I'll have a Zima with my Hollywood news.

So really, I take a break for one day and all of Hollywood breaks loose. I kid, I kid, Hollywood is always full of random ass stories of pregnant ladies, bad music videos and every now and then some real inspiration. So let's go shall we?
  • So apparently I feel the need to talk about a baby or a pregnant lady every week, and this week is no different. However the two ladies knocked up this week are way out my ordinary realm of discussion. And who are these fine females...none other than the Queen of Porn herself Miss Jenna Jameson and the third Mrs. Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller. I don't know why but I find both of these pregnancies hilarious. Jenna Jameson...a mom? What is she going to teach her kid? How to pole dance and get naked? Haha. And Brooke, oh Brooke. You've only been with Charlie a couple months and you already want his baby? I don't know if that screams Money money or just money, haha. But hey maybe I'm being mean and both these ladies will be fabulous moms...ummmmaybe?

  • In other celeb mom news, the uber fabulous Gwen Stefani gave birth to another baby boy last week named Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. Now just let that one sit with ya. Take that in. Do you not think of the glorious Zima when you hear that? However plenty of people have explained and theorized the reasons behind the name, so pick for yourself the meaning of little Zuma's name. At least he's part of one of the most fabulous families of music awesomeness.

  • Now if you have eaten lunch recently I advise that you don't watch this video. I'm not even going to embed it here it's too horrendous. It's scary. It's ugly. It's gross. It's gag enducing. It's Heidi Montag's new music video. Ahhhhhrun for the hills! (haha, get it?). Well I guess it's better than her first attempt at a video, "Higher", but it's still awful. So don't blame me if you hurl up your lunch after that, and don't say I didn't warn you.

  • In other Hills I don't know. I haven't seen this week's episode!!! The blashpemy! But I do know that the Hills stars make more money that I do and that Whitney is in NYC with some hottie schmottie. How about the Greek premiere? Ah! Missed that one too! Frick! Ah so is life with no internet or cable yet...hopefully this weekend Matt and I will get it, I can only go so long. At least I have plenty of movies to keep me company.

  • In other reality TV news, apparently American Idol wanted to spice things up for next season and have added another female judge to the panel. I seriously hope this woman is as crazy as Paula then maybe I'd start watching it again, haha. Another reality show that is making it's way back is Dancing with Stars who officially announced the new lineup for next season. You can check it all out here. Now I don't really watch the show and only voted once when Mel B was on because clearly I heart her but I may have to watch just for Misty May-Treanor. Yay volleyball!

  • Moving on. Hayden Panitierre stole my birthday outfit idea. I'm not even kidding.

I totally plan on rocking shimmery gold stuff and a ridiculous hat on my birthday next year, I mean who wouldn't? haha.

  • Okay so I also posted Hayden in her bathing suit to appease some of my male readers because I am totally about to go uber girly on you and swoon one of my favorites....Joshua Jackson. Seriously, I heart him. HEART him. And apparently last night was some soiree for Fringe and he looked just dashing and on top of that gave one uber cute interview with InStyle, love.

Isn't he just so freaking cute? Yeah I thought so too. :)

  • So I'm reading The Notebook and I'm almost done and I can't decide if I like it better than the movie or not. I don't know, there are definitely some diferences and there are scenes the movie explores more than the book and vice versa but I can't make up my mind just yet. I'm still up in the air about the Devil Wears Prada versus the book too. Have you guys read and seen both books and movies? What do you think?

  • I don't usually get political on here because I'm not really a political person. But it's almost impossible to not be interested in this year's election and what have you. And on that note I just wanted to share the link to Michelle Obama's speech at the Democratic Convention because seriously if she was to become First Lady, I think I'd be okay with that. Great speech Michelle!

And that's all I got today folks. Anythig else happenin I missed in the Hollywoodsphere?

happy wednesday!

LOVE Josh Jackson! Also, wish I would have read the Notebook before I saw the movie. I can't read books after I already watched the movie, but you have me intrigued on what was more explored in the movie...hmmm maybe I'll attempt it :)

Dude. I never should've clicked that Heidi video. Worst video evvver!

I always like books over movies becasue you get to visualize a lot for yourself - ther are no preconceived images....and Heidi is just, well, wrong...

Ah. Joshua Jackson.
Swoooon. I saw the cute!

I love Gwen and Gavin.
And of course Kingston...
and of course their new
little tyke, Zuma.

Ew. Heidi.

LOVE Whitney.

Greek...missed it...must
watch it. Holla. I'm sure
it was amazing.

I heart Dancing with The Stars...
and I anticipate a good
competition this year! HOOT HOOT!

The Notebook...I LOVED
the book...but I also LOVED
the movie. Not to mention...
I loved the cast. EXCEPT...I
hate. hate. hate. hate. who they
chose for old Allie. Gena Rowlands
just did not fit the part.
Allie was so cute and tiny
and sweet...and um...played
by Rachel McAdamas. And then
Gena Rowlands is kind of
hard looking and raspy voiced.
It is the one thing that BURSTS
my bubble about the movie. PSH!

