Itty Bitty Hollywood day.

So, a Hollywood post you say? Well since it's a busy ridiculous week it's going to be short and sweet. Here we go:

• Ohemfreakinggee the cuteness people, the cuteness! It's been a while since we've seen Garcelle Bea.. (I'm too lazy to figure out how to actually spell her name right now) and her adorable twins Jax and Jaid. • In other news, the Kardashians know how to make a badass Christmas card, no really I sort of want to rock Khloe's dress....a female fan got to know Lady Gaga quite well over the weekend...the Spiderman musical continues down the cursed road of what the eff, I mean yikes, I hope the guy is okay!...Shania Twain is engaged and it's all sorts of weird wife swapness....and lastly Snoop would like to wish you a G like Christmas.
  
  
• In some favoriteness....
  Can you guess who this is? I mean YES. If you don't know just click on the pic for the answer, but I gotta say if you read my blog you've seen his mug enough times to guess. I'll give you a hint even: He's not American, that should help (not! Since like half of my favorite guys are from Canada or Australia, haha).

  Okay not really Twilight but more like Rob and more like THE TRAILER FOR WATER FOR ELEPHANTS!! Can you tell I'm excited? The last book I reviewed on my barely breathing review blog was WFE and holy crap I loved it, seriously LOVED it, one of my favorite books of the year. So this trailer. I still don't totally by Reese, Christoph I'm totally sold on and Rob, oh it's Rob and he looks dreamy and nonEdwardish. So yeah, my point here? Check out the trailer and then come to the movies with me on April 15th.
  
  
• In other movie news...
  So this movie Hanna. Have you heard of it? I hadn't until yesterday. But holy what the eff is going on - was basically what I said after watching the trailer. So brace yourselves and just watch.
  
  
• In some TV news...
  Dexter. So season 5 has ended and I've managed to not read anything about it except that Julia Stiles was in it. So um when is it coming out on DVD so I can watch it all in one weekend, because that's clearly how Dex is supposed to be watched?
  
  
• Lastly in today's WTF news we learn that just because you are a prince doesn't you're smart.. as in you can accidentally glue your eye shut, seriously it's ridiculous.

Hollywood: Reunions, Splits and Swoons.

So I had every intention for having a Hollywood post up yesterday but then Matt and I decided to start the thank you/holiday card writing and I was pretty sure my hand was going to fall off by the end of it and writing a blog post just wasn't in the cards. Anyhoo there was plenty of Hollywoodness to share so share it I will, and go:

• Starting off this week's cuteness we have a Dawson's Creek reunion! Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips went on a stroll with their daughters and the cuteness is just loverly.

• Also bringing some major cuteness, little Louis Bullock. Ohmygod this kid's pout kills me. And the santa hat? Lurve it.

• In other bebe news, Paul Bettanyy and Jennifer Connely are expecting another kiddo, congrats!...and um yes I know my favoritest family was out and about and being uber cute but I had to give some limelight to the other cutie kids out there, but anyhoo, Jen and the girls: PRECIOUS...In not so baby news, this was the week for splits apparently (yikes!): Zefron and Vanessa Hudgens split, Dex...er Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter filed for divorce and rumor has it Ryan Reynolds and ScarJo are calling it quits too. Man, that is just rough, especially around the holidays....
  However, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden did just the opposite and got hitched last weekend in a super private ceremony (although there was an elephant?) and apparently the pictures are being shopped around, I can only imagine....
  moving on, Jillian is leaving the Biggest Loser (adios!)...despite multiple denials, turns out Bea Arthur was in the marines (crazy pants!)...and check out 14 actors acting, it's weird and bizarre but I'm also very intrigued....
  
  
• In some favoriteness...
  Ryan Gosling was interviewing by MTV and was asked to read some of the pictures on fuckyeahryangosling and basically he's adorable and yes. Watch this video and your day will be made.

