The Case of the missing eyebrow.

A couple months ago I happened to look in the mirror when I noticed something looked a little off. Something was missing....

Part of my freaking eyebrow.

I kid you not folks, it's just gone away. My left eyebrow has decided it doesn't want to be full any more, rather just a partial brow of sorts and I am totally baffled.

I have no idea what happened or who attacked me with a razor in my sleep but it's weird. Maybe I'm just a medical mystery or I should hire Patrick Jane to figure out what happened (yes I realize no one died just my eye brow, but still having Simon Baker investigate would not be a bad idea).

Anyhoo, want to see the evidence? Here it is:

I mean right!? What the hell!?

Then again no one has really noticed it until I point it out to them so it's not that bad. But now you all know and I know and yeah, I just want my eyebrow back, haha.

So if you know any eyebrow remedies send them my way please.

So have you lost anything lately, haha?

It's a circus in Hollywood.

Why hello there Hollywood, I felt so out of the loop last week and this week but now I'm all caught up (at least I hope I am) and here to share with you, so here we go:
  • Starting out this week with some super cuteness we have baby Lou. *and her mom Heidi Klum, apparently that needed to be added, whoops* I mean really, my future daughter can maybe look like this and ah, she's just so squishy and cute and heartface:

    aw squishy squishy cuteness!
  • Also bringing in some major cuteness is Sabrin...er Melissa Joan Hart and her oh so adorable boys. Seriously they are so smiley and just dang precious.

    aw little mama's boys, heart.
  • Moving on from the bebes and onto some Hollywood news...Chris Tucker owes the IRS a ridiculous amount of money, I mean how does he even have that much?! He's done like 4 movies! But man, better pay up Chris....want to know how jail is for Lindsay Lohan, just follow this twitter, I'd say it's pretty accurate, haha...the Zefron is apparently quite the party boy and enjoyed a nice night out to but it mildly...the Old Spice guy is on fire right now, he's landed two movie roles and basically just kicking ass everywhere, love it...in weird ass news, the Westboro Church of crazies is going to picket a Justin Bieber concert. Apparently they do not have Bieber Fever...apparently Wyclef is expected to announce his candidacy for president of Haiti soon and man would that be crazy, sort of awesome, but just crazy, hopefully he can do some more good...and lastly Jen Garner, one of my faves, rocking a tiara on the set of Arthur and seriously she just always looks so care free and I love it:

can I borrow that tiara please?

  • And in some favoriteness....
Oh there's lots today. First of all happy belated birthday to my girl Sandy Bullock (oh yes I can call her Sandy, we're practically BFFs)!

Secondly. PACEY-CON. Um. I am so insanely jealous I didn't go to this. Also, my friend who works for Funny or Die is in the video and got to work with Josh on this and yeah, I'm uber jealous. Watch it and have your crush on Joshua Jackson grow a little bit more.

Thirdly. I asked for more Sam sightings and I'm finally getting them. First a new movie trailer (ooooh drama, suspense, hawtness) and then, AND THEN thanks to Julie for sending this gloriously ridiculous and hilarious and shirtless picture, haha:

    love it. A LOT. haha.

  • In today's Twilightness...
We have more Rob on the set of Water for Elephants looking dapper yet again in a suit of sorts and just suave. Also unrelated, my cousin got to visit the set over the weekend and meet Rosie the elephant and saw Rob filming scenes and I died a horrible jealous death, haha.

    why helloooo there.

  • In movie news...
Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Now I'm still not sure how I feel about this movie or what it will be about (and clearly the first one is still the best hands down) but these pictures do look pretty awesome and Penelope Cruz makes quite the pirate.

Mulan. Also Disney related, apparently a live action version of the Disney movie has been given the green light. All I have to say is that Shang has some high standards to live up to because he was one good looking cartoon.

