Hollywood is pregnant.

So I was totally going to write a Hollywood post yesterday but all I coudl think of was: BABIES! And then I got tired and figured I'd just save it for today. And guess what? Since I waited, there are more BABIES! Anyhoo, Hollywood time so here we go:
  • Bringing some major cuteness we have Ellen Pompeo and her daughter Stella. I mean yes, big slouchy hat and glasses for a baby? And that baby is mixed? All around cuteness win.

the adorableness is almost too much.

  • Also bringing too much cuteness for my ovaries to handle, the Madden-Richie family out for a stroll. Seriously Harlow is so big and cute (and wearing a tutu! I'm a sucker for tutus) and Sparrow, precious!

    the cute! cute!

  • In other baby news, my favorite little sister turned two! Happy Birthday Seraphina Affleck!

In more bebe news, everyone in Hollywood is pregnant! Okay not everyone but here's who has announced it in the past two weeks: Natalie Portman (she's also engaged), Victoria Beckham (oh please let it me a girl she can put baby high heels and black dresses and play Spice Girls for), Marion Cotillard, Owen Wilson's girlfriend, Tia Mowry (I know there's a Sister, Sister joke in there somewhere), Jewel, Jane Krakowski, and announced today: Kate Hudson.

And in some non-baby news: Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin split after eight years together (sad), Reese Witherspoon got engaged (congrats!), David Arquette went to rehab (no surprise there), Edward Furlong got arrested (even less of a surprise),

  • In some favoriteness...
Although I'm Team Pacey for life, I totally enjoyed seeing James Van Der Beek take over Funny or Die last week. In case you missed it, check out his site: JamesVanDerMemes.com and enjoy the awesome (tell them I sent you!).

Oh.My.Goodness.Swooooooooon. Let's all swoooooon together people. To who you ask? I mean to Ryan Gosling of course! Just when we thought he couldn't get more adorable he goes on Ellen and rides a stationary bike and wears a hooded footie! Gah! The cuteness! Just watch. And I dare you not to swoon.

    love it.

  • In today's Twilight news....
Maybe I should just call it the Rob news? Because again nothing Twilight related, rather new images from Water for Elephants (which actually made me squeal in theaters when I saw the preview before Black Swan, haha).

aw Rob and Rosie, is Kristen jealous?

well she must be jealous now.

  • In music news....
Britney Spears' new album is coming out March 15. Huzzah! I mean wait, what?

The Holiday. As I mentioned, my friend Courtney got me the score to The Holiday aka the bestest most beautiful score ever! I mean I only own a few scores because only so often do I feel like listening to music without words, but oh this album is one of them. I CANNOT STOP. And then it makes me want to watch the movie again and I have to refrain because HELLO THREE TIMES IN ONE MONTH is a little excessive and it's not holiday time anymore and just yes, I'm rambling. Point: LOVE THIS SCORE (AND CAPS ARE SO NECESSARY!)

  • And in TV news....
Wicked. Let's be clear here, the BOOK (which I detested) not the MUSICAL (that I adore) is being made into a mini series steered by Salma Hayek. I'm curious basically. Curious to see if I enjoy this adaptation more that the actual book or if I'm just as turned off by it. Nonetheless there is plenty of potential here.

How I Met Your Mother. First of all, spoiler alert central. Second of all, WHY!? Why did Marhsall's dad have to die?!?? I mean I knew the countdown was to something big and I knew Lily was going to get pregnant eventually (they've already showed it) but Marshall's dad? Just gah, punch to the stomach people, punch to the freaking stomach!

Grey's Anatomy. Okay. I admit. As dumb and annoyed as I was with another episode with a mass shooting, it was a good episode. AND WE GOT CRISTINA BACK (hurrah! hurrah!). But yeah some good issues brought up and everyone lived (apparently Shonda was in a good mood because I don't remember the last time that actually happened).

Greek. It's back, it's back! And um. Apparently Cappie is VanWilder, Rusty has a thing for Ashley, Casey is staying at CRU and ummm, yes I love this show.

Glee. Um. How do I say this gently? Um. I DON'T WANT A FREAKING BIEBER EPISODE. Okay there I said it. It was reported that there will be a Bieber themed episode happening with Sam starting a boy band. Just no. No thank you. Do not want. Return to sender.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have designer bangs. No really, have you ever wanted bangs and just couldn't wait long enough for your hair to grow? Well then Designer Bangs are just for you!

So anything I missed? More babies? Let me know!

happy wednesday!

Hollywood: Reunions, Splits and Swoons.

So I had every intention for having a Hollywood post up yesterday but then Matt and I decided to start the thank you/holiday card writing and I was pretty sure my hand was going to fall off by the end of it and writing a blog post just wasn't in the cards. Anyhoo there was plenty of Hollywoodness to share so share it I will, and go:
  • Starting off this week's cuteness we have a Dawson's Creek reunion! Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips went on a stroll with their daughters and the cuteness is just loverly.

all you need is little Suri and this would be DC magic!

  • Also bringing some major cuteness, little Louis Bullock. Ohmygod this kid's pout kills me. And the santa hat? Lurve it.

    just pure cuteness! cuteness!

