So did I mention that I'm in Seattle right now? I didn't? My bad. Well, I'm in Seattle!
I love Seattle.
I first went to Seattle on a class trip in high school where we visited Olympic national park and stayed in cabins and skipped rocks on the lake and did day hikes and it was all green and glorious and pretty and I think it rained maybe half a day, out of a whole freaking week. The second time I went to Seattle was when my mom and I spent seven days checking out fourteen colleges between Seattle and Portland (to say it was a little nuts was an understatement). And the whole week we were checking out schools...freaking gorgeous weather again, not a single day of rain! So when application time came I actually only applied to two of those fourteen schools because I had to keep reminding myself that one of the schools had underground tunnels because it rained so much (and ohmygod that scared the bejeebus out of me) and I don't like rain, I'm much rather endure snow (hello Ohio).
So basically Seattle has spoiled me. And according to weather.com I'm about to get spoiled again with 63 degree weather, sunshine and a 0% chance of rain. Now hopefully I'm not jinxing myself or anything but three trips to Seattle with only like 3% rain ever is sort of a miracle right? I think Seattle loves me. And that's quite alright because I love Seattle too (I mean hello, Grey's Anatomy takes place there, how could I not love it!??! I kid, I loved it before Seattle Grace took over).
And why am I in Seattle? Because I'm hanging out with Justine and some other fabulous Brand About Town people to share my love of Style Savvy (no really, I'm obsessed. Matt will vouch for this. And so will Julie since 75% of our conversations are discussing this game) with some young ladies from Powerful Voices. Awesome right? Basically I'm quite excited to be back in Seattle and to be doing something I love.
Any fun plans for you this weekend? Are you a Style Savvy fan as well? Then we should be friends, haha.
happy weekend!

I've always wanted to go to seattle just for the coffee. Besides it being the birthplace of Starbucks, I've heard that there are great coffeehouses to visit in the city.
Have fun in Seattle!!
I've never been to Seattle, but want to go!
I love how you visited 14 schools there and then went to Ohio :)
Happy weekend!
How fun that you are hanging out with Brand About Town & Justine! I'm a little bit jealous. I love Seattle even though I've never, ever been there... is that odd!? Maybe, but oh well.
Have a great time!
Ooooh, I love me some Seattle. Its such a great city. : ) Have a fab time, and wander about Pikes Place for me!!! ; )
Well, it's suppose to rain on Sunday...probably just as you leave. Thanks for bringing the sunny weather for this weekend!
Sounds like so much fun and for a great reason. Have a blast and say hi to Justine for me!
I've never been to that place. If there would be a chance I plan to. The photo you shared really makes me want to visit the place and think I should visit and sip some coffee lol! Take care and have fun!
Wow, you are indeed crazy lucky!! Seattle was like that for me too. The two times I visited before I moved, the weather was to die for. Then I moved to town and everything went to hell in a handbasket ;)
Have fun! Stop by Chukar Cherries if you go to the market :)
Awww! Have fun in Seattle! I've never been but I think I would LOVE it.

I've wanted to go to Seattle for a long time! I hope you had fun. And if you see McDreamy, tell him to call me :) Yay for drunk texting
it is so wonderful to see this amazing city, I really think is one of my favorites cities to stay and enjoy its mountains and weather.
