Turkey with a side of wine and birthday cake.

Oh hello everyone! I've missed you so much. I don't remember the last time I left so little on my blog and for so long, it was sort of weird. But I figured myself and the blog both deserved a small holiday break. Anyhoozits it was a fabulous holiday weekend and don't mind if I share...

Wednesday: After getting out of work early Matt and I hung out for most of the afternoon before heading out to Shogun with Michaela's family which was a lovely time.

the whole crazy group.

After dinner Matt and I made our way to this bar in Old Town to celebrate my sister's birthday. It was so much fun. Then again I drank enough wine for two people so of course it was fun, but really it was a good time hanging out with some of her friends some of my friends, drinking wine, eating the giant chocolate chip cookie cake I got her.

Jess, Kourt and Andrew.

Megan, me, Matt and JR having a good time.

seriously that cake was divine. best birthday present
giver award goes to me, haha!

After the birthday party Matt, Megan, JR and I all headed to Twin Palms for their last night to do some more drinking and some sort of dancing and all that jazz. Basically it was a ridiculous night that was lots of fun, for me at least.

Thursday: Happy Thanksgiving!! Spent my morning being a bum, watching TV, trying to not be hungover before heading over to visit some cousins with the family. Afterwards we all headed over to Matt's mom's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Why yes you read that right, after last year's success we decided to mesh the families again! And it was a lot of fun. Matt was an excellent cook and his family was excellent company and it was just all sorts of a good time.

After dinner we cleaned up and hung out for a bit before heading over to my aunt and uncle's house for dessert with the rest of the family. Seriously, I think dessert may be my favorite part of Thanksgiving, I'm a sucker for pumpkin pie and I love being with my whole family. Once dinner was over me, Matt, my aunt and sister all headed to a dive bar near my apartment for some drinks and some laughs and basically just more good times.

Friday: A whole day of lazy. No really I was such a lazy bum it was ridiculous. I cleaned up the apartment, watched TV, played lots of Style Savvy, did some wedding planning while watching a Say Yes to the Dress marathon on TLC and just enjoyed a day to myself. Eventually it was time to go out and Matt and I went to another bar in Old Town for another birthday celebration for my sister. It was another fun time, got to hang with my cousin and Matt and just enjoy ourselves. After Matt and I got home we pretty much ended the night with a How I Met Your Mother marathon because that show is legen....wait for it.....dary!

Saturday: Went and saw a matinee showing of Precious with my sister and cousin which was definitely eye opening. Seriously that movie was really good, I don't ever need to see it again but I'm glad I saw it once. After the movie I went to Michaela's parent's house for the afternoon to hang out which was fun, then eventually made our way to Matt's dad's house for a second Thanksgiving. Twas another good night overall that ended with another How I Met Your Mother mini marathon, haha.

Sunday: Decorated the apartment for Christmas while watching Love Actually which was superb before heading for an afternoon walk. And for dinner was another birthday celebration for my sister and my aunt at Cameron's. Basically birthdays are a big deal in my family, haha.

So yes that was my weekend, relaxing yet busy but all sorts of fun.

And how was your holiday weekend?

happy monday!

Hollywood slaptacular.

Why hello Tuesday, how are you today? Full of Hollywood goodness? Awesome.
  • Starting off this week's cuteness we have little Ava Jackman riding high on daddy Hugh's shoulders. Seriously she is too cute and I love how he's always with his kids.

    adorableness.

  • Next up, I believe making their debut on my blog is Marissa Jaret Winokur and her super adorable son Zev. Seriously this family photo just makes me happy because they're so happy, love it.

    the cuteness!

  • Moving on from the bebes to some random Hollywoodness...
Although the Galaxy lost in some MLS division game or something but I think it's super cute that David Beckham has his kids' names on his shoes....Paula Deen got hit with a flying ham...Ryan Phillipe went for a shirtless stroll and no one objected....TMZ has new picture outtakes from The Hangover which are hilarious...Jason Segel surprised concert goers of the Swell Season by opening up for this with a hilarious number, basically I heart him even more than I already did...I would love to own Natalie Portman's outfit that she wore to the premiere or Brothers because it is just amazing!

    work it girl!

  • And in today's Twilight news....
In case you were living in a hole you saw that New Moon came out on Friday and broke all sorts of opening weekend records, huzzah. Speaking of the actual movie, this may be one of the most hilarious Twilight pranks ever. Love it. (although I probably would have been sad if it had happened to me, haha).

Oh and if you can't get enough of Rob Pattinson check out the trailer for Remember Me that was released last week. I'm quite intrigued and according to LTT it's pretty good.

Also in Twilightness, here's my interview with Taylor Lautner and the Cullen family in case you haven't gone to the ATT Share Facebook page yet. (my interviews with Kristen and Rob are here). And hopefully one day my interviews with the Volturi and the wolf pack will go live and stay live because those are just as awesome.

    me and Taylor Lautner, woo.

    me with the Cullens.

