I miss Twilight. Is that sad? Wait. Don't answer that.
But really, I do. As you can tell from reading my blog and among various posts, I obsess about things. I get addicted. I can't help it. But it's all good stuff like Twilight and Wicked and reading and Joshua Jackson and Lady Gaga's song "Poker Face" and head bands and OPI nail polish for starters.
But really I miss how excited I was to read Twilight. I don't remember the last time I looked forward to a story and anticipated what was going to happen next and how attached I was to the characters and how much I sort of wished vampires were real. Yeah, I miss that.
It was the weirdest obsession I've had in a long time and man I miss it. It's like I have a void. And reading Midnight Sun is only sort of helping. I may just have to reread Twilight or watch the movie every day for the next two weeks, haha.
Really I guess I just need a new obsession. Any suggestions for what I should obsess about next?
happy thursday!

TV on DVD...when I need an obsession I pick a new show and watch it from beginning to end.
lololol does that photo say 'twilighters annonymous' in the bottom corner? that just makes me crack up! lol
sorry - no good suggestions - i'll think and come back later (but maxie's is good...i've been thinking about doing that...)
hey! what about the shopaholic series? not quite as intense but fun none-the-less...
oh! or the kyra davis series of books? i really enjoyed those. they are funny! the first book is called: Sex, Murder, and a Double Latte...the 2nd is called Passion, Betrayal and Killer Highlights...and the 3rd is Obsession, Deceit and Really Dark Chocolate.
:)
How about the new fast&furious? How about that really hot guy from Privileged? :P Brian Hallisay is my newwww obsession.
Oh my gosh...I miss the whole Twilight thing, too. For real.
I miss flying through one book and
anticipating the next one. It was
such an awesome feeling.
I love obsessions.
I'm slowly weening myself off Twilight. I think. The vampires aren't as sexy and shimmery, but the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris is pretty good. I think there are eight or nine of them now and they are QUICK reads (with lots of steamy scenes). If you lived in Ohio, I would loan them to you...hint hint.
im with maxie... pick a show you have been wanting to see, and get it on DVD.
or, start getting netflix??
I totally understand. I've had FAR too many obsessions, from NSYNC to Gilmore Girls to The Office. I'm going to have to go with Maxie on this one and say TV on DVD. Have you watched all of "The West Wing" or "Lost," because if you haven't, they would make excellent obsessions.
I can totally relate to this post. I tend to obsess over things too. I think with Twilight it was the feeling that you get while you are reading it that makes it so hard to move on from them.
What about planning a trip (even if it is something in the future). I tend to obsess over my travel plans.
I love the idea of starting a new show on dvd. I've heard great things about Mad Men. What about Buffy? I know people have been obsessive about that series and since it is vampires it might fill the Twi-void. There's always Harry Potter if you haven't read them (I haven't).
I have to admit, I got bored with the 3rd book and haven't started reading the 4th yet!
i'm still reading them and I LOVE them!!! can't wait to move on to the next!!
I'm with you my friend. I look for new Twilight news almost daily. I downloaded the entire series playlist off Stephanie Meyer's website yesterday. Sad I know. There really is just something addicting about it.
I HEAR YOU! feel so silly being obsessed w twilight at 26, but its true.
Mad Men! You need to obsess over Mad Men!
If you watch Mad Men, I will watch HIMYM. :)
J$
I LOVE THEM TOO. I am re-reading and each time I learn something different!!!
When you find your new obsession, tell me!!
I do the same thing! Twilight was a huge obsession and now that the DVD is out and I have watched all extra footage what's a girl to do?
I agree - the Sookie Stackhouse books are awesome and addicting (and sexy to boot)!