The Devil Wears Prada?
I liked the movie better.
Hands down. The book was
cute...enjoyable...but the
movie better, for sure.

I haven't read The Notebook, but I loved the movie. I think it's still in my top 5. As for The Devil Wears Prada? I can't decide. I liked the story better in the book, but the movie was so fun because of all of the fashion.

Joshua Jackson mmmhmmmm.
Jenna Jameson ummm speechless.
Misty May-Treanor yay. I wonder if she will be pregnant during the season. hmmm?
Hayden Panitierre is freakin' cute.
The Notebook - I'm pretty torn too. The book was so good and the movie too. They both have their good qualities.
Katelin - Fabulous!

Next year PLEASE post pictures of yourself in a birthday hat like that. That would be awesome.

I'm really not liking the name Zuma. It reminds me of both zooom (the noise cars make, obviously) and zoomanity, the cirque show. Zuma. How strange.

I read the book and saw "The Devil Wears Prada." I gotta be honest with you--I didn't like either one. It's a cute story, yeah, but kind of shallow for me. But if I had to pick one, the book was better.

Ugh. When Lil Wayne and T-Pain use the digital voice, it sounds good. When Heidi uses it, it can't mask the fact that she is completely talentless and can't sing. I think I made it through 2-3 minutes of it because I wanted to see if anything interesting happened. Nope. Nothing.

In a lot of cases for book vs. movie, I usually like whichever one I read/saw first. For The Notebook and Devil Wears Prada, I like the books better because they go into more detail. But I still love The Notebook movie because, hello, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling are so cute together.

Oh, that reminds me of something you missed. Rachel and Ryan are back together. Wait for it... 1... 2... 3... "awwwwwwww."

I love Gwen and Gavin - but Zuma? Really?

For books:

Notebook - movie better than book
Devil Wears Prada - book better than movie
Nanny Diaries - kinda torn... but I think the book was better

I must have been in a pain fog when they announced Gwen Stefani named her kid Zuma.

What an idiot.

Ok, so obviously I hate Speidi like the rest of the world, as well as her horrible videos -- but for some reason I actually think that song is kinda catchy! omg. CRAZY. And I don't even like that kind of music. And yeah, it's totally crazy that Laureen makes $75,000 an episode! Madness.

i so love your hollywood updates.

i don't think i've ever read a book AFTER seeing the movie, so i've always ended up liking the books better because it's what i've read/seen first. there's generally so much more depth to them.

and misty may is totally the reason i'll be watching dancing with the stars. just as mel b was. i completely ADORE her.

I still can't believe that The Hills stars make that much $!!! I wish I had thier life...

I am a huge Gwen Stefani fan! I went to her concert a year ago and it was amazing. I have to admit though, part of her son's name sounds like a town in California or something--Zuma Nesta. Zuma Nesta, CA--sounds like it would work!

Julie said...

I don't think that I have EVER heard Glorious and Zima used together in the same sentence.

Maxie said...

I somehow missed both the hills and greek too! this is getting a little ridiculous!

Zuma? Like.. the beach?

What's wrong with celebrities!

You really didn't miss much on The Hills... it was very low key this week! Did you know you can watch the full episodes on the MTV website?

And I was contemplating deleting American Idol from my fall lineup, but now I'm curious about this judge, so I may give it a few weeks to reel me back in. So, I suppose their ratings plan worked then!!

I read The Notebook before I saw the movie and I loved the book!, but also thought that the movie was REALLY WELL DONE.
So, I love both! :)

Oh, and I love Josh Jackson as well. Hot!

All I wanna do is a zoom zoom zoom and a boom boom...Just shake you're rump!

That's was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the name of Gwen and Gavin's baby.

poor kid. It's worse than Apple.

Jenny H. said...

ummm why do the hills starts get paid so much?

thats ridiculous. seriously.

I am such a hardcore book-before-the-movie person I will refuse to see a movie until I've read the book. But that's generally because you can imagine whatever you want from books, but once you've seen the movie it's hard to get those characters/faces etc. out of your head.

Then again I did see the Notebook before I read it and I think I liked the movie better... It may just be a matter of whatever you see/read first.

Funny you should mention the book vs movie issue with Devil Wears Prada. I always liked the book better but then I repeatedly watched the movie on HBO for a couple of months, and the lines between the movie and the book blurred and I could no longer remember which was which. So, now, I think I have a combined movie/book version in my head that I guess works out well for me.

Okay I've never watched Dancing with the Stars before but now with TiVo I may have to start taping it. That lineup just sounds way too fun to miss out. Lacey was my favorite from Dancing with the Stars, and I love Misty May. When does it start??

Oh, I cried when I read the Notebook, what a story. ... and I was on the commuter train, no less!!

Josh Jackson is still smokin' hot. Meow. Hayden stole my birthday outfit too. I totally wore that to my party last weekend. Zuma, just doesn't work for me as a kids name. Plus with Nestea middle name just is awful to.
