All around Hollywoooood.

Ooh my Hollywood. So I apologize if this post isn't chock full of all the best of the best of Hollywood, you'd think with having the day off yesterday that I'd have more time to blog (and read blogs!) but alas that was not the case and so I don't know if I'm completely caught up on the know. Anyhoo here goes....
  • This week's cute bebes are accompanied by their even cuter dads, I mean really, these children were destined to be adorable:

Christian Bale and his daughter Emmeline

all the Beckham boys at a Laker Game
    Italic

Aren't they all just so dang cute?! Love it.

  • In big time music news two things have happened. One. TRL has officially shut down and is no longer. MTV had a big to do for the last show on Music Television that actually played snippets of music. I must say I am a wee bit sad even though it's not like I watched it any more, but I did get in the audience back in the day when Mr. Mariah Carey was hosting and it was pretty fun. Oh well, so long music videos!
And two. Apparently some twat decided to leak Britney Spear's newest CD, Circus, this weekend. Her CD isn't supposed to come out for two more weeks so it sort of stinks that it's been leaked so early. Has anyone heard it yet? Is it good? I'm slightly curious and definitely still rooting for a kick ass comeback.

  • In other music news, one of my faves Josh Kelley is performing tomorrow at the Hotel Cafe and if anyone would like to go with me I'd love the company :)
Oh and if you have no idea who he is, he's married to Katherine Heigl....still doesn't mean anything, check out his Myspace. Woo.

  • Other favorites news....Twilight. Did you know it's coming out in theaters this Friday? Did I mention that already? Haha. But no really, I started Breaking Dawn yesterday and I'm liking it already and I'm definitely curious to see where it's going. But really, the movie. This weekend. Wahoo.

    le swoon oh swoon

  • Hey guy readers, I didn't forget about you. Here's the oh so hot Heidi Klum at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show this past weekend, seriously if I was a guy I'd have a crush on her:

  • And from Heidi we go to some tranny fabulousness. Remember Isis from Top Model? How could you forget her, she's the first tranny on the show! Anyhoo, Ty Ty, being the angel that she is, surprised Isis on her show by offering to pay for and arrange her sex change operation. Now I agree that is one awesome gift since the operation is apparently thirty five thousand or something like that, but just know that Tyra will bring up this act of kindness any chance she gets. Oh I love the crazy Ty. But congrats Isis!

  • In other TV news...
Umm actually there is too much TV to talk about without making this post even longer so I'll save it for later. Just know that all my shows are pretty great, the Hills folks are for sure doing a season five and Steven Weber is officially everywhere!

  • And lastly today's WTF news comes from a man and his invention....a vibrating toilet seat. Yeah I'll just let that one settle. Everyone wants some vibration to get them going in the morning right? Haha, wow, just wow.

And that's what's happening in Hollwoooood? Anything I missed?

happy tuesday!

November is for birthdayness.

Oh another weekend come and gone, and woo hoo it's still going for me since I took today off of work today, holla. Anyhoo, so how was the weekend you ask? Let me tell ya:

Friday: Made it home from work, changed and got ready with Matt and Megan to get going for Katrina's birthday party at Howl at the Moon (seriously I love that place). We got there just in time as the birthday girl was getting nice and trashed and Megan and I, being the good friends that we are, bought her a birthday bucket of Adios goodness.

kat enjoying her bucket

bff's for life :)

two of my most favorite people

After the bucket was gone and a couple drinks later the night quickly came to a halt as the birthday girl had to be carried away to recover from the over indulgence of birthdayness, haha. Luckily she had a good boyfriend to take care of her and me, Megan, Matt, Megan's sis and boyfriend were all able to head over to Saddle Ranch to finish out the night.

