Boca, Boca, Boca!

Seriously, I can't just say Boca once, haha.

Anyhoo, moving on. So as you've probably seen around the blogosphere, Boca spa nights have been popping up all over the place and this past Tuesday it popped up in West Hollywood at the Voda Spa.

I was more than excited to go and get pampered and meet some bloggers while doing it. And basically, it was awesome. As soon as I pulled up and parked I met Andrea (who is awesome by the way) and seconds after entering the spa I was attacked (in the best way possible) with hugs from Nicole! Seriously we'd been trying to meet for at least a year and alas it was a free spa night that finally did the trick, haha. Also there was the fabulous Tara (oh and check out her recap of the night here) and it was great to chat and see her too. I also got to hang out and chat with Teresa who was there on behalf of Boca and I met her last year at BlogHer so it was great to see her again and hang out.

My first act of business was dinner. There were Boca sliders that were surprisingly delicious and mango salsa and chips that I pretty much devoured. It was all so delicious and hey, good for me too! Can't go wrong there.

After eating a bit I made my way upstairs to indulge in one of my favorite spa treatments, a pedicure! Seriously, for being so ticklish I love a good pedicure, haha. Anyhoo, it was awesome and Tara even took some pics to document it for me:

The funniest part was that I guess I'm taller than most people that go to this spa because my legs were a little long for the seat I felt a little bad for the lady working on my toes, haha. Oh well, they still turned out awesome, I got a deep red nail polish on them and I am in loooove.

After the pedicure I got a massage. I couldn't tell you how long it was because I was on Cloud 9 the whole time, haha. It was so relaxing and peaceful and oy. Loved it.

another pic by Tara :)

Once the massage was done I hung out a little bit more before going to a mini wellness session where I learned some tips of things to do at work so I can ease some tension in my body, etc. It was pretty nice, granted I tried not to laugh because I can't stay serious most of the time, haha.

And lastly, I got a manicure. I was the last person to get one so I was pretty excited they fit me in even if it went a little past the schedule. But with Nicole and Andrea's input I got dark chocolate brown polish on my nails, a first for me! And I have to say, I sort of love it. So yes Nicole you were totally right, dark and angsty is cute, haha.

Nicole, Me and Andrea showing off the nails :)

When the event was over I got to leave some pretty neat schwag, a Boca yoga mat, some coupons, a planner and a relaxing CD and I definitely plan on using it all.

All in all it was such a fun night and I'm so glad I was able to go! I can't wait until another fun LA blogger meetup of sorts, woo.

Oh and I'm headed to Houston for the Mom 2.0 Summit for work so look for me if you're there and come say hi!

But stop by tomorrow where my sister will be popping her blogging cherry and posting on who knows what, haha.

happy thursday!

Hollywood is oh so stylish.

Yeah, yeah it's not Tuesday but dangit this blog needs it's weekly dose of Hollywood, so here we go:
  • In today's bebe cuteness we have little Suri Cruise. She apparently made the world stop at Disneyworld with the fam and Tom had professional people there for a photo shoot....umm a bit intense, but man she's still adorable.

  • And what kind of post would this be if there wasn't a second bebe to add to the cuteness!? Blasphemy I say! So without further ado, today's adorable bebe is my fave of faves, little Violet Affleck with her mom on a way to a birthday party. I swear she is never not smiling, such a cute kid.

  • In other cuteness today we have Justin Timberlake. Now I was never an N*Sync fan and I've always been a little eh when it comes to Justin, however lately I just can't help but like him. His stints on SNL always have me crackin up and he seems to be doing some good work with charities. And yeah I guess I can admit that he is kind of good lookin and according to GQ he's America's most stylish guy:

  • You know who else is stylin' these days? Barbie. Not even kidding. Apparently Barbie has a blog and had a runway show and all that jazz. Not gonna lie, I was a wee bit obsessed with Barbies when I was younger and I still get nostalgic every now and then and cross my fingers that one day I'll have a daughter that will like Barbies, haha. Umm back to the point, Barbie's blog. Check. It. Out.

  • Another lady who's been stylin lately is Isla Fisher on her rounds for promoting Confessions of a Shopaholic (which I'm currently reading). Seriously, she's adorable. And everything she's been wearing has just been so cute, I sort of want it all. As simple as it is, I think this outfit may be one of my faves:

    love it.