• And in some music news...
  Monday night I had the pleasure of interviewing the band Neon Trees. Seriously they were such a fun and lively group (just as I imagined) and it was a pretty laid back and fun interview, which is always great. You can check out the whole thirty minute interview here.
  
  
• In some TV news...
  Desperate Housewives. I mean, what the what? Sunday's episode was just nuts. *spoiler alert, spoiler* basically everyone had some ridiculous secret that was revealed, Paul got away with what he wanted until oh wait, someone shot him (no surprise) and on top of it Juanita found out about Gaby not being her real mom and then a freaking angry mob/stampede broke out and Susan was injured and Lee was hit in the head with a beer bottle or something and Mrs. McClusky was knocked over, I mean just wow, wow. What the eff was this? I can't decide if I liked the drama or if it was too overboard, the jury is still out. Nonetheless I'm curious to see where it goes from here in January.
  
  Top Model. It feels like the show just ended....wait. That's because it did. However, our next cycle of model wanabes is coming to our TVs just a mere two months away in February, hurrah! Let's hope they don't pick the awkward girl again, oh wait...we know they will. Damn you Tyra for sucking me into this show and it's predictable, fierce ways.
  
  SVU. I have to admit I was pretty bummed when JJ left Criminal Minds so I have to say how excited I was when I read that she'll be guest starring on one of my other favorite crime shows, SVU. I mean yes! The bad assery and cuteness (really do those even go together?) is just awesome.
  
  Glee. *spoiler, spoiler* I mean yes, there were actual tears. Matt was trying not to laugh at me as I had tears streaming from my face as Artie walked. It was so sweet and touching and so corny but I could not stop. Brittany's reaction and Artie's attitude and just...gah I'm tearing up just writing this, I am such a sap. But really, Sue as the Grinch? Priceless. "Baby it's Cold Outside" a la Kurt and Blaine, adorable. Coach Beist as Santa? Amazing and touching and more tears, ah, stop it! She GAVE ARTIE THE WALKING MACHINE and then I cried some more. Also, I need these Christmas songs in my collection stat. So um is it February yet?
  
  
• Lastly in today's WTF news we have Bailey the beer drinking, car riding buffalo. Seriously.

Why yes I'm sharing some Hollywood news on a Tuesday, wahoo! So here we go:

• Starting off this week's cuteness is my oh so favorite family of Hollywood ( (I mean I know I shared them last week but HELLO they are my favorites), the Garner ladies. Seriously Seraphina is just all sorts of cute and belated birthday girl Violet just looks adorable as always. Seriously heart them all.

Even if I'm not a fan of her new blonde do, she's still charming...another blonde making headlines, Taylor Swift and her latest guy, Jake Gylenhaal are getting coffee all over town (it's adorable becasue she's only 20, well for another week at least)...in other news, Josh Duhamel and Kevin Smith are not having any luck flying this week...and lastly Willow Smith will be whipping her hair New Year's Eve on Dick Clark's show. I mean what? She's only 10! How accomplished do you feel right now? Haha.

  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I. Oh. Man. This movie was amazing. So dark and twisty (Grey's reference for two points) and I actually jumped a few times.

  Top Model. Spoiler alert, spoiler alert. Okay not really, we all knew it'd be freaking Ann for the beginning. Freaking Tyra LOVES the awkward girls, no really she does. I could be a judge and just say I love the awkward girl and her crazy eyes and slouchy walk and monotone voice and I'd be right every time. Gah. Clearly you can tell, I was not a fan of this pick. I wasn't really a Chelsea fan either, I was rooting for Kayla actually and I was so bummed she didn't make it, girl was fierce (even if she had sort of an annoying voice as well, details, details). Anyways, maybe next season there will actually be a winner (heck a top two) I like. And for the giffarific recap, check out Four Four.
  