Seriously I forgot how fun Saddle Ranch was, we danced, and watched people ride the bull (Megan's sis included) and had an all around great time.

megan's sis on the bull

megan and j.r., oh so cute

aw me and matt

Saturday: Twas a loverly day. Got to sleep in a while and then headed to the Pasadena Expo to get my race packet for the half marathon on Sunday. Afterwards I, like a nerd, read Eclipse while I waited for Matt to meet me at the movies for a nice afternoon date. Granted I don't know that I would really consider Zack and Miri Make a Porno a great date movie, haha. That movie was so funny, so dirty and oh so awesome. After the movie we headed to Matt's dad's house for dinner, which was pretty fun. Got to chat Twilight with Matt's brother's girlfriend and even made plans to see the movie next Saturday (wahoo!), plans that also involve the boys, haha. I already warned Matt that I may drool when I say Edward....er Rob Pattinson on screen, I mean how could I not:

We didn't end up staying too long though because I had to get a long night's sleep for an early rise for the half-marathon I was planning on walking in on Sunday.

Sunday: Got a call nice and early from my mom sadly informing me that the marathon I was planning on walking in was canceled due to the poor air quality because of all the fires going on. Needless to say I was sad that I wouldn't get to walk in the half marathon after months of training however I definitely reasoned that I had no real reason to be upset since my house wasn't in danger like so many other So Cal people. But really, it was still depressing. So when Matt woke up early to golf I just rolled back over into bed to sleep the day away.

After a couple more hours I sleep I migrated out of bed to catch up on the DVR and eventually kicked back with the Ipod on classical music and the last 150 pages of Eclipse. It. Was. Awesome.
Post-Eclipse (seriously I was a bit emotional, it's a good thing Matt wasn't home, haha) I went on a cleaning spree around the house, seriously it was bizarre. Before I knew it it was time to head to my aunt's house for what was going to be our celebratory post-half-marathon dinner but turned into a game night of Scene It and tacos and margaritas as an early birthday celebration for my sister (who's turning the big 21 in 8 days, woo woo). It was such a great night of stories, drinks, great food and even better company.

kourt and her birthday cake, woo

And really nothing ends a great night like cheesecake and champagne, holla.

After the party I ended the night relaxing with TV and Matt and it was fabulous, fabulous I say.

And that my friends was le weekend. Today should probably just be considered more weekend since I took the day off anticipating that my legs would be killing me and I'm headed to lunch with Matt and the spa with my mom, it's going to be superb. And in between all of that and whenever other chances I get I'll most likely be reading Breaking Dawn, haha.

And how was your weekend everyone? Any champagne, crazy fires smogging up the air, or lovely Twilight stories to share, haha?

happy monday!

I need the weekend, stat.

Have you ever realized that you do something simply because you saw it on TV?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Yeah well I learned that I have started incorporating TV lingo into my everyday speak. On Wednesday I was talking online to my friend and I typed "I need to go on vacation, stat." She then replied "Stat? What is that?" She really had no idea what the word stat meant and I actually had to look it up and post the definition, which is:

Medical term used to imply urgent or rush. It may appear in lower case letters as stat or in capital letters as STAT, as in "Treatment may include STAT surgery." The term is derived from the Latin word "statim" which means immediately.

I then asked my coworkers if they ever heard anyone say "stat" in conversation and they both said "well only you and medical shows." And that's when it hit me. I've started talking like a doctor, haha. I've already established that I'm no Doc and actually have quite the opposite effect, but that doesn't mean I don't talk like one. Apparently all my years of watching episodes of Grey's, E.R. and SVU are rubbing off without me even noticing.

I wonder if I'll start saying 'legendary' or 'fetch' next? Haha.

So does anyone else say 'stat' or some other random word they picked up from TV or a movie without noticing? Or is it just me? haha.

happy weekend!

From eh to awesome.

So apparently I can't really put together a full on post without bullet points or huge spaces and that trend is continuing today, just so you know....

Things that were eh about yesterday:
  • My credit card bill. Ew.

  • The fact that I woke up multiple times during the night tossing and turning and making me ridiculously exhausted during the day.

  • My hamstring that has yet to fully stop hurting, ugh.

  • I was still in a weird sort of 'funk.' Don't know how to explain it or what it is but it's still lingering.

Things that were awesome about last night:
  • My random tuna, pasta, Alfredo sauce, onion, and tomato dinner that I managed to put together.

  • I got my Autumn Mix CD swap (that Legally Heidi put together) in the mail from July Bug that I can't wait to listen to!