  • Okay okay and one more lady who's fashion I'm lovin is Rosario Dawson. Seriously I think I just need to go shopping because all of these cute outfits are driving me crazy...but in a good way of course:

I love this dress and her shoes and her and ah! Love it all.

  • For today's Twilight news (I told you I wasn't done) we've got two things. One. Rob Pattinson. Le swoon.

he's getting ready to run! haha

And second. Apparently Madonna is trying to get involved with New Moon, possibly the soundtrack or maybe an actual part. I hope both accounts are wrong. Don't ruin New Moon people, don't do it!

  • And in music news...
Apparently Paris Hilton not only sings horrible music, she freestyles too? Oh dear, someone save the airwaves.

Second. I forgot how much I love "Everyday" by Dave Matthews Band. No seriously, it's hard to not have a smile on your face when you listen to this song or even watch the video. It's just so dang happy and I love it.

And lastly, my ex-music boyfriend (aka Michael Jackson) is apparently auctioning off some of his valuables in April. And ohmygosh some of that stuff is ridiculous. Okay scratch that, all of the stuff is ridiculous. You can check some of out here, but my favorite one has to be an electric cart he used to ride around Neverland Ranchwith that has him painted as Peter Pan on the hood:

    Ummmwow.

  • In Movie news...The Academy Awards are this Sunday!!!! I cannot wait. Seriously, I'm so excited. I hope Kate wins and umm I don't really care about anything else, haha. Man I'm such a nerd. But really, I can't wait.
  • And in TV News...
Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice. First of all, Shonda. Come on now. Hunt's ex-fiancee? Didn't we already do that with Addison? I mean really, she couldn't be a sister or something? Ugh. Anyhoo, I will say that I was a fan of the extended episode, much better than the crap you pulled last week. And I'm sort of excited for this week's. Derek and Sloane in a fight? It's almost too much drama but man do I love it.

Brothers and Sisters. Rebecca, stop being lame. Nice to know you Tommy, maybe. The end.

Desperate Housewives. Did you hear that Edie is leaving? For real this time! I'm sort of sad, because even though I don't loooove her character, she is fun. I say Dave kills her or umm yeah I don't know what else could happen but I bet something with creepy Dave.

How I Met Your Mother. No there weren't any new episodes, but Matt and I finished Season 1 over the weekend and started Season 2 and I'm pretty sure I laughed through all of it. I love this show so much and you should too.

Criminal Minds. I love this show but man it freaks me out. Cadavers and wigs and ew and ew and creepy. But yeah I still love the show, haha.

The City. Umm I sort of deleted last week's episode before I watched it. On purpose. Whoops. I guess I am growing up a bit, that or this show just isn't that exciting.

Top Model. Comes back a week from today! Holla! I'm picking Tahlia, only because her hair is awesome, haha.

  • And today's WTF story comes to us from across the ocean in good ole London. In case you hadn't heard a 13 year old boy and a 15 year old girl have just become parents! And to top it off the boy looks like he's 8. It's crazy. Even weirder, two other boys have stepped up saying they were the father, it's just bizarre. And I mean why the heck would they be having sex in the first place?! Er I didn't even know a boy could be a dad at 13!? Seriously everything I learned in Health class is wrong! Haha. But no really, so wrong. Ew.

And that my friends is what's happening in crazy ole Hollywood, anything I missed? Any fun sightings? Let me know. Woo.

happy wednesday!

Fondue is fun.

Why hello there freaders, how was your weekend? As you noticed I didn't blog yesterday because hey it was a holiday adn I could do a day without my computer. Anyhoodle, the long weekend was lovely full of lots of relaxing and cheese and more relaxingness.

Friday: Got to leave work a bit early because our internet was acting up and I work at a company that does everything online so no internet makes the day take a million times longer, oy. So yeah headed out of work early then went home to Matt where neither of us wanted to make anything for dinner so instead we headed to Chili's which was surprisingly delicious. Afterwards we came home, caught up on the DVR, had some wine and basically a lovely night in listening to the rain.

