Katelin on the Red Carpet.

Dear Hollywood,

Today I would usually write about all your crazy antics and TV shows and cute babies and good looking guys, but I'm doing things a little differently today. Hollywood, your biggest day is in NINETEEN days and I think I should be there. More importantly I should be on the red carpet and at the show and yes, sign me up.

With that, I'm taking some time out of my regularly scheduled blogging to tell you why I should be on the red carpet at the Oscar's:

  • I would really like to meet Christian Bale. And I promise I wouldn't ask him to sing anything (despite my Newsies loving heart) and I would be really good at deciphering his thick accent and I would stay out of his way while at the same time totally conversing with him and it would be awesome.

  • Mila Kunis? Need I say more. Actually yes I do. If I got a picture with her I'd win wife of the year award for sure!

  • I've interviewed the cast of New Moon the American Idol top five from last season, Neon Trees and most recently Johnny Wright. So I've had practice. Also, I didn't swoon all over RPatz when I met him, now that is a feat all it's own.

  • I look good in a formal dress. I mean I did rock my wedding dress pretty well right?

  • I know the most random facts about celebrities and could easily make any interview interesting. I mean did you know that Sandra Bullock is allergic to horses or that Amy Adams was born in Italy or that Jeff Bridges is Buddhist and meditates before filming? I mean yes, I'm full of this ridiculous celebrity knowledge.

  • Hello. Have you read my blog? I love Hollywood. I live Hollywood.

  • Going to the Oscar's has always been one of my biggest dreams and is on my life list and what's better than helping a young woman's dreams come true?

So Hollywood you see why I should be on the red carpet? I would be way better than Ryan or Joan or Mario or any of them? I'd be funny and spaztic and totally professional all at the same time!

So People, Extra, Access Hollywood, E! are you listening, I reallllllllly want to be on the red carpet at the Oscar's. Please? Pretty pretty please?

happy tuesday!

Hollywood Lite.

So. Hollywood. Stuff happens. And sometimes I talk about it. Today is a lite version because I just couldn't keep up. So I bring you my favoriteishness Hollywood biz. And go.
  • Starting the cuteness we have the oh so adorable mommy and son duo of Gwen Stefani and little Kingston riding a sled in Mammoth. I mean adorable right?

    the cute.

  • In other Hollywood news...Jason Mraz and Tristan Prettyman are engaged! (and have been since Decemeber and apparently I missed that one) however they aren't planning on getting married until everyone can, gotta admire that...and Diane Kruger also isn't planning on getting married again either (but her and Josh are so damn cute!)...also cute? if UP were made in live action and in the 60s...and Vanity Fair released their Hollywood issue pictures and basically guys should wear suits all the time, don't you agree?

    hello hawtness

  • In some favoriteness....
SAM WORTHINGTON IS SINGLE. I mean what?

  • In Twilightness....
Ashley Green is next month's Teen Vogue covergirl. I mean it's sort of ridiculous how she can be cute Alice, cute Ashley girl-next-door as well as hot Maxim wha bam. Seriously Ashley, how do you do it?

  • In movie news...
The SAG awards were over the weekend and suprisingly I didn't really watch. And the two seconds I did watch, Christian Bale was accepting his speech and he didn't look like Jesus! Hooray (Hallelujah?). Anyhoo Jess did a great fashion post and Eggy just did a great run down of the show, so check them out.

  • In TV news...
How I Met Your Mother. Well we're not meeting the mother any time soon it looks like, but Barney is getting a dad. I won't spoil it, but click on through because his dad is a pretty big name.

  • And lastly in WTFness we have Andy Hill who, although good intentioned, tries to sell cats like used cars and it's just WEIRD.

So anything big I missed?

happy wednesday!

If I had live blogged the Oscar nominations...

It's no secret that I love all things Hollywood and that I know more than the average person about celebrities and movies and the entertainment industry in general. So it's also not a surprise that the day that Oscar nominations come out I get giddy. And then apparently I write a live blog response to the top contenders, because clearly that's what I should do. I mean I've done it the past two years so what's one more?

Shall we?

Actor in a Leading Role.
Um. Javier. in Biutiful. What?
The Dude is going for a twofer? Congrats man, I'll have a White Russian ready for you.
Nicely done Michael Cera 2.0 I always knew you'd make it uber big before he did.
Mr. Darcy, you played a king. It automatically gives you an advantage over everyone else in this category, just ask Helen Mirren or Judi Dench? Also, you're awesome.
And James, I'm still mad you're hosting. You can't be nominated and hosting, it's like against the golden rule of the Oscar's! I may just boycott your movie because of it. Clearly I am a child.

Actor in a Supporting Role.
Oh Mr. Bale, you really are the "King of New York" er Hollywood and I mean you're on my top ten list and you're Batman and please don't ever get that skinny and creepy again and get a hair cut, oh and I hope you win, like I really do.
John who? Apparently I need to see something called Winter's Bone.
Way to rep for Boston (and Affleck) Mr. Renner, nicely done.
Ruffalo just makes me want to say "Ruffioooooooooooo" and that's a good thing.
Oh Mr. Rush, another well deserved nomination.

