Tidbits of happy.

  • I feel like a celeb today (at least in the NKOTB world). My post from yesterday about meeting Jordan Knight has popped up in several NKOTB fan sites (even in France!Bonjour!). So Hi to everyone visiting. Glad I could confirm the New Kids rumors. :)
  • My friend Courtney sent me this old clip of Keanu back when he was promoting Speed and he talks about how great Sandra Bullock is and it's just so cute, check it out:

  • I finally finished reading Wicked! And yes I mean finally, remember I started reading this book back in freaking October! But lo and behold I made it through. It definitely was a book worth reading, but it didn't hold my attention the whole time. Some parts in the middle were just so slow I think that's why I put it down for a couple months. In short, it's a good book, just be prepared for some politics, some religion and some other stuff definitely not present in the musical. So if I had to make a decision I would definitely say the musical over the book. It's just more uplifting and fabulous and who doesn't love a musical?? Because clearly I'm obsessed :)

  • I got business cards yesterday. My very first business cards. With my name on it and everything. I feel so grown up, it's pretty awesome. Granted I don't know how many I'll actually give out, but it still feels cool to have them. (yes I know I am a huge dork, haha).

  • I'm wearing shorts to work today. Shorts people. And flip flops, let's not forget those. It's days like these I absolutely love my job and the fact that I'm in Southern California, it's pretty dang sweet.

happy tuesday!

You're right, Wicked the musical and Wicked the book really are TOTALLY different. But I love them both equally but differently :)

Congrats on your business cards! I've had mine for about 3 months and I've never given one out. Oh well, maybe some day!

I was beating myself up today for not wearing shorts!

Gotta love it down here.

Congrats on finishing Wicked.
That book is LONG! And I have heard that it could be boring towards the middle so most people put it down and forget about it.

SHORTS! To WORK.

NOT HAPPY.

NKOTB rocks my world.

Also I wanted you to know I've been thinking about Pacey I mean Joshua Jackson like, umm, all afternoon. A lot.

He's a tasty bit, no?

Yayy business cards! I have to say, every time anyone mentions their business cards, I think of American Psycho. Have you seen it? And I also really enjoyed the book Wicked, though I have to say - it's not my favorite musical.

I LOOOOVED the book, it's so dark and sexy and fantasy-y and political... definitely way different than the musical, but I like to think of them in the way I think of the two Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movies: Both are great in entirely different ways that there is absolutely no way you can nor should compare them.

I love the musical. Haven't read the book yet, though. I'll keep it in mind; thanks for the recommendation!

I think i made it half way through wicked before having to return it to the library, and it was 2 weeks overdue at that point. Whoops. One day i'll go get it again and finish reading! Congrats on finishing.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