  • In TV news...
Desperate Housewives. Looks like Vanessa Williams won't be the only new neighbor on the block next season, Brian Austen Green has reportedly joined the cast as a contractor (competition for Mike perhaps? actually no, Mike is too good looking for competition). Marc Cherry has also said that he'd like to add a guest spot for his good friend and Hollywood IT girl, Betty White. Um YES PLEASE! Can you imagine Betty and Mrs. McClusky? Amazingness.

Big Bang Theory. I haven't talked about this show in a while, weird right? Well the Ausiello Files put up a great interview with the cast that definitely made me laugh and super excited for next season, check it out.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news apparently Darth Vader has left the Death Star to rob banks? Who knew?

So anything I missed? Let me know because I feel like there's gotta be something.

ONE MONTH.

There I said it.

It's out there in the open.

Oh wait, you already knew I was getting married a month from today? I've already talked about it like 827839573 times? Well darn, not really a surprise then huh?

BUT IN ONE MONTH I WILL BE A MISSUS! (again with the caps, still blaming Nicole, good blame of course).

Basically I have a month left to do all sorts of little things wedding related and I hope you don't get sick of it and if I ever say "There's no TIME!" "I can't do it!" "WE'RE ELOPING" just tell me to breathe and that I'm marrying Matt so it will all be okay.

But yeah that's all I have to say today. ONE MONTH PEOPLE.

one month and I won't be a bride-to-be,
but A BRIDE!
WEEEEEEEEEEE!

and I swear, Hollywood's coming back tomorrow, there was just too much to get caught up on!

happy wednesday!

Down by the riiiiver.

So I know I didn't really announce it, but if you saw my tweets last week (and the lack of posting) you could tell that I was on vacation last week. And man what a crazy week it was.

Tuesday: After being in San Francisco for a work event I got to explore the wharf a bit and have a great afternoon with my cousin Brittany. Although it was cold, I expected it and it was sort of fabulous and we had a great dinner and happy hour drinks and just loverly all around. After dinner I relaxed at my hotel a bit before heading over to Nicole and Jamie's place for drinks and dessert. And basically I heart those girls like wo. And it was a great night of drinking and catching up and laughing and just being ridiculous.

Wednesday: Matt's dad picked me up and we were our way to Guerneville.

the golden gate bridge is just so gorgeous.

And what's in Guerneville you ask? Matt's family owns a house there (where I went back in September for his family reunion) and his brother rented it for the week and oh what a week it was.

Pretty much Wednesday night through Sunday looked a lot like this: wine drinking, Cranium, cards, cute babies, wine tasting, wine drinking, lots of laughing, pie making, pie eating, river swimming, river drinking, naps, reading, more laughing, more wine drinking, more playing with cute babies, fun times all around.

It was an amazing vacation and just the break I needed before the madness of the month o wedding sets in. Anyhoo pictures are where it's really at right? So here we go:

Matt and some of the boys hanging out.

Brad enjoying a day on the river.

Matt playing with the cutest lil bebe.

little Gracie working on her balancing skills.

we're basically one big family and I LOVE it.

the barrels at the winery, amazing.

Matt and his brothers outside the winery.

me and Matt enjoying our winetastic day.

Matt iced Matt and himself, ridiculous.

oh how I love wineries.

Basically it was a freaking fabulous week of getting to know my future in-laws, having fun with Matt, relaxing in the river, working on my tan, playing with babies and just having a great time all around. Pretty much everyone needs a week at the river.

So yes a perfect getaway before the madness and thank you all for your comments on my last post it seriously means a lot.

So how was your week? What'd I miss? Let me know because I doubt I'll make it through my reader and I want to be all caught up!

happy tuesday!

Wedding chit chat.

More wedding talk? I know it's getting ridiculous. And I know I said I wouldn't do it, but it's all over the brain (well when I'm not thinking about the next episode of Dexter and IS DOAKES GOING TO FIND OUT?!?! and HOLY CRAP LILA and AH DEXTER YOU HAVE SUCH A CUTE SMIRK) and apparently I'm obsessed with caps (I blame Nicole).