Saturday: Slept in a bit (which is always awesome), did some errands with Matt before taking advantage of some sun and walking around the Rose Bowl with some fam. After walking Matt and I went up to my parent's house for a pre-dinner of sorts since we had some out of town relatives over. It was nice, but the best part of Valentine's Day for me was afterwards when Matt and I finally had time to ourselves. We came home and made some cheese fondue which ohmygoodness was delicious.

Matt gives the gouda two thumbs up, haha

he focusing on melting that cheese just right

annnnd the final product!

yummmmmmmm.

After fondue I talked Matt into watching Sixteen Candles (which is one of my faves). And he didn't hate it! Ah, what a great boyfriend. Once the movie was over we just relaxed, drank more wine and watched about 10 episodes of How I Met Your Mother season one, Matt has definitely converted, woo!

Sunday: Slept in yet again (yesssssss), watched more HIMYM and got ready for the day. Once we were ready we headed over to Beverly Hills to see our friend JR in a play. It was pretty entertaining actually and he did a great job. It was definitely a fun way to spend our afternoon. After the play we headed back to the parents house to say bye to the fam. Then came home to make chocolate fondue (yummmmmmy!) and watched more season one of HIMYM, seriously that show is amazing and always makes me laugh.

Monday: Ohmygosh I was a lazy ass. Caught up on the DVR, worked out on the Wii and read a bit. It was the perfect day off. Love it.

And how was your weekend? Do anything fun? Love fondue as much as I do?

happy tuesday!

All lovey dovey and such.

Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day I thought I'd use today's post to get all lovey dovey and mushy on you. But alas, I'm not always the best when it comes to lovey dovey and cutesy so instead I'll share one of the best lovey dovey cutesy mushy movie quotes that you can't help but love or repeat or repost even. But I mean really, what girl wouldn't want a guy to say this to her, really?
Harry: How about this way? I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

- When Harry Met Sally

I mean really, how could you not swoon to that one? You can't, it's impossible! Anyhoo, hope everyone has a most fantabulous weekend of loveliness. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

happy weekend!

Some hotties of Hollywood.

So of course when I got to work on Tuesday and did my morning perusal of one of my fave sites I noticed that almost all of my faves were featured. Of course on Tuesday...after I'd already written and posted my Hollywood post! So alas, today I present you with some of the Hollywood faves lookin their Hollywood best....
  • Apparently actor and musician is not enough for Ryan Gosling, seems like he's adding adorable photographer to the resume as well....

    heart him.

  • The ever quirky and cute RPatz is still enjoying the London life before filming for New Moon begins and I've gotta say, I sort of love the hat look for him, even though his hair is amazing.

    le swoon.

Maybe I actually just like Brits with beanies? Mmmmmm.

  • Also frolicking around Europe but sans beanie....Leo oh Leo. Although his hair could use a beanie or maybe some tending to, he still looks ever so daper at a charity event in Berlin.

    dashing.

  • Okay apparently everyone is in Europe because Keanu was at the Berlin premiere of his movie The Private Lives of Pippa Lee this week and he actually wore a suit! And nice shoes! (I bet they were both borrowed, haha) And his hair sort of looks brushed! But alas he did not shave, I'm pretty sure he is the most ant-shavingiest guy around. But he's still my fave.

    mcscruffer.

  • And last but in no way least in my list o' faves is Joshua. Apparently he was at Comic-Con in New York doing some promo for Fringe, which by the way, did anyone watch Tuesdays!?!? Oh my goodness I freaking squealed like a little girl! So crazy! And ummmwhy is it on hiatus til April!?!? Not cool at all. Okay back to Josh. He just looks so nice and great and gets along well with costars, always a plus. So ummmyeah here's Josh in all his awesome at Comic-Con.

    so cute!
And that my friends are the faves of Thursday. Aren't they just so cute and hot and awesome and ah this post just made me swoon.

Hi Matt, I love you!
:)

I love this idea so much I figured I'd post it again :)

1. Having scrambled eggs and banana bread for dinner.

2. Dancing around my living room to the girliest music possible.

3. Everything on Etsy.

4. Wearing a scarf and flip flops at the same time.

5. Cinnamon scented candles.

so much grace in so many little things.

Hollywood is full of award shows.

