I should be embarrassed.

But really I'm not. I just don't always like to admit it. But I am. Right now. Right this second. I should be but am no longer embarrassed about the following...
  • I love country music, especially Keith Urban. Like I blare Keith music at work and try not to sing along it's that good.
  • I go to YouTube just to listen to "Tik Tok" and I cannot stop. And I don't even like Mick Jagger or brushing my teeth with Jack, ew.
  • My ears. They are huge. And they stick out, a lot. Well maybe not so much any more but I've been plagued with embarrassment since I was ridiculed as a kid and called Dumbo. But now. I just don't give a damn and I love my ears, earringless and all.
  • I just finished a book called Sugar Daddy and I'm about to start Blue Eyed Devil. If that doesn't scream chic lit I don't know what else would. But I don't care anymore, the book can sit face up in my passenger seat now.
  • I hate driving and I'm horrible at parking. So much so that I try to not drive anyone around if I can avoid it. I know it's lame and mean but I'm so embarassed at my horrible skills that I just get nervous and with that I am no longer embarassed, I'm saying it loud and proud. I suck at parking.

  • I allow pictures like this to stay tagged and up on Facebook. Clearly I have no shame and I won't be embarrassed.

I know there are probably more embarrassing things that I just need to own up to but I can't think of anything at the moment. So yes this is me not being embarrassed.

What about you? Anything you need to stop being embarrassed about.

happy weekend!

I should be embarrassed about the fact that i have zero clean dishes left in my apartment.

I should be embarrassed that I bought three jumbo-sized boxes of Lucky Charms at the store a week ago, but I'm not.

I should be embarrassed that I refer to them as Chucky Larms when I'm talking to BF, but I'm not :)

Have a great Friday girly!

Isn't it great when you let go of embarrassment and shame to proclaim yourself? Liberating! Congrats :)

if by 'embarrassed' you mean completely awesome then yes. then again, this is coming from me, who has been listening to Hannah Montana's 'he could be the one' on repeat...

I should be embarassed that I can't parallel park for the life of me, but I'm not. A little more walking never hurt anyone, did it?

I should be embarassed that I like "The Nanny," re runs on Nick @ Nite, but I think it's a funny show and I don't care who knows it.

I should be embarassed that for Christmas I asked for and received the Twilight Edward & Bella Barbie dolls, but I love them. And they are staying in the box because someday they will be worth something OR my kids will think i'm cool for having them. (or mabye totally lame, who knows.)

Hahahaha... I totally still put chick lit books face down on the passenger seat of my car. Someday I'll get brave!

I am a rotten parker. I always hit the curb. Always. I just scratched another wheel on my car and I am so scared the husband is going to find it (he loves the car. LOVES IT. He will be devastated that I scratched it AGAIN.)

That "Tic Toc" (or however the hell you spell it) song is addictive. It's bad. And reminds me of one of W's friends every time I hear it.

I should be embarrassed by how dirty my house is, but not enough for me to clean. And I should be embarrassed that I'm staying home on a Saturday night and blogging, but I'm not.

Happy weekend!

New England's music taste used to be called ABC (anything but country) but when i went to college, I was introduced to the awesome that is Kenny Chesney and Dierks Bentley, so I understand you completely!

HAHAHA I just wrote a post that included highway driving and how I hate it. I also hate parking. Parallel parking that is. It takes me about 10 minutes to do it correctly. and I'm so nervous about it each time I have to do it (maybe twice a year). It's a big reason why I absolutely hate driving in Chicago.

It's always great to get out the quirks so you don't feel so insecure about them anymore. Making them public is a big screw you to the shy folks who are insecure ha ha.

You are my inspiration and role model! I love how you've listed all these things of you being you and not being embarrassed.

I happen to like some country music (Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, some Keith Urban) and Tik Tok. What is it about that song? Also, I allow embarrassing photos of me tagged on facebook.

I think there are too many things I would have to list. hahaha.
