So I was going to break it down by cities but I figured that might get boring so I'm starting off with one of my favorite parts of our honeymoon, THE FOOD. I mean yes of course I loved the romance of the country and the wine and being with my husband and the history but holy crap people THE FOOD. It can't really be described so instead I figured I'd share some pictures of some of our favorite meals because HELLO THE FOOD (do you get my point?).
So have a napkin ready, you might drool a bit (I mean I know I will and I was the one who freaking ate this stuff!)
Matt's meal on the left:
pork escalope and spaghetti, interesting.
Mine on the right:
Hands down my fave meal of our honeymoon,
cheese pizza with white asparagus and a fried egg.
pure heaven.

spinach risotto, holy crap was it delicious.
SIX cheese pizza? SIX different
kinds of cheese?? yes freaking please.

we had gelatto every single night. mmmmmm.
My meal on the left:
cauliflower penne pasta
Matt's meal on the right:
a ginormous calzone.
My meal up top:
LASAGNA, yummmm.
Matt's meal on bottom:
oh cheesy cheesy penne.
Hungry? Because I am.
Also, I really hope that I don't get a whole bunch of spammers and weird searches now because I said 'porn', haha. Then again that would be interesting and probably disappointing to them when it's just a bunch of yummy food.
But really, back to THE FOOD, it was magical, like an orgasm in my mouth (yep apparently I am asking for the spammers today, haha). I don't think I've ever enjoyed food as much as I did on our honeymoon and I cannot wait to go back one day.

Katelin, I'm pretty sure my pregnancy cravings have been all about the Italian food. and this blog post did not help. I would make your pictures my animated screensaver today!!! Seriously, every single thing looks scrumptious- oh, and you're in ITALY when eating it. salut!
Oh goodness, I couldn't possibly narrow down the best food I've had, but Italy was definitely VERY high on the list! I lived on nothing but bread, pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella, gelato and tiramisu while we were there ;)
All of that food looks fantastic,,, makes me want to go get italian,, but scared it won't look as good as any of that, LOL

I do have to say the best food ever was in Italy. I had this risotto in Bolzano that I still dream about.
That said, Australia has the WORST FOOD I have ever had on vacation. But the men were so hot, it made up for it :)
I can't even. I mean, can I just book a trip to Italy that leaves now? I'm pretty sure that's a necessity in my life!

I am starving now. Some of the best food I've ever had was in Italy. My husband studied abroad in Rome and he took home a home made sauce recipe- we actually made it last night!