  • And moving on to some music news...
Josh Kelley is going country! Well it's a good thing I love his music no matter what and I have a feeling a country album from him will be awesome, so woo Josh.

    The AMAs.
Adam Lambert had some crotch action, fell down and kissed a guy.
Lady Gaga looked ridiculous as always but I loved it and her performance was pretty amazing.
    I learned who Gloriana is.
I recognized Colbie Caillat and thought she looked fabulous.
Whitney Houston pretty much rocked it I thought and damn she looked good.
Taylor Swift is having the best year ever.
Michael Jackson's siblings (except Janet) officially creep me out.
Alicia Keys and Jay Z make me like "Empire State of Mind" the more I hear them perform it like.
Pics from the night here and the winners here.

  • And in TV news...
Top Model. We have a winner. And I knew it would be Nicole. As much as I loved Laura and her country ways I knew she wouldn't win it. And can someone please explain to me why Eddie Murphy's daughter was in the runway show and why he was there? Yeah weird. But speaking of the final runway, I was a fan. Loved all the elements, definitely made it entertaining.

Project Runway. Again I knew Irina would win but I didn't want her too. I was such a fan of Carol Hannah's all season, I would buy all of her dresses.

How I Met Your Mother. First of all, thank you Modern Gal for directing me towards Barney's twitter because it's hilarious. Second, love last night's Slapsgiving 2. Seriously I laugh so much when I watch this show and I was pretty much in tears over Barney when Robin and Ted were debating the slap. However it was amazing that Marshall ended it all with a grand slap, I almost wish there was another song, haha. But alas still amazing, still heart this show.

  • And lastly in today's WTF news we have two ridiculous stories. One. an eleven year old girl in Bulgaria is now a wife and a mother...say what? Yeah ridiculous and crazy and just wow. And two. imagine wanting to find your biological father and turns out it was Charles Manson, well that happened to a local LA guy, yikes.

Anything I missed let me know!

happy tuesday!

Cake samples all around!

Well another weekend come and gone but thank goodness this is a short week, woo! Anyhoozits it was another fairly relaxing weekend of awesome if I do say so myself.

Friday: Came home to tend to my oh so sick fiance. Seriously it was bad and I'm just glad I didn't get whatever Matt had. But yeah nothing too excited, caught up on the DVR and were basically bums, it was nice.

Saturday: Did a whole lotta nothing til about three which was just as awesome as the night before. I think we all deserve to do nothing every once and a while. However after three we were uber productive and actually did wedding stuff, wahoo! No really, we went to see a potential venue all decked out for a wedding that day (and I may or may not be in love!! so fingers crossed people) then afterwards we went to check out a potential caterer which was awesome too, I love people that are willing to help. After a successful day of weddingness my friend AJ came up to hang out and we had some delicious Italian food then came back to have some wine and watch G.I. Joe, twas a good time all around.

Sunday: Ran a whole bunch of errands before going back to the catering place with Matt for an afternoon of taste testing. Seriously can we taste test every weekend?! There was so much good food it was amazing! And we even got to leave with a box of cake samples...

ooooh yummy!

Seriously so dang tasty and so exciting that we're finally getting somewhere with our wedding planning, woo! After the tasting we hung out for a bit before heading to my parent's house for my brother and sister's 14th and 22nd birthday party, woo. I love birthdays and cake and ice cream and family time and all around a good time.

So basically it was a lovely weekend all around full of weddingess and friends and family and good times all around.

And how was your weekend?

happy monday!

New Moon Friday: the movie, the winner and the interviews!!!

Oh yes, it's New Moon Friday, wee!

And there are several awesome things on today's New Moon agenda as you can tell, so here we go!

One. I can finally talk about the movie! But I won't because I know not everyone went out at midnight to go see a showing. However I will say a few spoiler-free things.

  • I most definitely liked the movie, like a lot.
  • I forgot how little the Cullens and Volturi are actually in it.
  • There should have been more motorcycle riding scenes.
  • A whole lot more kissing between Bella and Edward and I do not object.
  • All the scenes with the humans are quite hilarious.
  • The wolf pack is hot. As if that wasn't obvious already.

Two. The Soundtrack giveaway winner!! Thanks to everyone that entered, I loved your emo band names, so funny. And the winner is.....

Mrs. Soup with her emo band name, Pigs Are Made of Food, haha.
Congrats! and email me your info and I'll send the soundtrack your way!

and Three. In case you missed my tweets and Facebook update yesterday, some of my New Moon interviews are officially up at the AT&T Share Page, just go to Events and Promotions and they are there, woo!! Also check out the main AT&T Share Fan Page for more Twilight goodness. And in case you're not on Facebook check out my Rob and Kristin interviews here and squeeeee along with me (just don't mind how crazy my hair was that day, I swear it has a mind of its own sometimes...okay all of the time):

Me with Kristen Stewart!

