Hollywood goes bezerk.

So of course I take a week off of Hollywood and then it goes bezerk, like seriously so many big stories I don't even know if this blog can handle it. Well it won't hurt to give it a try, so here we go:
  • Starting off this week's adorableness we have the oh so cute Hannigan-Denisof family and seriously they make me smile and they should totally have a play date with Violet and Seraphina, I mean how cute would that be!?

so darn cute and smiley I love it!

  • Also looking oh so freaking adorable is baby Hank hanging on to mama Kendra. Seriously that boy is just so darn cute I almost can't handle it.

    oh he is just presh.

  • In other bebe news one of my favorites, P!nk, is going to be a mama! I sort of have a girl crush on her and can't wait to see her and Carey as parents...also joining the new mama club, Rachel Zoe, I don't care too much about that one since I don't watch her show or really even know who she is, but congrats nonetheless...in not so fun news, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are splitting after only three years of marriage and apparently it's because he had an "affair" with a teammates wife? Um what? Seriously what is with some people??....However in oh so exciting news and opposite of divorce was the announcement that Prince William is ENGAGED to Kate Middleton. I mean yes, a royal wedding is coming and how freaking awesome is that? And um hey royal family I am totally free next Spring and I LOVE weddings and I'm basically a pro so you can just add me to that list okay? Sweet...Oh and Jessica Simpson is conveniently engaged too, hurrah (sarcasm)...but really back to William and Kate, I mean seriously, how cute are they?!? And Diana's ring? And her dress? Yeah they're pretty damn adorable.

I sort of want her dress and hey the ring
would be a nice addition too, haha.

  • In some favorites news...
Ryan Reynolds is People's sexiest man of the year. After seeing that man in person once I can't really debate that choice and I'm just glad it's someone new. So yay Ryan and Scarlett you are a lucky biotch.

    why hello there Mr. Reynolds.

NKOTB is totally back. I mean yeah I'll forever be a fan, I can't help it. And the NKOTB and BSB performance at the AMA's sort of makes my heart happy.

    hangin' tough!
or more like Step by Step oooooh baby.

  • And in today's Twilight news...
So apparently on their honeymoon in Breaking Dawn Bella and Edward jump in waterfalls? Clearly it's been too long since I've read the books but that's the scene Rob and Kristen have been filming and just year, cute? I don't know.

In other Twilight news and not involving a Jonas Brothers, I might have a girl crush on Ashley Greene. Seriously how does she always look so damn pretty? But I do adore her and just want her to be Alice anyways, so yeah here's Ashley at a Mark event.

    seriously, so pretty.

  • In movie news...
Harry Potter. No I haven't seen the new movie yet, but I really can't wait to whenever I get a chance. And to celebrate this is hands down my favorite video of the cast learning to speak American, "the freedom language", haha. Seriously even if you're not an HP fan, check it out.

We Bought a Zoo. I recently read this memoir about a family that takes over a rundown zoo and the movie adaptation recently announced it's casting and it's some pretty great names so far. This movie has potential to pretty interesting.

Disney announced that they won't be making any more fairy tale movies. I don't really know how I feel about this only because I can't think of any fairy tales they haven't done but at the same time it's sad they won't make any more cartoons based on the classics.

  • In some music news...
Girl Talk. Listen and enjoy. That is all.

  • In some TV news...
Glee. I can't get the "Umbrella/Singing in the Rain" mashup out of my head! So damn catchy and I don't even like "Umbrella"! Also, TOTS! Don't know why but that had me cracking up. Also, what the heck was Mr. Shue's "dream" with him and Mike? That seriously made no sense to the whole episode.

Top Model. And we're down to TWO. And not the two I would have picked. *SPOILER* I was seriously rooting for Kayla and I'm bummed she didn't make the final cut and Jane was eh but I was a fan. However Jane and Ann's drunken night was all sorts of entertaining. Anyways I can't wait to see Ann on the catwalk because holy hell will that be a show, haha. And a full fabulous recap here as usual.