  • Not only that, I came home to my free Nintendo DS. Oh yes, you heard me right, a free DS. Much thanks go to Brand About Town for that one. And I think Matt would probably want to thank them too for the awesomeness.

  • My neighbor came over for a Top Model/Stylista "marathon" which was totally girlie and completely what I needed.

  • Not only did we divulge ourselves in girlie TV we also talked Twilight and of course that just makes me happy.

  • Ending my night curled up with Eclipse and Matt, mmmmmlovely.

And how has your day been?

happy thursday!

Dear Wednesday oh Wednesday.

Dear Ryan,

Happy Birthday!!! Hope you have a most fabulous 28th birthday even if it is without Rachel. However, you know where I work so just come on by and we'll get a cupcake or something :)

From,
your new bff

Dear half marathon,

Please oh please don't kick my ass this Sunday. I've been prepping for a while now and I feel ready so please oh dear please don't kick my ass.

From,
my sore hamstring

Dear California weather,

Please make up your damn mind. First it's hot, then it's rainy, now it's sort of coldish and windy, and now it's supposed to get in the 80s. WTF!? It's November, give me some November weather already okay? Is that too much to ask? Sweet. Thanks.

Love
a superfan of Autumn

To the crazy Twilight fans,

Stop being so damn crazy! And stop bombarding all these mall appearances and leave poor Rob and company alone. It almost freaks me out a bit. However your craziness also makes me look less and less like a superfan and I sort of love it. So thanks in a way, thanks.

From,
a not so obsessed Twilighter

Dear Rob and Kristen,

Seriously you two are just so cute together and I haven't even seen the movie yet and I just love seeing you two together. And the outtake pictures from the Vanity Fair shoot....loooove!

Love,
one of your biggest non-crazed fans

Oh my Matt,

I know you are probably (okay not probably definitely....) are getting annoyed with my latest Twilight obsession and huge crush on Rob Pattinson but do know you're still my Numero Uno, El Fuego of all of my el Fuegos, the best of the best and my favorite of all my favorites. So yeah you should probably just get used to my obsession and love me anyways okay? Sweet. Thanks. Love you!

Love,
your sweet chinchilla

Dear hairstylist,

Why oh why oh why did you have to leave!?!? I have yet to call your cell so I don't exactly know where you went, but please still be cutting hair! I only trust so many people with my hair and it's scary to start all over again. I need you to cut my hair!

From,
Katelin's hair

Dear life,

Do something. I don't know what I'm waiting for or what I want you to do, but I feel like something is coming and I don't know what that is. But I'm ready. Just so you know.

Love,
Katelin

Dear Wednesday,

Why aren't you Friday?

The end.

From,
Katelin

The Bald and the Beautiful of Hollywood.

Either not a lot of stuff is happening in Hollywood these days or just not cool enough to totally grasp my attention. Nonetheless I bring you today's Hollywood best...
  • For today's bebe cuteness I bring back little Suri who I haven't featured in a while. But really how I could not post this pic of little Suri and her only friend, Paddington Bear:

and seriously people, where's the jacket???

  • Usually next I would talk about which Hollywood guy I'm currently swooning over but my goodness I just had to share John Travolta's latest makeover and say WOW:

Oh how I miss the days of Danny Zuko:

  • In sad couples news, my third favorite couple in Hollywood has broken up yet again. And who is this couple? None other than my other boyfriend Ryan Gosling and his now ex-again Rachel McAdams. Seriously I love them together and I was so happy when they got back together, but alas they are done yet again. Sad times folks.

  • In happier favorites news, Rob Pattinson is still adorable and Twilight is still coming out in 10 days! Woo! And the LA Times has been publishing a Twilight story every day including interviews with the cast and other faves and man it's just exciting. However not so exciting but just plain weird, a young fan recently asked Rob if he would bite her?!? And she was serious!?! Okay now I know I can't stop talking about Twilight and that some may consider me obsessed (mostly just Matt) but I would never ask something like that and I wouldn't follow Rob around everywhere he went either, I almost feel bad for him.

    oh le swoon, le swoon

Oh and also...how the heck did the original Twilighters not think Rob was a great fit for the role!?!?! Apparently people went on a rampage on the internet at his casting choice, yeah well they've all changed their minds now, haha.

