A couple of nights ago Matt and I were watching Voltron, yes that Voltron. Basically the cartoon version of Power Rangers (I'm convinced Power Rangers creators stole the idea from that show, but whatever, moving on). Well when the show was over we started debating theme songs and show openings. I think the Voltron theme song is so-so whereas Matt thinks it's AWESOME. So now I bring the debate to the masses, what do you all think?

So really, is Voltron the best one evah? Or does Jem just beat them all? What do you think???

OMG, they totally stole the Voltron idea for Power Rangers. And the Jem theme song was my song. I still know all of it. And duck tales! Amazing! Oooh, I also love the tale spin theme song.

First off Voltron isn't a theme song. As much as I loved that show it was just some dude talking.
TMNT is the OJ Simpson of cartoon theme songs.

What about Darkwing Duck? So catchy! I think Duck Tales wins in my book, but second place? Jem. Definitely Jem. She is, in fact, truly outrageous.
I'm gonna go with the TMNT, but my favorite theme song ever was... wait for it.. Dexter's Lab. LOVED it!

I was always a fan of Captain Planet, and also Gummi Bears!!! Gummi Bears was awwwwesome!

ahh too many to choose from. I was going to say Jem but then I loved singing along to Duck Tales (woo who!) and then turtle power! ahhh I think i'm going to go with Duck Tales, it gets caught in the head, but Jem gets points for being more like a real song.

I used to LOVE Duck Tales and TMNT! I thought they were so fun and cool!
TMNT, Ghost Busters, Captain Planet, Duck Tails, Darkwing Duck... and even though the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog didn't have a good theme song, it was still an awesome show!
Unfortunately JEM and TMNT video is no longer available but I have to say that I loved TMNT song! Jem is hard to beat though.

Oh man- you are so awesome! Thanks for posting all of these theme songs- there's nothing like a bunch of cartoon theme songs from the 80s (? right?) to get your monday morning started right. Hmm. they're all so good! Jem is great, of course but I kinda like the Turtles' theme song too!
i'm going with duck tales. but if you had the gummibears theme song as an option, i would've totally chosen that one. bouncing here and there and everywherrrree...
