Oh what a friend filled weekend.

Seriously I love weekends. I mean how could I not? But this weekend was pretty enjoyable and all around a good time.

Friday: Oh man Friday took forever to get through. Seriously it just dragged on and on and on. I was so glad to head home I didn't even mind the traffic. After I got home Matt and I hung out for a bit before heading to one of our favorite bars for dinner, Barney's Beanery. Seriously, the place is great if you ever come visit me chances are we'll go here at some point, haha. Anyhoo after dinner our friend Miles who was in town came by and we all chatted and drank and it was awesome. After a while a couple more friends trickled in basically we just had a good time catching up and hanging out.

oh silly boys

All in all it was a great way to spend a Friday night.

Saturday: Started the day sleeping in which is always two points in my book. After working out on the Wii Fit a bit I ran some errands (hit up Michael's to indulge my creative side a bit) and eventually came home to some TV movie watching. After all tht schnazzy stuff Matt and I headed over to Hollywood to hang out with some friends. My friend David was in town and staying with my friend AJ so we headed over to Kate Mantinlini for dinner. If you ever go there I highly recommend the gorgonzola pasta because it was divine, divine I tell you! After dinner we headed over to the Pig'n Whistle to see David's friend's band, Shytown, play. They were actually really good. It was definitely an intimate setting so we go to see and hear them all up close and personal, haha. After the show we went to yet another animal named bar, haha, The Fox and Hounds for a drink and to hang out.

All in al another quality evening.

Sunday: Hark! Daylight savings! I don't even care that I lost an hour of sleep because I slept in anyways, but I was so excited for it to get light out, haha. After I eventually rolled out of bed I attempted an art project. I've wanted to add some more art or color to the wall above our couch and I thought I'd attempt it. So this is what my day basically looked like:

two points to anyone who can guess what movie I was watching?

Basically I still don't know how I feel about my finished works and I'm still no done but we'll see how it goes. I'll keep ya posted. After the art sessions I headed on over to the Rose Bowl for a nine mile walk (the half marathon is in two weeks! ah!) and came home to a relaxing evening of Harry Potter, Chinese food, Iron Man, and Matt. Basically it was perfect, haha.

and how was your weekend?

happy monday!

I've been trying to lay a bit more low on the weekends these days! At least I can live through my other blogger friends!

I am in love with the longer days too! I don't even care if it means that I have to get up earlier.
