded a lot better when I thought it out in my head first. Whatever, anyhoo, moving on. As I was looking through random friends/acquaintances/family member's photo albums online I saw all these amazing pictures of places I would love to go to. And some of their pictures are just amazing in general that I just feel the need to steal them and share them. However, I am in no way claiming them as my own, just showing of the skills of people I know and wishing I could go the places they have been...

A cool picture of the Eiffel Tower my cousin took on his last trip there:

A friend's pic of a palm tree in Belize:

And lastly, a girl I went to High School with is in Figi and this is one of her pictures:

Love it. Love them all. Well I just wanted to share these amazing pictures and I hope to one day share awesome trip ones of my own, haha.

Hollywood Hair.

Dove has done it again. I was really a fan of their Beauty campaign and the "love your body" ads they had running everywhere. Now they have a new commercial out saying, "love your hair." I think it's pretty good and definitely worth sharing, so enjoy:

Hoot Hoot.

I'm wearing a necklace very similar to this one today:

And I must say, I am a fan. I got it at the Clothing Swap I went to last week that was put on by a coworkers wife and I have been trying to find something to wear it with ever since, haha. Today I am wearing a maroon colored t shirt over an aqua/turquoise tank top and a black skirt, accompanied by my stellar gold sandals and the lovely large owl necklace and I think I look pretty darn cool today. Okay well maybe not totally stylish, but at least a little bit cool, maybe even indie hip? Who knows?...because I sure don't, haha.

Anyhoo I just wanted to share because I've gotten a couple different reactions today, mainly positive, and some just shocked I am wearing something so flashy and big, haha. But hey, you gotta change it up once and a while.

Jason Bourne, Mr. GQ.

This month's Mr. GQ goes to Matt Damon, mmmm. No really though, he's on the newest cover of GQ promoting The Bourne Ultimatum and talking about his life, fatherhood, childhood, Ben Afleck, the movie, etc. I don't actually know what's in the article I'm just taking a gander. I really just wanted to share these lovely pictures from the photo shoot that I got courtesy of one of my newest favoritest sites Popsugar. So here they are, enjoy:

I can't wait for August 3rd! Woo Jason Bourne! Woo Matt Damon!

Happy Friday!

My Newest Addiction.

.....is going on Craigslist.com and perusing the housing/apartment section looking for the perfect place to live whenever I decide that I finally have enough money to move out of my parent's house (or win the lotto, whichever happens first really). Granted any place I see probably won't be available when I move out, but it is nice to get an idea of prices, locations, and all that jazz.

I also like to check out the random job offerings and missed connections sections on Craigslist, it's pretty entertaining I must say. So check check check check it out.

My Shows Are Falling Apart!

So I saw rumors of this earlier and was keeping my fingers crossed that it really wasn't true, but I just read officially on CNN.com that Mandy Patinkin has left Criminal Minds!
Honestly people! Stay with your shows, don't abandon the fans, we need you! First Grey's Anatomy lost two keys characters, now Criminal Minds, what's next?! Don't tell me Tyra won't be hosting Top Model or that Grissom is leaving CSI:, I just couldn't handle it. However, I have a feeling that Warrick (Gary Dourdan) from CSI: may have some issues.

Maybe it's a sign I have to cut back on my TV watching, haha, riiight. I'll just take it as people are asking for too much money and networks are stupid and I'll just have to hope that everything will turn out okay come season premieres in the Fall, fingers crossed.

Emmmmmmmy.

So for as much as I am on top of celeb news and what not, I'll admit I had no idea that the Emmy nominations were coming out today, haha. I just happened to catch it on the news this morning as I was getting ready for work, and I must say, I wasn't too surprised. As much as I love Hollywood and all that jazz, the only two awards shows that really get me excited are the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards, everything else is just so so exciting, haha.

However, as I was perusing all the categories and nominations this morning when I got to work I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they have an Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics category. This is probably my favorite category so far only because two songs from the Scrubs musical episode, a song from Family Guy, a song from MADTV, and probably my favorite one of them all, "Dick in a Box", the skit from SNL when Justin Timberlake hosted. I love it.
So in case you are so out of the loop here is one of the Scrubs' songs "Guy Love":

And if you are even more out of the loop, here's "Dick in a Box"...hilarious:

Obviously there are lots of other categories and nominees but I'm not really rooting for anyone in paticular just yet, maybe just Mariska Hargitay from SVU and Heroes for best drama. That's about all I got so far. Oh how I love Hollywood.

