When bloggers and Vegas collide.

Oh what a weekend. I know I say that almost every weekend but really, this weekend in Vegas with a bagillion bloggers was amazing to say the least. So be warned, a long post ahead, but full of pictures and awesomeness and enjoy!

Friday: Matt and I woke up earlyish, packed and were on our way to Vegas. Four and a half hours later we finally arrived! We made our way to Bally's and checked in before heading down to MGM to pick up our KA tickets (seriously, what a freakin walk that was). Afterwards we came back and relaxed a bit before meeting everyone for dinner at Caeser's Palace. And ohmygosh dinner was fantastic. The food was okay, but the company was phenomenal. With twenty two people I believe we took over the place. It was hilarious and so fun getting to see everyone and being silly and hanging out, loved it. I also loved that everyone loved Matt, it made me happy. And I think the fact that he was really good at opening crab legs helped too, haha. Unfortunately Matt and I didn't get to stay at dinner too long because we had to go and see KA, which wasn't a bad reason to leave, haha.

So after sprinting down the street we made it to KA just in time and loved it (you can read more about it over at the review blog, woo). After the show Matt and I just walked around MGM and New York, New York a bit before heading to a piano bar with some of the girls. It was so fun and seriously a great start to the weekend.

oh Vegas at night how I love you.

Saturday: Had to wake up at the crack of dawn to go to some time share presentation but once that was over Matt and I were on our way. After some directional mishap with the bus riding we eventually made it down to the Luxor to hang by the pool with Jamie, Jessica and Allie. It was such a nice day out, we all just relaxed and had some drinks and it was loverly.

After the pool Matt and I headed to the Ventian to meet up with a bunch of people at this delicious little Italian place in the Venetian. Seriously, I think we laughed the whole time and man was the food tasty, I had this cauliflower pasta and mmmmm is all I can say to describe it. After our late lunch Matt and I headed back to our hotel to get ready for the night (seriously I think we walked a million miles this weekend, not even kidding my feet are dying!).

Eventually we met up with everyone at this awesome bar in the Venetian that had great happy hour specials and fantastic bathrooms, not even kidding, award winning even.

yes I took a picture and can't you see why it wins awards? so nice!

Basically we took the place over and took a million pictures and it was so much fun!

me and the fabulous Nicole, seriously love this girl

Allie, Kerri, Andrea, Feisty and Freckled, and me, heart them!

haha, Jessica and I being devious with our wine

Oh man was it a great time, I'm pretty sure we ran the place for a couple hours. Eventually we headed out and down the strip with drinks in hand and craziness ensued. And by crazy I mean there was some roaring, some fountain jumping, some gnome spotting, some drunkenness, some McDonald'sness and all around a fabulous night in Vegas!

Doni and I made friends with the travelocity gnome.

Jamie and I practiced smiling with our eyes Tyra would be so proud.

the girls hopped in the fountain, for the win!

Matt and Nicole doing I don't know what, haha

seriously those drinks were delicious!

Seriously, most amazing night ever. Love everyone that was there.

Sunday: Oh Sunday morning was a little rough, just a wee bit hungover. After checking out Matt and I headed over to brunch at the Bellagio with Jamie, Jessica and Allie. Seriously there was so much food, it was amazing! And my stomach was oh so satisfied. Afterwards Matt and I headed out but not before checking out the Bellagio garden.

loved these.

I dared Matt to try and lick the water spout, haha.

After the garden we (aka Matt pointed it out and I can't say no to a slot machine) found the most amazing slot machine ever. It had a ginormous screen and lots of lights and colors and was only a penny so it automatically won my vote. I really had no idea how to play but I ended up winning fifteen dollars which made up for the fifteen I lost earlier in the weekend. Seriously, best way to leave Vegas, breaking even... sort of, haha.

Eventually we left and made it home in time to watch the Lakers win, woo woo and relaxed the rest of our weekend away.

