Hellish.

A couple months ago I got into this conversation with someone (Matt? my sister? myself?) about what hell would look like. And for some reason I developed this whole elaborate version of what my personal hell would be and have only added to it since. So of course (per the suggestion of Tara, Ev'Yan and my sister) I decided "why not blog about it?" and ta da! you get a post about hell, haha:

I would work at a styrofoam factory where CSI:Miami plays on repeat on every TV and the cafeteria only serves zucchini and mushroom dishes. All office notes would be written on chalk boards and the phones would ring the ridiculous generic Nokia ring tone. Spencer Pratt would be the CEO an Carrot Top would be VP and I'd have to see them every damn day.

There's probably more to add but that's all I've got for now. Clearly I have issues, but it's sort of funny right?

Now it's your turn. Tell me what your personal hell would be like.

Confessions.

As I was driving home from work yesterday this blog post just started writing itself. Because apparently I think of really random shit (yes I cuss...sometimes, haha) when I drive (or take a shower, seriously my most random and best ideas come when I'm driving to/from work or taking a shower, it's bizarre). Anyways, I thought for today's post I'd share some things about me (cause clearly they're things you want to know, clearly):
  • Keith Urban's newest CD has not left my CD player since Christmas.
  • Yes I still listen to CDs.
  • And yes I sing every song out loud and dance like the ridiculous person I am when I'm driving by myself.

  • I once hit a parked car.
  • The owner of the car was nuts.
  • I've been nervous when parking ever since.

  • I didn't cry at all during our wedding ceremony.
  • Oh but the speeches got the waterworks show.
  • And then (NO AND THEN - name that movie, haha) when I watched the video - waterfall of tears. Seriously my tearflow makes no sense!

  • Speaking of our wedding, I still miss it.
  • And I'm in love with our professional pictures.
  • Clearly.

  • I played the flute in 5th grade.
  • No there are no band camp jokes there.
  • It was 5th grade people!

Anything you'd like to confess before the weekend? Get it off your chest, really it's okay, you can do it!

Fridays are for...

  • not being sick (or at least telling myself that).
  • bullet points and pointless posts because I can.
  • saying "ohmygod it's almost December and then it'll be 2011 and just stop because ohmygod what?"
  • deleting "friends" on Facebook that I have to say "wait, who is that again?" and not feeling bad about it.
  • a song that makes me want to have a party, like now.
  • wine, lots of wine.
  • a picture that will always make me smile*

So what are your Fridays for?

happy weekend!
*I mean yeah I'm obsessed with my wedding photos and any reason to share one is good enough for me so I hope you don't mind and don't think I'm crazy and if you do just say so or don't either way is okay.

Tales of a sickie.

Usually on Mondays I do my weekend recaps. And usually my weekends are something to talk about. But not this past weekend. This past weekend was spent being sick and that's just lame.

I mean really I stayed home Friday from work and my day went something like this, bed to the couch, watch some movies, do some work, fall asleep, work some more, watch some more movies, have some more soup, sleep.

And Saturday? Oh Saturday was exciting! I slept in super late, made my way to the couch, relaxed, watched some more movies, slept some more, had some more soup (seriously our sink looked ridiculous full of bowls), relaxed some more, Matt brought me some Panera and we hung out and then I called it a night at nine. NINE FREAKING OH CLOCK. I hate you sickness, I hate you.

Sunday? Yeah not much better. I actually got dressed after I showered and watched the SVU marathon before sleeping on the couch some more. Eventually left to be social with some fam and Matt for a bit before calling it another early night.

I mean really, I single handedly kept Kleenex and Campbell's and Ricola and Dayquil in business this past week and I'm just sick of it.

So yeah not a whole lot to share in this post but rather to just whine that I need to not be sick any more because I want to do thing you know? And be social? And not go to bed at nine? And not sneeze a bagillion million times a day?

And to top it off, I'm pretty sure I got Matt sick too. Oh the joys of cohabitation, ricocheting sickness, oy vey.

So let's just pray this goes away soon because I'm just no fun and no good at being sick. Send the healthy vibes people, send away!

And how was your weekend? Do tell because I am so behind on my blog reading I'd really like to know, and I hope it's good and not sick ridden.

happy non-sick monday!

A snippet kind of weekend.