Actress in a Leading Role.
Oh Anette? I guess I really do need to see this movie.
Nicole, not surprised. This movie looks so depressing but good and I sort of want to see it and now you're nominated so I guess I should.
Wait, Jennifer who? Winter's Bone. This movie is a mystery!
Hello again Natalie, nice to see you. Is your new home with your new fiance and your new baby ready for a new shiny gold award? Because it should be.
This makes two, Michelle! Two nominations for the girl from The Creek. The one that actually has a career, way to make me proud girl (because clearly it's all about me and my never ending Dawson's fandom, haha).

Actress in a Supporting Role.
GISELLE! Oh wait I made that joke two years ago, oh well I love it. As in you were nominated last year, as in nicely done Miss Adams, another top notch performance.
Helena I almost forgot you aren't totally crazy. This role was so unlike you and I loved it, but t hat doesn't mean I can't wait to see what you show up wearing to the Oscar's.
Miss Leo you worked that crazy blond hair and the crazy mom mode and my goodness, wow.
Hailee!! Ohmygoodness yes! You so deserved this, I mean you basically are True Grit. Just uh, please go down the Dakota route of acting and not Lilo okay? You're just so adorable.
Animal Kingdom? Like the Disney park? I doubt it, haha. Congrats Jackie, I guess I'll have to look into this one too.

Best Picture.
Black Swan you messed with my head but oh were you good.
A movie about boxing? I never thought I'd like one. And then The Fighter happened, another deserving nomination.
Am I dreaming? Inception got a nomination (haha horrible joke, horrible) and oh yes, does that mean Leo will be attending the awards this year? Yes please!
Okay I get it, I need to see The Kids are Alright. I swear I already have it on request from Netflix.
My vote to take home the big one: The King's Speech. I mean yes. Just yes.
127 Hours? Eh. Okay. Fine. Doesn't mean I'm going to watch it though.
Yes, I liked The Social Network. Don't get me wrong it's good. But I don't looooove it like everyone else and I don't want it to win.
Woody! Buzz! I mean apparently Pixar can't be happy with just one category, but that's okay I suppose, Toy Story 3 is amazing.
True Grit. Yes. Coen brothers you for once did not totally confuse me or annoy me, nicely done.
Apparently Winter's Bone is kind of a big deal, I need to get on this pronto.

You can check out the full list of nominees here.

So how did you feel about the nominees? Do you agree?

happy wednesday!

La la Hollywood.

So Hollywood, how goes it? Good? Sweet. Well. Let's go shall we?
  • Starting off this week's adorableness we have little Satyana Denisof and mama Alyson Hannigan. I mean seriously, her cuteness is almost too much.

    oh the cute, THE CUTE.

  • Also bringing some uber cuteness and half nekkidness is Matthew McConaguhey and his kidlets on the beach, seriously, adorable.

    adorableness.

  • In other bebe news, the Hollywood pregnancies just won't stop: Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban announced that a surrogate just delivered their new daughter (congrats!!) and Orlando Bloom took baby Flynn out for a stroll and my goodness the cuteness, lurve it....in other Hollywoodish, Tamera Mowry is engaged, Jim Carey is dating a former Top Model contestant, Ashley and Mary Kate's younger sister Elizabeth is breaking out in the acting world and Amy Adams looked fabulous at the PGA awards over the weekend, seriously heart her:

    va va voom.

  • In some favoritenss...
Hellooooo Keanu. I mean really, hello. Where have you been? Well apparently you finished that movie Henry's Crime and now you're interviewing about it? You know I'm a really good interviewer and a huge fan, just sayin.

Oh Gos. You are just so cute. Not only do you wear footed hoodie pajamas with Ellen but you sing on TV too? Let's be hip and grab coffee sometime okay?

And lastly, helloooo Joshua Jackson. I mean could you be any cuter? And really I promise to catch up on Fringe and watch it all the time and yes, I just need the summertime to do so, but I promise I will because "Ducks fly together!"

    oh hey hello there.

  • In today's Twilightish....
Eclipse got a ton of Razzie nominations, no surprise there.

Edward and Bella's love child has been revealed. And I can sort of see it. But seriously how weird will it be to see Kristen Stewart acting motherly? Honestly, Breaking Dawn truly worries me.

And apparently there was a still from BD released of Edward and Bella in bed? Sure.

In more imortantness, another trailer for WATER FOR ELEPHANTS, a movie I actually am excited about. weeee!

Also, Taylor Lautner is an a new non-Twilight movie as well, Abduction and I really don't know what it's about besides someone being abducted but Tay does look pretty good.

    apparently you can be badass
    and not be a werewolf.

  • In other movie news....
THE OSCAR NOMINATIONS ARE OUT TODAY! And since I write this post on Monday night I won't know anything yet. But they're out. And tomorrow will be my live blogging reaction to the nominees (come on Gos and Jack Kelly, I'm rootin for ya).

  • And in TV news....
Medium. Let's just get it out there. It was the series finale. SERIES as in IT'S OVER. No more adorable DuBois family, no more Joe, no more trippy episodes, kaput, goodbye. And I'm sad about it. Not only that, but the finale was HORRIBLE. Yes caps are so necessary to express my utter dislike in what happened. *spoiler alert* So um Joe died. Really? Was that necessary? No, no it was not. And then a fake dream in a dream and Joe's alive but he's not and then Allison dies 41 years later all alone eating Jell-O and Joe's there and it's a super over the top romantic reunion?? No freaking thank you. Just. NO.