Oh and final Twilight related fact of the day, apparently Rob is not allowed to cut his hair because it's considered his trademark or something like that, I love it. Love it.

  • Oh hi male readers, still here? I know I've talked a lot about my love of Twilight lately so here's Mila Kunis (Matt's other girlfriend, haha):

    yeah she's pretty hot, haha.

  • In TV news...
Desperate Housewives. Or should I call it Dawson's Creek a la Pacey Whitter and Miss Jacobs era. Seriously it's getting a little nutty, the kids of Wisteria Lane are so effed up it's crazy. And Julie is back next week and dating an older man and Dylan is already married and pregnant and supposedly only 22?!! Come on now. Was there something in the water that all the kids of Wisteria had to be so messed up? Haha.

Top Model. I am still behind. Slap my wrists and I will catch up before this week's episode if they actually play it on the right day, damn you Clippers for taking over my daily dose of Ty Ty and company.

How I Met Your Mother/The Hills. Wondering why I have clumped these two totally different and totally awesome shows together? Yes, I bet you are. Well apparently my two worlds of good sitcom and trashy reality are coming together and Heidi and Spencer will be guest starring on HIMYM....THE HORROR!!!! Seriously when I saw the story last week I thought it had to be a lie and now my worst fears have been confirmed. Ugh. Seriously writers, seriously??? Why not Lauren at least or whiny Audrina even? Why oh why Spencer and Heidi??? I may just go throw up now, eck.

One more Hills tidbit, Brent Bolthouse you are officially my new favorite person on the show. Telling Spencer off and that he's just awkward...freaking priceless, I love it.

  • In movie news, last night I went and saw Changeling and it most definitely lived up to the hype of being a great drama of the year. Angelina really is more than an action drama sort of actress and really delivers in the movie. Seriously I was in awe the whole time of the story and the acting, it was amazing. I definitely recommend checking this one out, it will most likely get an Oscar nod too.

  • And lastly today's WTF news comes from a woman that had a little too much fun on Halloween and started punching and attacking cops. And that's not even the best part, her mugshot is beyond priceless:

    haha, love it.

And that my friends is today's Hollywood scoop, anything I missed?

***and how the heck could I forget Leo's birthday?!?!
Happy 34th Birthday Mr. DiCaprio!
Hope it's fantabulous! :)

happy tuesday!

A non-busy busyish sort of weekend.

So the weekend has come and gone oh yet again. And can you believe that after this weekend I didn't take a single picture, not one! Ah! What is wrong in the world?! haha. However, even without pictures it was still quite loverly...

Friday: After work I headed home and hung out with Matt and celebrated some good news and headed out to dinner. Twas quite the tasty dinner and a good quiet night. Afterwards we headed home, enjoyed some champagne, watched some shows on the DVR and overall had a fabulous relaxing evening.

Saturday: Woke up earlyish (seriously my body just doesn't like sleeping through the nigh any more it's freakin annoying) and got ready for the day. My cousin and her fiancee just bought a new house (well by just I mean three months ago, but still soonish) and had a lovely housewarming party with the whole family over. And it was definitely the perfect weather for a BBQ (85 in November?!??! WTF California!?!). Post-BBQ I went with my cousin and her mom wedding dress shopping and since I am the MOH (Maid of Honor, holla!) I got to go too. And really, it was sort of awesome. Yeah I got all lovey dovey afterwards but I mean really, how could I not? After trying several dresses on, we found "the one" and it was perfect. Seriously she looked amazing and I can't wait for it to all come together in a year. And not only that, but we found my bridesmaid dress too and I sort of love it. Chocolate brown and fabulous:

And yet again I have a goal for next year, woo. It's going to be lovely, woo for weddings!

After the day of weddingness I headed out to dinner with Matt and his dad, where I had one of the best pizzas of my life (arugula, prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke and pesto sauce...yummmmmmm). Sadly after dinner my head was pounding and my night was cut short with Matt and I battling it out playing each other in Scene It Squabble, haha. After the game I passed out in hopes of sleeping away the headache...and apparently it worked because Matt said he came in ten minutes later with me conked out and my face in the pillow, haha.