But people we are almost to the one month mark, ONE FREAKING MONTH. I know everyone said time would fly by and seriously they weren't kidding, it feels like freaking yesterday that Matt was down on one knee, I mean really, REALLY.

However as much as I'm not freaking out (you wouldn't know it from all the caps) I have so much going on it's sort of insane for any bride-to-be. I mean want to know what my next month looks like? Of course you do.
  • Trip to Guerneville with Matt's family.
  • Summer Friday to get our license, have a fitting, order our cake.
  • BlogHer in NYC (woo woo! are you going?).
  • Annual family reunion/picnic in Salinas.

  • Probably another Summer Friday for another fitting because apparently fittings don't happen on weekends.
and BOOM! Two weeks later, I'm getting hitched. Serious crazy pants ridiculous here people. Minus the fact that we're totally slacking on booking our honeymoon stuff, I feel okay about the wedding prep. I mean there is lots of little crafts to be done (hello bridesmaids!) and just people to call and things to check off lists (that might be one of my favorite things, checking things off lists, oh so liberating!) and just yes. It's coming up people and I couldn't be happier.

Also! Oh you thought I was done there didn't you? (I did too actually). As you all know I'm going on my honeymoon for two weeks and I don't want to abandon the blog, so any suggestions? I think I'm going to ask for guest bloggers but I want to give them a theme or some direction or something to fill those nine days (yes I plan on blogging briefly the Monday after I'm married, what can I say? I'm obsessed). So any ideas for themes or questions to ask potential guesters?

You all rock my socks off and thanks for tolerating the wedding jibber jabber. I appreciate it and heartfaces to you all.

happy wednesday!

Wave hello Hollywood.

Why hello there Hollywood Tuesday, how are you today? Fine? Yes I thought so.
  • Starting out this week's cuteness we have little Levi McConaughey rocking a new do and walking his dog (that's almost as big as he is!) and is just all sorts of adorable:

aw he's so wittle and cute.

  • Also bringing in some MAJOR CUTENESS is my favorite trio of ladies, Jennifer Garner with little Violet and Seraphina! Seriously they are just all sorts of freaking precious!

Jen is super mom and the
    girls are super cute!

  • In other bebe news Liam McDermott, Tori Spelling's three year old son, has a twitter account, and it's sort of ridiculous and sort of cute...also in bebe news, Vince Vaughn and his wife are expecting a little one and I really hope he says "earmuffs" when it's born, haha...in non-baby news, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem got hitched in secret (seriously how does anyone in Hollywood do it?), congrats to them...also in secret, Jewel doing karaoke, seriously just watch the video it's awesome...the first images of Ryan Reynolds as the green lantern came out and I'm slightly intrigued...and apparently Jaden Smith is channeling Erykah Badu these days.

  • In some favorites news...
WE HAVE A SAM SIGHTING! Okay I sound creepy, but really. I had a Sam crush and then he went away and all I had was Avatar and Terminator and in neither of those movies does he stay fully human, haha.

what a mighty big bag you have Sam.

And not only is there a Sam sighting, but a Josh sighting as well. And he's in a suit! Oooh la la.

oh you are just so dapper and suave
    and awww swoonface.

  • And in today's Twilight news....
First off we have Taylor looking so suave riding a motorcycle on the set of his newest movie, Abduction. I mean seriously, how is he only 18?? because sheesh.

    why hello there!

Also on set of his latest film, Water for Elephants, is Rob looking so dapper in a tux (seriously he should wear one more often).

this might be your best look Rob,
    minus the cig.

  • In movie news...
One for the Money. So I am still bummed about Katherine Heigl playing Stephanie Plum but now we know who will be playing Lula! Sherri Sheppard. Hmmm. I'm not sure how I feel about this either. I guess I pictured Lula as being fuller and having more sass, hopefully Sherri can pull it off ( I'm assuming she's Lula otherwise she's just another prostitute, I'm not quite sure).