Medium. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the only people under 40 that loves this show so I'm not surprised it got the boot after seven seasons but I am sad. The DuBois family is one of the best and most realistic (minus Allison's ridiculous amount of pajamas and her mediumness) families on TV and I'll be sad to see them go.
The Big Bang Theory. Frickity Frack! I mean yes Sheldon needs to be real and be my friend. However he has some new regular friends of his own, the newest ladies of the show have been promoted to regulars (woo Bridgette and Amy!).

Grey's Anatomy. Dear Shonda, I want Cristina Yang back. Love, Katelin.

And for the TV lovers like myself check out this awesome video of some of the best catch phrases in TV history.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news the effing Duggars keep reproducing and it needs to be stopped. The oldest Duggar kid (who is married and has a one year old and is ONLY TWENTY TWO) announced that he and his wife are expecting a second child. Seriously are they trying to take over the world?!?! And running in close second to the crazies is another family that has EIGHTEEN KIDS (and none of them are twins!). STOP IT PEOPLE, STOP IT.

So anything I missed this week? Let me know!

happy tuesday!

It's a teenage dream in Hollywood.

So I'm all hopped up on Ricola and functioning on little sleep (damn you sickness) so this could be an interesting post, then again when is Hollywood not chock full of interesting. Anyhoo enough rambling, here we go:
  • Starting off this week's cuteness we have little Satyana Denisof with her parents Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof. I mean yeah it's from Halloween but still, the cuteness!!

    all sorts of cuteness
  • Also bringing some major cuteness is little August having some fun with his mom, my favorite TV cop (well besides Eliot) Mariska Hargitay. Seriously I can't believe he's four already and he looks so much like mom!

    so cute!

  • Continuing with the bebe talk, Baby Spice is expecting another baby! I mean yes that's adorable and cute and congrats to the growing family...more bebeness is taking over this month's issue of W with a spread with Katherine Heigl and Nahleigh and a very pregnant and very naked Miranda Kerr as well as a snippet with Madonna...Cirque Du Soleil announced that they are launching a new show: A MICHAEL JACKSON SHOW, yes please sign me up!... apparently India is having an owl shortage and it's all due to the love of Harry Potter, there should be a spell for that....in other HP news, apparently Voldemort and some death eaters took over Grand Central Station, how trippy would that be to see?...and rounding out the HP coverage, Emma Watson is on the cover of this month's Marie Claire and seriously I adore her and how normal she is and how very Twiggyesque her new hairdo is, check out more of the interview and pics here:

she is just so chic I love it.

  • In some favoritness...
Sam! We have a Sam sighting people! Now I'm not too fond of the hair business but it's for a movie role so I'll give him that, but helloooo Sam.

    why hellooo there.

NKOTB is going on tour again and this time with the Backstreet Boys. I mean talk about a teenage girl fantasy (errr teenage girls that are now my age and older, haha). I can't decide if I'm going to go yet but still, loving it.

So you know I'm a Craig David fan right? Well check out this band's cover of one of his best songs, "7 Days" it's pretty catchy.

  • In today's Twilight news...
The filming of Breaking Dawn has officially started! I mean I don't know why I added an exclamation point because I am still so skeptical about this story being turned into a movie. Anyways, some of the first shots of Kristen and Rob on set have emerged and I sort of adore her dress and the fact that her hair doesn't look horrible and fake (a la Eclipse) and just yes.

    presh! the married couple.

  • In movie news...
I totally forgot that Emma Stone is Skeeter in the movie adaptation of The Help and there are some new pics of her on set, I am so curious how this movie turns out.

  • In TV news...
Top Model. They're in ITALY! I might have actually teared up a bit when they were exploring Venice because all I could say was "WE WERE JUST THERE!" Other than that, I had to rewind to listen to Lisa's "I don't know where Milan is, is that like Mulan in Japan?" I mean what the eff?! She deserved to go home. And for a full gif filled recap, visit four four.

Glee. Um what was up with all the Beast fantasies? Creepy. However, not creepy the guys acapella singing "Teenage Dream", I was officially swooned (and yes that's a word). And the KISS, hello the KISS! Weeeeeird. I mean yeah it makes sense but wow, did not see that one coming. And hello where was Kurt's dad when he's going through a hard time? His dad is always there for him and I love it, I mean yeah I know he's recovering and all but still, I miss their relationship.

