Well first of all, Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!
Hope your day is filled with greenness and jolly little leprechauns that want to give you all their money...man wouldn't that be awesome.
Anyhoo, moving on. I had a most fabulous weekend that was full of wonderously green things. Friday night I went out with Megan and some friends to this bar/club in Hollywood, Boulevard 3, and the entire place was decked out in an Emerald City theme. It was awesome. As soon as you walked in there was a giant green hot air balloon and a yellow brick road below. And once inside the walls were green and there was a house hanging over the dance floor with a tornado scene on a TV behind it, basically it just made me want to go see Wicked again, haha.
On top of that the place also turned into Step Up every two hours and had people dancing and what have you on stage. People were even dressed up as the characters from Wizard of Oz, pretty amusing. And probably one of the creepiest/coolest parts was the fact that there was a "flying monkey" roaming around the whole place and hanging off of the balcony the entire night.

All in all it was a fabulous night in Emerald City....
And then there was Saturday. Another night of Emeraldness, only the Irish version, haha. Matt ended up having a little St. Patty's Day shindig at his house with a couple of our friends. Let's just let the pictures do the talking:
Embracing my inner Irish
The sis with green teeth, mmmmfrosting
The night wouldn't be complete without Irish car bombs

Glad to see you had fun. That Wizard of Oz party looked awesome!
Oh, what fun! The Emerald City party looks like a blast--it reminds me of the Wicked party my sister and I threw a while back :)
Looks like you had a fun weekend! I like those guys who taped beer bottles in their hands :)
I'm still missing parts of my weekend. As in I'm still trying to remember how I've got about half a zephyrhills give gallon bottle's worth of coins in my bathtub.
how many gay guys were at that Wizard of Oz bar?
Seriously? Like maybe 10,000?
Wow looks like a crazy party! I haven't had a chance to celebrate the holiday yet, but glad you did. I'm wearing green today at least! :)
omg i LOVE the house hanging above everyone in the club. i'mmmmmm mmmmmmmelting!
I have never tried an Irish car bomb, nor do I ever intend to. That would be a total night-ruiner right there, haha. But it sounds like you had a great weekend! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
It's sad but true, Irish car-bombs are my favorite shot. They make me believe they have less alcohol...so less hangover.
weelll, we dont have this holyday here but happy saint patrick for you =D
xoxo