And OHMYGOODNESS WE HAVE A RANGER. Apparently some of the cast is on Imdb and RANGER is cast. And it's this man, not too shabby. But um he definitely needs to bulk up a bit a la Taylor Lautner to hit Ranger status (also I'm a huge nerd right now).

WAIT UP A SECOND WE HAVE A MORELLI TOO!?! Seriously how is Sherri Sheppard bigger news than the casting of the main guys!? I mean really Hollywood, come on now. Anyhoo apparently Jason O'Mara, Life on Mars alum, will be Morelli and I do not endorse this. I mean he doesn't even look Italian! Ah Hollywood how you hurt me.

  • In TV news...
The Hills. So I didn't watch the finale but I read Oh Hay, It's KK's review and that was all I needed. Well that and I watched the actual ending because it was just so dramatic, and yeah I thought it was fitting. And I saw some pics on PopSugar and yeah, pretty typical attendees minus the blondies I will not name but Lauren, as always looked loverly, heart her (heart her so much I actually just got her book from the library, for shame, I know, ridiculous).

    heart her.

Dexter. As you know, I've watched too many episodes in a short amount of time and my goodness it's good. But I'm glad I waited to hop on the bandwagon so I didn't have to wait (I'm bad at waiting).

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have the trailer for the SyFy original movie Sharktopus, because um it's a movie about a shark/octopus hybrid and seriously who thinks up this shiz? And seriously Julia Roberts brother is in it and um, just wow.

So anything I missed? Let me know!

happy tuesday!

Super hot, super fun weekend.

So remember two weeks ago when I was complaining about how gross and overcast it was? Yeah well let's slap the me from the past because my goodness it's freaking hot here. I mean really it's sort of ridiculous how hot it's been I can't believe I even did anything this weekend. But alas I did and it was quite loverly.

Friday: After work Matt and I had a little date night to a sushi place near our apartment that we'd never been too before and it was quite delicious. And not only delicious it was a fun place too. After dinner we hung out for a bit before my cousin Bryan came to pick us up and we went to CPK (ridiculous right? haha). We had a fun little time hanging at the bar while Bryan had dinner and I had dessert and we had drinks and it was just fun. After CPK we made our way to a bar to play some pool (well I watched and had bad drinks) with some of Bryan's friends and just had a good night all together, twas loverly.

Saturday: Slept in a bit before Matt and I crazily decided to head to Universal Studios to try out tram ride with the new King Kong attraction. Luckily we have front of the line passes so we didn't have to wait at all which was nice, but man was it scorching! The ride was a lot of fun and 360 3D is sort of nuts and yeah, good times all around. After Universal Studios we had some lunch and then came home and Matt napped and I was determined to do something wedding related so I went and bought some random things and gifts for my bridesmaids and I just finally felt productive. And as a little treat to myself I bought this and I AM IN LOVE:

so cute, right? ah. love.

The rest of the day was spent blaring our AC until my sister invited us to Dave and Buster's with my little brothers. Playing games and drinks and having fun? Yes please! It was just fun times all around.

Sunday: Slept in a bit and then spent most of my day watching the second season of Dexter. It was sort of ridiculous how much Dexter I watched, but it's just SO GOOD. Luckily my cousin and my aunt invited me out for a drink and some lunch otherwise I would have watched Dexter all day, haha. After lunch I skyped with my friend Jen which is always fun and then watched some Dexter (surprise!) before heading out to dinner with my family for my mom's birthday. It was fun times with the family and some quality time after but let's be honest, the rest of my night was spent blogging and more Dexter watching (I need to get it in while I can people!).

Anyhoo so that was my weekend, not too crazy but not too relaxing either and just what I needed before this week happens and gets all sorts of nuts!

And how was your weekend? Surviving the heat or the storms or the humidity or whatever you have?

happy monday!

Things that are awesome.