Grey's Anatomy. Cristina quit?! Um. Not allowed. Bring the old Cristina back like now. And Arizona is gone? I know she was pregnant in real life but three years in Africa? Yeah no thank you, let's fix that. And seriously Sloane and Lexie, heart them.

How I Met Your Mother. Aw Zoie has a heart, sort of. And Barney has a dad! And Robin and Barney were way too funny touching all of the artifacts at the museum, ridiculous.

The Mentalist. Finally, Lisbon gets some action, haha. And a bagillionaire at that. Other than that another ridiculously entertaining episode and Patrick was dashing per usual, woo.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news a woman went on Wheel of Fortune and solved a puzzle with ONE LETTER. ONE LETTER and this woman solved it and my goodness what a lucky/smart/crazy guess.

So anything I missed? I mean yeah I saw that twit and twat are broke but let's not forget I will not talk about them on here any more and someone was kicked off Dancing with the Stars, I don't watch that. So yeah anything big I missed?

happy wednesday!

A Hollywood supernova.

Hollywood Tuesday actually on a Tuesday!? No way! Way! Okay that was lame. Anyways, Hollywood was happening as always this past week and as always I like to share the best of the best (in my opinion anyways) so here we go:
  • Starting off this weeks' uber cute bebeness we have the Affleck girls (like that's a surprise). I mean really, could they be any more precious?! Ah! Heartface, adore, cutenes, lurrrve:

    oh so dang cute.

  • Also bringing some major cuteness to Hollywood we have little Valentine Pinnault (Salma Hayek's daughter). Seriously she is just so cute and I think she should have a play date with Levi McConaghey and how cute would that be!? Ah! Lurve!

    precious little mini Salma.

  • In some non-bebe news there were several engagements and a marriage announced last week: Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart tied the knot after eight years together, America Ferrera got engaged to her uber cute boyfriend and Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr announced their engagement as well, congrats to all!...in the total opposite of engagement, Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson are "on a break", whatever that means...in other Hollywood whatever weirdness, Jeremy London was allegedly kidnapped and forced to do drugs and it seriously just the weirdest freaking story ever...Chris Klein is in rehab after getting arrested for a DUI last week...and Amanda Bynes has retired from acting apparently (what!? No She's the Man 2??? I am appalled!)... William, Harry and Becks, enough said...and lastly, Jake Gylenhaal was caught in the act at the Laker game, what act, well just look for yourself:

oh Jake you really are an ass man after all, haha.

  • In some favoriteness Leo has officially signed on for a Clint Eastwood directed biopic of J. Edgar Hoover. Yay Leo, way to keep on working and being awesome and maybe you'll get another Oscar nod from this? I mean biopics are Academy Award gold right? Right? Anyways, thanks for being a Lakers fan and being awesome and yeah...

one. Leo what is that necklace?
two. I'll forgive you for it.
three. who are those kid's parents that got them tickets
to the game in front of you!?! say what!???

  • In today's Twilight news...
First of all, did you see Rob on Leno!? I mean it might be his best interview ever (well besides the one he did with me, haha, I kid, I kid). It was so cute and joking and adorable and um. Please watch, stat.

Secondly, Kristen and Taylor are blowing up the international Eclipse tour (I must say it's quite sad without Rob) and I sort of love her dress at the most recent premiere in Sweden:

    va va vooom.

And thirdly, the ladies of Letters to Twilight had a BIG weekend. They got to meet and hang out and interview and chat with Stephenie Meyer (and um Stephenie reads their blog, EVERY DAY! How awesome is that!?) So yeah go read their story as its shared because so far I love it. Woo!

  • In music news...
Can you believe it's almost been a year since Michael Jackson died? I still can't and it feels like I wrote this post yesterday. In any case, Billboard magazine is dedicating their newest issue to MJ and some of his hits, I might just have to check it out.

In other favorite musician news, NKOTB was playing the Radio Music Hall over the weekend and who joined them on stage? Only the Backstreet Boys! Ha! Seriously a boy band supernova right there. I can only imagine how insane that audience was.