All in all one fabulous weekend and I'm so glad I got to go. To all the bloggers that went, seriously loved you all and hopefully we can all meet again! And to the bloggers that didn't go, you better come next time! :)

And how was your weekend?

happy monday!

What happens in Vegas...

Ends up on the internet! Obviously.

As you're reading this Matt and I are gearing up for the lovely trek to Sin City to meet up with some of the most fabulous bloggers, where we will all drink some yard margaritas, play some penny slots, and lounge by the pool.

Seriously, I'm so excited. I haven't been to Vegas in a year and a half and never with so many people before!

So expect some pictures and stories and maybe some video come Monday and hope you all have a most fabulous weekend!!

happy weekend all!

Pretty Sandy Reviews.

So a couple weeks ago I had this idea. Why not start another blog? Yeah I don't know why I thought I could do two blogs, but I did and somehow I still do. The idea never left and alas we have my newest venture....

My own review blog...pretty sandy reviews!

I figured why not have a blog to review the movies I watch, the books I read and everything in between. Don't worry Hollywood TV recaps and what not will still be on this blog, but I figured why not have a blog to review everything else.

So feel free to come on over when I post some reviews (expect a lovely Vegas one next week) and let me know what you think!

happy thursday!

Dear Life, with love.

It's been a while since I've written any letters, so what am I doing today?

Writing letters. Duh.

Dear Las Vegas,

Please be hot (but not too hot) this weekend. Please don't take all of my money. Actually how about you make me a super mega millionaire off of the penny slots. That would be fantastic. And please let me stay up incredibly late and not get hungover. That would be magical. Oh oh and before I forget, please let all my bloggy friends arrive safely and let us all have a most fantabulous time eva!!

Sincerely,
A girl that can only handle Vegas once a year

Dear Josh Kelley and Ryan Cabrera,

Shame on you! (yes it's one of Ryan's song titles) But really, shame! You get me all excited that you two were touring together and you even release a new catchy tune that I've played approximately 298490869 times BUT you don't come to LA! What the eff?! You both are from here! You both live here! Ah! Blasphemy!

So just know, even if I am listening to your song non-stop, it doesn't mean I'm not mad at you. So get your act together and come perform in the LA area!

Thanks,

One of the ten people that actually likes/has heard of both of you :)

Dear Rob,

May I call you Rob? Well of course I can, we're friends right? Right? Anyways I just wanted to say thanks. Thanks for being awkward and dorky and brooding and adorable and mmmmm all at once. No really, thank you for that.

Sincerely,

Katelin Pattinson ... too much? Okay Katelin Cullen? Eh... Katelin Pattullen. Yes that works, haha.

Dear Fiance,

One. I hope your MRI goes well. And then seriously, stop being injured! :)
Two. Thank you for indulging me in the crazy that will be this weekend in Vegas. I promise my blogger friends are real and not creepy stalkers or anything and you'll probably love all of them after the weekend is done.
Three. We're getting married!

Love,

your fiancee

Dear Lakers,

Please win the NBA championship. And please don't give Matt too much of a heart attack in the process. He stresses out and it stresses me out and then I laugh and then Matt gets more stressed. So really, do all of LA a favor and kick some Orlando ass.

Thanks,

One of the bagillions of people that will be rooting for Kobe and company.

Dear future wedding,

I'm so excited to plan you! Seriously, out of nowhere I've just gotten a wave of excitement and cute DIY ideas and color schemes and cards and videos and possible reception locations and ah! Now if only my budget was limitless, that would be even more amazing. But really wedding, you're going to rock, I just know it.

Love,

the future bride :)

Dear cookies that are in my pantry,

Stop taunting me! You are not helping "Project Get Katelin Fit" at all! So really. Disappear or I'll be forced to eat you. And it won't be pretty.