Big Bang Theory. First of all, Rick Fox is one swoony man. Second, if you aren't watching this show you are missing out on some serious laughs. Because I never stop with this show, it's just too much and too funny and too nerdy and yes. Watch it.

Greek. Oh Cap, you are just so cute. I mean you really are. But um why is Dale an Omega Chi? I do not get this show sometimes, but I do love it, I really do.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news Bristol Palin is dating....wait why am I even talking about her. Eh moving on, in more WTFness Antoine Dodson has a reality show, because of course he does. Who doesn't have a reality show or a book deal these days? Hey MTV or Harper Collins I'm totally available and totally awesome, clearly.

So anything I missed? As always let me know.

happy tuesday!

Live blogging the Golden Globes.

I mean yeah this is three days later but I was on a plane Sunday night and then didn't have a chance to watch the show until Monday afternoon and I wanted to write about my weekend first and uh, so much. Anyhoo here's what I was typing as I was watching and expect a lot of "oooohs" and "ahhhhs" and "what the effs", haha:

Oh Ricky, loving the jokes about Angelina and Johnny and scientologists, luuurve it.

Christian Bale!!! Weeeeeeeee!!! But um, stop looking like Jesus please. And um what was that rant after the music starting playing?? Oh DeNiro is the shit, right.

Kuuuuurt!!! Gah this is just so damn cute. Can't stop the tears, just so much happiness and Lea is crying and I tear and YAY!

Oh Eva lay off the bronzer girl. But I sort of adore that black dress number, ooh la la.

Woa, Dex what is up with the red beard??!

Oh I wish I had HBO or Showtime, I miss out on so many of these damn shows. Wait Mark Walhberg produces Boardwalk Empire? Does he ever sleep?

Okay Angelina fixing Brad's tie? Precious.

Andrew Garfield is British??! And apparently needs glasses, haha.

J.Lo is just so damn sparkly.

I think that'll be the only award Burlesque wins, ever, haha.

Oh god. The Biebs. Why?? Why?? Oh but Hailee you are too darn cute.

Awww yay Toy Story 3, god that snippet made me all tearylike.

Ohmyod Robert Downey Jr.'s movies do sound like porn titles. Man he is hilarious.

Annette? Eh okay. Wait that movie is about lesbians? I had no idea.

Tilda why the eff are you talking so weird?

Aw Claire you're so cute and happy and bright!

Oh Zef. The Zef. You are all sorts of hawtness right now. Maybe I'll just go watch 17 Again, haha.

Steve and Tina can you make another movie together? You're just too ridiculous.

Social Network for the writing win, yeah there were a lot of words, haha.

Coach Sue for the win! And loving that dress and loving that speech.

Ooooh Rob you dashing man you, try not to look so bored next time you're on stage okay?

Vanessa and Blair, I'm pretty sure neither of you have aged. Holy good looking.

Oh hey Kaley, sort of loving that dress.

Bazinga! Sheldon wins, Sheldon wins!!!

Yes Melissa Leo, you look so much better with your natural hair color and look, you won! Being a crazy bitch ass mom pays off, clearly.

Matt Damon, you are adorable. Adorable.

Is Tom Hooper James Cameron's son? Because man he looks like it.

Woooa there January, that is one hell of a dress. I mean woa.

Glee is the best comedy? Okay I'll take it, I watch it, I lurve it. Aw wow like the WHOLE cast is there, that is nuts. But also super cute and just yay.

Va va voom Halle, woo.

Joseph, dear Joseph you are freaking adorable (and hot and cute and yeah just hot).

Nicely done Natalie, nicely done. Although that dress? Eh. Not totally sold on it.

Sandy! Can you see past those bangs lady? Also, smile please, k thanks.

Oh be still my sweet heart Ryan Gosling you are one dapper young man.

Yay Colin! Yay just yay! A triangle of man love? Love it.

I can't believe I've actually seen all of the drama nominations, go me.

Um. Nope. Wouldn't have picked Social Network, definitely not. Probably King's Speech or The Fighter. Oh well.

So when are the Oscars?

Hollywood is pregnant.

So I was totally going to write a Hollywood post yesterday but all I coudl think of was: BABIES! And then I got tired and figured I'd just save it for today. And guess what? Since I waited, there are more BABIES! Anyhoo, Hollywood time so here we go:
  • Bringing some major cuteness we have Ellen Pompeo and her daughter Stella. I mean yes, big slouchy hat and glasses for a baby? And that baby is mixed? All around cuteness win.

the adorableness is almost too much.

  • Also bringing too much cuteness for my ovaries to handle, the Madden-Richie family out for a stroll. Seriously Harlow is so big and cute (and wearing a tutu! I'm a sucker for tutus) and Sparrow, precious!

    the cute! cute!

  • In other baby news, my favorite little sister turned two! Happy Birthday Seraphina Affleck!

