It's December when...

...I actually have to turn the heater in my car on when I drive home from work.

...I plan my outfit around which scarf I can wear. (yes I know it's California but I LOVE scarves, don't judge!)

...our Christmas lights are on every night.

...I've listened to the Nutcracker soundtrack six times already.

...there is something to do every single weekend of the month, between Christmas parties and birthdays it's always busy.

...even though the sun is out it's not eighty degrees outside.

...I find so much stuff I want to buy for myself when really I should be shopping for others.

...I listen to "Let it Snow" and really wish it would.

...hot chocolate is an every day treat.

...Love Actually has been watched a minimum of twice.

...Matt and I (mainly me) wear sweats and a sweatshirt and get all bundled up in our chilly apartment to watch TV and drink some wine and just be us.

I love December.

When is it December for you?

happy friday!

* When people start counting down the days until Christmas

* When you leave work and it's already dark outside

* When you walk through town at night and the Christmas lights are on

* When everyone's wearing scarves, hats and gloves, and they're STILL cold

* When you can see your breath in front of you

* When the grass is frosty

* When you open the curtains in the morning and you can't see the house across the street, because it's covered in snow (this only happened twice!)

Mmm, I love the Nutcracker soundtrack.

How cold does it get in LA in December?

I hate December. Between Chirstmas, Zach's, my mother's, kristine's, and my friend nicole's birthdays, i don't pay off my credit card till March. FML

Katelin, you're from Pasadena, too, so you'll know what I'm talking about when I say:

December is parade route season.

I know it's December when I find myself ranting multiple times a day about my annoying family :)

Haha, you're so right on... I guess that happens if you spent too much time at stores and at the mall ;)

Let me say I went through your list and nodded my head at every single thing. I don't live in California, but I do love scarves! Scarf weather is always nice! It hasn't snowed yet, but I'm hoping for snow, too! And I just love December in general! Happy December! Happy Holidays!

Doesn't your rent pay for a heater in your apt??

I loveee december. It gets cold here in the tropic too, although no snow. But we bundle up and it's fun, all those cute jackets, thin coats and scarves. Hot holiday drinks at local coffee shops are such treats too. And all the holiday parties :) love them.

I love this!

It's been snowing like mad for the last two days and the Christmas music has been playing at full volume (my class is close to a mutiny, but I just turn it up louder).

And I'm with you- Love Actually MUST be watched in December. Colin Firth and Hugh Grant together? Yes please.

It's December when I already feel extra lazy because the holiday vacay is coming up! Haha~
It kinda sucks living in California during winter. Don't you think so? :(