Sincerely,

A girl trying to rekindle her relationship with the Wii Fit

Dear Jodi Picoult,

I'm reading your newest book and I'm only about 50 pages in and I really like it already. You pick the most interesting topics to write about and I love that you switch narrators every chapter and yeah. Sort of love all of your stories, even if they are incredibly emotional and wow. I can handle it...most of the time, haha.

Thanks,

a readaholic

And those are my letters for today. Any letters you'd write today?

happy wednesday!

A tasty day in Hollywood.

Tuesday? Why yes it is. Helloooo Hollywood day. Let's get to it. Oh! But first, the skirt from my pics last weekend and that I posted yesterday is from H&M. A lot of you asked, so I answer. And moving on to Hollywood....
  • Today's first cute lilttle one we have the ever adorable Suri Cruise. It's been a while since she's graced this blog but this picture just made my heart melt a little bit:

yummy donut and adorable mommy and me time

  • And keepin with the cute bebes and food theme of today, one of my most favoritest little guys, Sasha Schrieber with his parents enjoying some ice cream:

    so precious!

  • Also in bebe news, apparently Jennifer Hudson is pregnant! Congrats Jennifer! However I wonder what she'll name the baby since she's already named her pets Grammy, Oscar and Dreamgirl. So will her baby be Effie?

  • Okay movin on from the bebes for real, time for some MTV Movie Awards shiznit (oh yes I said shiznit). I just finished watching it and I gotta say it wasn't all that bad. The Bruno bit had me laughing out loud, Andy's opening was pretty entertaining, the whole Twilight crew was hoooot (awkward, but hot), Ben Stiller's award was funny, Jim Carrey's inner monologue was classic. But yeah all in all not a bad show.

  • And speaking of MTV awardness and Twilight. Oh Twilight!!! Can it be November yet? Although it may not be the best preview, I got chills just watching the preview again.

    oh hello sexual tension

    hello hawtness

Oh and the whole cast was there and ah! Heart them. But wait, why was Catherine Hardwicke sitting next to Billy Zane?! Are they dating? What a funny couple. But I do heart Billy, he was in Titanic, I mean really!

    love it.

  • Also in movie news that's not Twilight. Toy Story 3!!! The kid in me is so excited for this movie to come out next summer. And the teaser trailer is adorable! I cannot wait.

  • And in TV news....
The Hills. Oh the Hills. What a freaking ridiculous finale. Spencer talking in third person, Justin Bobby looking like the hobo, fake fights about Holly, Heidi looking like the most ridiculous bride ever and gah. Officially done with this show. I know Kristin is taking over Lauren's spot and I'm sort of curious to see how it plays out but I will resist, I will! And gah the wedding, Heidi and Spencer make me want to vom.

They especially make me want to vom that I will in no way watch that I'm a Celebrity crap, especially since they've both already threatened to leave and gah. However, this picture did tempt me to watch:

    what a doll, haha

  • Lastly for today's WTF news we have Daniel Craig on a stick. Not even making that up. At all. Apparently there was a survey in Britain of a thousand women asking which celeb they'd want to have on a stick and Daniel Craig won. So now for a limited time Daniel Craig's upper body comes in popsicle form in three different flavors! If that isn't weird, I don't know what is.

And that my friends is what's happening in Hollywood. Not a whole lot really, but hey works for me. Anything missing?

happy tuesday!

A Wineful, Wiiful, Wonderful Weekend.

Another weekend is over already? What the heck? Even though I didn't do a whole lot it definitely went by way too fast....

Friday: Got home from work, Matt and I both decided that neither one of us wanted to cook so we headed to Island's for dinner and to watch some of the game (go LAKERS!). After dinner we came home, drank some wine and played some Wii, aka best kind of night ever.

Saturday: Did some apartment cleaning then went to lunch with a friend of mine. I was so excited to see since she recently finished her house and I got to tell her in person that I was engaged. So after we enjoyed some lunch outside she talked me into going to a bridal shop and trying on some dresses. So yes, I have officially tried on my first set of wedding dresses! Ah! I must say I did find a couple winners, I just need them to be a notch lower in price, haha.