Not really music news persay but it definitely had to be shared. So I'm a Keith Urban fan. I have a secret country side that's not really secret but Keith is my favorite. And after a story I saw from one of my favorite bloggers, Yvonne, this weekend, he has skyrocketed to awesomeness. Basically Yvonne's young daughter Gabby is a huge Keith fan and my work of the celebrity gods they ended up on the same flight as him back from Chicago. First there was this tweet that freaking adorable. But this, this right here melted my heart after Gabby had sent Keith a note, he sent her one back! Ah. Nicely done Keith, nicely done. *here's Yvonne's recap of the whole event, so so cute!*

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have a dog that has inherited 12 million dollars from it's deceased owner. Um. What the what? The whole story is nuts especially now that the lady's son is suing the estate and I have a feeling this might get messy and that dog better not get too used to it's own driver any more, haha.

Anything I missed? Let me know!

happy tuesday!

Obsessed with '08.

While I know not many people are checking blogs today and what not but I figured I'd throw in my two cents to end the year with. While I could reflect on something that happened each month this past year or give my top movie reviews of '08 or TV shows I think you should all be watching. But alas I have decided simply to share my top obsessions of '08.

Yes I said it, top obsessions. Probably not too hard to figure out but hey I might as well give credit to the obsessions that made my year a little bit more exciting, haha.

First up, we have Wicked. Yes I was obsessed with it last year, but this year I took my obsession to new lengths and flew across the country in the middle of the week to see it a second time with my best friend. I even saw it a third time this year when Matt surprised me with tickets. Now if that isn't dedication I don't know what is, haha.

My next big obsession of the year was meeting celebrities! Seriously I had two of the greatest and most amazing run ins of my life this year: Jordan Knight and Ryan Gosling. Le swoon oh le swoon. I can only hope that I'll have even more amazing and wonderful run ins in '09.

Next up, we have reading. I want to give myself a pat on the back for reading 23 books since March. My initial goal was 10, and I made it to 23, hark! I don't remember the last time I read that many books and enjoyed so many of them in the process. Seriously, reading is awesome.

While on the subject of reading the next obsession of '08 is Twilight. I mean I know this one's obvious since Twilight pretty much took over the blog for the last three months but really, can you blame me? The book just made me feel like a tween again and the movie just made me swoon over Rob Pattinson.

Speaking of Rob Pattinson, ummmmyeah he's officially numero uno on the '08 obsessions list. The guy came out of nowhere and he sings and acts and has that brooding look down and my goodness his hair! Ahhhhmazing. I hope to see more of him for sure next year and hey maybe I'll even get to meet him....one can only hope :)

And that my friends is what I was obsessing over most in '08. Can't wait to see what new things '09 will present me with :)

And hope you all have a most fabulous and wonderously amazing New Year's Eve!

Merry Christmas!

Today is set to be one busy, busy day and I can hardly wait. I love Christmas so much, it makes me feel like a kid again, especially since my mom still puts out Santa labels for our gifts, I mean how can that not make you smile. Anyhoo I hope you all have a most fabulous, amazing, wonderous Christmas!

And that you have smiles as big as mine:

Merry Christmas!

happy thursday!

I'm nutty for Christmas.

So besides just being on a happy high lately, I've also gotten into the Christmas spirit as well. I'm pretty sure I've already listened to the Nutcracker Suite three times, New Kids On the Block's Merry Merry Christmas about five times and Harry Connick Jr.'s Christmas CDs more times than I care to admit, and that fact makes me ecstatic. Christmas is 20 days away! 20! Ah, I love it.

And all the presents I ordered online last week have come in, now I just need to actually buy some wrapping paper and present essentials to put them all together. And next weekend Matt and I are getting our tree and going to my office holiday party and having one of our own, and ah! I love it.

So to stay in the holiday spirit I told you how last weekend I decorated the apartment with whatever decorations my mother bestowed upon me when I officially moved out, yeah well last night I decided to take pictures of it all and share with you fine folks, enjoy!

love the blanket, so much

the Nutcracker shelf is my favorite, seriously I have
so many Nutcracker themed things

more Nutcrackers, woo

even Matt's shalaylee (er I have no idea how to spell that)
is decked out

annnd the stuffed animals corner

And that my friends is our holidayed apartment so far. I want to get more decorations that aren't all Nutcracker themed, haha. Seriously did you see how many different Nutcrackers I have? I can't help it, I love them and my mother indulges in my obsessions, haha.