  Grey's Anatomy. Spoiler, spoiler. Arizona is back? Cristina is better...ish? (freaking finally). Teddy's going to marry Jennifer Garner's ex? I mean what? Okay I give it to you Shonda, you're getting creative but I miss the twisted sisters so please let's resolve that issue next year. Also, another shooting coming up!?! I mean NO. Stop it. New plot line please. Thank you. Love, a loyal fan.
  
  Glee. A tie? At regionals? I mean of course they did. And um Ms. Pilsbury is married? And Rachel and Finn broke up? What the what? Eh, just give me some Christmas music tonight and I should be okay. Thanks.
  
  How I Met Your Mother. Aw we finally see a pregnant Lily? Even if it was a look to the future and a ridiculous story with Barney. And would it be bold of me to say that Zoe could be the mother? I mean what if she was Rachel Bilson's roommate before she married the Captain? I mean, it's possible right? Maybe? I just know we NEED TO MEET THE MOTHER soon please.
  
  The Soup. Joel McHale has signed on for two more years to the Soup, huzzah!!

Some Hollywood reactions.

So clearly I didn't post a Hollywood post yesterday (for shame!) and it's really because being gone most of a week makes it nearly impossible to stock up for a post and write all about it and just yeah, it wasn't easy. And then having so much to do Monday night made it impossible to write something, so yeah I apologize, I know you reallllly wanted your Hollywood scoop. And to make up for it, I'm taking a new approach at Hollywood today by simply sharing some of the biggest stories of the week and my reaction to them, because clearly that's what awesome people do (and ridiculous people). So, here we go:

The Garner/Affleck family out and about. Really not a story but rather just a excuse for me to share the cutest family in Hollywood (I mean seriously, it's hard to top their cuteness). And they're all together, doesn't that just make you say "awwwwwwwww"?

Ann Hathaway and James Franco are hosting the Oscars. UM. Excuse me? I mean I know Hugh was busy (seriously I could watch him host any time) but really, that's who you came up with? No offense to Ann or James but really? Really!? I get you want to target the younger crowd but why not Tina Fey or Neil Patrick Harris, they'd both be awesome and they're funny without really even trying. And what if James is nominated next year? That's just awkward. Anyways I guess I can't judge just yet, but hey Academy if you're looking for hosts for 2012 I'll totally try out for the job.

Spider Man the musical sells a million dollars in presale. Yes because when I first think of Spider Man I think MUSICAL! Don't get me wrong, I love a good musical but I really have no desire whatsoever to check out this production, maybe if it was Batman and Christian Bale was the lead, just maybe then.

Eclipse comes out on DVD Friday at midnight. First of all, YES. The Twinerd in me is way to excited to watch this movie again. But the old person in me is like "what the eff? why a midnight release of a DVD?? I am not fighting crazy tweens for my copy at Target."

Glee - Furt. I'm a week behind, but I sort of loved Sue. Her dress, standing up to her mom, protecting her sister, sort of standing up for Kurt. It was just a mushfest and I liked it (well most of it). But um Kurt leaving? Not so cool, not at all. What is that saying about bullying? Leave? Run away? Tell everyone what really happened Kurt! Please!? I mean yes it's hard and I get it (and I know this isn't real life) but you just can't leave.

Johnny Depp in Vanity Fair. Not much to share their either except his interview is pretty interesting since he's such a private person. Also, he's swoony in that "maybe he's dirty, maybe he's really tan, brooding, mysterious, crazy" sort of way.

And that my friend's is a bit of Hollywood with a dash of reflection, schnazzy pants. So anything else big I might have missed? Let me know!