After lunch I came home and Matt and I did some more apartment cleaning which was awesome. Yes, not joking, the place looks a lot better now that it's cleaner and more organized. Afterwards we pretty much spent the afternoon and night chilling out, drinking more wine and playing more Wii. After last weekend's shenanigans and this coming weekend's Vegas adventure it was nice to just stay home and relax.

Sunday: Slept in a bit, went walking with my mom, had dinner at Matt's dad's house, came home to watch the New Moon trailer (oh yes, first thing I did when I got home and ummm is it November yet!?) and spent the night hanging out. Simply wonderous.

So yeah that was my weekend. No pictures, not too much busyness, and all sorts of loveliness.

Oh and because I have no pictures and my friend Zoe just put up some more pics from last weekend I thought I'd share three gems:

reenacting the Noah and Ally moment, good times

Kathleen and Zoe had to sit in the trunk on the
way home from the bar, haha

it's me! it's me!

Oh good times all around. Yay relaxing weekends and ridiculous pictures. :)

And how was your weekend?

happy monday!

Wedding talk...and go!

I've been engaged a month. A month people! When did that happen? Your guess is as good as mine.

But really. I haven't really talked much wedding here since then and there still isn't a whole to talk about besides the fact that weddings are freakin expensive! It also doesn't help that Matt and I have tons of family and friends making our guest list a little ridiculous right now. And finding a place for all of these family and friends is sort of tiring. So tiring that for a short second I sort of contemplated throwing it all out the window and just considered getting hitched in Vegas next weekend.

Buuuut then reality sunk in and of course I wouldn't want that. I want all of my friends and family at my wedding and dag nabbit we will find a place we like that doesn't require us to promise our first born, haha.

So somewhere in the midst of it all we'll start making some real plans and I'll go gaga over everything on Etsy and WeddingBee and The Knot and ah! I'm getting married people!

And I still couldn't 'be more excited!! :)

Anything making you excited today?

happy weekend all!

Hollywood shenanigans.

So somehow it's Thursday already and there hasn't been a Hollywood post yet. Yeah a long weekend can do that to the blog. Anyhoo Hollywood day is finally here so let's get to it:
  • For this week's cute bebes we have the Damon family. I don't remember the last time we saw Matt with his girls but ohmygoodness they are seriously the cutest little things.

    so precious!

  • And also in the cute bebeness is little Matilda Ledger and the same adorable smile her dad had. Seriously she makes my heart melt and this picture with her and one of her mom's friends just makes me smile:

    adorable.

  • Also in baby news, apparently Mel Gibson's new ladyfriend is knocked up already. Ummmokay. And apparently Mel can joke about it and said to just call him Octo-Mel (since he already has seven kids with his soon to be ex-wife). Oy vey.

  • Moving on from the bebes and on to some hotness. Ryan Gosling's been in New York filming a new movie and my goodnes when he isn't smoking, he is smokin (haha, lamest joke ever).

    hello hotness.

  • Also in some good lookingness, even though it was over a week ago, Brad and Angelina looked freaking fabulous at Cannes. Although I'm not their biggest fans ever (not what you call a Brangeloonie) I do think they can pull off some glamorous looks and I love it:

    so classy.

  • In today's Twilight news....big spoilers kids, big spoilers! So many pictures from the New Moon set I almost squealed (okay I did squeal) when I saw them.

    hello shirtlessness Edward.

    cuteness!

And on top of it all, someone put together a video montage of all the pics to lay out the scene. Seriously if I didn't have so many books to read I'd start the Twilight series all over right this second! Ah can it just be November already!?!? Squeeeeeeee.

  • Speaking of movies...
Angels and Demons. I really liked it. Even though it freaked me the hell out with the creepy killer and bizarre things, I was a fan. And I can't wait to read the book because I hear it's a million times better.

