Wiiiiiiiiipeout!

So last night was lovely. Went over to Matt's dad's house, had some pizza, some wine and sat back to watch some brainless television....ahhh the life. No really I'm not kidding, I needed a night just like that to calm my life down a bit. And damn was it funny.

After watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune (gotta get the brain working a bit right?) the new show Wipeout came on. Has anyone seen this show? I was sort of intrigued when I saw the previews a while back but had yet to watch, until last night. And wow. Talk about hilarious. Well hilarious if you find people getting the crap beat of them by giant balls funny....and I do.

I can't find a clip from last night's show, but there was one guy who's legs basically did the vertical splits over the giant balls, I cringed...and then laughed out loud. Seriously the show is ridiculous. Check it out.

We also watched some of I Survived a Japaneese Game Show! and wow yet again. Granted it sort of reminded me of Road Rules a bit with people that are just as annoying and not nearly as funny as Wipeout.

So yes, point is. If you get a chance and don't mind physical humor I think you'll get a kick out of Wipeout, so check.it.out. Woo.

happy wednesday!

That show reminds me of MXC on Spike, only without the hilarious dubbing over and commentary. It's just as ridiculous, but with way better commentary. They always name the two teams something totally random, like Clown Teachers versus Circus Freaks. Good times.

I've seen a few minutes of Wipeout here and there. It's pretty funny :)

I love physical humor. Strange but true fact: I was laugh hysterically when someone slips/trips and falls and goes out of view (the camera doesn't follow them down). Think of Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality when she comes out of her makeover session.

As Rebecca said above, this is just like MXC. HILARIOUS! I also watched I survived a Japanese Game Show last night for the first time, pretty darn funny.

I had downed almost two glasses of wine by the time this show came on last night, so naturally I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard!

I like Wipeout, but I found the announcers to be really annoying. I just want to watch people face plant in the mud in silence dammit!

MXC and Ninja Warrior!! They'll always been better than the american versions but these are still pretty funny!

I couldn't do this because I'm afraid of big things.

I love physical humor! One of my favorite shows was Whose Line is it Anyway? I love the segment they do with props.

I have to watch it now! My mom keeps telling me it reminds her of something my brother and I would try and replicate.

Something about that show makes me want to poke myself in the eye with a pencil. I can't.

Wipeout is always great for a good laugh. My favorite ever was when Never Been Kissed Ariel couldn't find the pole. You'll have to look for it. I almost died laughing!

Wipeout is INTENSE.
I seriously think they
just grabbed some of those
people off the streets.
Because umm...why would
they select some of those
out of shape peeps?
Something is SERIOUSLY
going to get injured...badly.

But it does make me giggle
often...

Oh man, John has really been wanting to watch "Wipeout." We checked out Japanese Game Show and it was pretty dang funny. I was surprised the Americans had never heard of mochi. Maybe it's a Cali thing?