She welcomed a daughter, Eve Augusta last week, congrats!...in other bebe news, check out PopSugar's gallery of celeb families and couples and just celebs in general that got into the Halloween spirit...Zach Galifinakis decided to light it up on Bill Maher's show, he is truly ridiculous...Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent were spotted leaving lunch together, seriously what an odd pair...also an odd maybe couple - Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe, hmmmm....need a wedding singer? Apparently Nick Lachey is up for the job after singing at a wedding over the weekend...Demi Lovato has checked herself into a treatment center, I gotta say good for her to take care of herself before something bad happened (a la La Lohan or Britt Britt)...and hello Paul Walker! Seriously the man must drinking the same stuff Leo is, the guys never age:

  It's been almost a year since I interviewed the cast of New Moon and basically had the most ridiculously surreal day of my life. I mean a year, how insane is that? And clearly I don't have anything new to share about Twilight so how about a Rob picture!

• In movie news...
  Now don't get me wrong I admitted to liking Avatar (and hello Sam Worthington) but really a second and a third movie in the making?? Is that really necessary James Cameron? I mean really.
  
  The third Batman movie officially has a title, The Dark Knight Rises. And the Riddler is not the villain. And that's all we've got. And sadly these small facts have me waaay too freaking excited, haha.
  
  
• In TV news...
  Grey's Anatomy. How about we never do a documentary type episode again okay? Thanks. It was pretty horrible and annoying to watch. And um Arizona and Callie are moving to Africa? Say what? And it was so not necessary to kill Mandy Moore's character, that was just all sorts of sad and I was not a fan. So how about this week we have a better episode okay Shonda? Thanks.
  
  Desperate Housewives. But I don't want Mike to leaaaave. And how come no one has said anything about Gaby's niece or Tom's daughter? The mystery kids of the show I swear. And speaking of Tom I'm glad he shut it because he just gets so damn annoying sometimes. And Bree and Keith are pretty dang adorable, I am a fan.
  
  How I Met Your Mother. Robin's commercial, priceless. But what's even better and has nothing to do with last night's episode...THE RETURN OF ROBIN SPARKLES! Ohmygod I'm so excited for the November 15th episode where Robin's Canadian pop star alter ego returns.
  
  Project Runway. What. The. Eff. I didn't even get to watch the finale but I couldn't even bring myself to after I heard about the winner. REALLY? REALLY? Ugh. Ridiculous.
  
  
• Lastly in today's WTFness we have Jersey Shore Jr. I mean yes it's hilarious and it's cute but it's also a big pile of WTF what is happenin to the children!?! But yes I laughed and then I cringed but still laughed because ohmygodrealityshowsaretakingovertheworld.
  
  
  
  let's just hope they don't fake tan too, haha.

Oh Hollywood how I have missed you! I mean seriously I was getting the shakes my withdrawal was getting bad and I know my dear freaders missed knowing what ridiculousness had been happening in the past month and a half as well. Seriously though Neil Patrick Harris and his partner are now dads to twins, congrats!...also new to the parents club, Alicia Keys and hubby Swizz Beats, they welcomed son Egypt (no comment) last week...in some not as fun news two major splits hit Hollywood last week, Courteney Cox and David Arquette and Christina Aguilera and Jason Bratman, let's just hope they all keep it civil since there are youngins involved...and in case you cared, despite saving a potential jumper's life last week T.I. is headed back to jail for another 11 months (basically stop effing up buddy)...Johnny Depp is a rockstar in case you didn't know, well more like a pirate star and this story just made my heart melt with the cuteness...all sorts of stars showed up for the Scream Awards over the weekend and yeah, nothing really else to say about that, haha...lastly and Michelle Williams decided to change up her hair quite a bit (going for the Agyness Deyn look I think) and I gotta say, I'm sort of a fan:

  Let's just say this is the most awesome news of EVER. NEWSIES IS BEING BROUGHT TO THE STAGE FOR REALS. Yes I tweeted this awhile ago and yes I am still that excited about it.   Breaking Dawn is about to start filming. Holy crap this movie is actually being made. I mean of course it was going to be made they weren't going to stop but after reading it I'm afraid, I really am. Nonetheless there have been some major casting announcements and looks like Louisiana is going to be hoppin with vampires and werewolves soon, oh boy.