Because it's Friday (and that in itself is awesome) I thought I'd share some awesome things going on right now:
  • Friday is going on. Okay I know that's repetitive but oh how I cherish Fridays. Even better is a date night Friday. What are we doing for date night? No clue. But spontaneous date nights are fun too.

  • I saw Eclipse for a second time with my sister last night and I must say seeing a movie at 8 as opposed to midnight is quite different, but ummyes of course I still loved it, bad wigs and all.

  • Matt and I finally booked one of the hotels for our honeymoon (I know, I know we're slackers and holy crap we still have to book four more hotels, hold me, hire a travel agent, ah! bring wine) and I am in love. Someone described it as being similar to the house in Under the Tuscan Sun and I might have squealed.

    swoonfest right? right!
I mean it screams rustic Italy and
I cannot wait to be there.

  • I'm on book #25 for the year and my goal was 40. I'm pretty sure I can do it at this pace and that's just awesome, woo!

  • And lastly for today's awesomeness, my friendito and my co-maid of honor BFF Jen has started blogging! And it's pretty funny and cute and she's shared yummy recipes and um she takes pictures like this with me:

So you know her blog has to be entertaining right? Right. Do it. Read it. Win.

So any more things that are awesome? Share away. I like awesome things.

happy weekend!

A Life List Update.

So after reading Doni and Amy's posts about their life lists updates I realized it had been a while since I had taken a look at the one I started last year. And to my surprise I've actually accomplished several of my goals!

So here we go:

1. Meet all of my top five list* (Keanu Reeves, Joshua Jackson, Craig David, Ryan Gosling and Rob Pattinson).
*originally Christian Bale was up there but since I changed my top five, I changed the goal and alas I'm almost there, Keanu come on now!

5. Wear bright colored shoes on my wedding day.
Technically my wedding shoes aren't bright but they're sparkly and that's good enough for me.

14. Like red wine.
And oh my goodness do I like it now, and it makes me feel so refined.

16. Throw the first pitch at a Dodger's game. Or just go on the field.
Oh I went on the field alright and it brought a tear to my eye.

Not too bad right? And eating pasta in Italy is coming up soon! I definitely have so many more things to add to this list but I'd rather wait until it's nice and pretty and has it's own page a la Nicole and Doni's blogs when I move on over to Wordpress.

Anyhoo, have you checked anything off your life list lately? Have you made a life list?

Also unrelated to the life list, it's my mom's birthday today and she's finally got into the habit of reading my blog (wee! hi mom!) so I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

my mom riding an ATV, even I haven't
ridden an ATV! I'd say that makes her awesome.
then again she was awesome to begin with.

happy thursday!

August 28th, 1963.

So I know I've been talking a lot of wedding talk lately, but really people? Can you blame me? I mean there is 40 something days left and apparently I've turned into an insomniac and a crafter and a travel agent in the last three weeks so it's easy to say I've got wedding on the brain.

However this post is not really about our wedding, it's about our wedding date, August 28th.

For some reason I never thought to look up if August 28th had any significance or someone's birthday before we even picked (not that it would have mattered, I just usually find those things interesting) And of course I know that Al Pacino, Jason Lee and Renee Zellweger all share my birthday and Matt has the same birthday as Sigmund Freud so you would think I'd have some interest in our wedding date right?

Well as no surprise there are some famous birthdays on August 28th (Shania Twain, Leann Rimes and Jason Priestly) but who cares about birthdays when your wedding date shares a date with something so famous in history and important in your life?

On August 28th, 1963 Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech.

We are getting married on the anniversary of the "I Have a Dream" speech and you have no idea how proud and amazing and just overwhelmed I am at that fact. For one, in the second grade I was adopted into the "I Have a Dream" Foundation and I attribute so many wonderful things in my life to them that they deserve their own post one day. And secondly, unless you're blind you know that Matt and I are an interracial couple (heck I'm interracial on my own, haha) and if it wasn't for people like Martin Luther King Jr. I might not have been able to marry Matt, let alone been born.