  • In other bebe news, Paul Bettanyy and Jennifer Connely are expecting another kiddo, congrats!...and um yes I know my favoritest family was out and about and being uber cute but I had to give some limelight to the other cutie kids out there, but anyhoo, Jen and the girls: PRECIOUS...In not so baby news, this was the week for splits apparently (yikes!): Zefron and Vanessa Hudgens split, Dex...er Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter filed for divorce and rumor has it Ryan Reynolds and ScarJo are calling it quits too. Man, that is just rough, especially around the holidays....
However, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden did just the opposite and got hitched last weekend in a super private ceremony (although there was an elephant?) and apparently the pictures are being shopped around, I can only imagine....
moving on, Jillian is leaving the Biggest Loser (adios!)...despite multiple denials, turns out Bea Arthur was in the marines (crazy pants!)...and check out 14 actors acting, it's weird and bizarre but I'm also very intrigued....

  • In some favoriteness...
Ryan Gosling was interviewing by MTV and was asked to read some of the pictures on fuckyeahryangosling and basically he's adorable and yes. Watch this video and your day will be made.
And if that wasn't enough Ryan, check out his GQ cover and swoon away, swoooon away:

    swoooooooooooooooooon.

  • In some other favoriteness, Josh and Diane. Where have you been hiding you two lovebirds? And seriously, your cuteness? I lurve it.

    heart them.

  • In Twilight news...
Apparently Taylor Lautner is a Saints fan as he was in attendance and on the field of their last game. And um. Can this boy get any more adorable? I really don't think it's possible actually.

"oh hey, I use Crest to whiten that smile"

  • In movie news...
Thor. The trailer. I sort of really want to see this now.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The trailer. I'm still torn.

Transformers 3. The trailer. I don't get it.

Fast Five. The trailer. Paul Walker is still zexy, that's all that really matters here, my sister would agree.

Golden Globe nominations. Here's the full list of nominees. Clearly I have a lot of movie watching to do, yikes!

Also, need a refresher of what movies came out this year? This clip shows snippets of them all! So awesome for the movie lover nerds like myself.

  • And in some music news...
Monday night I had the pleasure of interviewing the band Neon Trees. Seriously they were such a fun and lively group (just as I imagined) and it was a pretty laid back and fun interview, which is always great. You can check out the whole thirty minute interview here.

  • In some TV news...
Desperate Housewives. I mean, what the what? Sunday's episode was just nuts. *spoiler alert, spoiler* basically everyone had some ridiculous secret that was revealed, Paul got away with what he wanted until oh wait, someone shot him (no surprise) and on top of it Juanita found out about Gaby not being her real mom and then a freaking angry mob/stampede broke out and Susan was injured and Lee was hit in the head with a beer bottle or something and Mrs. McClusky was knocked over, I mean just wow, wow. What the eff was this? I can't decide if I liked the drama or if it was too overboard, the jury is still out. Nonetheless I'm curious to see where it goes from here in January.

Top Model. It feels like the show just ended....wait. That's because it did. However, our next cycle of model wanabes is coming to our TVs just a mere two months away in February, hurrah! Let's hope they don't pick the awkward girl again, oh wait...we know they will. Damn you Tyra for sucking me into this show and it's predictable, fierce ways.

SVU. I have to admit I was pretty bummed when JJ left Criminal Minds so I have to say how excited I was when I read that she'll be guest starring on one of my other favorite crime shows, SVU. I mean yes! The bad assery and cuteness (really do those even go together?) is just awesome.

Glee. *spoiler, spoiler* I mean yes, there were actual tears. Matt was trying not to laugh at me as I had tears streaming from my face as Artie walked. It was so sweet and touching and so corny but I could not stop. Brittany's reaction and Artie's attitude and just...gah I'm tearing up just writing this, I am such a sap. But really, Sue as the Grinch? Priceless. "Baby it's Cold Outside" a la Kurt and Blaine, adorable. Coach Beist as Santa? Amazing and touching and more tears, ah, stop it! She GAVE ARTIE THE WALKING MACHINE and then I cried some more. Also, I need these Christmas songs in my collection stat. So um is it February yet?

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have Bailey the beer drinking, car riding buffalo. Seriously.

Anything big I missed?

happy wednesday!

It's a teenage dream in Hollywood.

So I'm all hopped up on Ricola and functioning on little sleep (damn you sickness) so this could be an interesting post, then again when is Hollywood not chock full of interesting. Anyhoo enough rambling, here we go:
  • Starting off this week's cuteness we have little Satyana Denisof with her parents Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof. I mean yeah it's from Halloween but still, the cuteness!!

    all sorts of cuteness
  • Also bringing some major cuteness is little August having some fun with his mom, my favorite TV cop (well besides Eliot) Mariska Hargitay. Seriously I can't believe he's four already and he looks so much like mom!

    so cute!