Anyhoodles, that's our place. Do you have any Christmas thing you love the most?

Hope you all have a most fabulous weekend and if you're an LA blogger I hope I see you tonight!!!

happy weekend all!

A fashionable day in Hollywood.

And here we have another Tuesday, another Hollywood post...
  • This week's bebe news comes yet again from cute little Suri who is finally learning to wear a jacket and has rockin sunglasses, wahoo:

  • In other bebe news, Ashlee Simpson finally had her little Wenz and what did they name the bouncing baby boy?....Bronx....Mowgli Wentz. The kids initials are BMZ and his middle name is after a jungle boy?! Seriously guys, seriously?

  • In today's fashion highlights we have to Do and Do Not Not Not. For the Do we have Alicia Keys at the AMAs over the weekend. I seriously love her dress, the shape, the style, the fit, simply divine:

And for the Do Not Not Not we have Beyon...er Sasha Fierce:

Seriously what the hell is she thinking?! Neither of these outfits are cute and are just a wee bit bizarre.

  • In other music news apparently my boys, New Kids on the Block, performed at the AMAs a lovely medley of some of their hits and I sort of loved it. Well maybe not loved, but enjoyed it and definitely swooned a bit.

  • Lastly in the music world, apparently Miss Britney is closer and closer to her comeback and I absolutely love this new Rolling Stones cover she's rockin:

Seriously, heart the new Brit and her new album is pretty schnazzy too, go Brit!

  • In other favorites news because I can't seem to stop talking about Twilight just quite yet, Rob Pattinson was on Tyra's show (airing on Friday) and Ty asked Rob to bite her...and he complied! Yes I think I sort of melted when I saw these pics and got a wee bit jealous, oh Ty Ty you are so lucky, haha:

  • Speaking of Tyra and TV let's just get to the TV recap...
Top Model. I was so not happy with McKey winning it all. I was Team Annaleigh for sure, Sam as cool and funny but Annaleigh was so spunky and nice and I loved it. But McKey? Really? Luckily I wasn't the only one that felt that way.

How I Met Your Mother. Can I just say...Naked Man! Seriously I think I laughed through the whole episode, it was hilarious.

The Hills. Oh my freaking god. Heidi and Spencer eloped in Mexio last week. Really? Really? I think I may have vommed a bit in my mouth when I read that. I must say though that I'm surprised that they didn't have a camera crew and a million people paid to be in attendance. However they are still milking the secret wedding for all it's worth with the US Weekly cover and story, eck.

Grey's. I am so loving the storyline with Cristina and Dr. Owen, seriously they need to just get it on already. And Izzy's business? Yeah I have no idea what's going on there.

  • And in today's WTF news we have a mystery piano. Yeah you read that right, a piano. Cops in Massachusetts were baffled when they found a piano, in tune and with a bench sitting in the middle of the woods. No one knows how it got there or who it belongs to, but it's definitely funny. An Matt's response to the story "If there's a piano in the woods and it's tuned is there anyone there to play it?" har har har.

And that's all I got for Hollywood news today folks, anything I missed?

However in non-Hollywood news today's my little sister's 21st birthday! Woo woo! So happy birthday Kourt and hope yours is just as awesome and ridiculous as mine was, holla:

happy tuesday!

Happy Halloweenie! :)

Happy Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeen everyone!

Hope you are dressed up and taking advantage of the day. And hark! We finally have some clouds in California, not 100 degree weather, but real clouds like October should have, woo!

Speaking of dressing up, today at work I am channeling my inner youth:

not only am I rocking the straight hair,
but the side pony tail as well, holla*

oh and that shirt, heck yes it's an original NKOTB
I'm a true fan through and through :)

See, told you I was a fan. I still have this shirt and another one, along with pins with all of the guys faces, and today I'm wearing Jordan and Joey because obviously they were my faves.