ID please?

So a somewhat embarrassing thing happened yesterday. Well it really wasn't that embarrassing but enough to make me want to blog about it briefly. So for a "meeting" with my department at work yesterday our boss takes us to the Bar and Grill down the street (sweet I know). I walked over there with a few coworkers and the boss and as soon as we got there we all got to order drinks.
The bartender took some orders from people on the other end while I was still debating my drink order. And by the time I finally did give the bartender my order she looks at me and is like "Can I see your ID please?". What!? Not a single other person got asked for their ID, only me, haha. And I'm 23! Okay, granted that's not that much older than 21, and I basically look like I'm 18 and have been mistaken for 16, but still, in front of my coworkers who are older (and by older they're like 25ish to 29ish), mildly embarrassing.
However I recovered from this embarrassment as the bartender told me what everyone tells me "You're going to love looking so young in 10 years when you still get carded", woo hoo, I can't wait. Haha. Okay I'm really not bitter about being carded, I just want to point out that I will probably be carded for the next 20 or so years of my life. Sweet.

Fashion gone wrong.

About a month ago I posted a pic of one of my fave reality stars, Lauren Conrad wearing a hideous overall shorts getup thing. Ew. I just think it's ugly. But I guess Teen People does not because they put it up as a hot summer item. Ew again. And even more Ew, I just found out that it costs $231! Are you serious?!? Why people, why??

In case you forgot what they look like, here's the pic from the actual site, and it's linked if you're so compelled:

Roses are Red, Violets are Cute.

There are some seriously adorable kids in Hollywood these days and I just wanted to take the time to share a pic of one of my favorites, Violet Affleck, with her mom (Denison alumni, holler) Jen Garner:

precious!

He's back!

Ah Craig, where have you been hiding for so long??? I got an email this morning from Craig David's fan club in the UK to announce that he has been working on another new album and a video of his newest single (acoustic style) featuring Kano is up on Bebo.com, so of course I had to check it out, and it's not too bad. So here it is for all that Friday splendor:

Watch More Videos

Ah it makes me so happy to see Craig back in action, and with a new look too. Ooooooh.

Jack Traven is that you?

Between People.com and CNN.com I have been having a field day lately, haha. Both sites are just giving me the best stuff around and I LOVE it. Big example, on People.com yet another pic of Keanu on set of Night Watchmen:

All I can think of is Jack Traven a la Speed and I love it. Keanu, clean shaven and in uniform, woot. Apparently Forrest Whittaker and Hugh Laurie are in this movie as well, so that's a nice bonus. And it has something to do with LAPD and betrayal and scandal and probably action, who knows, I don't right now, haha. I just know that they are filming somewhere in Los Angeles right now and I should probably find them and go say hi, it'd only be appropriate, haha.

Becks.

So much hype is going on for the Beckhams coming to LA, I don't really know what to say about it. It should make for some interesting celeb gossip that's for sure. Oh and David plays soccer too? I almost forgot. Hopefully he'll give American soccer a boost, we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

For now, a David Beckham commercial, I'm amused:

ABC as easy as 123.

For anyone who knows me knows that I like to make up ridiculous words. I don't know what it is, but making funny words just makes conversations and emails that much more entertaining. At one point I had even compiled such words onto a document I had titled "Katelinisms" (granted I'm not quite sure where that is located anymore). Off the top of my head I can recall a few:
Wonderous - Meaning, wondrous, amazing, spectacular, fantastic, all of the above
Foculars- A funny slip up where I combined binoculars and bifocals, haha
Splendiferous - Splendid, Ridiculous
Woot- (I can't really claim this as my own but I use it all the time anyways) as a way of saying woo! yay!
P.P.S. - (yet another one I obviously cannot take credit for) but I never use P.S., so this works for me instead

And I know there are some other ones, but I am drawing a blank right now. And the reason you ask to rekindle my relationship with my random words? Merriam-Webster. I just read on CNN.com (yes I am addicted) about the newest words inducted into the Merriam-Webster dictionary and one of my favorites was on the list, ginormous. I love this word, I have used this word for years and years and my love is finally being acknowledged, woot. And for anyone that can't figure out what it means, it's enormous and gigantic combined into one magnificent word, ah lovely.