In more bebe news, everyone in Hollywood is pregnant! Okay not everyone but here's who has announced it in the past two weeks: Natalie Portman (she's also engaged), Victoria Beckham (oh please let it me a girl she can put baby high heels and black dresses and play Spice Girls for), Marion Cotillard, Owen Wilson's girlfriend, Tia Mowry (I know there's a Sister, Sister joke in there somewhere), Jewel, Jane Krakowski, and announced today: Kate Hudson.

And in some non-baby news: Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin split after eight years together (sad), Reese Witherspoon got engaged (congrats!), David Arquette went to rehab (no surprise there), Edward Furlong got arrested (even less of a surprise),

  • In some favoriteness...
Although I'm Team Pacey for life, I totally enjoyed seeing James Van Der Beek take over Funny or Die last week. In case you missed it, check out his site: JamesVanDerMemes.com and enjoy the awesome (tell them I sent you!).

Oh.My.Goodness.Swooooooooon. Let's all swoooooon together people. To who you ask? I mean to Ryan Gosling of course! Just when we thought he couldn't get more adorable he goes on Ellen and rides a stationary bike and wears a hooded footie! Gah! The cuteness! Just watch. And I dare you not to swoon.

    love it.

  • In today's Twilight news....
Maybe I should just call it the Rob news? Because again nothing Twilight related, rather new images from Water for Elephants (which actually made me squeal in theaters when I saw the preview before Black Swan, haha).

aw Rob and Rosie, is Kristen jealous?

well she must be jealous now.

  • In music news....
Britney Spears' new album is coming out March 15. Huzzah! I mean wait, what?

The Holiday. As I mentioned, my friend Courtney got me the score to The Holiday aka the bestest most beautiful score ever! I mean I only own a few scores because only so often do I feel like listening to music without words, but oh this album is one of them. I CANNOT STOP. And then it makes me want to watch the movie again and I have to refrain because HELLO THREE TIMES IN ONE MONTH is a little excessive and it's not holiday time anymore and just yes, I'm rambling. Point: LOVE THIS SCORE (AND CAPS ARE SO NECESSARY!)

  • And in TV news....
Wicked. Let's be clear here, the BOOK (which I detested) not the MUSICAL (that I adore) is being made into a mini series steered by Salma Hayek. I'm curious basically. Curious to see if I enjoy this adaptation more that the actual book or if I'm just as turned off by it. Nonetheless there is plenty of potential here.

How I Met Your Mother. First of all, spoiler alert central. Second of all, WHY!? Why did Marhsall's dad have to die?!?? I mean I knew the countdown was to something big and I knew Lily was going to get pregnant eventually (they've already showed it) but Marshall's dad? Just gah, punch to the stomach people, punch to the freaking stomach!

Grey's Anatomy. Okay. I admit. As dumb and annoyed as I was with another episode with a mass shooting, it was a good episode. AND WE GOT CRISTINA BACK (hurrah! hurrah!). But yeah some good issues brought up and everyone lived (apparently Shonda was in a good mood because I don't remember the last time that actually happened).

Greek. It's back, it's back! And um. Apparently Cappie is VanWilder, Rusty has a thing for Ashley, Casey is staying at CRU and ummm, yes I love this show.

Glee. Um. How do I say this gently? Um. I DON'T WANT A FREAKING BIEBER EPISODE. Okay there I said it. It was reported that there will be a Bieber themed episode happening with Sam starting a boy band. Just no. No thank you. Do not want. Return to sender.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have designer bangs. No really, have you ever wanted bangs and just couldn't wait long enough for your hair to grow? Well then Designer Bangs are just for you!

So anything I missed? More babies? Let me know!

happy wednesday!

Whip my Hollywood.

Why yes I'm sharing some Hollywood news on a Tuesday, wahoo! So here we go:
  • Starting off this week's cuteness is my oh so favorite family of Hollywood ( (I mean I know I shared them last week but HELLO they are my favorites), the Garner ladies. Seriously Seraphina is just all sorts of cute and belated birthday girl Violet just looks adorable as always. Seriously heart them all.

the cutest is just too much right now.

  • Also bringing some serious cuteness is Reese Witherspoon and her kids celebrating her star on the walk on fame. Seriously Ava and Deacon look just like her and Ryan, it's adorable.

seriously they are such a cute little fam.

  • In other bebe news, are you pregnant? Why not try taking some Prenatal pole dancing...moving on from the bebes, did you know that the Bakerella and Blake Lively are buddies now? Yeah they really are and it's super adorable...also adorable? Emma Stone. Even if I'm not a fan of her new blonde do, she's still charming...another blonde making headlines, Taylor Swift and her latest guy, Jake Gylenhaal are getting coffee all over town (it's adorable becasue she's only 20, well for another week at least)...in other news, Josh Duhamel and Kevin Smith are not having any luck flying this week...and lastly Willow Smith will be whipping her hair New Year's Eve on Dick Clark's show. I mean what? She's only 10! How accomplished do you feel right now? Haha.

  • In some favoriteness...
Michelle Williams, how are you smiling so coyly? I'd probably be grinning ear to ear if this were me:

    why hellooooo there.

And because we can never have enough Ryan Gosling, swoooon:

    swooooon.