I know it's really not a whole lot to share dates, I mean there are only 365 days in a year so of course events are going to overlap, but to have our wedding date on the same day as something so important to our nation's history and my life is simply awesome.

oh hey Martin, thanks for sharing the dream.

happy wednesday!

Hollywood's got cuties, a mullet and a serial killer.

It's Tuesday so you know what that means...Tacos! Well that for some people but for me it's for Hollywood Day! So without further adieu, here we go:
  • Bringing some uber cuteness to Hollywood is little Louis Bardo! Seriously he is so dang precious and I love Sandy with him and aw, heartface.

    oh so squishy and precious.

  • Also bringing some serious cuteness is little Hank Baskett IV, seriously the whole Baskett fam is just adorable.

    gah how adorable.

  • In other bebe news, Celine Dion announced that she is expecting twin boys, congrats to the fam!...in not so great news, new mom Christina Milian and her husband The Dream have apparently split and on some shady terms ie The Dream was caught canoodling with her assistant, shady shady...however while they're splitting four celebrity couples tied the knot on Saturday, congrats to John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, Carrie Underwood and her man, Martin Lawrence and his lady love and Lala Vasquez and Carmelo Anthony, whew...in some ridiculous news, Mel Gibson has lost it, that's about all I can say to that...and I want to be a waiter wherever Ryan Seacrest goes to dinner since he left a 10k tip over the weekend, schwing...and one of my new faves, Michael C. Hall has been working it out and looking good since his cancer went into remission, awesome...and if you ever wanted to know what Paul Rudd looks like with long hair, check him out here and Gerard Butler looked like with a mullet, look no further:

    hey good lookin.

  • In some favoriteness, Leo has been doing the promo rounds for Inception and I do not mind one bit. And um, Leo has aged amazingly I must say, Bar is one lucky biatch. And so is Ellen Page because hello, she's with Leo and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, hawtness.

    oh so suave, lav it.

  • And in today's Twilight news...
PopSugar has an interview with the Twilight series screenplay writer Melissa Rosenberg (who's also an associate producer on Dexter I discovered, weird) discussing her thoughts about Breaking Dawn and I'm worried, hold me.

And the lovely Dakota Fanning is on the cover of this month's Marie Claire and I sort of love it and heart her and how down-to-earthish she seems and she's just so cute and heart:

    so chic and sweet.

  • In some movie news...
Ed Norton has been dropped from the upcoming Avengers movie. I don't really get why and it's sort of weird but I wonder who will play the Hulk now, maybe Eric Bana again?

  • And TV news....
CSI:NY. Stella is saying goodbye! Noooo. I like her. Like a lot. Okay I like Danny the best but still, it'll be sad to see her go.

The Hills. I know, I know I haven't watched it since Lauren left but it's ending tonight. I doubt I'll watch it because the blonde bimbo gives me eye spasms and Whitney's gone but in case you wanted to know, six years later it's finally coming to an end.

Dexter. Like I said yesterday, I started watching Dexter last week and so far I've made it through season one and I'm a fan. I don't want to watch it too fast since I don't have Showtime and can't watch the next season but thank you Netflix for instant watch, woo. But um, Michael C. Hall is is pretty swoony in a weird way and Doakes is way too angry and I totally called the Ice Truck Killer but I did not call that ending of season one. Basically I can't wait to watch more, I knew I'd like it.

The EMMY'S. Oh goodness award season is starting up again and the Emmy nominations were released last week. Basically I'll be rooting for my faves like NPH and Jim Parsons and Mariska Hargitay among others. And even though we don't watch all the same shows, I do love LilLu's Emmy breakdown. Check out the nominees here or here.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have Sly Stallone and his ridiculous veins, ew. I don't even want to show the picture, I'll just link and don't say I didn't warn you. Ew.

And that's what's going on in Hollywood, anything I missed let me know.

happy tuesday!