It's Tuesday and I've got some Hollywood news for ya, so here we go!
  • In the freaking adorable cute bebe world we have little Pete Schrieber with his dad at the zoo, seriously these pics just made my heart melt a little:

    so cute!

  • Also just as adorable and precious with her dad...little Harlow Madden. I mean seriously, she is just a doll:

aww wook at those wittle cheeks!

  • And moving on from the bebes because my heart can only take so much cuteness in one post.... apparently there were some awards shows this weekend? BAFTAs? Grammys? Oh yeah. Did I watch them? Not so much. But can I post about them? Heck yes.

The BAFTAs. YAY KATE!...and Slumdog Millionaire....Ummm that's all I have to say about that, you can check out all the winners here.

And don't shoot me, but I sort of really liked Angelina's dress. She pulled off yellow and black without looking like a bumble bee...I approve.

And really, Kate can do no wrong in my eyes:

And moving on from the BAFTAs....to the Grammy's shall we?

  • Okay Grammy talk. Well in case you haven't gone on any website in the past 48 hours, the biggest news out of the Grammy's wasn't any of the winners, it was the huge debacle with Chris Brown and Rihanna. All I'll say is that there has been a charge of domestic violence and Chris Brown has a court date in March and apparently Rihanna checked into Cedars. So needless to say both of them cancelled on the Grammy's and everyone is baffled. But really, domestic abuse is just not cool.

Another Grammy mishap was leaving out LeRoi Moore, from the Dave Matthews Band, from the In Memorium tribute. Seriously, how could they forget such a big name in music?? So sad.

In lighter Grammy news however....apparently Whitney Houston is trying to make a Britney-like comeback. Although she sounded a bit crazy presenting an award, she still looked good and not so coked up as usual.

Also at the Grammy's....a very pregnant M.I.A., haha. Seriously the girl performed at the Grammy's on her due date, gotta love that craziness.

And in case your curious, all of the Grammy winners can be found here.

  • In other music news, I've been playing Duffy's "Mercy" and Flo Rida's "Right Round" non-stop. Seriously, both songs are awesome. I highly recommend checkin them out.

  • In non-awards Hollywood news, apparently Rob Pattinson once went on a date with one of his stalkers. Not even kidding....well actually he could have been kidding, but that's still kind of cool. Maybe I should just head up to Forks and we could grab a drink together...maaaaaybe? :)

  • And in TV news....
Chuck. So I used to watch Chuck, not so much anymore, but last night I happened to catch some of it and it was the ep with Nicole Richie on it. And I love how Ben Savage is on it too and I never heard a peep about that! Maybe it's because he didn't take a picture with me last Summer? Yeah that's why. :)

Grey's Anatomy. Okay so I was so mad that ABC hyped last week's episode as a crossover when really, a phone cal at the end is not a freakin crossover! However, I was happy to learn that this week's episode really is the crossover. And oh man can Derek please just propose already!? I was so anxious and excited for them I pretty much squealed the whole episode. And like I said on Friday I was dying with the Cristina and Dr. Hunt sexual tension, it was so hot and so exciting, man I love this show.

  • And in today's WTF we've got two things.
Numero uno WTF comes from this website...http://thisiswhyyourefat.com/. Oh man just to warn you, it's ridiculous. Whoever created those food masterpieces either wanted a heart attack or was bored in the kitchen, oy.

And numero dos in the WTF of the world we have the mom of the octuplets. Seriously I am baffled every day this woman speaks, it's insanity I tell you, insanity. The woman could win WTF every day for the rest of the year, it's ridiculous I tell you.

and that my friends is what's going on in Hollywooooood. Anything I missed?

happy tuesday!

Argggh the weekend's over already.

Another weekend come on gone and man do they go by too fast. Anyhoo, care to hear how I spent mine? Sure? Okay? Why not? Sit back, grab yourself a drink and make yourself comfy cause here we goooooo:

Friday: After battling the rains I finally made it home and had some leftovers as Matt headed out to a bar with his boss. I was actually pretty pumped to have the place to myself for a bit so I blared some Duffy, some Jason Mraz and some poppy girl music and attempted to "become a baking master" and making banana bread a second time now that I actually had baking powder. And woo for me it actually turned out okay this time:

After Matt got home, the neighbors came over and we enjoyed a night of pirateness. We all drank rum and fun drinks in our pirate glasses, wore some pirate bandannas and enjoyed watching Pirates of the Caribbean 3. It was great.