Also, KEANU! SHAVE PLEASE. That is all.

  • In some Twilight news...
I am now the proud owner of Eclipse and it was just as corny and as wonderful as I remember. And now I really feel like I have it to watch it with the commentary after reading the Letters to Rob recap.

Also, Dr. Cullen looks like he just stepped out of a Gap ad and I'm sort of digging it:

add a scarf and this outfit
    would be set.

  • In movie news...
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I. Oh. Man. This movie was amazing. So dark and twisty (Grey's reference for two points) and I actually jumped a few times.

  • In TV news...
Top Model. Spoiler alert, spoiler alert. Okay not really, we all knew it'd be freaking Ann for the beginning. Freaking Tyra LOVES the awkward girls, no really she does. I could be a judge and just say I love the awkward girl and her crazy eyes and slouchy walk and monotone voice and I'd be right every time. Gah. Clearly you can tell, I was not a fan of this pick. I wasn't really a Chelsea fan either, I was rooting for Kayla actually and I was so bummed she didn't make it, girl was fierce (even if she had sort of an annoying voice as well, details, details). Anyways, maybe next season there will actually be a winner (heck a top two) I like. And for the giffarific recap, check out Four Four.

Grey's Anatomy. Spoiler, spoiler. Arizona is back? Cristina is better...ish? (freaking finally). Teddy's going to marry Jennifer Garner's ex? I mean what? Okay I give it to you Shonda, you're getting creative but I miss the twisted sisters so please let's resolve that issue next year. Also, another shooting coming up!?! I mean NO. Stop it. New plot line please. Thank you. Love, a loyal fan.

Glee. A tie? At regionals? I mean of course they did. And um Ms. Pilsbury is married? And Rachel and Finn broke up? What the what? Eh, just give me some Christmas music tonight and I should be okay. Thanks.

How I Met Your Mother. Aw we finally see a pregnant Lily? Even if it was a look to the future and a ridiculous story with Barney. And would it be bold of me to say that Zoe could be the mother? I mean what if she was Rachel Bilson's roommate before she married the Captain? I mean, it's possible right? Maybe? I just know we NEED TO MEET THE MOTHER soon please.

The Soup. Joel McHale has signed on for two more years to the Soup, huzzah!!

  • Lastly in today's WTF news, the Hogan ladies. Brace yourselves. It's not pretty.

and don't forget to enter my Lean Pockets giveaway! Seriously, a YEAR'S WORTH OF LEAN, PEOPLE!

So anything I missed?

happy tuesday!

Some Hollywood reactions.

So clearly I didn't post a Hollywood post yesterday (for shame!) and it's really because being gone most of a week makes it nearly impossible to stock up for a post and write all about it and just yeah, it wasn't easy. And then having so much to do Monday night made it impossible to write something, so yeah I apologize, I know you reallllly wanted your Hollywood scoop. And to make up for it, I'm taking a new approach at Hollywood today by simply sharing some of the biggest stories of the week and my reaction to them, because clearly that's what awesome people do (and ridiculous people). So, here we go:

The Garner/Affleck family out and about. Really not a story but rather just a excuse for me to share the cutest family in Hollywood (I mean seriously, it's hard to top their cuteness). And they're all together, doesn't that just make you say "awwwwwwwww"?

Ann Hathaway and James Franco are hosting the Oscars. UM. Excuse me? I mean I know Hugh was busy (seriously I could watch him host any time) but really, that's who you came up with? No offense to Ann or James but really? Really!? I get you want to target the younger crowd but why not Tina Fey or Neil Patrick Harris, they'd both be awesome and they're funny without really even trying. And what if James is nominated next year? That's just awkward. Anyways I guess I can't judge just yet, but hey Academy if you're looking for hosts for 2012 I'll totally try out for the job.

Spider Man the musical sells a million dollars in presale. Yes because when I first think of Spider Man I think MUSICAL! Don't get me wrong, I love a good musical but I really have no desire whatsoever to check out this production, maybe if it was Batman and Christian Bale was the lead, just maybe then.

Eclipse comes out on DVD Friday at midnight. First of all, YES. The Twinerd in me is way to excited to watch this movie again. But the old person in me is like "what the eff? why a midnight release of a DVD?? I am not fighting crazy tweens for my copy at Target."

Glee - Furt. I'm a week behind, but I sort of loved Sue. Her dress, standing up to her mom, protecting her sister, sort of standing up for Kurt. It was just a mushfest and I liked it (well most of it). But um Kurt leaving? Not so cool, not at all. What is that saying about bullying? Leave? Run away? Tell everyone what really happened Kurt! Please!? I mean yes it's hard and I get it (and I know this isn't real life) but you just can't leave.

Johnny Depp in Vanity Fair. Not much to share their either except his interview is pretty interesting since he's such a private person. Also, he's swoony in that "maybe he's dirty, maybe he's really tan, brooding, mysterious, crazy" sort of way.

And that my friend's is a bit of Hollywood with a dash of reflection, schnazzy pants. So anything else big I might have missed? Let me know!

happy wednesday!

Hollywood goes bezerk.

