Now if only I could just ditch work and go straight to the beach, then the day would be perfect, haha. I'll just settle with eating my lunch and reading outside, sounds like a good way to absorb the day, woo.
Okay moving on from the weather, because really you can only say so much. My friend AJ just brought to my attention the fact that two years ago today we graduated college....ummmwtf?!?! How did that happen?!?! Now I know I have some readers that have been out of college much longer and are probably past the phase of wishing they were back, etc, but really for me it was seriously four of the best years of my life. Anyone that knows me knows how much I loved college, it's sort of ridiculous, haha. There are so many stories I could share and people I could talk about, but instead I'll just share some pictures from my college years to commemorate today (and I'll try not to tear up I swear):
Freshman Year:
Hangin out on my roomie's bed
and yes note my hot coat, haha.
Hangin out on my roomie's bed
and yes note my hot coat, haha.
The aftermath of one kickass snow fight
...of course the girls won
And theme parties, haha.
Limos are for winners (and birthdays!)
Junior Year
Who doesn't love Christmas?
(seriously only one Junior year pic online?!
I swear we did more than just holidays that year, haha)
Senior Year
Jock Jams party at our place
We are so crazay
Seriously, who doesn't love costumes?
And who doesn't love huge drinks?
The best GDI family around
We made it to the Price is Right!
AJ and I straight BAMFs
Apparently graduating didn't make us any more mature
Oh college, how I heart thee. I seriously have like five albums full of pictures from college because this was pre-digital camera and most pre-Facebook. These are just some of the best I could find. Anyhoo, hope you enjoyed my college montage, I know I did, haha.
Hope you all have a most fabulous Wednesday! Woo!
happy wednesday!

Kate, I miss YOU! And college too, of course. Seriously, come to Columbus this fall. Surely airline prices will fall by then? Or you could just move here. Actually, Alex is looking at Stanford for business school in a year...how far is that from you?
it's always so much fun to go back and look at pictures of awesome times. a little sad too ;)
you and your friends look like you know how to have a gooood time! rad
loving ALL the pictures. (okay, maybe one more than the others.) ;)
looks you totally lived it up, girl! thanks for sharing these with us!! p.s., price is right? so jealous.
xoxo, b
I've only been out of college for a year but I was actually just thinking about how I miss everyone! It's so funny to me because I have such different memories and different friends from every year. I could write a post about every year, and they would all be completely different.
I agree. Today's weather is fabulous! However, the news kept mentioning a heat wave last night so I'm wondering when that will hit.
College girlfriends are the best! I have had Peter Pan syndrome this week as well. Growing up can be hard and nostalgic!
youuuu used the term GDI in college too!! we alwayssss say that.. haha
can't wait to get out there and enjoy that beautiful weather.
I love theme parties so much!! I definitely went to some doozies in college.
i'm still in college...i have a few months left and seeing your montage made me miss living at college!! ever since our move to NC, i stay at home and it is no where near as fun. (although I love my parents).
im seriously missing college too!!
thanks for the trip down memory lane, haha. also, don't mind me - i'm perusing your blog for guest post purposes.
j$
These pictures are so fun! But you know what? I really don't miss college.
Strange, no?
We actually had sunshine in New York today too! And I sat outside and read for lunch and it was glorious!
OK, I offically miss college!!!
The weather was nice here for a couple of days, now, it's back to rain!
Okay, I love you, but WAH. NYC weather is totally bipolar and I can't wait sunny California!
Also, omg, it's been THREE YEARS since I graduated college. I AM OLD.
i have always ALWAYS wanted to go on the price is right!!! so cool!
I seriously loved this walk down memory lane! You girls look like so much fun :) I hope you enjoyed your beautiful sunny day!!
Cute pictures!! We also used to love some Malibu (and way too much MAC makeup)! Now I can't even stand to smell the stuff!
Cool Pics and a nice blog..
Hee- I love your little weather report! So funny. All of your college pics look like SO much fun! Makes me wish that I had gone away for school. Man... I feel like I'm getting old too-- and I graduated from college one year ago this month. CRAZY!
i graduated from college two years ago last week...kind of incredible and sad...
awesome pictures!
Two years??? Girl, please! I'm at five as of Sunday.
I drank my fair share of Malibu back in those days, too.
Aw, today is my graduation from college anniversary as well.
Class of '04
I do miss it as well:)
It was 3 years ago yesterday that i graduated college and I must say, I don't really miss it. But I do miss some of my friends :)
That looks like so much fun!
I've switched schools every year so I never had a tight group of friends. I wish I did. I think mostly I just want the pictures so I can look back and think of what awesome times I had :)
Ugh I miss college too.
But it's funny because I work here now, so I guess I just miss being in college..
Where did you go to school??
Looks like fun!
Wait, you mean AJ did not stay in his room and practice his baseball swing on Friday nights? For shame!
Oh yea, nice pictures.
I'm so glad you had such a good time in college. I feel like I missed out on a lot of stuff in high school and college. In high school I kept to myself and just my closest friends and in college I lived at home to save money. I kinda wish I had stayed in the dorms for my "experiences". I have only a handful of pictures I think. *sniff*
Yay for great weather! And those pics are so cute!
Oh my these pictures were so cute! It looks like you had a total blast!