Annnnnnnd
Me with Rob Pattinson!

So ta da! The interviews, well two of them at least! Exciting right? Ridiculous? Yes. Can I believe it really happened? Not totally, but I've rewatched these videos more times than I can count, haha. And yes Jamie in Chicago is most definitely this Jamie, I mean I had to let someone in on the secret and who better than one of the people to introduce me to Twilight!

Anyhoozits, how are you spending New Moon Friday? :)

happy weekend!

My blog is like Beyonce.

On Monday I had this revelation. My blog is actually quite similar to Beyonce. How do you ask? Let me share.
  • Beyonce goes by both Beyonce and Sasha Fierce. My blog goes by both gorgeous footsteps in the sand... and pretty sandy feet, obviously they both have identity issues.

  • Beyonce was once part of a group, Destiny's Child, until she decided to make it big with a solo career. My blogging was once part a group effort until I left (and everyone else left too) our group blog to start this here blog up and have been loving the solo life ever since.

  • Clearly my blog likes the beach, every layout/header I've ever head is beach/sand related (obviously). Beyonce frequently goes to St. Tropez and other exotic beaches on a quite regular basis.

Beyonce has sandy feet too, haha.

  • My blog and Beyonce are both fans of Taylor Swift. Clearly.

  • And last but not least, both Beyonce and my blog are FIERCE divas. Yeah I said it. My blog can be a diva sometimes and I'm guessing Beyonce can too. But that's what makes us awesome.

And with that, my blog is like Beyonce. Ta da!

A night with Buick and Colbie Caillat.

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of attending the Buick event to unveil the new 2011 Buick Regal thanks to Tara. And I gotta say, I'm so glad I went!

I brought Matt, my friends Katrina and Kimmy with me and we all had a great time. When we first got there we made our way to the food (catered by Wolfgang Puck, yum!) line which was amazing. Seriously the mac and cheese, divine! And the mini things of meat were delicious.

Tara, Katrina, Kimmy and me, woo.

It was quite fun to hang out with Matt and the girls and just chat for a bit but before I knew it the grand unveiling was happening.

And ta da! A car!

I gotta say the main reason I really went was because after they unveiled the car there was a free Colbie Caillat concert. Now I gotta admit again I only knew three songs of hers but I liked them all and her concert did not disappoint at all! And it was so fun because me, Tara and Kimmy were front row the entire time.

Colbie looking great.

and she plays guitar, woo woo.

the hot guitar player, haha.

the end of the concert, such a great show.

It was great because Colbie played a full set, a ton of songs from her new CD (which we all got as we left and I am loving) and "Bubbly" of course on top of a fabulous cover of "Don't Cha" that I absolutely LOVE! All in all it was a great night with a great show and good times all around.

Oh and check out Tara's recap of the night, go here. Tis loverly.

Basically it was a great night and I need more mid-week adventures, love it all.

happy wednesday!

All smiles in Hollywood.

Well I know I just had a Hollywood post on Thursday but now we're back to our regularly scheduled programming and Tuesdays equal Hollywood around these parts. So sit back, grab a drink and enjoy the fabulousness of Hollywood today.
  • For this week's first cute bebe we have one of my favooorites, little Sasha Shriver. Seriously his smile in this picture is just so adorable and the fact that doting dad Liev is smiling too is even more heart warming.

    presh!

  • Another one of my favorite little guys in Hollywood is Zuma Rossdale. Seriously he is just a cutie pie and love his big grin.

    cuuuute.

  • Moving on from the bebes on onto some movie premieres.
The Private Lives of Pippa Lee premiered in New York over the weekend and the ladies wore some daring outfits while my man Keanu looks like he hasn't had a hair cut in months, months I say! Keanu this is a call to action from one of your biggest fans, please cut your hair, it just looks gross. But thank you for shaving, very much appreciated.

all I see in this picture is Keanu's hair, haha.

Also premiering over the weekend was Law Abiding Citizen in Scotland and Gerard Butler showed up rocking a kilt. And he can definitely pull it off, woo woo.

    oh handsome.

  • In this week's Twilight news there is lots to share!
One. Lots of hawt outtakes from the trinity's EW photo shoot. Check em out.
Two. Don't forget to enter my New Moon soundtrack giveaway!
Three. UC and Moon from Letters to Twilight did a hilarious dramatic reading from the EW interview.
Four. The trinity looked quite fabulous in Munich.
Five. But even more fabulous at the LA premiere or New Moon last night!!

okay I rarely say this, but Kristen looked
    GORGEOUS.

and as always Rob looked quite dashing.

Not only were Kristen and Rob looking amazing but the whole cast looked pretty dang fabulous. And man I wish I was there.

  • In movie/music news...
So you know how I saw This Is It over the weekend? Yeah well I can't stop listening to "Human Nature" now. Absolutely love that song. Heart Michael's music. forever and eva.