So of course I take a week off of Hollywood and then it goes bezerk, like seriously so many big stories I don't even know if this blog can handle it. Well it won't hurt to give it a try, so here we go:
  • Starting off this week's adorableness we have the oh so cute Hannigan-Denisof family and seriously they make me smile and they should totally have a play date with Violet and Seraphina, I mean how cute would that be!?

so darn cute and smiley I love it!

  • Also looking oh so freaking adorable is baby Hank hanging on to mama Kendra. Seriously that boy is just so darn cute I almost can't handle it.

    oh he is just presh.

  • In other bebe news one of my favorites, P!nk, is going to be a mama! I sort of have a girl crush on her and can't wait to see her and Carey as parents...also joining the new mama club, Rachel Zoe, I don't care too much about that one since I don't watch her show or really even know who she is, but congrats nonetheless...in not so fun news, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are splitting after only three years of marriage and apparently it's because he had an "affair" with a teammates wife? Um what? Seriously what is with some people??....However in oh so exciting news and opposite of divorce was the announcement that Prince William is ENGAGED to Kate Middleton. I mean yes, a royal wedding is coming and how freaking awesome is that? And um hey royal family I am totally free next Spring and I LOVE weddings and I'm basically a pro so you can just add me to that list okay? Sweet...Oh and Jessica Simpson is conveniently engaged too, hurrah (sarcasm)...but really back to William and Kate, I mean seriously, how cute are they?!? And Diana's ring? And her dress? Yeah they're pretty damn adorable.

I sort of want her dress and hey the ring
would be a nice addition too, haha.

  • In some favorites news...
Ryan Reynolds is People's sexiest man of the year. After seeing that man in person once I can't really debate that choice and I'm just glad it's someone new. So yay Ryan and Scarlett you are a lucky biotch.

    why hello there Mr. Reynolds.

NKOTB is totally back. I mean yeah I'll forever be a fan, I can't help it. And the NKOTB and BSB performance at the AMA's sort of makes my heart happy.

    hangin' tough!
or more like Step by Step oooooh baby.

  • And in today's Twilight news...
So apparently on their honeymoon in Breaking Dawn Bella and Edward jump in waterfalls? Clearly it's been too long since I've read the books but that's the scene Rob and Kristen have been filming and just year, cute? I don't know.

In other Twilight news and not involving a Jonas Brothers, I might have a girl crush on Ashley Greene. Seriously how does she always look so damn pretty? But I do adore her and just want her to be Alice anyways, so yeah here's Ashley at a Mark event.

    seriously, so pretty.

  • In movie news...
Harry Potter. No I haven't seen the new movie yet, but I really can't wait to whenever I get a chance. And to celebrate this is hands down my favorite video of the cast learning to speak American, "the freedom language", haha. Seriously even if you're not an HP fan, check it out.

We Bought a Zoo. I recently read this memoir about a family that takes over a rundown zoo and the movie adaptation recently announced it's casting and it's some pretty great names so far. This movie has potential to pretty interesting.

Disney announced that they won't be making any more fairy tale movies. I don't really know how I feel about this only because I can't think of any fairy tales they haven't done but at the same time it's sad they won't make any more cartoons based on the classics.

  • In some music news...
Girl Talk. Listen and enjoy. That is all.

  • In some TV news...
Glee. I can't get the "Umbrella/Singing in the Rain" mashup out of my head! So damn catchy and I don't even like "Umbrella"! Also, TOTS! Don't know why but that had me cracking up. Also, what the heck was Mr. Shue's "dream" with him and Mike? That seriously made no sense to the whole episode.

Top Model. And we're down to TWO. And not the two I would have picked. *SPOILER* I was seriously rooting for Kayla and I'm bummed she didn't make the final cut and Jane was eh but I was a fan. However Jane and Ann's drunken night was all sorts of entertaining. Anyways I can't wait to see Ann on the catwalk because holy hell will that be a show, haha. And a full fabulous recap here as usual.

Medium. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the only people under 40 that loves this show so I'm not surprised it got the boot after seven seasons but I am sad. The DuBois family is one of the best and most realistic (minus Allison's ridiculous amount of pajamas and her mediumness) families on TV and I'll be sad to see them go.
The Big Bang Theory. Frickity Frack! I mean yes Sheldon needs to be real and be my friend. However he has some new regular friends of his own, the newest ladies of the show have been promoted to regulars (woo Bridgette and Amy!).

Grey's Anatomy. Dear Shonda, I want Cristina Yang back. Love, Katelin.

And for the TV lovers like myself check out this awesome video of some of the best catch phrases in TV history.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news the effing Duggars keep reproducing and it needs to be stopped. The oldest Duggar kid (who is married and has a one year old and is ONLY TWENTY TWO) announced that he and his wife are expecting a second child. Seriously are they trying to take over the world?!?! And running in close second to the crazies is another family that has EIGHTEEN KIDS (and none of them are twins!). STOP IT PEOPLE, STOP IT.

So anything I missed this week? Let me know!

happy tuesday!

Minnie Muse, Minnie Muse!

So despite still being sickish (still, I know right? This is getting ridiculous) I moseyed on over to Hollywood Tuesday night for a fabulous little shindig that I just have to blog about (I mean I'm a blogger, that's what I do).