Here is what my oh so riveting and ridiculous (complete sarcasm) weekend looked like:

Dinner with my aunt and uncle, drink margaritas, sleep.

Eat, stomachache, shop - got this:

and this:

and I'm in luuuurve.

Bought some books, wedding reception, see old friends, sleep some more, dinner with family, stomachache, sore neck, sleep some more and then more.

Spend all day Sunday feeling like crap, watching DVRed shows, more season four of Dexter (holy crap people, holy crap only four more episodes to go and just WOW), Practical Magic then Twilight and half sleeping, drinking 7 up and playing the Sims.

Exciting times in the Katelinhood really.

Let's just hope this ickiness goes away, it's a busy week ahead and next weekend is set to be much more exciting and pictureful and awesome.

Hopefully your weekends were a wee bit better and healthier, anything exciting to share?

Oh! And don't forget to enter my giveaway, I mean it's for a fabulous cause people.

And Oh 2.0, today's my half birthday - weeeeee! Happy Half Birthday to me! :)

happy monday!

Skinny bitch.*

Hi. I'm Katelin.

I'm 26 years old, 5'9" and 158 pounds (give or take, it's been a while since I've been on a scale) and my jeans are a size 10.

Most days I try to embrace these features, I applaud these features, it's who I am, a healthy young woman. A woman with curves and boobs and an ass. But then there are other days, other days when a size 10 doesn't feel so good or even healthy and when my weight seems to have migrated only to my stomach and my jeans feel a little snug. Those are the days I dread, those are the days when I say I'm going to start working out again and stop eating so much cheese and drinking so much wine. And it's always on those days where I see an article like this to make me feel like a size 10 isn't normal after all, it's rather "plus size."

Lately I've been having some of the other days. But I can't complain about it or whine because all I have to do is wake up early, work out on the Wii or go walking with my mom after work and maybe cut back on the crap food and I'd be okay again, I'd feel like I did six months. It's the other days that remind me I have to be the one to change myself, to be the Loser to embrace the Me-Over and get serious.

So here's to hoping to more of the every days and not the other days and making an effort to love the woman I am.

*no idea why I picked this title but I wrote it and it stuck.

happy thursday!

This > That.

Today I felt like taking a bit out of miss Kyla's blogging book, so here goes:

sleeping in > waking up early
tomato basil humus > plain humus
cheese > all other food
movies > television
Artie > Mike Chang
pinot grigio > chardonnay
wearing a scarf > wearing shorts
yellow > pink
pumpkin scented candles > citrus scented candles
clean kitchen > clean bedroom
reading > working
being in Italy > not being in Italy

So what's on your on your list today?

The Case of the missing eyebrow.

A couple months ago I happened to look in the mirror when I noticed something looked a little off. Something was missing....

Part of my freaking eyebrow.

I kid you not folks, it's just gone away. My left eyebrow has decided it doesn't want to be full any more, rather just a partial brow of sorts and I am totally baffled.

I have no idea what happened or who attacked me with a razor in my sleep but it's weird. Maybe I'm just a medical mystery or I should hire Patrick Jane to figure out what happened (yes I realize no one died just my eye brow, but still having Simon Baker investigate would not be a bad idea).

Anyhoo, want to see the evidence? Here it is:

I mean right!? What the hell!?

Then again no one has really noticed it until I point it out to them so it's not that bad. But now you all know and I know and yeah, I just want my eyebrow back, haha.

So if you know any eyebrow remedies send them my way please.

So have you lost anything lately, haha?

I am so amused and quite easily.

As you all know, I am quite easily amused (heck I have a label titled "i'm easily amused") and lately there have been several things making me chuckle on a regular basis that you should probably know about if you don't already.

The newest Kia Soul commercial. Um I don't even care about the car, but for some reason, rapping hamsters is the key to my soul (ba dum ching) because this commercial makes me laugh every time it's on TV.

The Big Bang Theory. Yes I keep talking about this show, but ohmygoditsamazing. Basically when I get hooked on something new, I'm hooked for good (hello The Mentalist, Twilight mania, apples and cheese, etc). Matt and I just finished Season 2 and I cannot wait for Season 3 to be on DVD or Season 4 to start up in the Fall because this show always has me laughing. And in case you don't believe me check out this Christmas episode snippet and the ball pit, two of my most favorite scenes. (Also, Jim Parsons interview on Craig Ferguson...LOVE IT...Ding Dong!)