Star Trek. Okay so I admit I had absolutely no intention of really seeing this movie, none whatsoever. But Matt and I went and I was a big fan. It was hilarious! No one told me it was so funny. And no one told me it had Eric Bana, Winona Ryder and Tyler Perry on top of all the other main stars, so crazy. But yeah in a nutshell, for not being a trekkie I was a big fan. And Chris Pine didn't hurt the cause either :)

  • And in TV news...
Apparently TV networks want to eff with my schedule. Everything is getting moved around (or canceled!) Ah!

Oh and want to see where TV sitcoms took place? Of course you do! Check out this map to be entertained and enjoy a little time warp.

Greek. I'm a week behind but seriously I love that Dale and Cappie are friend, love it. And love the secret society idea thing too, too funny. And basically umm I just love this show. It cracks me up.

Medium. Are you watching this show? You should be! Even though it almost got canceled and got picked up by CBS instead it's a great show. So bizarre but so awesome. I loved this week's episode and man. Just so good, basically you should watch it and I have a feeling next week's finale will be great.

John and Kate Plus 8. I don't even think I can talk about this show without saying WTF. Jen and I watched the season premiere on Monday and ummm is it just me or should they not be filming anymore??! Clearly they are having marital issues and they're not a fan of the stardom and their kids probably don't enjoy it all either (if they even notice) and stopping the show would be best for everyone (except TLC of course). I don't know, the episode just made me sad all around.

Without a Trace. The series finale. SERIES people. I sort of loved this show and all of a sudden it got canceled on me. And the finale wasn't even all that great, it was sort of a blah episode. Yay everyone lived. But the main characters broke up and then there was a wedding we didn't get to see and I'm just sad it's over, I really enjoyed that show and now it's gone. At least I'll have the TNT reruns still.

Fringe. I hate my DVR. It cut off the second to last episode and it didn't tape the finale. I am sad. And even sadder than the guy who plays Charlie got fired from the show. Sheesh. Basically I need to find a way to watch the finale, I need my Josh fix!

The Hills. I am declaring it here. After the finale this Sunday I will no longer watch the show. No thank Kristin Cavaleri (or however you spell your name). I am too old to watch the most scripted reality show and I was a Lauren fan anyways. And Spencer's proposal was ridiculous and gah. Oh and speaking of the main dbag, just watch this video and enjoy the hilarity that is sure to ensue.

Top Model. Yeah the season's over, but check out this interview with Celia. I sort of liked her a lot.

  • In music news...I am officially obsessed with MGMT's "Electric Feel." No joke, I listened to it 35 times yesterday, it's pretty bad, haha. It's so last year but oh so awesome.

  • And lastly in WTF news...Desmond Hatchett, the most fertile manwhoring twenty nine year old man around. At 29 he has 21 children with at least 11 different women. Soak that in and then tell me what you think. Like wo.
And that my friends is what's going on in Hollywood this week. Anything I missed? As always, fill me in!

happy thursday!

Oh how I love good girly weekend.

Oooooh and I'm back for real! Hi freaders! I've missed you. How have you been? How was your long weekend? Mine was pretty dang fabulous and I'm sort of sad it's over already, but alas 'tis life. Anyhoo time to recap and share the awesomeness, woo:

Thursday: Left for Atlanta at the crack of dawn. Flew all day and finally made it only to get lost in the airport, I'm a winner, haha. Eventually I made it out and my friend Kathleen and I were on our way to good ole North Carolina. Six hours later we made it and hung out with Jen and grabbed some drinks and just enjoyed being together, it was great.

Friday: Slept in which was amazing and lazed around for a good part of the morning before the three of us headed off to Childress Vineywards for the afternoon. It was so much fun. We tried some tasty wines and then bought a bottle and relaxed outside for a bit.