  • Continuing with the bebe talk, Baby Spice is expecting another baby! I mean yes that's adorable and cute and congrats to the growing family...more bebeness is taking over this month's issue of W with a spread with Katherine Heigl and Nahleigh and a very pregnant and very naked Miranda Kerr as well as a snippet with Madonna...Cirque Du Soleil announced that they are launching a new show: A MICHAEL JACKSON SHOW, yes please sign me up!... apparently India is having an owl shortage and it's all due to the love of Harry Potter, there should be a spell for that....in other HP news, apparently Voldemort and some death eaters took over Grand Central Station, how trippy would that be to see?...and rounding out the HP coverage, Emma Watson is on the cover of this month's Marie Claire and seriously I adore her and how normal she is and how very Twiggyesque her new hairdo is, check out more of the interview and pics here:

she is just so chic I love it.

  • In some favoritness...
Sam! We have a Sam sighting people! Now I'm not too fond of the hair business but it's for a movie role so I'll give him that, but helloooo Sam.

    why hellooo there.

NKOTB is going on tour again and this time with the Backstreet Boys. I mean talk about a teenage girl fantasy (errr teenage girls that are now my age and older, haha). I can't decide if I'm going to go yet but still, loving it.

So you know I'm a Craig David fan right? Well check out this band's cover of one of his best songs, "7 Days" it's pretty catchy.

  • In today's Twilight news...
The filming of Breaking Dawn has officially started! I mean I don't know why I added an exclamation point because I am still so skeptical about this story being turned into a movie. Anyways, some of the first shots of Kristen and Rob on set have emerged and I sort of adore her dress and the fact that her hair doesn't look horrible and fake (a la Eclipse) and just yes.

    presh! the married couple.

  • In movie news...
I totally forgot that Emma Stone is Skeeter in the movie adaptation of The Help and there are some new pics of her on set, I am so curious how this movie turns out.

  • In TV news...
Top Model. They're in ITALY! I might have actually teared up a bit when they were exploring Venice because all I could say was "WE WERE JUST THERE!" Other than that, I had to rewind to listen to Lisa's "I don't know where Milan is, is that like Mulan in Japan?" I mean what the eff?! She deserved to go home. And for a full gif filled recap, visit four four.

Glee. Um what was up with all the Beast fantasies? Creepy. However, not creepy the guys acapella singing "Teenage Dream", I was officially swooned (and yes that's a word). And the KISS, hello the KISS! Weeeeeird. I mean yeah it makes sense but wow, did not see that one coming. And hello where was Kurt's dad when he's going through a hard time? His dad is always there for him and I love it, I mean yeah I know he's recovering and all but still, I miss their relationship.

Grey's Anatomy. Cristina quit?! Um. Not allowed. Bring the old Cristina back like now. And Arizona is gone? I know she was pregnant in real life but three years in Africa? Yeah no thank you, let's fix that. And seriously Sloane and Lexie, heart them.

How I Met Your Mother. Aw Zoie has a heart, sort of. And Barney has a dad! And Robin and Barney were way too funny touching all of the artifacts at the museum, ridiculous.

The Mentalist. Finally, Lisbon gets some action, haha. And a bagillionaire at that. Other than that another ridiculously entertaining episode and Patrick was dashing per usual, woo.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news a woman went on Wheel of Fortune and solved a puzzle with ONE LETTER. ONE LETTER and this woman solved it and my goodness what a lucky/smart/crazy guess.

So anything I missed? I mean yeah I saw that twit and twat are broke but let's not forget I will not talk about them on here any more and someone was kicked off Dancing with the Stars, I don't watch that. So yeah anything big I missed?

happy wednesday!

Googily Moogily Hollywood.

Apparently I'm a jinx to technology and a jinx to myself. Hence the delay in posting. Oy freaking vey people. Well here we go:
  • Starting off this week's Hollywood cuteness we have my fave new mama Sandra Bullock and the oh so adorable baby Louis. Seriously this kid is precious.

    check out those chubby cheeks!
    I wuv it, haha.

  • Also bringing some major cuteness surprisingly is Jennifer Lopez and her twins, I have to admit I didn't always think they were that cute but in this photo shoot with mom they are definitely catching my eye.

    divas in the making,
    but man are they cute.

  • In other adorable bebe news, Matt Damon and his wife welcomed another girl (that makes four!) to the family, little Stella Zavahala was born last Wednesday, congrats to the growing family! Also bringing some major cuteness, Halle Berry and little Nahla at the pumpkin patch and Daws....er James Van Der Beek and his wife with their little daughter at the airport, preciousness.

  • Moving on from the bebes and on to other Hollywood news...Johnny Depp is so swoony and awesome and I love this breakdown of some of his best movie roles because it is just so true (thanks Ev'Yan for the link)...Zach Galafinakis (I'm too lazy to look up how to spell his name) is usually the funny man in interviews (I mean have you watched Between Two Ferns??) but this time a columnist from Texas got the best of him and it makes for one hilarious interview...so Hilary Duff is a newlywed like me but thank god I did not have the wedding morning she did, SHE LOST A TOOTH, seriously I would have freaked out like no other, crazy pants...want to see Sean Penn in drag again? Well today's your lucky day to be officially freaked out, haha....apparently T Swizzle (that's Taylor Swift for all you common folk, haha) and Jake Gylenhaal are a thing? I mean what? No, I don't buy it. I won't believe it until they break up and she writes a song about him....Carey Mulligan just got a million awesome points in my book because ever since breaking up with Shia she's been slumming it in a Best Western, seriously, awesomenes...

