The Case of the missing eyebrow.

A couple months ago I happened to look in the mirror when I noticed something looked a little off. Something was missing....

Part of my freaking eyebrow.

I kid you not folks, it's just gone away. My left eyebrow has decided it doesn't want to be full any more, rather just a partial brow of sorts and I am totally baffled.

I have no idea what happened or who attacked me with a razor in my sleep but it's weird. Maybe I'm just a medical mystery or I should hire Patrick Jane to figure out what happened (yes I realize no one died just my eye brow, but still having Simon Baker investigate would not be a bad idea).

Anyhoo, want to see the evidence? Here it is:

I mean right!? What the hell!?

Then again no one has really noticed it until I point it out to them so it's not that bad. But now you all know and I know and yeah, I just want my eyebrow back, haha.

So if you know any eyebrow remedies send them my way please.

So have you lost anything lately, haha?

happy friday!

Maybe if it bothers you, you could have a play with filling it in with an eyebrow pencil?

To be honest, I wouldn't have noticed unless you pointed it out. Eyebrows are weird like that. :D

(Although I would ignore my advice because um, never shaved, waxed or plucked my eyebrows in my life.)

how funny!

I can't say that's missing. But I am known to misplace tons of things inside my house.e

Wait, isn't that your right eyebrow? Or is the pic just switched around? Haha.

But yeah, like someone else suggested - eyebrow pencils are awesome - and they're not just for old ladies anymore, haha.

Also, is that your new sweater? Love it!!

What! That's nuts!! I didn't notice until you pointed it out either, so don't be too self-conscious :)

I agree with the other ladies though, I use an eyebrow pencil just to darken my eyebrows sometimes and it works wonder. May be worth a try if it really bothers you!

Do you sleep on your left side? I do, and my left eyebrow is a wee bit thinner on the edge. If you are paranoid, it wouldn't hurt to see a doctor, though - very rarely eyebrow hair loss can be a sign of a thyroid problem. I don't mean to be alarmist at ALL though - it's probably really unlikely. And I'm not a doctor (I just got checked for this particular problem), so take my advice with a grain of salt.

One morning, I noticed the same thing happened to my niece!.. However, this was due to her trying to shape her own eyebrows with a shaver.. yea, shes 8. LOL

Anyhow, Im thinkin' this could be a pillow smushy face thing. Do you always sleep on that side of your face?.. Maybe buy one of those sensitive face pillow cases, Im sure they're out there!

OMG I too am missing part of an eyebrow! My theory is that it's the side of my face I sleep on most so the hair just sort of wears off. Kind of like how guys have little hair on their legs below their sock line.

maybe you sleep more heavily on that side and the hairs rub out/away? Interesting none the less! Eyebrow pencil time!? I've never used one, but that would be my suggestion!

My cousin and I both have a funky kinda-half-missing left eyebrow, but for us it was like that since we were born. I've always been annoyed with it, especially when people thought it was because I was over-plucking my eyebrows..

I would go for a brow pencil or even just brushing on a little bit of eyeshadow that matches the color of your eyebrows. It works for me - it looks totally natural.

ha! that is completely wild. i think you need to find a genie in a lamp. rub it and wish for a full eyebrow. until then, i think it looks great!

My eyebrows have thinned out. I guess in a way they are missing too. I'm a bit jealous of people with very full eyebrows.

What the... how did that happen?? LOL

oh no! hahahaa! this made me laugh, i'm sorry but it's hilarious. But I can't really say anything b/c my eyebrows are ridiculous, why do eyebrows have to be so complicated!?
You're adorable btw :)

I know everyone is saying that it is from sleeping on that side and they are probably right, but I would like to think that you never really had a full eyebrow but a little baby caterpillar that lived there but finally grew up and had to leave. On second thought, that is kind of gross.