Jen, me and Kathleen enjoying some delicious wine

oh what a view

Seriously, it was a great afternoon... after we left the winery we watched some TV and hung out before picking up our friend Zoe from the airport and waiting for the Ohio girls to get there. And once they did get there, it was glorious! Nothing beats having almost all of your favorite girls together again.

Saturday: Slept in again (and man it was amazing) and took our time getting ready before heading off to the Taste of Durham. It was so freaking hot I couldn't believe it. But at least the food was tasty. I had some delicious ahi tuna and mac and cheese and shaved ice and mmmmmmdelish.

the girls enjoying some tastiness

enjoying the lovely day

We also listened to some music and hung out a bit before heading back to the airport to get our final friend Alli since her flights had been delayed all day. And man I can just say that being together again was glorious. So many laughs and jokes and memories oh good times...oh and also the best song ever, not even kidding, The Booty Song. Just try not to laugh when you listen to it.

After dinner we headed back to Jen's place to pregame, play Apples to Apples (I still stand by it as the best game eva, haha, love it), and just hang out before heading to the bars.

some of the ladies hangin out

oh I really love this game

After hanging out a bit we eventually made our way to the bar (all eight of us stacked into one cab, oh man was that tricky) downtown. And I gotta say, as expected, it was great. We all got buzzed (if not drunk) and laughed the night away, met Jen's bf, had some cheap drinks (oh I love the South), and an all around great time. My favorite part was when we left the bar and had an impromptu photo shoot around a statue in the middle of town in the middle of a street, it was hilarious.

heart these girls

fantabulous

The night ended with us squishing into Jen's bf car, singing the Booty song and laughing until all hours of the night. Twas awesome.

Sunday: (sorry this is long, it was a long weekend!) We got ourselves together after the long night and headed to another winery. You can never have too much wine right? It was such a fun time, we got to sit in the barrel room and chat and be loud and pick out our wines and yes, lovely.

cheers!

posing with the wine barrels, mmmmmwine!

After the wineries we headed to Winston-Salem had some dinner, laughed at the fact that I say "granted" a million more times than the average person, and and a dandy time. After dinner we came back and indulged in some ABC Family goodness of Another Cinderella Movie and then Bride Wars. It's nights like that that make me miss my girlfriends. Those movies were both horrendous and fabulous and so much better watching it with girls, haha.

Monday: Lazed around in the morning and eventually everyone but me took off. It was sort of sad to see them go but I know I'll see them again in October for Virginia's wedding so I can't wait! After everyone left Jen and I spent the day window shopping and hanging out and chatting and catching up and all around having a girly fabulous day. Seriously my favorite. A favorite kind of weekend all around and I couldn't have pictured it any other way.

Tuesday: Flew home way to early and was way too sad to end my vacation. Luckily when I did get home Matt didn't want the vacation to end just yet either. After relaxing a bit we headed to the movies and saw Angels and Demons, had some dinner, then went back to the theater to see Star Trek. It was just the night I needed.

And that my friends is the oh so fabulous long weekend I so needed and most definitely enjoyed to the fullest.

and how was your weekend?

Annnnnd I'm back!

Well sort of. As you can tell I didn't blog yesterday and hopefully you all saw Alexa's gem of a dream post.

Anyhoo I only say I'm back sort of because I'm technically flying home as you read this. So no I can't recap the whole weekend and no I don't have any of my own pictures up and dang it all I just don't really have a whole lot to share just yet. But I didn't want to leave you hanging for so long.

So just know I drank tons of wine, laughed non-stop, ate at the weirdest times, hung out with some of the best friends a girl could imagine, watched movies on ABC family and had an all around blast.

And with that I leave you with a teaser picture:

Jen and I with Mr. Childress's car.
Apparently he's a big deal or something, haha.

Come back tomorrow for the whole weekend rundown. Hope you all had a most fantabulous weekend!

happy tuesday!

friday share v3 - dream edition

whoa, so this is what it feels like to be a footsie friend of katelin's? i can get used to my feet in the sand, that's for sure. excuse me while i get comfortable - there's the spot.