  • In some favoriteness....
Diane Kruger had all sorts of cuteness to share about her boyfriend, my favorite Joshua Jackson and if they ever break up I'll be devastated.

And um here's Josh on the set of Fringe looking so Joshy and cute:

    why hello to you too!

Also looking handsome these days, Ryan Gosling on the set of his movie Drive, taking on the role of an officer and who doesn't love a man in uniform?

I could make a joke about
handcuffs but I think I'll refrain, haha.

And his interview in Interview (wow that seems repetitive) is quite charming, especially when he says that people confuse him with Ryan Reynolds (um what, how is that possible??).

  • In today's Twilightness...
Over the weekend in my lazy sickness coma I decided to watch Twilight and then said "what the hell" and watched New Moon too. I mean yeah it's ridiculous and corny and horribly acted but I found myself loving both movies even more, maybe it was the drugs. But really I just can't wait to own Eclipse on DVD (December 4th, wahoo and yes I am that big of a twinerd) and watch it whenever I want because just swooon.

  • In music news...
Ok Go has done it again. Another ridiculously awesome video and I don't know how I'm just now seeing it, but I love it and I mean the puppies!! enjoy.

Glee is coming out with a Christmas album! I can't decide how awesome this will be yet and I mean it will be competing with Mariah's new Christmas CD so umm, is it Christmastime yet?

  • In movie news...
Gnomeo and Juliet. Seriously, this movie looks all sorts of adorable and Elton John and Lady Gaga are pairing up for a song on the soundtrack and just yes, cuteness, check it out.

The Hangover 2. I still don't know how I feel about this movie being made but it is pretty awesome that instead of Mel Gibson (yeah that was short lived), Liam Neesen is now slated to have a cameo role. Liam is pretty bad ass and awesome so I can't wait to see him explore a comedic side a bit.

  • In TV news..
Criminal Minds. Are you watching this show yet? Because you should. I mean yeah it's disturbing most of the time but it's also funny and there's Spencer Reed!! I mean seriously how could you not watch this adorably geeky guy every week.

Top Model. Thank the high heavens of modeldom that Ann did not get best picture, FREAKING FINALLY. And that's really all that matters, the better recap is at Four Four.

Grey's Anatomy. About damn time we got some normal Cristina Yang back in action, I was starting to get really worried. And how sweet/touching/sad was Derek's worry about Meredith getting Alzheimer's?? Also, I heart Lexie and her ridiculous memory, she should probably date Spencer Reed, what a combo that would be, haha.

Project Runway. I'm sort of behind but basically: TEAM MONDO for the win. I mean he has to right? RIGHT?

How I Met Your Mother. Although I love the regular Barney I also like the Barney with feelings who made Robin feel better about herself and praise her for her independentness, doesn't every girl want to hear that? And Marshall and Lily's attempts at baby making were all sorts of hilarious, I sort of loved it and can't wait for them to finally get knocked up.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news, The Situation has a book. A FREAKING BOOK. I mean can he even read?!? Are they just giving book deals to anyone these days because if that is the case then HELLO out there, I WANT TO WRITE A BOOK! But seriously what the eff America? How does that douchewad land that? Oy.

So anything I missed? Let me know! Woo!

happy wednesday!

Back to Hollywood.

Oh Hollywood how I have missed you! I mean seriously I was getting the shakes my withdrawal was getting bad and I know my dear freaders missed knowing what ridiculousness had been happening in the past month and a half as well. Well friends, Hollywood Tuesday is back and with all sorts of goodies, so without further adieu:
  • I mean of course yes I have to start this week's Hollywood goodness with my most favorite Hollywood bebes, Violet and Seraphina, and thier oh so freaking adorableness:

Violet is a ballerina and my heart melts.

    lurve the mommy and meness.

  • In other cute bebeness we have Heidi Klum her wittle bebe Lou, seriously she is my future child, haha.

ashdaksjfh too cute for actual words.

  • In other Hollywood bebeness, Barney Stinson is a dad! Seriously though Neil Patrick Harris and his partner are now dads to twins, congrats!...also new to the parents club, Alicia Keys and hubby Swizz Beats, they welcomed son Egypt (no comment) last week...in some not as fun news two major splits hit Hollywood last week, Courteney Cox and David Arquette and Christina Aguilera and Jason Bratman, let's just hope they all keep it civil since there are youngins involved...and in case you cared, despite saving a potential jumper's life last week T.I. is headed back to jail for another 11 months (basically stop effing up buddy)...Johnny Depp is a rockstar in case you didn't know, well more like a pirate star and this story just made my heart melt with the cuteness...all sorts of stars showed up for the Scream Awards over the weekend and yeah, nothing really else to say about that, haha...lastly and Michelle Williams decided to change up her hair quite a bit (going for the Agyness Deyn look I think) and I gotta say, I'm sort of a fan:

    work it girl.

  • In some favorites news...
Let's just say this is the most awesome news of EVER. NEWSIES IS BEING BROUGHT TO THE STAGE FOR REALS. Yes I tweeted this awhile ago and yes I am still that excited about it. I mean honestly how could I not be?? Have you seen the movie??? (I hope the answer is yes or else I will question our friendship).

