Sing us a song, you're the piano man.

So really I don't think I'll ever get a weekend from my weekends, haha. But let's be honest, I don't really mind. This weekend was so busy I don't even think you want to hear all of it. But alas I love recapping my weekends so here goes:

Friday night: Headed over to Matt's house and we got some Hawaiian pizza (seriously, heaven in food form, I kid you not). Post dinner we headed out to meet some friends at Howl at the Moon (same dueling piano bar we went to for Matt's birthday) and it was awesome. Seriously, we had such a good time, I think I even lost my voice a bit from all the singing and screaming, haha.

Me and Matt

Steve and Karen

Matt and the boys singing on stage
(or to each other, I can't tell, haha)

Me, Matt and Katrina

All in all it was a fabulous time and I can't wait til we can get a bunch of us back there again. Nothing like drinking and raunchy piano players, haha.

Le Saturday: Talk about a busy day. Matt and I were up early(ish) and got on the move. Ran some errands in Old Town (I even dragged him to Victoria's Secret, haha) for a bit and made it over to my little brother's playoff basketball game. Sadly they lost but I think my brother was happy to have us all there. I am seriously one ridiculous fan, I cheer the entire time and not quietly either, haha. I think I get more into my brother's games than Laker games even, haha, oh well. After the game we finally got to relax a bit at my house. But before I knew it, it was time for us to head out again. Matt and I had a lovely date night, went to dinner and then saw the newest Narnia. I was so excited to finally see this movie since it was one of the big ones I was looking forward to. And it was pretty good. Not as good as the first one, but still pretty interesting and definitely entertaining. All in all, one fabulous day.

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!: Another busyish day. Woot. Matt and I woke up early(ish) went to the gym (holla!) then over to our friend's house to get some more free stuff for our future apartment. I seriously love our friends, haha. We racked up some kitchenware, a microwave, a huge shelving thing and some lamps, superb. So that was nice and fun. Afterwards we all went to the driving range to hit some golf balls. I was a lovely spectator (I only play putt putt). From there Matt and I headed back to his house relaxed and what have you before I went to my house to organize, clean, read, all the usual. Basically one lovely day after another, I loved it.

And now it's back to the work grind. But at least there is so much stuff planned this week. I have family coming in from Hawaii and a college friend coming in on Thursday, so seriously it's going to be awesome and I can't wait.

And how was your weekend?

Hope you have a most fabulous day!

Oh and totally unrelated, Happy Birthday Johnny Depp! You are fabulous :)

happy monday!

Ugh, Johnny Depp love. Sigh. I feel the same about Narnia. Good, but not as good as the first.

sounds like a fun weekend! that's cool you got more apartment stuff-- so exciting! Yeah, 2nd Narnia wasn't as good, but still pretty awesome. Did you read the books? That's cute that you cheer so much for your bro's bball game!

Sounds like an awesome time!! And I have to say, I have a calendar that told me today that i was Mr. Depp's birthday. I silently wished him good wishes and then prayed that he would get lost on a movie set and wander into my home so I could... celebrate the day with him. I am shameless.