I was invited as media (doesn't that sound fancy?? also I'm becoming a fan of the parenthesis as if you couldn't tell) to the Minnie Muse launch event at the Forever 21 store at Hollywood and Highland and I was more than excited to go.

I invited my friend Cameron to come with me because she is one of the biggest Disney fans that I know and she's new to LA so I figured what better way to celebrate than with an event that was Disneycentric?

me and Cameron with one of
the Minnie displays.

The whole purpose of the event was to promote a new line of Minnie Mouse inspired clothing coming to Forever 21 stores this week and I gotta say, I'm sold. All of the clothes (okay most) were so darn cute and I definitely had to buy my own Minnie inspired cardigan. Besides the adorable clothing the party itself was just so cute. There were models wearing the Minnie clothes, freaking fantastic desserts, a candy bar, a soda bar, random reality star celebs (Stephanie Pratt, Miss J, Vanessa Simmons, some Disney girls, and a real housewife), good music and just an all around good time.

And back to that reality star bit, MISS J was there. As in the best person on Top Model (sorry Tyra, I love you and your crazies but Miss J has my ANTM heart) J. Alexander was moseying around the VIP area and did try to make his way to the main floor but was immediately swamped with fans (I mean of course, he's awesome!). But I was admittedly most excited to see him and his awesomeness there, I just wanted him to walk a fake runway.

Miss J and Vanessa Simmons
I sort of heart them both.

Anyhoo here are some more iphonearific (I may coin that) pics from the evening:

the oh so delicious cake balls from

some of the adorable Minnie clothes.

the window display, adorable.

As media I was fortunate enough to receive a lovely gift bag and ohmygod I'm in love. On top of the Minnie cardigan I bought, the gift bag had three freaking adorable shirts and two Minnie notebooks and seriously I'm in love.

"modeling" my new cardigan and Minnie ears,
courtesy of the fabulous Tara (the hostess of the evening).

the three shirts from my gift bag,
LOVE THEM.

All in all it was a loverly night all around and I'm so glad my sickness didn't get the best of me.

To get in on the Minnie Muse action visit Forever 21's site.

happy thursday!

*Redlight PR invited me to this event and I wasn't compensated in any way and wasn't asked to blog about this but clearly I was all over going because hellooo it's awesome and schnazzy and I wanted to write about it and the gift bag was just a lovely thank you, okay FTC? we're friends right?*

It's a teenage dream in Hollywood.

So I'm all hopped up on Ricola and functioning on little sleep (damn you sickness) so this could be an interesting post, then again when is Hollywood not chock full of interesting. Anyhoo enough rambling, here we go:
  • Starting off this week's cuteness we have little Satyana Denisof with her parents Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof. I mean yeah it's from Halloween but still, the cuteness!!

    all sorts of cuteness
  • Also bringing some major cuteness is little August having some fun with his mom, my favorite TV cop (well besides Eliot) Mariska Hargitay. Seriously I can't believe he's four already and he looks so much like mom!

    so cute!

  • Continuing with the bebe talk, Baby Spice is expecting another baby! I mean yes that's adorable and cute and congrats to the growing family...more bebeness is taking over this month's issue of W with a spread with Katherine Heigl and Nahleigh and a very pregnant and very naked Miranda Kerr as well as a snippet with Madonna...Cirque Du Soleil announced that they are launching a new show: A MICHAEL JACKSON SHOW, yes please sign me up!... apparently India is having an owl shortage and it's all due to the love of Harry Potter, there should be a spell for that....in other HP news, apparently Voldemort and some death eaters took over Grand Central Station, how trippy would that be to see?...and rounding out the HP coverage, Emma Watson is on the cover of this month's Marie Claire and seriously I adore her and how normal she is and how very Twiggyesque her new hairdo is, check out more of the interview and pics here:

she is just so chic I love it.

  • In some favoritness...
Sam! We have a Sam sighting people! Now I'm not too fond of the hair business but it's for a movie role so I'll give him that, but helloooo Sam.

    why hellooo there.

NKOTB is going on tour again and this time with the Backstreet Boys. I mean talk about a teenage girl fantasy (errr teenage girls that are now my age and older, haha). I can't decide if I'm going to go yet but still, loving it.

So you know I'm a Craig David fan right? Well check out this band's cover of one of his best songs, "7 Days" it's pretty catchy.

  • In today's Twilight news...
The filming of Breaking Dawn has officially started! I mean I don't know why I added an exclamation point because I am still so skeptical about this story being turned into a movie. Anyways, some of the first shots of Kristen and Rob on set have emerged and I sort of adore her dress and the fact that her hair doesn't look horrible and fake (a la Eclipse) and just yes.

    presh! the married couple.

  • In movie news...
I totally forgot that Emma Stone is Skeeter in the movie adaptation of The Help and there are some new pics of her on set, I am so curious how this movie turns out.

  • In TV news...
Top Model. They're in ITALY! I might have actually teared up a bit when they were exploring Venice because all I could say was "WE WERE JUST THERE!" Other than that, I had to rewind to listen to Lisa's "I don't know where Milan is, is that like Mulan in Japan?" I mean what the eff?! She deserved to go home. And for a full gif filled recap, visit four four.

