- The LA Blogger Meetup is THIS FRIDAY! FRIDAY you hear? I posted about it last Friday and I'm posting about it again. Let me know if you can make it so I can sort of get an idea of who all to look for. I don't really have a plan and I've never been to St. Nick's but I know it's going to be awesome, so come!
- Last week, the fabulous Distractible Jane bestowed upon me this lovely award:
Thank you, thank you! And this award says that I have to pass it on to four more bloggers and tell you why I picked them, so here goes -
Oh How Lovely Shops - I love Jamie and all of her blogs (she just started a new one!) but her shopping blog gave me several Christmas gift ideas this weekend and it's just awesome.
More Fun Than a Barrel - Every time she posts about food I find myself salivating at my computer and my wallet thinning as she shows me new places to visit in LA.
The JQ Lounge - Julie Q was one of the first bloggers I started reading and if I was in Boston I'm convinced we would watch Top Model together :)
The Every Day Adventures of Me in the City - I love her weekend learnings and hanging out with her at BlogHer this past summer was awesome.
So there you have it, four more blogs that should already be in your readers, woo. - The great scarf swap has officially started! Sarah Marie P and Talia put together a fun scarf swap among all sorts of bloggers and the partners were officially announced today.
And my swap partner is the fabulous wishcake, woo! I'm so excited to get a scarf for her and see what she picks out for me, I love a good scarf. - Oh did I mention the LA Blogger Meetup is this Friday? Yeah you should be there.
- As weird as it is, Fringe is surprisingly entertaining. Now I know I am slightly biased with my love of Joshua Jackson and all but I recommend checking it out.
- The human head weighs eight pounds.
- Matt and I are having a Christmas party in a week in a half and I'm sort of really excited for it, I love Christmas and parties and awesomeness.
- Listening to the Nutcracker Suite makes me beyond happy and definitely got me through the workday today.
- There's a blogger meetup on Friday, are you going? :)
- I'm reading a book by Alice Sebold, The Almost Moon, and it is so effed up. I can't decide if I like it or not yet or if I'd recommend it but it's interesting for sure. And it's definitely not Twilight, man I miss how much I loved those books.
- I love pizza.
Okay class, your test question today is: What is the capital of Burkina Faso?
Haha, seriously I don't know what I'm on or what this post was about but you learned something right?
happy wednesday!

why is there no more fringe until next month?! *sobs
You seriously crack me up! I love how you threw that question in the bottom. Isn't it just like a teacher to ask a question that she DIDN'T go over :) Hee hee!
PS you are not SLIGHTLY obsessed with Joshua jackson... you are SO obsessed, and we love it!
If i win the lottery before friday I will totally be there :-)
The scarf swap looks like a lot of fun! I hope you all post pics of your scarves. I need a new book to read after coming off of my Twilight binge too, havent found one that is just as good yet.
Ouagadougou :-) Sorry, answering questions is my job...LOL.
If you ever find a book that you enjoy as much as Twilight will you promise to let me know about it. I will do the same. If you haven't already read "The Lovely Bones" by Sebold I would definitely recommend it. It is no Twilight but I still really liked it.
Mandy beat me to the punch! (Probably because I was busy looking that up on Wikipedia...) Ouagadougou. Say that six times fast.
I have been secretly eying the young adult section at Half Priced Books ever since I read the Twilight books. I don't know if I can really let myself shop there, though, but mostly only because I'm afraid I'll look like some kind of perv.
man, i got hooked on fringe too! its awesome! and josh jackson aint to bad on the eyes either...boy did he grow up nice!!!
We must all keep watching Fringe...it's one of my only shows that may survive
Um....I like pizza too.
And Ouagadougou is the capital of Burkina Faso.
Hooray! Thanks. :)
Sad I can't make Friday, but I am a regular viewer of Fringe, so that sort of makes up for it.
I have a freaky knowledge of capital cities (I learned them off by heart when I was a kid - so my knowledge is limited to pre-1988 countries) but knowing the capital of Burkina Faso is the one that impresses people most. Mainly because half of them don't even know it's a country in the first place . . . :)
I love the movie "Jerry McGuire" (that's where the quote is from, right?? ;))... I could watch it over and over and over again.
i wish i could go on friday!
yay for scarves!
wait what? blogger meet up? in la?
ummmm obviously I haven't been a diligent blogger if I don't know about this!
I wish I could be there to meet all the fabulous LA bloggers :(

I like pizza too.
I want to go to a blogger meetup!
How did I not hear about this scarf swap? Where have I been?
I learned that if I was in LA I'd TOTALLY come to the blogger meet-up.
Alas I need to meet some MElbourne bloggers apparently.
Aww I <3 you bigtime. Thanks for the award! You're awesome. Dude Alice Sebold's books are really f-ed up. I'm going with the Audacity of Hope for my post Twilight book. I need to transition. We need to hang out again soon.
I'm so excited about the swap exchange but I'm worried about picking a good one.

Fringe is entertaining.
Or maybe it's just the eye-candy I enjoy?
Yayy for the scarf exchange.
I'm excited as well!
Everyone is having cool blog meetups! There was one in boston, chicago, and then there was Ho Tour 2008 (I think that was the nickname, which cracked me up)
Yay! Thanks for the award. I love you and your blog right back!