It was me, in the casino, with the water gun.

I love weekends, we need more weekends in our life. And I'd say this weekend was the perfect combination of relaxing and busyness and awesomeness and just yes, fun times all around, so here we go.

Friday: When Matt told me he was going to go see Predators with some friends Friday night I took the opportunity to come home, make myself a delicious dinner, drink some wine and watch Dexter. Yes I have hopped on the Dexter train and I can thank Netflix live streaming for that. I had no idea there were only twelve episodes in a season so I was sold on starting the show earlier in the week so five episodes later Friday night was good to me.

Saturday: Slept in a bit, finished season one of Dexter (and I may or may not be hooked and there may or may not be a post about this show coming soon), did some major apartment cleaning and before I knew it Matt and I were on our way to the party. What party you ask? Only a Vegas themed murder mystery dinner birthday party for our friend Matt. And pretty much it was awesome. Everyone got into character, I was Sundance Sue, a wannabe Vegas cowgirl, my Matt was Bud the bouncer, Matt's brother Brad was a Marilyn Monroe impersonator (amazingness), Matt's other brother Ryan was a magician and I was the daughter of the birthday boy Matt who was the casino owner and yeah, priceless. And it was so cute how organized Kristin (Matt's wife) was and how everything was themed and it was just so fun. In the end I ended up being the killer, which was awesome and I almost got away with it but one guy changed his vote at the end. Anyhoo let's just share some pictures:

Elvis, Abro and Bud hanging out.

Bud and I had a secret romance ya'll.

the bossman with baby Scarface at the table.

Marilyn had to turn down the proposal, haha.

Brad and I trying on some wigs,
I mean why not right?

Ryan, Kristin and Matt having a good time.

we decided to get a bit crazy with our betting, haha.

the Matt's enjoying cigars and showing off
their guns, it's a guy thing.

my blonde twin and Ted laughing it up
at the end of the night.

After we finished playing the game we ended up drinking more and playing poker and blackjack and the guys smoked cigars and it was just a fun night all around. On top of that, it was a long night, I didn't go to bed until 3 and I know Matt and some of the other guys were up til 4:30, basically we partied like we were really in Vegas, haha.

Sunday: Slept in a little bit (I mean I was up until 3) and woke up part of the party crew cleaning up and making breakfast and I got to play with the baby and watch some PBS cartoons which was super cute and fun, seriously bebes, adorable. Eventually Matt and I left and went to Brian and Ted's parents' house to watch the World Cup game. Yeah I don't really care about soccer and there were way too many yellow card and a majority of the players were lame whiners but congrats to Spain I suppose.

After the game we made our way home and relaxed for a bit before I headed on over to Ev'Yan's place for a little Netflix/Nintendo party action. It was a fun and very needed afternoon of watching some stand up, eating some pizza, talking Twilight and just laughing and having a good time all around.

The rest of the night was spent watching TV with Matt, talking wedding stuff and relaxing, ah the good life.

And how was your weekend? Rock any fun wigs or was that just me, haha?

happy monday!

Thursday, July 8, 2010

I am so amused and quite easily.

As you all know, I am quite easily amused (heck I have a label titled "i'm easily amused") and lately there have been several things making me chuckle on a regular basis that you should probably know about if you don't already.

The newest Kia Soul commercial. Um I don't even care about the car, but for some reason, rapping hamsters is the key to my soul (ba dum ching) because this commercial makes me laugh every time it's on TV.

The Big Bang Theory. Yes I keep talking about this show, but ohmygoditsamazing. Basically when I get hooked on something new, I'm hooked for good (hello The Mentalist, Twilight mania, apples and cheese, etc). Matt and I just finished Season 2 and I cannot wait for Season 3 to be on DVD or Season 4 to start up in the Fall because this show always has me laughing. And in case you don't believe me check out this Christmas episode snippet and the ball pit, two of my most favorite scenes. (Also, Jim Parsons interview on Craig Ferguson...LOVE IT...Ding Dong!)