I'd like to remember Christian like this for always
instead of like this more recently...ew.

Also in favoriteness, the Gos lookin all rugged and cute (is it even possible to be both?) on the set of his new movie Drive:

    swooooon.

  • For today's Twilight news we have...
Breaking Dawn is about to start filming. Holy crap this movie is actually being made. I mean of course it was going to be made they weren't going to stop but after reading it I'm afraid, I really am. Nonetheless there have been some major casting announcements and looks like Louisiana is going to be hoppin with vampires and werewolves soon, oh boy.

And just for funsies, here's Rob looking all Roblike:

I'm all dark and mysterious and
    wearing a beanie and
    make girls swoon. clearly.

  • In some music news...
So I tweeted this a while back but Dead Man's Bones (aka Ryan Gosling's two man band) filmed a music video at my great aunt's nursing home and only recently did they release the video/mini movie. It's long but check it out anyways and my great aunt is in it at the two minute mark and a couple times after that, so schnazzy.

"Whip My Hair". I mean what? Am I actually pointing you to this video? Yes, yes I am. Willow Smith is TEN and has a video and a catchy song and damn you Ben for ever linking to this.

Also uber catchy, P!NK's new song "Raise Your Glass" and I realize how much I really like her music.

  • In TV news...
The Big Bang Theory. ZAZZY! That's all.

    Dexter
. I'm finally on season 4 you guys and you weren't kidding when you said it was good. Seriously I have screamed no less than 5 times and said "ooooooh" more times than I can count (it's a good thing I watch this show by myself).

Top Model. Do you have a favorite? I mean besides Tyra's ego because clearly she's the best, haha. But um I can't decide who I like besides the fact that I want to throw something every time Ann wins best picture because you know she's going to have a HORRIBLE Cover Girl commercial shoot (I'm putting bets on it now) so umm yes, better recaps are here of course.

Glee. Um no PUCK? I think this has to be a lie. Yes it must. But still, this show still makes my musical loving heart happy. And I'm sort of excited for the Rocky Horror Picture Show episode (although I've never seen it, for shame I know).

Criminal Minds. It really isn't the same without JJ and I love Garcia and I forget how much this show creeps me out and I love it at the same time, it's a little ridiculous.

Grey's Anatomy. Okay I'm ready for Cristina Yang to be Cristina Yang again and Sloane and Lexie need to hook on up again already and Meredith is sort of likeable which I appreciate and Bailey is amazing and SHIRTLESS AVERY? YES PLEASE (I mean what?).

The Mentalist. PATRICK JANE is amazing and a smart ass and has excellent hair. For those reasons you should also be watching this show, haha.

he also reads, so clearly I'm sold, haha.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news did you know that the Simpson family is Catholic? Yes the animated yellow family that's full of ridiculous has officially been declared Catholic from the head honchos over at the Vatican. I mean, what??

Ahh Hollywood it's so good to be back. So anything I missed? Let me know!

happy tuesday!

A most loverly day in Hollywood.

And we're finally back with the Hollywoodness that I so very much adore. I feel like I've missed out on so much but anyhoo, here goes it:
  • Bringing some major cuteness to Hollywood we have Garcelle Beauvais-Nillon and her twin boys Jade and Jax. I mean seriously those boys are freaking adorable.

can these be my future kids?
    please?

  • Also bringing some major cuteness is little Honor Warren with mama Jess. Seriously her cocked eyebrow is so funny and precious, I love it.

    so dang adorable.
  • Also in some bebe news, Barney Stin....er Doogie...er Neil Patrick Harris and his partner are expecting twins! Twins! I mean of course they are, only twins are born in Hollywood, but still, yay I am so excited for them! They will be fabulous dads! Also a parent-to-be is singer Alanis Morisette! Seriously she is just adorable and will be such a fabulous mom.

  • In other Hollywood news...Erykah Badu had to pay a $500 fine after filming a music video naked in Dallas...Tila Tequila was assaulted on stage as she performed for ICP fans, I mean I don't like her and all but to attack her? Yikes!...Robert Downey Jr. and his wife went on a double date with Jude Law and Sienna Miller, um, cool? Fun times?...Hillary Duff and Mike Comrie got hitched over the weekend, congrats to them, I mean I have always been a Hillary fan and I sort of have a couple of her songs on my ipod...the True Blood trio is rocking out on the cover of Rolling Stone and wow is it scandalous....Speaking of scandalous, Lawrence Fishburne's daughter is a porn star! I mean wow....and George Clooney is looking mighty Clooneyish (yeah I have no idea what that means) in promo pics for his new movie, The American (which I sort of want to see)...

why hello there to you too.

  • In some favoriteness...
Michael C. Hall was on set of the new season of Dexter and I really shouldn't look since I'm only through two seasons, but man he is swoony.

oh Dex you're just so Dex.

Also a fave, Gwen Stefani looking absolutely divine in a LBD on her way out with the hubby. I mean really, does she always have to look so good??

    seriously, how does this woman
    always look so damn good???