However, tonight's costume is much more elaborate. I don't think I've let it slip here what I'm wearing with Matt and sadly I don't think it was one that anyone suggested, just happened to find it and love it at Party City. But I do know I let someone know because she's dressing up as the same thing! And I have to say I'm pretty excited to wear it to my friend's party tonight.

Seriously, I love Halloween. There's candy and parties and cute little kids in the most adorable costumes (seriously I think the baby chicken suit may be my fave so far, haha) and all around awesomeness.

Annnnnd I'm almost done with Twilight which appropriately is all about vampires that are so Halloween and have gotten me even more excited for today. I lurve it.

Okay that's enough rambling for me, I'm too excited to type, haha.

And what are your Halloween plans? Any awesome costumes? Can't wait to read about it Monday!

Have a most fabulous and safe Halloween everyone!

happy weeeeekend!

Answers from Matt. (Part II)

Although Edward Cullen has currently taken my literary heart, Matt is still my numero uno boy, haha. And he's still answering your most fabulous questions, so here goes:

San asked: Do you ever get upset when Katelin spends too much time on the internet?
A: Ya I do, it gets frustrating, since Kate works online all day I actually think it's kind of funny when she comes home and pulls out the laptop to go back online. However, I do realize that it is one of her passions and i love her for that.

thatShortChick asked: What is your favorite NKOTB song?
A: Even if there are a lot of them and even if Katelin does listen to them consistently, I just don't really appreciate the music, it's just not my thing, sorry. However, I do think Jordan is just a dream boat.

Lacey Bean asked: Which New Kid do you think your most like and why?
A: Joey because Kate says I kind of look like him(I don't know if that's good or not haha.)

CageQueen asked: When are you guys going to get engaged?
A: I refuse to answer this question seeing as Kate will read this and that would kind of take the surprise out of me actually popping the question haha.

Wickedly Scarlett asked: What's your favorite outfit that Katelin wears? Do you remember what she was wearing on your first date?
A: I don't really know if there is a particular outfit that I like most. She wears a lot of pajamas and t-shirts when I see her, and if there is one outfit i don't like it's the leggings or whatever there called, the tights. But I do like most of the skirts and dresses that she wears, I am a sucker for a skirt, just can't help it.

Hollywood Sucker asked: What's your favorite cereal?
A: Cooooooookkkkkkkiiiiieeeee Crisp

Allison asked : What is your favorite gift Katelin has given you?
A: The first year we were dating I was still in school in Arizona and she flew out multiple times to visit. Never really in a surprise manner, but still it was a big deal to me because it was a long hard year living out there away from my family and friends and especially her. So ya that was the best gift since we started dating. However, not to sound too mushy, but my favorite gift Katelin has given me was the chance to start going out with her. I knew for a long time that I liked her, it just took her a while to catch on too ;).

Seriously you guys asked some awesome questions, I love it. I can't wait to see what you think of when I open the floor for myself, haha.

Anyhoo hope you all have a most fabulous day!

happy wednesday!

Friday, October 17, 2008

It's a questionable Friday.

Clearly I'm too lazy/tired/exhausted/boring/creative for a real post today, so alas I pose some questions:
  • How long untilI eat all of the Cheryl cookies?

  • Has NKOTB's new CD really been in my car player for a month and a half? I just can't stop.

  • Have you ever showed up to work looking like you stepped out of the H&M prepster academy? No? Well I did, today, and I sort of love it. (but don't tell anyone, haha)

  • Seriously who is going with me to see Josh Kelley either October 29th, November 5th or November 11th? I need a concert partner, stat!

  • Is that a bagel I smell? No? Coffee cake? Ah! Stop teasing my nostrils!

  • Where is Ryan Gosling?

  • Why do my Dodgers torment me so?

  • Why does Nyquil induce the weirdest possible dreams?

  • Where is my watch? I feel so naked without it. Anyone else feel like that?

  • Lanolin? Like sheep's wool?

  • Is it just me or was this week incredibly long?

  • Why the heck does John McCain blink so much?

  • Will I get to sleep this weekend?

  • What the heck should Matt and I do tonight?

  • Anyone want to go bowling?