Some other words that I enjoy that are being added this year, Sudoku, crunk, Bollywood, speed dating and DVR, ah thank you pop culture and thank you Merriam, and Webster.

CNN you are making my day....

Like I mentioned last week, CNN.com has introduced a new section, Funny News, and man is it funny alright. My past two posts have been exerts from that section. And I have another one that I just have to put in. But a little back story first...

A couple months ago I was summoned for jury duty. And let's just say, it was quite the experience. For anyone that talked to me during that time knew that it was basically like a circus. I had to go four days and was never once called up to be interviewed (whew.) However, the whole time I waited in the audience I contemplated what I might say that could possibly help me get out of serving on a jury, haha. Honestly, me on a jury? Granted it would be like Law and Order just a lot less glamorous and no Elliot Stabler to admire, I still didn't want to do it. I had friends and coworkers giving me tips and things I should say if I actually were called up, but luckily I never had to. However, as CNN.com reports, this guy was not as fortunate and an all around idiot. Haha.

Let's go fly a kite.......or a lawn chair.

When I read this story on CNN.com all I could think of was one of my favorite quotes:
"People say movies should be more like life, I think life should be more like the movies." - Myrna Loy

And the movie you ask, Danny Deckchair, a random indie movie that I doubt many people saw, but I did, and it was pretty entertaining. But the fact that it could really happen. I am in awe.

Friday, July 6, 2007

Don't forget to flush.

I love that Cnn.com now has a section called "Funny News" on their homepage, it just makes life a little more funny. And for today's funny news, China has opened a ginormous bathroom that has over 1,000 toilets, all with funny statues or figurines as well as televisions and soothing music. They are trying to get into Guiness with that one, good luck guys.

Seriously?

So as part of my daily perusal (is that a word) of People.com I just came across this article that Wilmer Valderrama (from That 70s Show and some MTV show) is selling his five bedroom, five bathroom house in Tarzana for 2.25 million dollars. Okay, that by itself isn't so bad, lots of big houses like that go for a couple million these days, big whoop. However, it was the next part that just had me laughing, his broker said that he is selling his house because he wants somewhere larger to live....okay take that in.....and then laugh with me....hahaha. Wilmer, The Fez, do you have a illegitate children you have to house? A small country you want to feed in your kitchen? Several women on the side that need their own wings of the house? I mean honestly, you're 27, single, no kids, why the crap do you need a bigger house?!
At least That 70's Show will be giving you royalties for years to come because I'm pretty sure that Yo Mama or whatever the heck your MTV show is called is just not that good. And I also think that Fez is a "green" advocate, let's see him back up a bigger house on a "green" scale. Tool.

Oh Hollywood.

Thursday, July 5, 2007

People.com I love you....

And this is why.....

I don't really need to say anything else do I?

Okay but I will. It's a fabulous pic of Keanu on the set of his new movie The Night Watchman. And he's smiling and no facial hair, he looks superb. Granted I think he should just rock the buzz cut again, a la Jack Traven in Speed, but that's just me. Okay time to get to some real work, woot.

Tuesday, July 3, 2007

Holla.

I just got some glorious news....work is done at 1 today! It's like having class canceled! It's a great feeling to not know you're having an early day, then have it sprung upon you like Christmas, love it. So I don't have too much time to blog since I have to get some work done in the next two hours so I can go out and enjoy this glorious weather, love it. So just wanted to say, have a fabulous 4th everyone! BBQ, swim, drink, hang out, and enjoy the glorious summer holiday wherever you are.

Happy Birthday USA! Holla. haha.

And 1 and 2 and 3 and 4.....

So for anyone who doesn't know, I have given in to the masses (and the scale in my parents bathroom) and have decided to join a gym. It's kind of a crazy thought, me at a gym, haha. However, I have gone a couple times and enjoyed it. And every time I try on something of mine that used to fit perfectly and doesn't anymore, I feel more inclined to go walk really fast uphill on that treadmill or ride a bike or elliptical myself or do some crunches. And even better I joined 24 hour Fitness with my boyfriend and my best friend is already a member there and a couple of my other friends work out there as well, so it's basically going to be a party, er maybe a club, Club 24 perhaps (I stole that). Anyhoo, I'm just hoping it works out for the best and I get my lazy ass in shape, woot.

And let's hope I don't feel like this most days:

haha.