  • And in today's Twilight news...
Rob and Kristen are soooo official now. I mean totally. I mean they were making out. I mean I do not freaking care.

Although Kristen should be worried about Rob, he does look pretty cozy with Katy, haha.

    freaking love this.

  • In music news...
In case you didn't see my tweets, I got to interview the top 5 American Idol contestants from last season yesterday. The videos will be up later but I may or may not have developed a slight crush on all of them because they were just so dang funny and cute and did I mention funny? Yeah it was a great time all around and I just may be getting a hang of this whole interviewing thing.

  • In movie news...
So you know I just finished reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (wait you didn't? Um check out my reading page and you'll know what booked I'm currently trapped in) right? And apparently Hollywood is making it a movie (like that's a surprise, Sweden's already made a version I can't wait to watch) and has already cast Robyn Wright, Stellan Skaarsgard and Daniel Craig as lead characters and now the leading lady herself has been cast to someone relatively unknown.

  • In TV news...
GLEE! Seriously I can't wait for this show to come back. And although there are going to be a million and a half guest stars I do love that we'll be meeting Sue's mom played by Carol Burnett! I also love this new promo poster for season 2, I mean is it here yet? I need more musical in my life.

Grey's Anatomy. Apparently Jesse Williams is going to be getting half nekkid on screen and there is no way I will complain about that, oooh la freaking la.

  • And lastly in today's WTF news we have the newest delicacy to come out of Denny's...the fried cheese melt. I mean even I have my limits. Who the eff thought of this???

So anything I missed? Probably because I've been so freaking out of touch with Hollywood, it's sort of scary. So let me know!

happy wednesday!

A Hollywood supernova.

Hollywood Tuesday actually on a Tuesday!? No way! Way! Okay that was lame. Anyways, Hollywood was happening as always this past week and as always I like to share the best of the best (in my opinion anyways) so here we go:
  • Starting off this weeks' uber cute bebeness we have the Affleck girls (like that's a surprise). I mean really, could they be any more precious?! Ah! Heartface, adore, cutenes, lurrrve:

    oh so dang cute.

  • Also bringing some major cuteness to Hollywood we have little Valentine Pinnault (Salma Hayek's daughter). Seriously she is just so cute and I think she should have a play date with Levi McConaghey and how cute would that be!? Ah! Lurve!

    precious little mini Salma.

  • In some non-bebe news there were several engagements and a marriage announced last week: Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart tied the knot after eight years together, America Ferrera got engaged to her uber cute boyfriend and Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr announced their engagement as well, congrats to all!...in the total opposite of engagement, Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson are "on a break", whatever that means...in other Hollywood whatever weirdness, Jeremy London was allegedly kidnapped and forced to do drugs and it seriously just the weirdest freaking story ever...Chris Klein is in rehab after getting arrested for a DUI last week...and Amanda Bynes has retired from acting apparently (what!? No She's the Man 2??? I am appalled!)... William, Harry and Becks, enough said...and lastly, Jake Gylenhaal was caught in the act at the Laker game, what act, well just look for yourself:

oh Jake you really are an ass man after all, haha.

  • In some favoriteness Leo has officially signed on for a Clint Eastwood directed biopic of J. Edgar Hoover. Yay Leo, way to keep on working and being awesome and maybe you'll get another Oscar nod from this? I mean biopics are Academy Award gold right? Right? Anyways, thanks for being a Lakers fan and being awesome and yeah...

one. Leo what is that necklace?
two. I'll forgive you for it.
three. who are those kid's parents that got them tickets
to the game in front of you!?! say what!???

  • In today's Twilight news...
First of all, did you see Rob on Leno!? I mean it might be his best interview ever (well besides the one he did with me, haha, I kid, I kid). It was so cute and joking and adorable and um. Please watch, stat.

Secondly, Kristen and Taylor are blowing up the international Eclipse tour (I must say it's quite sad without Rob) and I sort of love her dress at the most recent premiere in Sweden:

    va va vooom.

And thirdly, the ladies of Letters to Twilight had a BIG weekend. They got to meet and hang out and interview and chat with Stephenie Meyer (and um Stephenie reads their blog, EVERY DAY! How awesome is that!?) So yeah go read their story as its shared because so far I love it. Woo!

  • In music news...
Can you believe it's almost been a year since Michael Jackson died? I still can't and it feels like I wrote this post yesterday. In any case, Billboard magazine is dedicating their newest issue to MJ and some of his hits, I might just have to check it out.

In other favorite musician news, NKOTB was playing the Radio Music Hall over the weekend and who joined them on stage? Only the Backstreet Boys! Ha! Seriously a boy band supernova right there. I can only imagine how insane that audience was.

Not really music news persay but it definitely had to be shared. So I'm a Keith Urban fan. I have a secret country side that's not really secret but Keith is my favorite. And after a story I saw from one of my favorite bloggers, Yvonne, this weekend, he has skyrocketed to awesomeness. Basically Yvonne's young daughter Gabby is a huge Keith fan and my work of the celebrity gods they ended up on the same flight as him back from Chicago. First there was this tweet that freaking adorable. But this, this right here melted my heart after Gabby had sent Keith a note, he sent her one back! Ah. Nicely done Keith, nicely done. *here's Yvonne's recap of the whole event, so so cute!*

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have a dog that has inherited 12 million dollars from it's deceased owner. Um. What the what? The whole story is nuts especially now that the lady's son is suing the estate and I have a feeling this might get messy and that dog better not get too used to it's own driver any more, haha.