  • And what are you doing this fine weekend?

happy friday!

Celebrities make the Hollywood post go round.

So Hollywood was all a whirl this week/end (actually I have no idea what that really means but I thought I'd use it...anyhoo...moving on). And there is plenty to share, so let's not waste any time and get going:
  • This week's cute bebe comes from the Jolie-Pitt family. It's bee too long since we've seen the cuteness that is Shiloh, the bad assness of Z and the spaced out adorableness of Pax, but alas they have returned to good ole Nola with mama Angelina:

    presh!

In other Jolie-Pitt news Angelia and Brad went to the NYC premiere of Changeling (which looks amazing by the way) and seriously they don't look like they've been up all night with six kids and I am impressed. And apparently in between all of that Angelina had time to get two more tatoos for Viv and Knox. Yeah I'm not gonna lie, it's kind of cool she has all of her kids locations of birth tattooed on her.

  • In other cute bebe news, Marcia Cross seems to always be out and about having a great time with her girls and seriously it's adorable. And I just couldn't resist this picture of Marcia and Savannah together....absolutely adorable:

  • In other celebrity/movie news, Sunday night was the premiere of Leo and Russel's new flick Body of Lies. Now I don't really know how I feel about the movie and Leo's facial hair, but I do know that I am a fan of him in his dashing suit at the premiere. Seriously Leo cleans up so well. Which reminds me, on Saturday (or was it Friday?) Titanic was on TBS (or was it TNT?) and we watched like the very end when old Rose throws the necklace over and I was pretty bummed I had missed the whole movie, because let's be honest I saw it seven times in theater and I am not at all embarrassed by that, haha. But I did love the end when Jack and Rose are reunited, aw le swoon. Where am I going with this? I have no idea. But here's a pic of Leo at the premiere, man is he dashing:

  • In funny news, did anyone watch SNL on Saturday? Seriously they are on a roll with all the Pallin stuff it's hilarious. I highly recommend checking it out stat if you want a good laugh.

  • And in the land of television...
Desperate Housewives. I am so glad Mike is alive and kickin and as cute as ever. And speaking of Susan's exes I'm glad they brought back her first husband too, I mean seriously how do they explain some characters just disappearing? And in other character news...Parker Scavo finally showed up. And is it me or does he not look like he could be 18 and older than the twins??? And Carlos just keeps getting cuter every episode I sort of love his undying love for Gaby...so cute.

Top Model. All I have to say is thank goodness Clark is gone. I did not think she'd be going far anyways but she was just way too mean to Isis and definitely deserved the boot.

Heroes. Ummmmm. That's about all I got. This show is taking so many twists and turns I can't really even keep track of what the heck is going on.

The Hills. Apparently there was some rumor that Lauren hooked up with Justin Bobby and Audrina believed it and now they're on the outs and Audrina was out eating lunch with Heidi. Crazy pants people, crazy pants. And Heidi wants to be friends with Lauren? And Holly who made you Dr. Phil? I mean really. Stop it already, haha. But really, the drama is getting to be a wee bit much? Why oh why do I watch this show? Someone tell me. Oy.

  • Today's WTF news comes in the form of a cookbook. Yes I say, a cook book. Apparently a Siberian man thought that everyone needed a testicle cookbook. I'm not even kidding. It's a whole cookbook using animal testicles. Seriously, ew. Ew.

And that's all I got today kids. Hollywood's a funny one.

Oh but don't forget to check out my guest spot at Jamie's today talking about my undying love for NKOTB and the best pictures eva....obviously.

happy tuesday!

Weekend-o-girly-awesomeness.

So as you know I spent my weekend jet setting across the country to visit some of my most favorite people and man was it worth it. First of all, thank you Jamie for stepping in on Friday's post, seriously there's no denying the NKOTB awesomeness.