Saturday: I don't remember a day I was so lazy. Matt and I went over to his mom's house to do some laundry and we ended up watching The Mummy 3 while waiting for it all to get done, I took a couple naps in between and we got tons of clothes cleaned which is always a plus. Afterwards, me, Matt and his mom headed over to CPK for dinner, which was delicious, per usual. I had their new ravioli and ohmygod it was so good. Post my CPK food coma, Matt and I came home, had some wine, played the Wii and watched Bad Boys 2. All in all one hell of a night in, woo.

Sunday: Relaxed a bit in the morning with Matt before we headed to my parents house for a while. After that we went to our friends house on the West side for lunch. It was great hanging out and talking about their upcoming wedding with them and just all around having a good time. After hanging out a while we went to pick up my friend Liz who was in town for a quick business trip and we headed to the beach!

me and Lizzy on the pier

gotta love the beach

me and Matt and our awesome cropped pants

Liz was crazy enough to go in the water, haha

Although it was a bit cold, it was definitely nice to walk around the beach. We all grabbed dinner at a fun little place, chatted, caught up and it was great. Always nice to a see a college friend, always.

After killing some time at Border's we took Liz to the airport then came home and crashed. Although we didn't do a ton this weekend, Matt and I were both wiped out. So it was nice to come home, enjoy the sound of the rain and crash a bit.

And how was your weekend? Stay dry and warm I hope?

happy monday!

A Fun Facts Friday.

Also known as "I didn't really know what else to blog about and fun facts are always fun, especially on Fridays" and I love alliteration, I mean...who doesn't?

So here we go.

Fact 1. Mike Vitar aka Benny "The Jet" Rodriqguez is a firefighter in Los Angeles and I should probably meet him.

Fact 2. Paul Walker is Mormon, who knew?

Fact 3. I totally typed this post wearing gloves because it is insanely cold right now...and by insanely cold I mean like 50, whatever.

Fact 4. All polar bears are left-handed.

Fact 5. No word in the English dictionary rhymes with "month."

Fact 6. Tonight me, Matt and our neighbors are partaking in Pirate Night 3.0. There will be rum and lots of arrghhhhs to go around. I cannot wait.

Fact 7. Friday is the best day of the week...especially when it's pay day.

Fact 8. The BBQ chicken pizza from Garlic Jim's is freaking phenomenal.

Fact 9. The sexual tension between Cristina and Dr. Hunt is way hotter than it was between Cristina and Burke, waaay hotter, haha. Oh Grey's Anatomy how I love you.

Fact 10. Poladroid is so fun and quite addicting.

Now don't you feel so much more informed? haha. Anyhoo hope you all have a most fabulous weekend, woo!

happy friday!

Letter to my person.

Dear Jenny,

You know, when I call you Jenny I automatically start singing the song "867-5309", really it can't be helped. Speaking of which, the bidding is ridiculous on that now and is past $5,000, yeah you missed your chance on that one.

Anyhoo, moving on to more relevant things. Relevant things like why am I writing you an open letter on my blog today? Well Jen, I realized I have neglected to give you a birthday shout out two years in a row (January 3rd, yeah I'm way behind) and I wish I could be there to give you a big ole hug today and I can't, so alas a blog post it will be.

In case my freaders are like "who is this Jen person you speak of?" I'll refresh their memory. Jen is "my person." "My person" meaning she is the person I tell everything to, and I mean everything. I mean she is the Cristina to my Meredith. We've known each other since sophmore year of college and could probably black mail each other with all of the crazy things we know about each other, haha.

Even more Jenness, she guest blogged for me a while back all about her main man Lebron, I went to visit her last year when I met Jordan Knight in the airport and she was ridiculously excited for me, then less than a month later in the middle of the week I went to visit her again in North Carolina to go see Wicked and be ridiculous. I haven't seen her since October and I am so thankful for having a cell phone and gchat, haha.

an example of our ridiculousness

Anyhoo, back to my letter.....