Anything I missed? Let me know!

Loverly sorts of loverliness.

Why hello there Monday, not so great to see you as I thoroughly enjoy my weekends but alas you are here. And how was my weekend you ask? Well let's share shall we:

Friday: On a whim Matt and I decided to have a little date night at P.F. Chang's. We sat outside and had delicious food and a good time and it was just loverly all around. After dinner we came home and played the Wii for a little bit which was fun since we hadn't done that in a while. Eventually we made our way over to our friend Gianni and Laura's place to hang out since they're leaving on a big trip and moving to San Fran soon. It was nice to just hang and talk and laugh and have cookies and just have fun.

Saturday: Slept in for a bit which was all sorts of fabulous. Woke up to run some errands which was awesome. One of my errands included a trip to Best Buy where one of my best purchases occurred.

amazingness personified.

Seriously I went just to get the Eclipse soundtrack because as a devoted Twilight fan it was about time I owned it but instead I got Glee and Gaga too and ah! Heavenly!! So pretty much my whole day was spent listening to all of my new CDs and then my mom and sister came over and we worked on putting the invitations together all afternoon and it was all sorts of family bonding and loverly.

After the invite party I was on my way to Jenn's place for a little Nintendo sponsored night of Netflix fun. It was a good night of pizza eating, sangria drinking, new friend making, Nick and Nora watching and some Rock Band playing. Pretty much a fun night all around.

Sunday: Woke up early and met my family at Roscoe's for a little Father's Day chicken and waffles yumminess. After breakfast we all went our separate ways for the afternoon and despite all sorts of neck soreness Matt and I went to Universal Studios for a couple hours which was fun. It was a nice day and we hit up the tram ride and the Mummy and the Simpsons ride which is just so fun.

I feel like a kid again.

After Universal I took an oh so glorious nap while Matt went over to his dad's house to get start getting dinner ready. Eventually my family went over to Matt's dad's house for dinner and it was loverly. I love when our families can get together and just have a good time. Basically it was a fun night with food and laughs and our dads chatting and everyone else hanging out and eating and it was just loverly all around. The rest of the night was spent watching Big Bang Theory and my sister finishing off the invitations (seriously I owe her so much right now, thanks Kourt!) and drinking wine and ah, heavenly.

And how was your weekend? All sorts of fabulous and loverly I hope.

happy monday!

Hey Mr. DJ.

On Sunday Matt and I met with two potential wedding DJs (hurrah for meetings! and plans!and motivation to plan!). They were both pretty awesome and I think we might meet with a few more before making our final decision, we're still not quite sure about that.

And as we met with DJs the constant question of requests and playlist selections have come up. So of course I've been thinking about it a while and as I've gone to weddings over the past two years I've sort of put together a small list of songs that HAVE to be played at our wedding. I've also thought of some that I could definitely pass on. It's not really that adequate but it's not horrible and don't judge please and no "bridezilla" comments either, because that's just not cool.

So far this is sort of what we have:

No Thank You:
YMCA
The Macarena
Electric Slide
Conga line

It's Okay to play:
The Chicken Dance (it is a family tradition after all)

You Need to Play:
Shout
Thriller
Piano Man
A Wink and a Smile
September
ABC
Time to Party
I Gotta Feeling
This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)

So you'd think I'd have a better grip on danceable wedding songs that don't scream "I'm at a college party/middle school dance/backyard BBQ" but I sort of don't. And this is where you come in my dear freaders. Help a girl (and her guy) out with some musical suggestions. Luckily I have a better idea for the ceremony and cocktail hour music but even that's iffy. Basically throw out any and all songs good for a fun times wedding, because clearly that's what we're having.

Thanks in advance, you rock my musical socks off.

happy wednesday!

Fangirl freakout.

So although my Top Ten lists have sort of been halted, let me share with you the order of my musical loves.

1. Craig David. (duh).
2. O.A.R.

Let's just stop there because ohmygod I love O.A.R. I mean when Craig and I were on a break (ie when he didn't come to the US for seven years!) O.A.R. became my favorites. So basically let's just say they're in a tie with Craig. Anyways, I heart them. Big time. I've seen them six different times in four different states and I've loved each and every time. Although last year's concert may have been the best because it was at Club Nokia and I got to meet Marc, the lead singer, after the show, so yeah that was nice.

So when I got an email yesterday telling me that O.A.R. had tacked on an LA show to their summer tour (that was originally East Coast/Midwest only) next Friday at the Wiltern, I bought my tickets in less than five minutes and then proceeded to tweet this:

Needless to say I freaked out, texted my sister and Matt and wrangled them into coming with me and got all sorts of giddy. But it didn't stop there. I then decided that I should start prepping and listen to O.A.R. all day and then tweeted this:

And a couple hours later when I got back from lunch I was surprised to see this in my twitter feed:

UM SAY WHAT!? O.A.R. responded to me! And they thanked me. And I may have fangirl freaked out a bit because um that's just awesome. And yes it's just twitter but I know that Ali and Ben will at least appreciate this twitter response, right? right?