  So I tweeted this a while back but Dead Man's Bones (aka Ryan Gosling's two man band) filmed a music video at my great aunt's nursing home and only recently did they release the video/mini movie. It's long but check it out anyways and my great aunt is in it at the two minute mark and a couple times after that, so schnazzy.
  
  "Whip My Hair". I mean what? Am I actually pointing you to this video? Yes, yes I am. Willow Smith is TEN and has a video and a catchy song and damn you Ben for ever linking to this.
  
  Also uber catchy, P!NK's new song "Raise Your Glass" and I realize how much I really like her music.
  
  
• In TV news...
  The Big Bang Theory. ZAZZY! That's all.
  
  Dexter. I'm finally on season 4 you guys and you weren't kidding when you said it was good. Seriously I have screamed no less than 5 times and said "ooooooh" more times than I can count (it's a good thing I watch this show by myself).
  
  Top Model. Do you have a favorite? I mean besides Tyra's ego because clearly she's the best, haha. But um I can't decide who I like besides the fact that I want to throw something every time Ann wins best picture because you know she's going to have a HORRIBLE Cover Girl commercial shoot (I'm putting bets on it now) so umm yes, better recaps are here of course.
  
  Glee. Um no PUCK? I think this has to be a lie. Yes it must. But still, this show still makes my musical loving heart happy. And I'm sort of excited for the Rocky Horror Picture Show episode (although I've never seen it, for shame I know).
  
  Criminal Minds. It really isn't the same without JJ and I love Garcia and I forget how much this show creeps me out and I love it at the same time, it's a little ridiculous.
  
  Grey's Anatomy. Okay I'm ready for Cristina Yang to be Cristina Yang again and Sloane and Lexie need to hook on up again already and Meredith is sort of likeable which I appreciate and Bailey is amazing and SHIRTLESS AVERY? YES PLEASE (I mean what?).
  
  The Mentalist. PATRICK JANE is amazing and a smart ass and has excellent hair. For those reasons you should also be watching this show, haha.

• Lastly in today's WTF news did you know that the Simpson family is Catholic? Yes the animated yellow family that's full of ridiculous has officially been declared Catholic from the head honchos over at the Vatican. I mean, what??

A Hollywood send off.

Well it's my last Hollywood post for a while so I better make it a good one right? And man I don't even know how I'll function not knowing what's going on in the Hollywood world! I mean what if Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger get married? Or Lindsay Lohan gets an emmy? Or Keanu Reeves stops by my office? So many things can happen in two weeks. But alas I'll be getting all married like and gallivanting in Italy so I can't really complain, I'll just have to be surprised when I get back. Anyhoozits, here we go!

  SAM WORTHINGTON. Oh wait did I write that in all caps? Why yes, yes I did, SAM gets caps. Anyhoozits, my fellow Hollywood lover Julie was on the lookout for me and tweeted this gem last week. This gem combining two of my favorite things Vampires and SAM. Basically SAM has signed on to play a young Dracula (as well as filming a sequel to Clash of the Titans) and that sounds pretty schnazzy to me. DJ Paul Rudd is right for you, well he mainly does bat mitzfahs...in case you were curious, Bill Cosby is in fact alive (stupid Twitter had me worrying!)...Charlie Sheen has avoided jail time and is instead checking into rehab (isn't that where every celeb goes when they screw up?)...and speaking of jail time, Lindsay Lohan has escaped! Well not really but wouldn't that be awesome.   Breaking Dawn Part II has a release date...November 16, 2012. I still don' t know how I feel about this last movie because the book was just whacked out. But knowing me I'll see it but still, oye.
  
  Rob is looking quite hot in Georgia, I mean really, why don't guys dress like this any more?! / I cannot wait for this movie (Water for Elephants) to be done and in theaters.
  
  Ashley Greene was at an event raising awareness for Ovarian Cancer over the weekend and she looked so cute and summery and I just want to be her friend.