HI, i'm alexa and i write the blog cleveland's a plum. yes, THAT cleveland, the one in ohio, the city with LEBRON.

anyways, so recently i've started a friday feature on my blog where i share something then YOU share something. hence the ridiculously catchy and original title of 'friday share', (that's why i get paid the big bucks), and this friday i'm bringing it over to katelin's.

considering katelin is so well versed in all things hollywood, living in LA and all. i decided that this would be a good place to discuss a hollywood themed dream i had on wednesday. which goes a little something like this...

picture it, cleveland ohio, my apartment downtown. it's evening and i'm sitting on my couch reading a book while halfway listening to entertainment tonight. when there's a knock on my door.

i answer it and to my surprise it's BRAD PITT and his children. and i'm talking ALL of his children: maddox, pax, zahara, shiloh, knox and vivienne. i'm standing there in disbelief when he says,

"i have an emergency and i need you, alexa, to watch my children"

"me? why? how did you know where i live?", i said.

"i know everything about you", brad creepily said while pushing his brood into my apartment.

and with that he was off, walking away from me down the hall. all the while i was yelling, "but where's angelina? can't she watch them? don't you have a nanny!!?!?"

i close my apartment door and turn around to see the kids standing there staring at me.

"hi guys", i said, "do you want a popsicle?"

i received a unanimous yes and headed to the fridge to grab some freezer pops, handing one to each child. i show the ridiculously well behaved children to my deck and we sit outside and catch fireflies.

seriously, fireflies. and then i woke up.

do i or do i not have the most boring dreams?

i mean this dream had the potential of being awesome. hello -brad pitt at your door! that alone can go in so so so many pleasant directions. but what happens? i get left with his kids, not him, sitting on my deck eating popsicles.

apparently my boring life is even forcing its way into my dream life. lame-o.

so what have you dreamed about lately? it's got to be better than mine.

People that should be paying me.

Yesterday as I was getting dressed and noticed that about 85% of my shirt drawer was Old Navy in origin I realized that they should pay me. I mean so many of my clothes are from there and I love it all, so why not pay me for it? I'm a walking billboard for crimeny sake. And that got me thinking about all the other people that should probably be paying me as well...
  • Stephenie Meyer. Seriously I know the woman's got money to spare and I've told so many people about Twilight it's not even funny. I could practically be a Twilight publicist, haha.

  • All airlines. I put so much money into them I'm pretty sure they could repay me just a bit.

  • Craig David. I'm pretty sure none of my friends knew who he was until I introduced them. Seriously I'm like his freakin publicist. Now if only he would make his US visits more frequently my job would be easier, haha.

  • Granny Smith apples. I think I go through more apples in a week than some families go through in a month. I'm pretty sure I could be an apple spokesperson or something. And man are they delicious.

  • The creators of flip flops. I wear them almost every day in any weather it's sort of ridiculous. But I think they should pay me because I need some new ones, haha.

Seriously people shouldn't I be getting paid for my hard work? And really I've got a wedding to pay for soon and some travels to be had, yeah extra money would be loverly. So you hear that Stephenie and Old Navy? Pay up please. Sweet, thanks. Love, Katelin.

Anyone that should be paying you?

happy wednesday!

Don't Mosby me Hollywood.

It's Tuesday and you know what that means.....Hollywood post day, woo woo. So let's get to it already:
  • Starting off the cuteness of the bebes we have an adorable picture of Sasha and Liev Schreiber. Seriously, Sasha is quickly becoming one of my faves in the adorableness category, haha. But really how can you not say "awwwwww" to this picture.

    presh!

  • And also in the bebe cuteness we have my favorite of the faves, little Violet Affleck strolling along with mama Jen and baby Sera, seriously, most precious adorableist family in Hollywood eva:

    wuv it.