So pretty much that made my day and I cannot wait to see them in concert next Friday (want to come too? Buy tickets here!) and it will truly feel like summer and ah! Heartface!!

Also, if you don't know their music. You should. Like stat. Check out their site here. Also, you should probably know "Hey Girl" and "Crazy Game of Poker" and "Love and Memories" because they're all sorts of amazing. Okay? Thanks.

happy wednesday!

My latest obsessions.

As we all know, I have sort of an obsessive/addictive behavior. I mean as soon as I find something I really like I get hooked on it (seriously it's a good thing I've never smoked or done drugs because I don't even want to think about my behavior then).

So lately I've developed some fun obsessions/addictions lately that I feel like you should know about on this fine Friday, so here we go.
  • Sporcle.com. This site has definitely fueled my need to know country names and US presidents and professional sports teams and all sorts of other random facts and I lurve it.

  • "Airplanes" by B.o.B (still the lamest name ever) featuring Hayley Williams from Paramore. Seriously I cannot get enough of this song! I freaking love it. And you probably should too.

  • Brown rice. I've had it every day for lunch this week and it is deeeelicious.

  • Wedding planning. I mean the fact that it's four months away was a pretty big wake up call that some big things still need to get done. I'm not freaking out about it or anything, just having way too much fun making google docs and bookmarking cute blogs and writing down emails for DJs and videographers (any recs are welcome). Basically it's loverly.

  • All things Italian. As much as I am excited for our wedding I am just as excited to trek around Italy for a two week honeymoon. It also helps that we have lots of fun books to read about to get us ready and excited and I heart them all, woo!

So anything you're addicted to/obsessing over lately?

happy weekend!

Hollywood heartface.

Another Tuesday, another day in Hollywood so heeeeere weeeeee goooooo.
  • Starting off this week we have some serious cuteness coming from mom-to-be Isla Fisher and her oh so adorable and smiley daughter Olive. Seriously she's precious, she should be friends with Violet and Harlow and ah the cuteness would be amazing.

    preciousness!

  • Also bringing in some major cuteness we have little Zuma Rossdale with mama Gwen looking as precious as ever.

    aw little pouty face.

  • Moving on from the bebe cuteness and on to some Hollywood updates...Elijah Wood is in Chile helping out with abandoned pets and seriously, how cute is that...also cute? Dave Annable (from Brothers and Sisters) is currently in the middle of wedding planning, well sort of....in other awesome adorableness, Taylor Swift showed up and surprised two Auburn guys who run the site, A Hug From Taylor Swift and seriously I just heart her even more...in other girly news, Hayden Panitierre chopped all her hair off and I sort of agree with Dlisted, I thought Peter Pan too, haha....in some fairy tale-like news, Johnny Depp has bought his own pirate yacht, I think he might be a little too into Jack Sparrow but it is pretty bad ass....and Betty White is hosting SNL in two weeks and a promo was just released and seriously she is awesome.

  • In some favorites news...
Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell are filming a new movie together (odd pairing but it works) and ummm how suave is Ryan!?!

    oh hello senor suave.

Also in favorites news, Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger have emerged and are just as cute as ever! Seriously they are so lovely and I really hope they get married and just stay cute!

    heart.heart.heart.

  • In Twilight news...
The newest (and I believe last) trailer for Eclipse has been released and ohmygoodness is about all I can say.

  • In music news...
Jamie tweeted this gem yesterday and I just have to share because oh did I have it on repeat yesterday. Katy Perry singing MGMT's "Electric Feel" aka awesomeness.

  • In TV news...
GLEE. I don't even know where to begin. I can't even do the episode justice so I'll just share some thoughts. One. Where do they get the money for all of the costumes?? I'm not complaining, just curious. Two. I think Puck needs to always go by puckzilla from now on because what? It's ridiculous. Three. Mercedes and Kurt singing "4 Minutes" was all sorts of kick ass. Four. I just discovered this site and it's so damn cute. Five. I'd say Sue's "Vogue" did the original justice. and Six. "Come out and we can talk...or sing about it."

Project Runway. Yay Seth Aaron! I don't necessarily love his stuff but he was the nicest person in the top three. However, what the eff was up with those sideburns, please lose them buddy. Also, did anyone watch the after show? Why was everyone crying and whining??? It was so annoying.

Top Model. Any day now Angelea and Alasia can go, any day now Tyra. In the meantime Anslee got the boot and Four Four covers it best.

Tori and Dean. I've started watching this show lately and ohmygod I might have new favorite celeb babies, Stella and Liam are all sorts of precious. And even though Tori needs to eat a burger or twenty, her and Dean are pretty dang cute together.

Desperate Housewives. Yep, still watching, still reviewing.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news, a man missing two front teeth from Missouri won the powerball lottery of $258 million. Um. What. Why can't I win the lotto? (then again I guess I have to play it to win it, haha).

And that's all we have today. Anything I missed let me know?

happy tuesday!