Ummm, Jen you are awesome. You are definitely one of the best friends a girl could ask for. I mean who else would call the QVC with me or go shopping at Wal-Mart at 11:30 at night just because? Or who else would cut her own bangs when she got drunk because Ashlee Simpson's were cute? Or who would actually get me to like some animals? And who else could I borrow super cute shoes from and give clothes to, haha?

Well obviously I could continue to talk about ridiculous things that no one else would understand but basically the point of this post is to say, you rock and one day we'll get to spend our birthdays together again!

Oh and if we were neighbors again, I would definitely jump on your bed and still IM you from a room over. Just because I could :)

Miss you friendito,

K$

Grace in small things.

So I've seen this idea on a couple people's blogs lately and you know what, I love it. Even better, it's a whole Ning group of happiness and a battle against embitterment, I mean how can you not like that? It's always good to step back and think of the little things that make the day just a little bit better.

1. Listening to a song over and over again, possibly day dreaming.
2. Wearing my Reefs in February.
3. Actually waking up to work it on the Wii, I'm so proud of myself.
4. Drinking not so tasty tea only to enhance it with lots and lots of honey.
5. The yellow rubber duck on my desk.

All of this awesome, brought to you by me! Katelin!

Hollywoodtabulous.

Oh it's Tuesday so you know what that means right? It's the Hoooolllywooood post.
  • For today's bebe cuteness I couldn't not post this adorable picture of Gavin Rossdale running on the beach (yeah the beach, in LA, in February) with little Kingston. It just made my ovaries hurt a bit it's so adorable:

    presh!

  • And even though these pics are a week old I have to share the Jolie- Pitt twinsies because my goodness even if they are an overhyped family they are still cute as can be!

aw the twins look just like shiloh did when she was a lil bebe
    don't you agree???

  • Speaking of bebes and what not, the woman that had octuplets, who already had six young kids, who's living with her parents. I swear the story is like something out of a soap opera, there's bankruptcy, there's an autisitic child, there are twins, there is no father in the picture and the grandfather is headed back to Iraq to work. And on top of it all, the mom is a money grubbing crazy face. Seriously it's just ridiculous.

  • In other non-bebe but still youngin celebrity news, Dakota Fanning is all over the place lately and seriously she is one sophisticated and adorable young lady. And is it bad that I want every dress she's been rockin lately?

And seriously if tweens need a role model it's better to have Dakota than Miley who's been in all sorts of trouble lately, oy.

  • And because my post is lacking in any hot guys I decided to throw in some Ryan Reynolds, I mean he's freakin adorable and he does have a movie coming out soonish with my fave Sandra, heart.

    yummmmmm.

  • In music news...
If your name is Jenny you should probably place your bid on the infamous number 867-5309. Not even kidding, someone is selling the famous number on Ebay. Apparently he gets at least 40 calls a day form 80s fanatics and is ready to hand the number over....at a nice price (right now it's at $5,100), haha.

Also in music news, 50 years ago was the "day the music died" when Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and J.P. "the Big Bopper Richardson" all went down in a plane in Iowa. Twas a sad day but it's always good to know that legends will always be remembered.

  • In movie news....
I read last week that there was some issues with the DVD release of Zak and Miri Make a Porno. Apparently Walmart was being sort of a stickler and wouldn't sell the movie unless they took the word "porno" out of it. Unfortunately, Kevin Smith and co. had to comply, however I feel like they got the last word with the DVD cover:

    it says:
"this is the last job they could afford to blow"

And this is what the regular copy is:

    it says:
"what would you do to get out of debt?"
    Seriously, love it.

  • And in TV news...
The Hills. I have an inside source that revealed some top notch juicy info that the infamous evil duo that I detest may actually be getting their own spin off. Yes, you are hearing me right, Spencer and Heidi are apparently getting their own show. Oh dear goodness save us all.

Fringe. Did you see Grams?!?! Grams from Dawson's Creek was in a small tidbit with Pacey, er Josh and my high school heart just fluttered. And um besides that, the rest of the episode involved a brain melting computer program, how I'm online right now? I have no idea. *updated to add, thatshortchick informed me that Anna Torv and Mark Valley got married over the holidays, how cute. And how very Angelina/Brad, Ryan/Rachel of them, haha*

CSI: Oh man did you watch last week's episode??? Severed arms, muscles on the floor, crazy people!? It was one ridiculous episode and I'm pretty sure I covered my eyes at least three times, haha. But oh how I love that show.

