Back to school.

Well not quite, but sort of.

I was sitting around last night trying to figure out what to write and then it hit me.

College!

In just about a month I'll be back in Ohio to celebrate Virginia's wedding and I'll be reunited with a good majority of my college friends. I'll also even get to visit campus and all that jazz, so needless to say I've been taking some strolls down memory lane lately.

But then I realized what better way to stroll down some college memory lane than to show some pictures? Specifically Homecoming pictures. Homecoming was always my favorite, the weather was amazing (seriously October in Ohio, priceless), we rarely won the football game but it was still fun, there were plenty of awesome parties and countless good times.

And so I present some pictures of Homecoming past:

seriously, how can you not love Autumn?

I loved campus so much.

we all had so much school spirit!

but these guys had just a wee bit more.

all dolled up for the Gala.

the nurses party was one of the best that year,
and so were the tequila shots, haha.

all bundled up by the bonfire.

oh how I love these ladies.

What are some of your favorite Homecoming memories?

happy friday!

Gosh, I miss college sooo much! Obviously not the work, I miss my social life and not working! =)

As for homecoming memories...they used to have a naked mile at one of the schools I went to. Some people would run a mile naked in the middle of the night on the track...I never took part in it but I did take part in the drinking and watching=)

I couldn't agree more, October in Ohio is stunningly beautiful.

Homecoming college memories -- drinking with friends, going to the game (which was rarely won), and having a huge cookout with the dorm.

I adore Virginia. Please give her a big giant hug and tell her it's from "that crazy Nicole girl who she's never met, but who fucking loves her just the same."

WOW it looks like you had a great time in college! I on the other hand apparently was blind to it all. I don't have any fun memories like that and I wish I did. Live and learn I guess! But have a wonderful time back in Virginia and thanks for all those fun photos :)

Virginia! Dude, tell her to start blogging again.

I fall looks beautiful there. I can't wait for fall to hit Chicago. Hopefully it lasts longer than a few weeks before winter!

Ha, I don't think I've ever been to a homecoming. I'm always down for a tequila shot, though! ;-)

Aww, how fun! Homecoming was always a hectic time at the sorority house because we were competing to win a big prize between all organizations. My birthday fell on homecoming one year, and that was a lot of fun.

I'm excited that you get to go back to Ohio! Where did you go to school? Because it looks like you had an amazing time.

I think I've told you this before, but whenever you talk about your college days I always get SO jealous and it makes me wish I had gone away for college. It seems like you had the best time EVER and met the coolest girls. And look at those trees! SOO gorgeous! Your campus looks so pretty.