  • And in TV news...
Top Model. Well I already recapped last week's episode but Four Four's recaps are always better so check it out. Oh and apparently Miss J is no longer going to be a judge but more so a Mr. Jay and help the models along. And taking his place at the judging table? Kimora Lee! Good gracious that's going to be a lot of diva at one panel, haha.

How I Met Your Mother. Lorenzo von Matterhorn (love that it was the most googled term yesterday), way too funny. Seriously as much as I liked Barney and Robin together, I love single Barney again, his Playbook was amazing. My Penis is a Genie, Mrs. Stinsfire, the Scuba Diver, love it all.

Glee. Love this show! Love that Sue actually has a soft side and for a legitimate reason. Love Artie's solo, seriously love it. Love Puck's drugged out cupcakes and how much he likes Quinn, it's cute but sad. And um LOVE "Defying Gravity", obviously.

Criminal Minds. Gavin Rossdale was a creepy guest star on last week's episode but he still managed to look good. And who knew he was British? Because I didn't, haha.

Grey's Anatomy. Izzy is bugging the crap out of me. And looks like she'll be leaving again in a bit anyways, so that's okay. But I do still heart Sloane and Callie and their work wife/work husband relationship. But ah! I may have gotten all teary when the big Chief reveal came forward that he's basically an alcoholic.

Desperate Housewives. Oh yes another review is up! Check it out.

  • Lastly in today's WTF story we have a major wuss. A 21 year old kid from Arizona thought it would be funny to break some windows using an airgun. But when he got arrested it was all that funny any more because his mug shot pictures are just hilarious.

Anything I missed? Let me know!

happy tuesday!

Quite a loverly weekend.

Monday you are here too soon, I mean really can't you take your time every once and a while? Oh well, at least the weekend was still fabulous.

Friday: After work came home and had a nice relaxing night with Matt. He made dinner, we drank wine, watched the CSI: crossover episodes and other DVRed shows. Basically it was my kind of night, relaxing with the fiance and drinking wine and just having a good time.

Saturday: Woke up early and actually had a productive day of errand running, lots of errand running. In the afternoon I went with my mom and aunt to see Michael Jackson's This Is It. Now if you recall, when Michael died this summer I was pretty sad. I grew up to his music and it was because of my parents. So watching it with my mom was good except when she got teary, I got teary. I mean really, how is he dead??? He looked so good in the movie and was on his game and dancing and singing and everything. It was definitely an experience to see everything that was going into that concert because that concert would have been amazing. And it was an experience to see Michael on screen and know that he won't be performing any more, but I'm quite glad I saw it.

After the movie Matt and I relaxed a bit before heading to my friend Katrina's birthday party. It was quite a fun party, just enjoying hanging out by the fire, eating delicious food (seriously I love Filipino food!), listening to good music and just enjoying time with my friends. Pretty much the night ended up with a rousing game of Catch Phrase and s'more making and it was awesome. I heart my friends.

Sunday: Slept in til 11 (yes please can I do that every day?!) then spent the day moseying around the apartment and catching up on some TV before heading out to do a six mile walk with some fam. After that spent the rest of my night trying not to go to bed at 6 and just relaxing and hanging out.

Pretty much a low keyish loverly weekend, my favorite.

and how was your weekend?

A New Moon giveaway!

I swear my blog isn't becoming the new Twilight Addicts Anonymous location...well because I am so not Anonymous...ba dum ching! But really, I know there's been a lot of Twilight around here and well it's my blog so I'm okay with that.

And in the spirit of New Moon coming out in a week I figured why not give away the soundtrack, since I was so graciously given one at the press junket and I already owned a copy.

And I gotta say, even if you're not a Twilight fan, this soundtrack is pretty good. It definitely makes me feel all indie/emo/in-the-know when I listen to it which is fun and I figure Rob is probably listening to similar stuff which is even cooler, haha.

And just for funsies here's the tracklist:

"Meet Me on the Equinox" - Death Cab For Cutie
"Friends" - Band of Skulls
"Hearing Damage" - Thom Yorke
"Possibility" - Lykke Li
"A White Demon Love Song" - The Killers
"Satelite Heart" - Anya Maria
"I Belong to You [New Moon remix" - Muse *my favorite track
"Roslyn" - Bon Iver and St. Vincent

"Monsters" - Hurricane Bells
"The Violet Hour" - Sea Wolf
"Shooting the Moon" - Ok Go
"Slow Life" - Grizzly Bear

A belated Hollywood day.

So yeah it's Thursday, not Tuesday but you gotta admit, my own personal Hollywood news was a little bit cooler than anything I could pull from the headlines, haha. Anyhoo Hollywood still went on and I've got some goodness to share.
  • In this week's adorable bebeness we have a not so bebe any more, little Matilda Ledger. Seriously her pink boots are so darn cute and she just looks so much like Heath, adorable.

    too cute!