How I Met Your Mother. I say it every week, but if you aren't watching this show you are seriously missing out. One of the best part's of the episode...Barney's Video Resume. Seriously amazing or should I say.....awesome, awesome, awesome. And I love how they incorporated Alyson Hannigan's prego tummy into it with the hot dog eating contest, very clever, haha.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news, did you see the story of the "extra show" people in Tucson got while watching the Super Bowl on Sunday? Well apparently during a Comcast telecast 10 seconds of porn got interjected into the game right after the Cardinals took the lead. Sounds like there's some rauchy Steelers fans in Tucson, haha.

And that is today's latest of latest random Hollywood news. Anything I missed? Let me know about it. Woo.

happy tuesday!

A Superrific weekend.

Why hello there freaders, welcome back. Have a good weekend? I hope so. Oh? And mine? It was actually pretty laid back and relaxingish, basically just the way I like it every now and then. Welleelllll let me share:

Thursday: Heck yeah I'm posting Thursday as part of my weekend because Thursday night was awesome. After work I headed over to the West Side for a fabulous impromptu last minute bloggy meetup with some of my faves, Sarah, Kerri and Ev'Yan (who posted a fabulous recap already if you want to check it out.) After battling the traffic we all got there and roamed around Sarah's hotel area to find a place to eat, laughing the whole time. Eventually we went to the food court area, all grabbed different things to eat and sat and chatted for such a long time, it was seriously like we knew each other forever (well I'm guessing reading about each others life also gave good conversation starters, haha). After dinner we just hung out in Sarah's room a bit, enjoyed the amazing view and each others company until I eventually had to call it quits and head home since I had work the next morning. All in all I'm so glad I made it and we all got to meet, and in case you're wondering, all of those ladies are awesome. So thank you ladies for a great evening, sorry if I talked too much, haha and hopefully we'll get to meet again soon!

Friday: After work I headed home and then out to dinner with Matt, his mom, brother and a friend at a delicious Italian restaurant. I mean really, the lasagna was phenomenal, I love lasagna! And it was good to spend some time with Matt's fam and what not. After dinner Matt and I came home to some more wine and the Italian Job (appropiate right? haha) However the wine pretty much knocked me out and I think I only saw about ten minutes of the movie before Matt kicked me off the couch and into bed, haha.

Saturday: My day o errands. I seriously was all over town before three, it was ridiculous. Then at three I did my six mile Rose Bowl walk (which is going to be upped to nine next weekend, oy vey) which was actually quite nice since the weather was perfect here. After walking Matt and I headed to my aunt and uncle's house for a night of tacos, margaritas and Apples to Apples, three of my favorite things! We pretty much played all night, which was so much fun. But by the time we got home at like 11:30 I was ready for bed yet again, seriously I'm so old.

Sunday: After waking up at 10 (heck yes I almost got twelve hours of sleep) I moseyed around the place for a bit before running some more errands, seriously I'm an errand master. And while I was running errands, Matt was getting himself a new car. So of course when I got home Matt was in the spot messing around with his new toy, haha:

So obviously if you ask him it was an awesome day. Not only did he get his dream car but he even got to watch the Super Bowl after, haha. So after messing around with the car a bit we headed to Matt's brother's girlfriend's parents house to watch the first part of the game. I must say, there really wasn't a whole lot to the game in the first half. And my goodness there were a lot of car commercials. I have to say though, speaking of the commercials, I think the Doritos ones were the best this year. Seriously I laughed out loud at all of them, hilarious.

And I must say also, I loved that there were so many movie previews, made the movie lover in me get all excited! I mean, how could I not get excited for G.I. Joe, Transformers 2, Angels and Demons, Land of the Lost, and Star Trek??? So ummm yeah we saw the rest of the game at Matt's dad's house where I somehow got into the game and was screaming most of the fourth quarter at the Cardinals to get their act together, haha. I'm pretty convinced that if they had done "the annexation of Puerto Rico" they could have won it, haha.

Anyhoo after the game Matt and I came home to play some Wii, do some reading and relax the night away prepping for another week of working. Loverly.

And how was your weekend? Super I hope? :)

happy monday!
