Things to be said.

Today I felt that there were a few things that I needed to say. And it's my blog and I'll say what I want to, duh.
  • If you've given me a blog award, thank you. And if I haven't passed it on, I'm sorry. But not to sound like a hot shot or anything, but I've gotten so many random blog awards in the past and even recently that I just haven't posted or passed on. Why? I don't really know. But I do still appreciate the acknowledgment, please just don't get mad if I don't post about it or pass it on . Still friends?

  • I realized that I have something to do almost every weekend between now and September. Oh boy.

  • Although they're Hollywood A-listers, Denzel and John Travolta's new movie The Taking of Pelham 123 does not look good. Sorry if you want to see it, but I won't be in the theater with you. I'll take a pass on this one.

  • I finished Handle with Care and posted my review of it at my schnazzy review blog. You should probably check it out.

  • As an AT&T customer for seven years I am kind of annoyed of the new iphone prices. Seriously what the hell? I think I should basically just get the new phone for free. Right? Right?

  • Popcorn and wine are almost as good as cheese and wine, almost.

  • Big alcoholic drinks are both delicious and dangerous. And I would love another one this weekend? Who wants to get it for me? :)

LOL, as far as the blog award, hey, I felt uneasy about passing it on as well.. Not saying u aren't deserving but when it was given to me, I felt that if I didn't 'follow the rules" then I wasn't being a good guy.. So, like a good girl, I followed but yet w/the ones I chose I did give a disclaimer, a nice out, if u know what I mean... no problem w/me, I completely understand..

I've actually seen the real Pelham movie made in the 70's with Walter Matthau...

and it wasn't that good. I figure new actors arent going to make it any better.

Hooray for busy weekends! I am annoyed by AT&T too for the very same reasons, that and the price of their data plans -- and how you still have to pay for a messaging plan on top of that. WTF?

Thanks I feel better now! =)

Have a great weekend Katelin!

RE: Pelham 123

I just saw the original last night on cable and it was pretty intriguing.

Funny to hear Walter Mathau call someone a "chickenshit asshole."

I feel the same way about blog awards, really. Once or twice the first time I got it, I was happily passing it on but then it's a lot to handle. I feel grateful though.

Look at you, busy women, weekends fully booked :D

I'm not a fan of dropped calls by AT&T from the iPhone. Love the phone but what if I'm in a jam and need to make a call? I'm screwed.

I hear you on the weekend thing. It's fun but also so exhausting.

As for blog awards I don't really post mine anymore either... not quite sure what to do with them.

And what I'd like to say?
I'm tired of 50 year olds who can't write a sentence to save their life or people who overly complicate things.

I kept drooling over the iPhones, but I hear so many crazy things about AT+T, it makes me not want to switch. Verizon gave me my Blackberry storm for under $200, so I'm a happy camper.

Also, I miss big alcoholic drinks, and I may be a huge fan of that picture ;)

Holy crap, I'm right there with you on the iPhone thing! I genuinely believe I deserve a free iPhone after all the crap I've put up with from AT&T. Why don't they see it our way!?

Yes. I say:

* TGIF
* I'm craving some wine and cheese right now. Thank you for that.
* I can't wait for My Sister's Keeper to come out. Since you brought up Handle With Care, I thought this was an appropriate thing to say. Cameron Diaz as the mother however? Not so sure...

Haha! I love your frankness! Keep it up!

ONE . I could DEFINITELY use a 3ft tall drink right now, preferably WITH YOU on the strip, dancing our faces off.

TWO. I fucking LOVE what is going on in the background of this picture. I'm just saying.

I'm a white wine girl, but my fave food and wine combo is red wine and dark chocolate mousse. You will swoon.

Don't know why I started following this blog, but you are infectious and likeable. I guess that's reason enough.

However, there's a bit more to Life than good vino and good weekends. Whenever you and Matt are ready for a paradigm shift, pay me a visit.

All Love,

I have to agree with you about blog awards. I so appreciate them but just can't always pass them on. And big drinks rock! We're getting one together next month!

I'm having the same realization with my weekends. I have a feeling summer is going to FLY by.

Don't feel too badly about the iPhone! They're $699 here in Australia (even with a plan!) so I TOTALLY can't afford one.

The new iPhones look delicious, but I'll be sticking with my 1st generation for now. Although cut and paste abilities sound pretty rocking!