  • Also in this week's cuteness we have my favorite Hollywood kids, Violet and Seraphina Affleck. Seriously this picture just melted my heart a little bit with all the cuteness.

    ah so cute!

  • And because there was just too much cuteness I had to share Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and her oh so adorable twin boys, especially because I envision that my future children could look something like them and just as cute if not cuter.

    so darn precious!

  • Moving on from the kidlets to some other Hollywood fabulousness. I heart Taylor Swift. Her opening monologue from SNL last weekend was priceless.

She was also a big time winner at the CMA's last night and look rather divine as well.

    gorg.

  • For today's Twilight news there is some good stuff.
One. The holy trinity graces the cover of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly and man do they look good.

Two. Last week Rob and Kristen did a zexy Harper's Bazaar spread and I gotta say I love it, love their chemistry, love the looks, love it. Oh and LTT breaks it all down too.

Three. Also in Robsten news, they were caught holding hands!! Alert the press! Okay I do admit it's pretty adorable whether or not they are dating. And apparently they aren't the only Twilight duo holding hands.

Four. Some super fan mashed up two of my favorite things, Twilight and Fringe, into a lovely dramatic video.

  • And in movie news...
Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin will be hosting next year's Academy Awards. Should be a funny combination, I just hope they don't sing, or sing too much. I loved Hugh's opening number this year to have someone try and compete so soon after, haha.

Remember 3 Men and a Baby and 3 Men and a Little Lady? Well apparently the little lady is all grown up and getting married because 3 Men and a Bride is coming to a theater near you.

Also in movie news, Matt and I saw The Men Who Stare at Goats on Tuesday night and it was pretty funny. Not amazing, not laugh out loud nonstop hilarity or anything but it definitely had some funny parts and I had a good time.

  • And in TV news...
Greek. Finally watched the season finale and man do I love this show. It always makes me laugh, the dance off was the best part I think. Well that and Dale and Rusty's battle bots and the fact that the girls burned down a sorority house. Can't wait to see what next season!

Top Model. Yay Laura!! Boo for Jennifer being out. I can't believe they narrowed it down to the top two already but oh well, and I can't believe Laura made it that far but oh do I love her. Loved the photo shoot too, woo Hawaiin goddess.

Scrubs. It's coming back. Are you ready for a new batch of doctors? Still don't know how I feel about this, but it's worth a shot.

The Mentalist. This is becoming one of my favorite shows lately, so freaking funny. Simon Baker is so suave and cute and yeah just his character is hilarious as well as a smarty pants. And then Van Pelt and Rigsby and their hidden love affair is pretty dang adorable too.

Desperate Housewives. Check out my review over at BSC Reviews, woo.

  • And lastly in today's WTF news we have a hilarious story out of Cornell University. Apparently two coworkers (who are both married to other people) were exchanging some R-rated emails back and forth when somehow the entire campus got CCed on one of them. Haha, can you imagine getting that in your inbox?

And that my friends is today's Hollywood scoop, anything I missed? Let me know!

happy thursday!

Pinch me: My Dazzing weekend revealed.

As I mentioned on Friday my weekend was very top secret and all sorts of amazing. So without further adieu the wait is over and I present to you one of the greatest weekends of my life! (my birthday weekend of this year is still the number one slot, obviously) *and note, it's a bit lengthy*

Friday: After work I headed to the west side for a very special event. I went to a press screening of The Twilight Saga: NEW MOON. Yes the New Moon. I got there, signed in, got a wrist band then got some free popcorn and a drink (I need to go to press events more often!), it was awesome. It was pretty cool to be press and I actually recognized some of the people there from local TV news channels and what not and it was just a really interesting feel overall. But the most important part, the movie!! Unfortunately I can't technically give a review of it yet or how I felt about it but um let's be honest it's not that hard to figure out if you know me, haha. And why and how did I see New Moon you ask? Well that's what Saturday is for.

Saturday: I slept like crap on Friday, kept waking up, my stomach was a whole bunch of nerves and I was just too excited for my day. Eventually it was time to go and I was on my way to Beverly Hills. I arrived at the hotel, valeted my car and saw a slew of paparazzi hanging out on the street as I made my way inside. After asking where I was supposed to go I made my way to the elevator and to the right floor and ultimately to the hospitality room. Turns out I got there too early (not my fault though!) and they were just going to fit me in the schedule however it worked out which was fine for me. And what schedule you ask? What was I doing in Beverly Hills?

Only interviewing THE ENTIRE CAST OF The TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON!!!!!!! Did you get that? Do I need to repeat it again? INTERVIEWING THE ENTIRE CAST OF NEW MOON!!! Haha, yes it did need repeating because it still doesn't totally feel like it happened. Now even if I wasn't a New Moon fan I'd still be dying because interviewing celebs is always something I've wanted to do, but the fact that it was for New Moon didn't hurt.