  • Sort of related to the bebes...apparently Brad Pitt is driving all the moms of Long Island crazy (in a good way of course!). It's being said that the usually laid back moms are bringing out the designer jeans and makeup in hopes of running into Brad when he picks up the kid from day care or even goes grocery shopping while Angelina's filming. Seriously this story cracked me up because I know I would do the same thing. When I was waiting to meet Ryan Gosling I made sure to look somewhat cuteish (ie no gaucho pants, haha). Love it.

  • In "oh-my-gosh-I'm-still-a-sixth-grader-at-heart" Kate Winslet recently gave an interview to Flare magazine in which she revealed that she wears two rings. Her wedding ring with husband Sam Mendes and a ring from Leo that's even engraved. Seriously! Ah! Jack and Rose for eva!

Also in Leo news, he's such a good Laker fan. Front row and cheering and looking all good scruffy like.

    hello good lookin.

  • In Twilight news.
Dakota Fanning is such a gorgeous young woman. I mean it's crazy that we've all seen her grow up and she's so sophisticated, I guess she's like our generations' Drew Barrymore (just without the rehab and all that) and the Olsen twins 2.0. But really I'm so excited for her to be in New Moon and seriously heart her.

yeah I couldn't even rock that look

Another Twilight tidbit...apparently a clip/promo/preview/snippit of New Moon is going to be aired at the MTV movie awards. Heyo! I may have to DVR it just for that, haha. Oh and even more New Moon-ness, apparently the first poster has leaked and I like it.

Also in Twilightness....RPatz of course. Mmmmmm. Everyone needs some daily Robness.

oh check him out all Edward-like

Also in Rob news, apparently he's slated on a new movie with Hugh Jackman. Hello! I'm already in line to see it, haha.

  • And in TV news...
Grey's Anatomy. Oh. Em. Gee. If you haven't watched the finale yet then you are missing out and I'm going to spoil it if you keep reading, haha. But seriously, wow. The episode was pretty good to me, not their best, but the last 10 minutes, holy crap. I was screaming at my TV, tears streaming, ohmygoshing more times that I can count. I seriously rewatched the part where John Doe was revealed to be George at least 6 times and got teary every one of them. I was in shock, heck I still am. And I totally called that Izzie's life would be in limbo and heck now George's is too. But I'm predicting that Izzie will make it and George will not and man, is it the season premiere yet?? (a better recap of the ep is here at BuzzSugar if you have no idea what I'm talking about and want to read about it)

Top Model. Well that was a let down. Teyona won. We all saw it coming as much as I didn't want her to win it, she did. They even gave me hope that awkward Allison may win, but no, not the case. I couldn't really tell you how the episode went because I fast forwarded through most of it to see who won. As always, the best recap eva is here.

Fringe. I am so behind it's not even funny. But I do want to take this time to yell at Fox for changing Fringe's time slot next Fall to Thursdays at 9 to compete with Grey's and CSI: WTF FOX?! Do you not know that my DVR can only tape 2 shows and I only have 1 TV?! How rude!!

John and Kate Plus 8. Man I used to love this show and the family but there is just so much drama around them everywhere now it's sad. I just feel bad for the kids, because man they are cute. Heck Tia sums it all up best, I agree with her about the fam and the drama and I'm kind of curious about the new season.

    How I Met Your Mother.
Aw yay! Robin and Barney, yay! The Mosby, haha, classic. Marshall jumped, yay! The goat story finally, yay! And Professor Mosby, yay! Seriously love this show and even though there were no major cliff hangers I still loved it.

Desperate Housewives. Almost too much to talk about. One. Anna is so much like the Scavo's banned away step-daughter it's sort of lame. Two. I love Mrs. McClusky and her sister, so funny. And so excited they may be getting their own show! Three. Lynette is pregnant!? With twins!! Oh man. Four. Bree and Carl!!! What the hell!? Five. Thank god everyone knows the Dave mystery now

And that my friends is what's happenin in Hollywood. Anything I missed?

happy tuesday!