Wipeout. People that aren't me falling down and making asses of themselves? Sure. It makes me laugh. (also, how weird is it that I wrote a post about this show almost two years ago?? clearly my maturity level has not risen since then)

Okay so I know I said several things but that's just three and three isn't really several but just go with it okay? Awesome. They're funny right? Or I'm just ridiculous, either one works. So what's making you giggle lately? Don't be selfish, share the smiles people! :)

An Eclipsing day in Hollywood.

Another Tuesday, another fabulous day in Hollywood. So let's get started shall we?
  • Starting off this week's cuteness we have a new baby on the block, little Charlotte Prinze with mama Sarah Michelle Gellar. Seriously she is too cute and love those cheeks!

    oh so precious.

  • Also bringing some major cuteness is little Satyana Denisof and mama Alyson. Seriously they are the cutest little duo, I just love it.

    how freaking cute are they!?

  • In other bebe news, Mel Gibson's baby momma Oxana whatever is sort of nuts and their separation is all sorts of dramaful these days, yikes...the Lohan's are going to be on another TV show (yeah because that first one was solid TV gold, oy)...Kellie Pickler (oh how that girl makes me laugh) is newly engaged, congrats!...and apparently Megan Fox and Brian Austen Green have tied the knot, congrats to them as well I suppose...Matt LeBlanc had a grand ole time in London and definitely has some drunk face action going on, haha...Angelina Jolie opened up a bit in a new Vanity Fair interview...and although I haven't been the biggest fan of Katie Holmes lately, I am loving this fun loving picture of her and Malin Akerman:

  • In some favorites news....
Sandra Bullock is a single lady again and also has one hell of a divorce lawyer because I think that may be one the fastest Hollywood divorces ever.

A new fave to the mix, Mr. Zefron himself at the Dodger game I was at. And I admit, he's sort of dreamy.

    "I'm such a dreamboat"

Also in some favorites news, our favorite LiLu is in the running to be MTV's first TwitterJockey (TJ) and we all need to show our support, weee.

    LiLu for MTV TJ

  • And in today's Twilight news...
UM IS THERE ANY OTHER NEWS BESIDES THE FACT THAT I'M GOING TO SEE ECLIPSE AT MIDNIGHT??? No? Yeah I didn't think so either.

Oh well there was the Eclipse premiere last week and the trinity looked pretty fabulous. I mean a red suit Rob? That is daring. And Kristen you don't look too miserable. And Taylor, oh Taylor you can do no wrong.

suave and chic and ah, just ah.

  • And in movie news...
One movie that makes sense and I can't wait for: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I. A new trailer was released and man this movie just looks better and better every time.

However a movie that makes absolutely no sense AT ALL. Titanic 2. Um. Did we see the same movie? Why oh why does someone think this is a good idea???

  • And in music news...
The BET Awards were on Sunday and I didn't see any of it but I watched most of Chris Brown's performance and his dancing is awesome but um him crying, seriously crying while singing "Man in the Mirror" was just all sorts of awkward. Anyhoo here are some pics from the night.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news we have one hell of a headline. I mean it doesn't even need a story:

And that's what's going on in Hollywood, woo. Anything I missed let me know.

happy tuesday!

The Makeup dilemma.

Yes I've had a shoe dilemma and a hair dilemma and you guys have been awesome so help a girl out with her latest "crisis" please.

As I've mentioned a few times on the blog here, I'm not much of a makeup person. And whenever I do throw on some eye shadow or lipstick my friends and Matt notice because hello! It's a change. And I like a change every now and then.

And I sort of want a change for my wedding. But that's where the issue comes in. I want someone to do my makeup for me on my wedding day, but I don't want it to overtake my face. I don't want the makeup to wear me, I want to wear makeup and still look like myself.

Basically I don't want to look like this:

But rather this:

or this:

Not a problem right? Wrong.

I mean I could do my makeup myself or enlist the help of a friend for cheap but I don't want to add any more duties to my friends or put that sort of pressure on them to make me look kick ass. But at the same time every makeup artist that has responded to me so far has been no less than $200 for a trial run and day of makeup.

Um. Say what!?