By an amazing set of events I was sent to interview the cast at the official press junket on behalf of AT&T. Yeah I just about passed out when I first found out on Thursday and had to reassure myself that it was really happening on Saturday. So now I present to you the day!

After they figured out where to send me I made my way over to wait to interview the director, Chris Weitz. When I finally got in to see him it was pretty surreal and just how I had envisioned it all. And the interview went great, Chris was incredibly nice, had some great answers and was just a really fun way to start off my day. After Chris I was sent down to Kristen's room to wait. As I was waiting the door to Rob's room (which was right across the hall) opened and out walked Rob Pattinson and a small entourage. Yeah I may have melted into my chair. After my Rob encounter I was sent down to another floor to interview the Volturi group (fine by me!). The group consisted of Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, Jamie Bower and Cameron Bright and they were great. Really sincere, pretty talkative, great handshakes. Yeah it was pretty fun to interview them I gotta say. After them was my favorite interview of the day, the Wolfpack (Chaske Spencer, Kiowa Gordon,Tyson Houseman and Alex Meraz). Seriously these guys were just so fun to talk to, they had a lot to say, obviously loved hanging out with each other, love the new found attention and knew how to make a great interview. And they even asked me questions before the interview officially started which was great, seriously best interview of the day.

After I finished with the wolf pack we were on a break for lunch. So I went upstairs to check it out a bit and who is in my elevator? Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli (oh hellooo gentlemen). I wandered around a bit before finally deciding to head downstairs and outside for a bit. So I'm hanging outside on my phone and who do I see outside? Chris Weitz with his wife and kid moseying around outside as well. As I looked over his way he waved at me and said hi and I waved back and felt pretty cool in the process (yes I am a huge nerd if you haven't figured this out by now, haha). Eventually I headed back inside and hopped in the elevator to grab some lunch and who's in the elevator with me now? Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser! Seriously the elevators were magical, it was like I was Grey's (which is so appropriate since Elizabeth was on it, haha). After lunch it was time for another elevator ride with Nikki and Kellan as I made my way down to interview the Cullen family.

The interview with the Cullen's (which consisted of Peter, Elizabeth, Kellan, Nikki, and Ashley Greene) was a little hard since they really aren't in New Moon all that much, but it was still incredibly fun to talk to them. And seriously they are all so good looking it's crazy. Afterwards I was sent back upstairs to finish off the day with the holy trinity, haha. Seriously I loved my schedule it was perfect.

First up with Kristen Stewart.

I have to admit I was really nervous to interview her since she is notorious for being awkward and giving short answers. But she was the complete opposite it was amazing! She was so talkative and assertive and totally listened attentively when I asked questions. And on top of it she looked super cute! Her hair was done back, she was in a cute blazer and yeah she just looked good, I was so impressed and so happy and I definitely look at her in a whole new light now.

After Kristen I went across the hall to wait for Rob Pattinson.

I'm pretty sure I looked like I was practicing lamaz (is that how you even spell it? Eh whatever) as I waited in the hallway for Rob. You'd think after interviewing so many other people before him I'd be fine, but I was still just so excited and a bit nervous and man, exciting. So finally they call me in, I shake his hand (like I did with everyone else that day, woo), le swoon. Other than that he looked just lovely in a gray coat and typical Rob attire. He did look a bit sleepy and he had a cup of coffee in hand so I guess that also attributed to his soft spoken responses as well. But he was incredibly sweet answering my questions and elaborating when I asked him and yeah just awesome. I didn't get to ask anything too scandalous or crazy but it was fine enough for me. And his British accent really is dreamy, I may have had some inner swoons going on the whole time, just maybe, haha.

After Rob it was down the hall to my final interview of the day, Taylor Lautner.

Seriously how is this boy only seventeen? He was so professional and charming and just darn adorable, I loved interviewing him. He wore a dress shirt and a skinny black tie and just looked good. He made me laugh in the interview and he smiled a lot and his teeth are so white it's amazing, haha. No but in all honesty I was so glad to end my amazing day with him because talking to him was just easy, so major props to Taylor.

After I was done talking with Taylor I grabbed my tapes (in my new New Moon tote bag) and was on my way.

I will definitely be sharing the videos of the interviews when they go live on AT&T's page and I will definitely be posting at least one of the videos here. I still can't believe it happened and that I really got to meet everyone and interview and see New Moon, it doesn't feel real, but it does feel quite awesome.

So was my secret weekend up to par? :)

Still top secret.

Just stepping in to say I have a post all ready to go about my top secret weekend but I have to wait for official word to put it up. Trust me I'm ready to scream it from every online outlet I have and I've told as many people as are willing to listen, haha.

So hopefully it'll go up today or just soon because it's driving me crazy not to share!

And I would post something else to make up for nothing but nothing is as awesome as what I can share!

So tell me how your weekend was?

Amazingness.