So anyhoo...the weekend...wore.me.out. But as I said, most definitely worth it. A couple of college friends got together to hang out in good ole Columbus, Ohio to reminisce, be crazy and have a good time. And of course it was an all around whirlwind, so here goes:

Thursday: I was up way to incredibly early to head to LAX. Luckily my dad took me to the airport where I barely made my flight because everyone and their mother flies at 6 in the morning, gah. But luckily I made it okay, got some sleep, did some more reading (The Secret Life of Bees is pretty good so far) and got some more sleep. I got in to the OH in the late afternoon where my friend Liz picked me up and brought me back to her place (which I loooove) to hang out for a bit, relax, talk, all that lovely stuff. Afterwards my friend VA came over and we all headed to dinner at this fab little place on High Street. Seriously, High Street has some great places and it's awesome how we could walk everywhere, I loved it. After a tasty dinner we came back to Liz's place to drink wine and watch bad TV, my kind of girlicious evening.

Friday: Liz took the day off to hang out with me and we started the day making muffins (yummm) and eating them of course, haha. Afterwards we headed over to Ohio State's campus to visit my cousin for lunch. It was so fun to see him but man it just made me miss college, haha. After lunch Liz and I headed to Easton...aka the best shopping around, haha. I absolutely love that place. If you're ever in Columbus I highly recommend checking it out, although be warned it will make a nice dent in wallet, haha. Post Easton we hit up another Midwest favorite of mine, Caribou Coffee for some of their amazing Hot Apple Blast (delish!) Seriously I loved the fact that it was coldish and I could visit some of my fave spots.

For dinner we all went to some cute little cafe place and even got to meet up with the fabulous Michelle. Seriously, I was so nervous to meet her but she was just as awesome in person as I would imagine from reading her blog :)

After dinner, me, Liz and VA headed to the airport to get Jen, woo. We all headed back to Liz's place to pregame a bit have some fun before heading out for the night. Seriously I love girly nights, haha.

Seriously who can say no to wine and Apples to Apples, haha?

After some playing we headed out to a bar in Columbus that had cheap drinks, lots of people and some fun music, basically the recipe for a great time.

me and Jen

who knows what we're laughing about, haha

much better shot of the four of us

AJ just happened to be in town too College kids together again, woo

All in all it was a fun night out...who knew Columbus could be so hoppin? :)

Saturday: None of us set our alarms expecting that we'd wake up earlyish...yeeeeeah we didn't get up until 11...and it was awesome, haha. After a long sleep we all got ready for the day then headed out to visit our alma mater. On the way we saw this driving on the road:

Yeah we couldn't help laughing at that one, a giant root beer being pulled along by the thirst ambulance, haha. Finally we made it to campus and walked around a bit. Seriously I feel like if I threw on some sweats, had a shoulder bag and my hair in a pony tail I could be a student again, haha. But man did I miss it. We even walked around one of our old dorms and got jealous at how clean the bathrooms were and how much the halls didn't smell like popcorn and stale beer, haha.

posing in front of the student center

I can't help but take pictures of pretty trees

After leaving campus we moseyed on back to Columbus to wait for one more friend to show up. Once Lindsay arrived we all hung out, pregamed, moseyed around and finally headed to High Street for dinner. It was so much fun to hang out with the girls and talk about what we've been up to and just laugh over ridiculous things, twas lovely.

And who knew we'd run into our future president on the streets of Ohio?

We felt so honored to be so close to Barack, haha. We even got some schnazzy pins too, woo woo. After our celebrity run in we headed back to Liz's place to hang out some more with good intentions of heading out again to the Columbus gallery hop...however we ended up all staying in, playing Kings and laughing at ridiculous things....such as Lindsay falling asleep, haha:

and Liz dressing as a babushka, haha:

Yeah we're a little ridiculous sometimes but man was it fun. I seriously heart those girls.

Sunday: Sadly I had another freakin early flight and had to come on back to Los Angeles. Luckily though there were no flight problems and I made it back fine. The day was spent lazying around catching up on my DVRed shows and hanging out with Matt. Twas loverly.

But man as much as I caught up on sleep I feel like I can sleep five more days at least, haha. All those early flights and contortionist type moves I had to make to sleep on the plane really did nothing for my sleep schedule, haha.

Anyhoodles, how was all your weekends? Anything big I should know about since I probably won't be able to read all 800 something posts in my reader, haha? Do tell.

Wahoo!

pps. Go Dodgers! :)

happy monday!