$200 for my makeup? Makeup that I guarantee will be easier to apply than most girls because I'll probably nix a lot of froofy ideas and want to go pretty plain Jane with a bit of flair. I just can't stomach that price, it seems ridiculous to me.

So what should I do?

Go to a counter demonstration and have professionals how to do my makeup myself? Keep looking and hope there's someone out there that's more afordable? Try and bargain with the ones that have already responded? Enlist the help of my makeup savvy friends? Wear a paper bag over my head? (I kid on that last one)

So freaders, what would you do in my situation? Or if you got married, what did you do?

I thank you all already for being awesome and helping me through my oh-so-pertinent dilemmas, haha.

happy thursday!

A Me-over.

A couple days ago I was in the grocery store and I realized that I needed a Me-over.

And with that I bought all sorts of veggies and random foods that I never buy regularly (chick peas, cottage cheese, artichoke hearts to name a few) and came home rejuvenated. I realized that I needed to start eating better and more balanced. So I did.

The next night I was home by myself and I made myself this dinner with a few alterations and it was delicious and different and I was proud of myself. After dinner I did the dishes right away, then brought out the massive stack of bills and papers I had let accumulate on our dresser and filed them all away while I watched a movie that had been sitting on our DVR for a month.

Eventually I was done sorting and filing and throwing stuff away and it felt amazing. It felt like my life had been sorted out just a little bit more.

That night after a trip to the bar I came home, put laundry away and washed my face before bed (a habit I have been desperately trying to keep) and did a little reading on Italy. It was like something clicked.

Now the only thing missing from this new, inspired and motivated me is the working out part. If you remember at the beginning of the year I was working out a lot, training for the half marathon and just being a good ole Loser. And then I got sick, got busy, demotivated, and thoroughly enjoyed my sleep. And I still do.

But now the fact that I have my first official dress fitting in less than three weeks is starting to press on me. I have been the complete opposite of most brides and have probably gained weight, instead of lost it and it's just frustrating.

So what's the point of this post? To put it all out there again. Putting it out there that I, Katelin will tone up what I have, not go all crazy diet on everyone but will eat healthier and in smaller portions and get my butt in gear and utilize the EA Active again and walk around the Rose Bowl on a regular basis again and look all sorts of awesome when August 28th rolls around.

So this my friends is the beginning of my Me-over. Wish me luck.

ah! a cupcake! get it away!

happy weekend!

The name game.

So I was going to surprise everyone and just magically switch my blog to wordpress one day but turns out there is a lot to go into it and how I'm going to have to get some new schnazzy pants design because there is no way I can do it myself and who just wants to make something pretty for me anyways?

And with this whole switch comes the big question about my blog name.

When I started this little blog three years ago I picked a quote from one of my favorite Dispatch songs "Flying Horses" (seriously listen to it) and gorgeous footsteps in the sand... was born. However I never realized that such a long title and such a long blogspot would be such a hassle to tell people and rewrite myself and get down and it was just a hassle.

So a year or so later I finally went to google and bought prettysandyfeet.com because it was cute and short and simple and easy to remember and sort of linked up to my blog title.

So now the question is, what do I do about my new blog and the title???

Do I keep gorgeous footsteps in the sand or do I rebrand the blog as pretty sandy feet?

Ah! Dilemma! Decisions! Help! I'm torn!

And this is where you all come in. Yes I've already asked on Twitter more than once (and most of you voted to change) but clearly I need some more convincing. Help a sister out and vote and give me good reasons and tell me it'll all be okay when I move this blog and ah, hold me.

an homage to my original header pic.
er at least i think it was the original.
close to at least.

Blahs and Squees.

Yesterday I couldn't really think of what to write about because life is just too busy and crazy and exciting and I know I said I just wouldn't blog if I didn't have to but I wanted to and ah, I'm rambling, so here we go.

Things that are blah:
  • Tonight will be the last night I'm at Matt's mom's house since she's moving this weekend. It's just so sad to say goodbye to the house that's had so many good memories.

  • I hate packing. It sort of stresses me out because I can never figure out if I've brought enough stuff or too much and ah!

  • Some of my faves won't be coming to Vegas and that makes me sad.
Things that are squeeee worthy:
  • I'm heading to Vegas TOMORROW! Holy crap it's tomorrow. And I finally get to meet some bloggers I've been reading forever and meet new ones and ah! Excited!