Wipeout. People that aren't me falling down and making asses of themselves? Sure. It makes me laugh. (also, how weird is it that I wrote a post about this show almost two years ago?? clearly my maturity level has not risen since then)

Okay so I know I said several things but that's just three and three isn't really several but just go with it okay? Awesome. They're funny right? Or I'm just ridiculous, either one works. So what's making you giggle lately? Don't be selfish, share the smiles people! :)

happy thursday!

Hip hip Hollywood.

Totally not Hollywood related, but don't forget my giveaway ends this afternoon, so enter away!

Anyhoo moving onto Hollywoodness. However a disclosure before this post, I've already taken Advil PM so I apologize for the run-on sentences and Rob gawking and rambling ahead of time. And go!
  • Starting off this week's oh so adorableness we have little baby Lou. Seriously how freaking precious is she?! Ah! Heidi Klum and Seal make beautiful babies.

    ohmygoodnessgracious preciousness!

  • Also bringing some uber cuteness is my fave Hollywood tiny tots, Violet and Seraphina Affleck. Seriously how could I not post these pics of them celebrating the 4th with mama Jen all decked out in patriotic wear? I mean it's almost too cute for words.

oh how I heart them all.

  • Moving on from the bebes and onto some other Hollywood scoop...Lindsay Lohan is headed to jail! Well she was sentenced to 90 days so who knows how long she'll actually serve before heading to 90 days of rehab. But seriously that judge was a badass and I hope Lindsay serves the full sentence, especially when she went to court rocking this...speaking of bimbos, can you spot the real Kim in this pic? Or the real boobs? Wait are there any here?...However someone who's not a bimbo and rather awesome, Zoe Saldana recently got engaged, congrats!...Another classy lady, Angelina Jolie looked quite chic and summery at a Salt promo event in Mexico, seriously it's sort of ridiculous...Kendra decided to open up about her stripper and drug abuse past and umm, okay...and finally, in some super cute coupledom, Dev Patel and Freida Pinto hit the red carpet at the Last Airbender premiere last week and seriously they are too cute:

    love her dress, heart them.

  • And in some favoriteness...
Matt Daaaaaaaaamon (have you seen Team America? then you would get that reference) But um Matt. He's swoony, even if he's just playing poker.

    love that smile.

  • In today's Twilight news... (seriously Eclipse is out and I've been talking Twilight for over a year, but apparently I just can't stop and I hope you don't mind).

So you think you've seen the most ridiculous Twilight products? Think again. Check out some of these gems and then wow, just wow.

And in Robness, there are some new cute pics of him on set of Water for Elephants and he's in a tux and so dapper and I cannot wait for this movie and swoon and aw and mmm and yeah just check it out:

rob you should always wear a tux.

  • In today's movie news...
Not really news but more just fun, check out this video montage of the 100 cheesiest lines in movies. And I'm not ashamed to say that Keanu makes more than one appearance, haha.

  • In today's TV news...
Project Runway. The 8th season of one of my newest favorite reality shows is coming back on the 29th and it's coming back in a big way, 90 minute episodes. Not that I don't love the show already but that is just way too long and I will definitely be utilizing my DVR capabilities.

Brothers and Sisters. As if losing Tommy and Robert wasn't enough, apparently Rebecca is on her way to being downsized as well. Hopefully this doesn't mean less of Justin but who knows?

Glee. As much as I love this show all of the guest stars are sort of getting out of hand. I mean will any episode next season have just the original cast?? Anyhoo, a very unexpected guest star has been slated for next season, Javier Bardem. I had no idea he was musical. But I guess we'll find out.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have a 91 year old woman that just doesn't know how to say goodbye. I mean she kept the corpses of her husband and twin sister embalmed in her house...SAY WHAT!? Yeah just read the story, it's nuts.

Anything I missed? As always let me know, woo!

happy wednesday!
