Will you go to prom with me?

So remember in May when it was prom season and everyone was posting pictures from their own proms back in the day? Yeah well somehow I missed that one. However, last night I was messing around on my computer and I found all these old high school pictures (prom ones included!) that I had completely forgotten about. So today I present you with a small peek into my prom past, enjoy:
Junior prom-2001

all the couples in front of my house before leaving

oh what lovely ladies!
my high school besties

Senior prom - 2002

all the cool ladies wear flip flops, obviously

coming downstairs to meet our dates, woo

Oh how I miss the high school days. I know some people didn't enjoy high school, but I had a freaking amazing time. It was so much fun! And dances! Oh the dances! I loved both of my proms so much and these pictures just bring me back. I also sort of love my Junior year prom dress the best, one of my favorite most simple yet elegant dresses ever, that I wish I could wear again to something, haha.

Did you love your prom? What did you wear? Would you wear it again? Ooooh high school.

happy wednesday!

Your prom from 2001?

I swear I wore one JUST LIKE IT to my homecoming dance in 2002.

I didn't *Love* prom, but I'm glad I went. And I LOVED my dress! I sometimes try it on now... just to see if it still fits!! (...it does!!!!) :)

I loved high school, and my proms were so fun!! I went with my best guy friend both junior and senior years, and we had a blast both times.

Hahah cute!! I wore my prom dress again to a formal when I was dating a military boy (tee hee!) Prob still fits too, I should go and check. :) Also, I love that now girls wear short prom dresses!! All my cousins who are still in high school/jhs wear short little cocktail dresses! I miss the long dress. :(

Aww, you look so beautiful. :]

& I never went to MY prom. I was a date for someone else's when I was in 10th grade, but as for my senior prom, I never went. Long story, but I'm kind of sad I missed out.

My friend Jessica wore the same dress you did when we went to prom sophomore year! What a small little prom world. And PS, you look great in both!

I freaking loved prom. And high school. I think I mostly liked the IDEA of prom. I'll have to do a Prom Retrospective post on my blog, but probably not until after I go again this year. :)

i did love my prom. oh so much. i loved both my dresses and would totally wear them again. except that my mom donated them to goodwill. someone is waltzing around in 400 dollar ball gown dresses somewhere!

Oh prom, I never went but sometimes wish I did. I would have rocked a 90s style dress. Big time.

I have to say I never really liked prom. My Junior year I went with a guy who I barely knew and my Senior year I went by myself. A guy had asked me to go my Senior year with him, but I knew I wouldn't have as much fun with him so I told him no.

my prom i wore a plain and simple black long dress with a high slit, i love it to this day and could actually be worn today.

Personally I hated my prom haha. I had gotten back from Japan middle of the school year before and thus didn't really know anyone. Plus, to add to the social awkward thing, I did college part-time and high school part-time my senior year. My best friend felt that I "had to experience one high school function in my life" so we got prom dresses and went together. It was interesting to say the least... except her Mom wouldn't show people our prom pictures since they "might get the wrong idea" as to our "sexual preferences".

Awesome blog and looks like you, at least, had a good time at prom. :)