  • And next Friday four of my friends from college are flying to LA and it begins my Bachelorette/Bridal shower weekend that I know nothing about and it's all a surprise and all sorts of friends are coming and ohmygoodness I cannot wait.

  • Mustache toppers. Seriously they make me laugh and my new Facebook profile pic cracks me up.

  • 101 days until Matt and I get married!!

Basically life is all sorts of crazy and how is today only Wednesday?

What's blah or squee in your life today??

happy wednesday!

A hankering for Hollywood.

Helloooo Hollywood! And welcome to Tuesday. Here we go!
  • Starting off this week's uber cuteness we have little Levi and Mama Camila on a bike ride. Seriously he is such a cutie, but where was shirtless daddy this time?

he looks so nervous, but it's so cute!

  • Also bringing some uber cuteness is soon-to-be big sister Olive Cohen with mama Isla Fisher. Seriously that girl is always grinning and I love that Isla checked out "I'm a Big Sister" for her, precious!

    smiley preciousness, lurve it.
  • Also in bebe news, some congrats are also in order to new mom Amy Adams and third time mom Claudia Schiffer, who both welcomed little girls over the weekend!

  • In some non-bebe news...Jessica Biel is Broadway bound! Girl's come a long way from 7th Heaven alright, wow....Remember Chris Klein? Apparently he auditioned for Mama Mia! and I honestly don't know why he didn't get the part *lots of sarcasm*...Betty White and Tracy Morgan did a photo shoot together and the behind the scenes video is exactly the ridiculousness you would expect...Salma Hayek is changing her name because her daughter asked her too, cute?...And talk about aging gracefully, Diane Lane looked amazing at Cannes over the weekend and I would totally rock that elegant blue dress, seriously she is awesome:

    oh la la.

  • In some favorites news..
Hollywood hottie Ryan Gosling graced LAX Sunday and I never knew a cardigan could look so good on a man, I mean really, swoonface.

hawtness to the nth degree, haha.

  • In Twilight news...
The Eclipse soundtrack listing has officially been released and yep, looks about as emo and dark and broody as the other two and I'll definitely be owning it.

Also, Rob got a hair cut! Ahhhhh. Well not really ahhh but still, big news people, big news, haha. I kid, I could care less but I love how everyone went nuts. And as much as I love Twilight I can't wait for Water for Elephants to start filming and come to theaters, I hope they do it justice.

Also in Twilight news, a big congrats goes out to the ladies at Letters to Twilight who will be dining with Stephenie Meyer at a super secret, super elite, special luncheon to talk all things Twilight. Um awesome right? And just think, I gave one of the co-founders my copy of Twilight to read and the rest is history, congrats girls!

  • And in movie news...
Two Marilyn Monroe biopics are in the works and Naomi Watts and Michelle Williams will both be playing her. I wonder who will do it best? And seriously how does this always happen? I mean Capote and Infamous? Volcano and Dante's Peak? Weird.

  • And in TV news...
Law and Order. The original has officially be axed after twenty seasons on the air. It was the original L&O that got me into SVU and made me such a fan so it's sort of sad to see it go even if the whole cast is completely different, haha.

Heroes. Another one of my old favorites has been canceled after only four seasons. It had a good run though and brought us some new stars and sayings "Save the cheerleader, save the world", whatever that means, haha.

The Mentalist. Looks like Jane has a lady love? Interesting. Also, is it me or is the man getting more suave as the season goes on? Swoooon.

Top Model. Well another season over and I actually didn't care that much. I feel like some of the best girls went home too soon and I did not like any of the top four all that much. And could they have made it any more obvious who was going to win it? I mean really. Anyhoozits, check out Four Four for spoilers and a giftastic post.

Desperate Housewives. Oh what a finale! Check out my recap over here.

  • Lastly in today's WTFness we have Tila Tequilla. I mean really. Ew. I'd be okay if she hopped on that plane to nowhere with the fellow banned peoples.

So anything I missed? Let me know!

happy tuesday!

But I don't want the world to end.

So have I mentioned before how I'm a major wuss and am starting to become a bit paranoid? No? I haven't? Oh. Well. I am.