So yesterday you may have seen some of my tweets about something amazing that happened to me. Well it was basically something amazing that is going to happen. And unfortunately I can't quite tell you what that is yet. But it's happening tonight and tomorrow and then I will scream from the mountain tops what's going on and why I was so secretive. Some people already know so if you do, please don't say anything yet! But ahhhhh I can't wait to tell you guys because it is truly unbelievable.

Moving on.....

Yeah I don't know what else to talk about because I haven't really been able to focus on much since yesterday, haha. So I'll just leave you with this video because it's so poppy and so Friday and yeah just enjoy:

happy weekend!

A little trip to Dawson's Creek.

Last night I felt like I was in high school again, and for all of the right reasons. In case you were living in a hole and didn't see any of my tweets or my post yesterday, last night I went to an event at the Paley Center, Dawson's Creek: A Look Back. The minute I saw the email about it I knew I had to go and I am so glad I did! Dawson's Creek was (and probably still is) my favorite show ever, I loved it, I still love it! I have so many memories with that show and every time I see one of the stars on another show I get a little nostalgic Making the night even cooler, I finally got to meet Ali!

Well the night started by airing the Dawson's Creek pilot. I forgot how amazing that first episode was and how scandalous! Miss Jacobs, Mrs. Leery's affair, all of it. It was great to watch it with so many fans and laugh at it's corniness and the hair styles and the outfits and just have a great time. Once the episode was done the panel came out and I just about squealed out loud (umm I'm pretty sure I did).

The panel consisted of the creator Kevin Williamson, producer Paul Stupin, Dawson Leery himself James Van Der Beek, Andie McPhee also known as Meredith Monroe and the oh so awesome Audrey Liddel more commonly known as Busy Phillips.

Paul, Busy, Meredith and Kevin.

Meredith, Kevin, James and the moderator.

Sadly there was no Joshua Jackson surprise appearance (but really I can't complain I met him in April at a similar event) however Monica Keenan who played Abby was in the audience occasionally contributing to the conversation (which was a bit odd but still fun).

Basically the moderator asked the panel random questions about the show, they shared some of their favorite memories and favorite episodes. Busy was hilarious and too funny talking about it all since she was the last cast member added to the show. And Meredith was pretty entertaining too talking about how she was Captain Fun (in a superhero suit and everything) on set, too hilarious. One of the best things that was said was by Busy actually and was something Michelle Williams had told her about Jen's character. Basically Jen was the catalyst that made all the kid of Capeside start to change and deal with growing up and she was the catalyst again when she died to bring everyone together again and to deal with their grief. I really liked that analogy and I'd never thought of it like that before. We also got to hear some snippets about Steven Spielberg and how he felt about the show. And everyone did have a little bit to say about Katie Holmes but nothing too crazy.

Eventually it was open to the audience to ask questions and no one was raising their hand so of course I did. And man I wish I had asked something Dawson's specific but alas my nerves got the best of me and I asked more so about the actors post-Dawson's work, moreso on Criminal Minds since two of them have already been on it. It was pretty cool I gotta say. I was a bit nervous but they all answered me and laughed and we're basically all pals now.

Sadly the night came to an end and the panel was over. However the best part was also at the end because everyone stayed around to take pictures and sign stuff for a lot of the fans and I was one of those lucky ones! Seriously, oh happy day.

Why hello Dawson Leery...er James Van Der Beek.

Meredith signing away, so gorgeous.

my favorite of the night, Busy Phillips,
heart her like wo!

Basically it was an amazing night and I'm so glad Ali was there to share it with me, seriously she's awesome. And yeah now I feel like I need to have a DC marathon since I do happen to own all six seasons on DVD, haha.

The want list.

Usually I'd say a wish list or something along those lines, but I'm feeling a bit greedy lately and these are some of the things I currently want. If you can contribute in any way you know my email.
  • An amazing wedding location to magically appear and be uber affordable and amazing and perfect to be open on the date we want and to book it, soon.

  • Joshua Jackson to make a surprise appearance at tonight's Dawson's Creek event. I'm not really holding my breath but I want him to be there. Two encounters in one year would be freaking amazing!

  • To eat as much macaroni and cheese as I want and lose weight. Yes I want that and one day it'll happen (and no vomiting will not be included in that plan, haha).

  • Rob Pattinson to release a CD. I mean "Never Think" is amazing and I swoon every time. So yes Rob I want you to release a CD, thanks.

  • To function on less sleep so I can actually get up and work out and stay up late reading.

  • Entertainment Weekly to see my blog and love me and ask me to interview celebrities and write movie reviews.

  • Matt's back to be better.

  • A house. With lots of space. So I can decorate. And have parties. And be awesome.

  • A fabulous dark purple dress.

  • To sing and dance like a pro so I can guest star on Glee.

  • To go to another amazing Wii Fit Plus party with some of my favorite bloggers.

And what's on your 'want list' these days?

happy wednesday!

Trick-or-Treat Hollywood.

