Say Cheese.

Hi my name is Katelin and I'm a cheeseaholic.

It's been four days since I last had cheese and I'm surprisingly okay with that.

Remember my "cheese free week" plan? Yeah well I've actually kept to it. I've even turned down mid week glasses of wine, said no to sweets (not counting the popcorn I had, because giving up cheese AND popcorn is just plain cruel). Last night was definitely my biggest test with cheese as I went to a Mexican restaurant with my family for my dad's birthday. Now if you didn't know, I freaking love enchiladas and rice and beans. So getting tacos and then asking for beans without cheese was quite the accomplishment for me. My dad and brothers looked at me like I was a crazy person (well I admit, I was sort of acting out of character) until I explained what my plan was, which is still kind of crazy.

But sadly I still have yet to get up early and work out on the Wii Fit or go walking with my mom because of all of the smoke in the air. So I give myself a big fat fail for that. At least on Saturday I'll be getting my bridesmaid dress, which is the ultimate motivation to stare me down every day for a month, haha.

However, it's not helpful when all I can think about eating is Nicole's baked mac and cheese, haha. (yes Nicole that means you need to come back to Cali and make me some okay? Sweet, thanks, haha).

Anything you're giving up or cutting back on lately?

happy thursday!

Fried food. It just started on Sunday night but so far so good. And I very rarely have a beer, glass of wine or other drink.

Now to give up chocolate. I think i will tackle that next week.

I'm so impressed. i'm a cheese freak so kudos to you =)

I'm attempting to eat healthier too. Although it's not going so well seeing as how I ate cheesecake and french fries yesterday. All in moderation, though, right? :)

Good luck on the rest of you cheese-free week!

This makes me really want cheese. Are you seeing/feeling any healthy changes because of this? I'm intrigued...

I'm proud of you!

It's rough, cheese is so wonderful.

I've had to give up spending frivolous money...but it's been so worth it. Someday....someday.

oh cheese. Food of the gods. LOL!
I could live on cheese and potatoes. Seriously. Those two foods could take me a lonnnnng way in life...and prob a long way in terms of obesity too but THAT'S okay. ;)

I've recently decided to become a Pescatarian! I'm actually really excited about it as it's been something I've felt I'm supposed to do for a long time but hadn't found the courage to take the leap!
I'm just hoping I'm able to succeed and not fail in this new lifestyle :)

Mmmm Nicole's baked mac and cheese!! Content sigh.

Do you feel healthier? I always feel much lighter and more energetic when I don't eat meat. But I don't think I could give up cheese.

good for you! if faced with Mexican food without cheese, I would have caved.

I need to give up men! Is there a diet for that. I surely think if I went to a Mexican restaurant and didn't stare at all the taned skin, my dad and brother would think I was crazy too. does that count? And will Nicole's baked mac and cheese save me? ;-)

Wow you went to a Mexican restaurant and still went without cheese? Isn't that like a free pass??? I give you lots of credit, I couldn't do it )

I'm pretty sure you have the same taste buds me. People think I'm weird b/c I consider cheese my favorite food. Good job on cutting back! I could NEVER go into a Mexican restaurant and not order loads of cheese!

As for me, I'm trying to cut back on redbull. It's horribel stuff and I drink entirely too much of it.

Cheese is, hands down, my favorite food. I'm absolutely in love with cheese in every form it comes in. I'm so impressed that you are cutting back...I really should, but I just can't bring myself to do it!