Let me just put it out there....I have an irrational fear of the world ending. Seriously, I'm not kidding. I hate end of the world themed movies (except Independence Day because you just can't hate that movie and hello! Harry Connick Jr. has a role [albeit brief] in it and I heart him big time) because they freak me out and hello I'm not a good swimmer so if a massive wave came there is no way I'd survive that and I was never a girl scout so I don't really have "survival skills" and the end of the world is just a downer.

So needless to say that all of the earthquakes that have been going on around the world have me a little on edge. And the fact that a 4.4 (yes I know that's nothing compared to other quakes worldwide but for all I knew it was "The Big One") hit LA on Tuesday morning did not help my paranoia (well that and the fact that there have been so many huge earthquakes around the world lately it's just nerve wrecking!).

Also, let's be honest, I just don't want the world to end! There is so much I want to do in my life and 2012 is just not enough time. So Hollywood, stop making movies that offer legitimate (well to me they sound legitimate) evidence that the world is going be hit by a giant hurricane or a ridiculous earthquake because my wussy heart just can't take it. That and all this 2012 stuff is messing with my psyche (right word? I have no idea) and I hope it's all a big flop like Y2K.

So um can we still be friends even though I'm a big paranoid weirdo?

Or are you afraid of big natural disasters too?

happy thursday!

Text me.

I think I'm becoming a texter. Seriously what is wrong with me? First I start drinking coffee then I start to like red wine and now I'm becoming a texter all of a sudden, what is going on?!?

If you know me in real life you'd know that I rarely used to text people. If someone texted me I would call them back. I only had 200 texts on my plan and I just didn't like doing it, it was boring and tedious and I was all about calling to make plans because clearly that is just way easier.

However now I have an iphone (which makes texting so much easier, hello auto correct, I pretty much love you, pretty much being the key word because you have yet to accept that I say "haha" way more than "gaga" in texts, but whatever, I can move past that), I've upped my plan to 1,500 texts because people wouldn't stop texting me so I was getting charged for going over and now I've become a texter. I text! A lot! I don't think I've made it anywhere past 400 yet but still it's a little nuts and a wee bit overwhelming for someone who rarely texted anyone.

I feel like I've entered a new realm of technology or something, like some hidden texting group that was forbidden before and I'm just not sure how I feel about it. I sort of miss phone calls as my minutes go unused and my text number sky rocket. But alas I guess that's just the way it goes, maybe one day people will remember how to dial again and we'll actually chat, that would be lovely.

So are you a talker or a texter, or the mythical both?

*and yes I know I used a picture of ridiculously old phones, but I totally had that one! It was my first phone eva! So of course it was appropiate.

Moving Sale.

First of all, thank you for all the comments on yesterday's post with our engagement pictures. Matt and I really had a good time all around and are just a silly pair and I'm glad you liked them. And perhaps I'll share some more later, we'll see about that.

Anyhoo, moving on.....So I haven't really mentioned it on here before but my office is moving...upstairs. And because we're moving and getting all swankified we'll no longer be able to put stuff up on our walls. Not a big deal right? Welllll..... this is what my office space currently looks like:

What can I say? I accumulate pictures and posters and random crap and just put it up on the wall. And most of it is stuff I don't want to put up at home so it goes up here. Well not any more. Some of the stuff I'll throw away, other stuff I'll find a way to make work in the new space, others will come home with me and then there's the stuff that I have no idea what to do so I figured I'd give it away. I know this post says Sale but really I just want my random crap to find a good home. So what random crap is it you ask?

An autographed poster of Little Miss Sunshine. Seriously it's signed by the whole cast.

A not signed but equally awesome poster of Puck and Artie from Glee.

An genie themed Bratz doll.

A Johnson Family Vacation trucker hat.

A Smack Down Raw action figure.

A Hercules glass mug.

A Scooby Doo bank.

So do you want any of this? Email me 0r comment here and I'll send it your way. I'm packing up next week so let me know soon. I mean how could you not want a Hercules mug or a genie Bratz doll, haha???

and please tell me I'm not the only one with too much stuff around their desk, please!

happy thursday!

I should be embarrassed.