Oh where to start this week? So much Halloween goodness in the world of Hollywood.
  • One of my favorite Hollywood family's, the Stefani/Rossdale were out and about and looking fabulous and super cute on Halloween.

    so darn cute.

  • And a new baby face to the blog we have Natalie Morales (from the Today Show) and her baby boy Luke dressed up as Charlie Brown. Seriously his big blue eyes are just heart warming and so darn cute.

    all sorts of preciousness.

  • Also looking super adorable is the Denisof family and their adorable kangaroo outfits. Seriously precious!

    ohmygosh I love this costume!

  • Also speaking of babies, Sarah Chalke (of Scrubs fame) is quite pregnant and super cute looking; Colin Farrel's girlfriend just had his second child, Mel Gibson's girlfriend just had Mel's eighth kid, Mary Stuart Masterson (from two of my favorite movies Bad Girls and Benny and Joon) just had her first bebe and my favorite of favorite baseball players Mike Piazza and his wife just welcomed their second daughter. Good gracious that's a lot of babies!

  • Moving on from the babies and on to some more Halloweenness....

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart definitely
    got into the Halloween spirit.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo rockin the
    Frankenstein and his bride duo.

  • Also in some Halloween trickery, when Taylor Swift was a guest on Ellen's show last week Ellen played a great prank on her and got it on camera. I would totally react like Taylor too, way too funny. Check it out here.

  • Moving on to my oh so favorite Twilight news of the day.
Almost a year to the day when I first read the book, I have officially started reading Twilight again. I hope to read it and New Moon before New Moon hits theaters in 17 days!!

Also in Twilight related news, Dakota Fanning is officially more adorable than I first thought she was. She's in high school and on cheerleading squad and just got voted as a Homecoming princess, so fun.

And in my favorite Twilight star news, Rob just did another hawt photo shoot with Vanity Fair and wowza is about all I can get out without drooling, haha.

    oh hello hottie.

yeah he's got the sultry look down.

  • And in TV news...
Greek. Okay so I'm a week behind but I totally squealed like a giddy school girl at the end of last week's episode when Casey and Cappie kissed! Squeeeee. So don't tell me what happened last night, I haven't watched it yet, don't want to know if there is trouble in their new coupledom. Just let me enjoy them together for now, woo.

Top Model. Okay one. Hawaii really is their abroad destination? Um Hawaii is cool and all but I mean in past cycles they've gone to Australia and Japan? Actually abroad! But eh. Anyhoo the photo shoot was interesting, the mixed races and what not but why did Erin keep saying "Free Tibet", it was ridiculous. And yeah I bet Erin will make it to the top three, they freaking love her. And I heart Laura. The end.

Grey's Anatomy. Another stellar episode. Lexie's diaper was probably my favorite part of the whole episode. She is hard core! And Derek was so cute with his champagne then passing out at the end of the night, I can't even imagine that kind of surgery.

How I Met Your Mother. I love their analogies to talking to the kids, the neighbors were "bagpiping" and we were "eating a sandwich", haha. And I do love Robin and Barney together, but man their fights are insanity, haha. And is it not weird at all for Ted to see them together? I feel like there has to be some lingering feelings towards that. And someone please tell me the last slap will be coming soon, this season please? K thanks.

Desperate Housewives. My review is up at BSC Review, woo.

Anything I missed? Let me know!

happy tuesday!

A pirate's life for me.

Why hello there November, I can't believe you're here already! Well at least October was pretty awesome.

Friday: After work, Matt and I had a nice night in with some pizza, some TV and some Wii Fit Plus. It was quite nice to relax a bit and just hang out especially knowing that Saturday would be a busy day. Basically it was a loverly evening.

Saturday: Slept in a bit, ran some errands, had the day basically to myself hanging out. And before I knew it, it was time to get all decked out in our pirate attire for the pirate murder mystery dinner party. Once we were dressed we stopped by my parent's house to see some of neighborhood kids (who are seriously the cutest!) and hung out for a bit. Eventually we were on our way to the pirate party! The murder mystery was fun for the most part, we sort of skipped some parts and didn't do it all right but it was still fun to drink wine out of pirate glasses and listen to 'yarrrrrrs' all night and just have fun.

Thumbless Jack and Dirty Wiggins, yarr.

of course pirates be lovin the kitchen.

aye aye Sharktooth Brandy
and Gurglin' Uma Scarr
.

Us pirates be sticking together.

yarrr what a fine pirate couple we be!

and we be quite vicious sometimes too, arrrgh!

All in all it was a fabulously pirate night and we had a pretty good time. Arrrrrrgh!

Sunday: Slept in a bit and was pretty much a lazy bum all day doing random chores until I did my weekly six mile walk with the family then came home and watched Criminal Minds reruns and had some soup. Basically the makings of a very relaxing evening to end a very crazy week.

And how was your Halloween? Did you get all dressed up and craaaazy?!

happy monday!