Glee. Um what was up with all the Beast fantasies? Creepy. However, not creepy the guys acapella singing "Teenage Dream", I was officially swooned (and yes that's a word). And the KISS, hello the KISS! Weeeeeird. I mean yeah it makes sense but wow, did not see that one coming. And hello where was Kurt's dad when he's going through a hard time? His dad is always there for him and I love it, I mean yeah I know he's recovering and all but still, I miss their relationship.

Grey's Anatomy. Cristina quit?! Um. Not allowed. Bring the old Cristina back like now. And Arizona is gone? I know she was pregnant in real life but three years in Africa? Yeah no thank you, let's fix that. And seriously Sloane and Lexie, heart them.

How I Met Your Mother. Aw Zoie has a heart, sort of. And Barney has a dad! And Robin and Barney were way too funny touching all of the artifacts at the museum, ridiculous.

The Mentalist. Finally, Lisbon gets some action, haha. And a bagillionaire at that. Other than that another ridiculously entertaining episode and Patrick was dashing per usual, woo.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news a woman went on Wheel of Fortune and solved a puzzle with ONE LETTER. ONE LETTER and this woman solved it and my goodness what a lucky/smart/crazy guess.

So anything I missed? I mean yeah I saw that twit and twat are broke but let's not forget I will not talk about them on here any more and someone was kicked off Dancing with the Stars, I don't watch that. So yeah anything big I missed?

happy wednesday!

The cuteness of Hollywood.

Another Tuesday, another day in Halloween full of cuteness and ridiculousness and everything in between, so let's get to it shall we:
  • Starting off this week's bebe cuteness we have the oh so adorable and super smiley Naleigh Kelley with mom, Katherine Heigl taking a stroll.

    ohmygod her cheeks! the smile!
    ah! precious!

  • Also bringing way too much cuteness is little Seraphina Affleck hanging out on mama Jen's lap. I mean really, I didn't think this kid could get any cuter but she's pretty dang adorable.

    so freaking adorable.

  • In other bebe news Jessica Capshaw (aka Arizona Robbins on Grey's Anatomy) is a mom again! She welcomed a daughter, Eve Augusta last week, congrats!...in other bebe news, check out PopSugar's gallery of celeb families and couples and just celebs in general that got into the Halloween spirit...Zach Galifinakis decided to light it up on Bill Maher's show, he is truly ridiculous...Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent were spotted leaving lunch together, seriously what an odd pair...also an odd maybe couple - Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe, hmmmm....need a wedding singer? Apparently Nick Lachey is up for the job after singing at a wedding over the weekend...Demi Lovato has checked herself into a treatment center, I gotta say good for her to take care of herself before something bad happened (a la La Lohan or Britt Britt)...and hello Paul Walker! Seriously the man must drinking the same stuff Leo is, the guys never age:

    hellooo Mr. Walker.

  • In some favorites news...
Keanu is making the rounds again. I swear anything he does now is going to be turned into a meme, haha. But oh how I love it, Keanu you are so weird and so awesome.

    I don't even know, haha.

  • In Twilight news...
It's been almost a year since I interviewed the cast of New Moon and basically had the most ridiculously surreal day of my life. I mean a year, how insane is that? And clearly I don't have anything new to share about Twilight so how about a Rob picture!

just oh so much swoon here.

  • In movie news...
Now don't get me wrong I admitted to liking Avatar (and hello Sam Worthington) but really a second and a third movie in the making?? Is that really necessary James Cameron? I mean really.

The third Batman movie officially has a title, The Dark Knight Rises. And the Riddler is not the villain. And that's all we've got. And sadly these small facts have me waaay too freaking excited, haha.

  • In TV news...
Grey's Anatomy. How about we never do a documentary type episode again okay? Thanks. It was pretty horrible and annoying to watch. And um Arizona and Callie are moving to Africa? Say what? And it was so not necessary to kill Mandy Moore's character, that was just all sorts of sad and I was not a fan. So how about this week we have a better episode okay Shonda? Thanks.

Desperate Housewives. But I don't want Mike to leaaaave. And how come no one has said anything about Gaby's niece or Tom's daughter? The mystery kids of the show I swear. And speaking of Tom I'm glad he shut it because he just gets so damn annoying sometimes. And Bree and Keith are pretty dang adorable, I am a fan.

How I Met Your Mother. Robin's commercial, priceless. But what's even better and has nothing to do with last night's episode...THE RETURN OF ROBIN SPARKLES! Ohmygod I'm so excited for the November 15th episode where Robin's Canadian pop star alter ego returns.

Project Runway. What. The. Eff. I didn't even get to watch the finale but I couldn't even bring myself to after I heard about the winner. REALLY? REALLY? Ugh. Ridiculous.

  • Lastly in today's WTFness we have Jersey Shore Jr. I mean yes it's hilarious and it's cute but it's also a big pile of WTF what is happenin to the children!?! But yes I laughed and then I cringed but still laughed because ohmygodrealityshowsaretakingovertheworld.

let's just hope they don't fake tan too, haha.

So anything I missed? Let me know!

happy tuesday!