But really I'm not. I just don't always like to admit it. But I am. Right now. Right this second. I should be but am no longer embarrassed about the following...
  • I love country music, especially Keith Urban. Like I blare Keith music at work and try not to sing along it's that good.
  • I go to YouTube just to listen to "Tik Tok" and I cannot stop. And I don't even like Mick Jagger or brushing my teeth with Jack, ew.
  • My ears. They are huge. And they stick out, a lot. Well maybe not so much any more but I've been plagued with embarrassment since I was ridiculed as a kid and called Dumbo. But now. I just don't give a damn and I love my ears, earringless and all.
  • I just finished a book called Sugar Daddy and I'm about to start Blue Eyed Devil. If that doesn't scream chic lit I don't know what else would. But I don't care anymore, the book can sit face up in my passenger seat now.
  • I hate driving and I'm horrible at parking. So much so that I try to not drive anyone around if I can avoid it. I know it's lame and mean but I'm so embarassed at my horrible skills that I just get nervous and with that I am no longer embarassed, I'm saying it loud and proud. I suck at parking.

  • I allow pictures like this to stay tagged and up on Facebook. Clearly I have no shame and I won't be embarrassed.

I know there are probably more embarrassing things that I just need to own up to but I can't think of anything at the moment. So yes this is me not being embarrassed.

What about you? Anything you need to stop being embarrassed about.

happy weekend!

Hollywood adorableness, more Twilight interviews and a sparkly dress.

The first Hollywood post of the year, do you think you can handle it?
  • Starting off this week's cuteness we have the oh so adorable Satyana Denisof, Alyson Hannigan's daughter. Seriously she is all sorts of preciousness and should basically be friends with Seraphina because they're both so adorable.

    aw preciousness!

  • Also in some new year cuteness we have Heidi Klum and her daughter Leni getting ready for some adorable ice skating. Seriously such a cute mommy and daughter duo.

    aw aren't they just adorable.

  • Also in bebeness, Matthew McConaughey and Camilla Alves had a new baby girl, Vida...Kourtney Kardashian showed off a new picture of baby Mason (that mildly freaks me out)...and Kendra Wilson shared a picture of baby Hank on her twitter and umm it's sort of cute and Kendra may or may not be growing on me.

  • Moving on from the bebes and onto some Hollywood happenings...the newest cast of Celebrity Apprentice has been revealed and although I never watch the show I'll be rooting for Curtis Stone, freaking love his show and his cooking...apparently Rihanna has a new man in her life and it's one of my favorite Dodgers, Matt Kemp, not bad Rihanna, not bad at all...Vince Vaughn got married over the weekend and I know there's gotta be a Wedding Crashers joke in there somewhere but I just can't think of it right now..Not like I need any more shows to watch, but one of my favorites, James Van Der Beek, is going to have a recurring role on Mercy, woo Dawson!...and lastly, although not her best look I am quite the fan of Nicole Richie's sparkly New Year's Eve dress, I would totally rock it.

    sooo sparkly.

  • And in Twilight news, I realized that I never shared my interviews with the Volturi and the director Chris Weitz, so here we go.

    interview with the Volturi.

    and chatting with Chris Weitz.

  • In movie news...
NINE. Yes I know I talked about it yesterday but I just have to say that Fergie's song "Be Italian" and Kate Hudson's number "Cinema Italiano" are so freaking catchy I can't stop listening to them.

  • And in TV news....
Brothers and Sisters. So of course Kitty is going to live and it was sort of cute that her and Robert renewed their views but um having her have had a past affair with Anderson Cooper (I'm assuming it was him since they called him the Silver Fox and that is his nickname) was rather random and funny. Also the whole Ryan thing was just annoying, gah he's just annoying in general. That and the whole episode just wrapped everything up too quickly, hopefully they'll go into more detail on next week's episode.

The Mentalist. So have I mentioned my recent obsession with this show??? Matt and I started watching some of it over the summer and then what's aired so far in season two and then Matt got season one for Christmas and we watched the whole thing. Whole thing people, the whole shabang of a fabulous season. And I officially have a new crush on Simon Baker, well newer because I did heart him in Something New and The Devil Wears Prada. But um if you're not watching this show you probably should, like wo.

    so zexy.

Desperate Housewives. Oh what a fun episode to come back to, and check my review over at BSC Reviews.

  • Lastly in today's WTF news, a woman in Ohio started throwing punches at McDonald's employees when they wouldn't serve her chicken mcnuggets. Apparently it's never smart to get between a drunk and her nuggets, haha.

And that's what I've got today, anything I've missed let me know!

happy tuesday!