• In TV news...
  Dexter. So I finished season 2 and man, so good. I did not see that ending coming and I am a fan. Also love how they finally work the intro into an episode. But yeah I am hooked, but now I have to cut myself off until after the wedding. But oooh love it.
  
  Project Runway. New season, new people, new challenges and I am a fan yet again. Although why the eff would they keep Casanova (I mean the name alone makes me want to slap him)? And yeah they definitely kept some people I thought should have gone but I totally agreed with the winner's black dress and man it was just chic and loved it and pretty much hope this is a good season.
  Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. I happened to catch an episode over the weekend and Scott totally freaks me out. Baby Mason, adorable and Kim lay off all that makeup. But yeah Scott, take a step back from being so douchey okay? Thanks.
  
  The Bachelorette. I guess someone named Ali chose someone named Berto and now they're getting married in the Spring? My money is on them breaking up in time for November sweeps and her getting another show.
  
  
• Lastly in today's WTF news we have Lilo's biggest fan. Seriously WTF is up with this creeper?? Seriously dude go home and take a cold shower please *shudder*

Why hello there Hollywood Tuesday, how are you today? Fine? Yes I thought so.

• In other bebe news Liam McDermott, Tori Spelling's three year old son, has a twitter account, and it's sort of ridiculous and sort of cute...also in bebe news, Vince Vaughn and his wife are expecting a little one and I really hope he says "earmuffs" when it's born, haha...in non-baby news, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem got hitched in secret (seriously how does anyone in Hollywood do it?), congrats to them...also in secret, Jewel doing karaoke, seriously just watch the video it's awesome...the first images of Ryan Reynolds as the green lantern came out and I'm slightly intrigued...and apparently Jaden Smith is channeling Erykah Badu these days.
  
  
• In some favorites news...
  WE HAVE A SAM SIGHTING! Okay I sound creepy, but really. I had a Sam crush and then he went away and all I had was Avatar and Terminator and in neither of those movies does he stay fully human, haha.

• In movie news...
  One for the Money. So I am still bummed about Katherine Heigl playing Stephanie Plum but now we know who will be playing Lula! Sherri Sheppard. Hmmm. I'm not sure how I feel about this either. I guess I pictured Lula as being fuller and having more sass, hopefully Sherri can pull it off ( I'm assuming she's Lula otherwise she's just another prostitute, I'm not quite sure).
  
  And OHMYGOODNESS WE HAVE A RANGER. Apparently some of the cast is on Imdb and RANGER is cast. And it's this man, not too shabby. But um he definitely needs to bulk up a bit a la Taylor Lautner to hit Ranger status (also I'm a huge nerd right now).
  
  WAIT UP A SECOND WE HAVE A MORELLI TOO!?! Seriously how is Sherri Sheppard bigger news than the casting of the main guys!? I mean really Hollywood, come on now. Anyhoo apparently Jason O'Mara, Life on Mars alum, will be Morelli and I do not endorse this. I mean he doesn't even look Italian! Ah Hollywood how you hurt me.
  
  
• In TV news...
  The Hills. So I didn't watch the finale but I read Oh Hay, It's KK's review and that was all I needed. Well that and I watched the actual ending because it was just so dramatic, and yeah I thought it was fitting. And I saw some pics on PopSugar and yeah, pretty typical attendees minus the blondies I will not name but Lauren, as always looked loverly, heart her (heart her so much I actually just got her book from the library, for shame, I know, ridiculous).

  Dexter. As you know, I've watched too many episodes in a short amount of time and my goodness it's good. But I'm glad I waited to hop on the bandwagon so I didn't have to wait (I'm bad at waiting).
  
  
• Lastly in today's WTF news we have the trailer for the SyFy original movie Sharktopus, because um it's a movie about a shark/octopus hybrid and seriously who thinks up this shiz? And seriously Julia Roberts brother is in it and um, just wow.
