Loser.

Yesterday someone told me that they thought I lost weight. And it was sort of awesome. It's always a pleasant surprise when hard work pays off. In this case my hard work has been walking several days a walk to train for the half marathon I'm walking in in a month and getting out of bed an hour early almost every day to do some Wii Fit before I go to work.

Yes it is nuts, Yes I am tired, Yes I feel better after doing it and Yes I am finally motivated. So motivated in fact that I am putting it out here on the blog for all to see and all to keep me in check. I'm not even kidding, I won't mind if someone says "so hey how was that Wii work out this morning?" because I want to be able to answer and say I did it. Not only that, Matt just bought me EA Active and I can't wait to try it out this weekend.

Seriously who am I? Excited to work out. Well I'd say it's a good thing. It's a good thing I'm trying to be a loser, a good thing I'm motivated, good thing I have a goal and it's a good thing I've put it out there.

So internet, I am determined to be a loser and a loser I will be. Hurrah!

Let's go running for the 1/2 marathon in Houston. I'm training for it too and holy hell, I'm only up to 3 miles. 10 more to go!

To me, there are no better words to hear. Sad, but kinda true. ;-)

That's good. There is nothing better than having the motivation to stay healthy and fit. Walking and fun activities are the best way to go. Walking has to be one of the easiest ways to lose weight, people just don't walk fast enough is the problem. You will only have a great result and a good overall feeling when you have met your goals.

Good luck & Keep at it!

EA Active is a great workout! You'll be yelling at your little virtual trainer when you are on what feels like your one millionth lunge, but it's SO worth it... haha

Good for you! I am definitely not a morning workout person at all but I admire those who can do it. No, instead I prefer to go to the gym after work and am then wired until well after midnight =)

I want to hear more about the EA Active!

Also, wii boxing on the Wii Fit? My favorite thing ever. Seriously.

It's the best feeling when someone else notices weightloss especially most times you don't notice it yourself!

Keep it up! You rock.

Doesn't it just make you feel skinny when people say things like that even if you haven't lost weight? I think we should each say something nice like this or your skirt is gorgeous to make people feel better each day.

Way to go girl. We need to go for a nice walk in Houston. Seriously, I'll bring my shoes. I need to get my Wii Fit hooked up too ASAP

Q1: How much walking do you do per day in preparation?

Q2: Can you feel any difference since you started training?