Sunday: I got to sleep in which was awesome and Matt headed out to play golf so I had the place to myself. I finally moseyed out of bed and made my way to the couch where I plugged in my Ipod, played some classical music and enjoyed the last hundred pages of New Moon. Seriously I am in love with these books and cannot wait for the movie. I know I keep talking about it, but really I can't stop. I even went to a couple grocery stores (and had my aunt get one from her bookstore) to track down Vanity Fair and Entertainment Weekly's both featuring stories and interviews and pics from the movie, haha. I even got a book that chronicles the movie and the first book and it's fabulous. After my lazy day I went on my nine mile walk with my fam in prep for the half marathon we're walking (that's in a week!!) and came back to a lazy evening watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall and my Sunday shows and hanging out. Twas oh so nice.

And that my friends was my weekend in a loverly busyish sort of nutshell.

And how was your weekend?

happy monday!

I'm a Twilighter, are you a Twilighter?

It's Friday! Woo. However Friday also means...

...my brain is mush, mush I say! So with the mushy brain you get some bullet points of the random gibberish that are streaming through my head this fine Friday morning...annnnnd go:
  • Twilight is taking over my life. I just hope my friends, my coworkers, Matt especially aren't getting too annoyed with my constant Twilight talk, I just can't help it!

  • However, slowly but surely I am converting some of my friends to the world of Twilight, muaw haha.

  • If a Twilighters Anonymous exists, I should probably join.

  • I'm halfway through New Moon and Edward seriously needs to get back in the picture, like stat, it's driving me nuts.

  • Speaking of Edward, Rob Pattinson also sings! He sings! Le swoon. I need the soundtrack like yesterday.

  • Okay no more Twilight talk....

  • for today :)

  • I found $5 in my jeans pocket this morning. I think I screamed in joy.

  • Tomorrow is wedding dress shopping with my cousin and I'm secretly really excited.

  • Okay it's not really a secret any more, but I'm so excited!

  • WTF?! Twilight showings are already selling out!!?! The movie doesn't come out for two weeks! This is worse than the Dark Knight! Come on people!

  • Sorry, no more Twilight...I just can't help it :)

  • I look like an OSU student today. Totally rockin the gray and scarlett. Even wearing some beads that from a distance could be buckeyes, haha.

  • Four days ago we had rain, lots of rain. Today we have sun and lots of sun, not even a cloud. Oh California you crack me up.

  • OMG! James Van Der Beek is going to be on his own TV show?!! Granted I most likely won't watch because I watch enough TV as it is and clearly it's Pacey Whitter that holds my heart, but still, that's exciting! Woo Dawson!

  • Mmmmm I smell bread.

  • Fingers crossed for good news today, good news people, good news.

  • Is it really Friday? Yes!

  • I definitely just spilled water down my shirt...I need a bib.

And lastly I present you with today's letter from the Universe that I just absolutely love and have to share:

Of course not everyone understands you, Katelin.
It takes crazy to know crazy.
It takes sexy to know sexy.
And most assuredly, it takes cool to know cool.
Yeah, un-hun, alright -
The Universe

Love it.

And what Friday thoughts are you all thinkin today?

woo!

happy weekend!

Answers from Matt. (Part III)

First of all, thank you so much to everyone for the kind comments to yesterday's post. As you know I rarely get serious here but it all just meant so much for me to not share it, so thank you, really thank you.

Now moving on to more silly things, well not silly but rather more answers to the bagillions of questions you all asked Matt and he's still answering, haha. And here we go:

Hillary asked: What is Katelin's quirkiest habit that you've only discovered since moving in with her?
A: So believe it or not there isn't much I didn't know about her, even the quirkiest little habits. For example, she sneezes nonstop, it's kind of ridiculous, but still incredibly entertaining. Or, she's the strangest when it comes to sleeping. Like she gets really tired all the time right, but every now and then she gets a ridiculous burst of energy, and it's usually in the rare times that I'm actually tired haha. As for new quirky habits, not really a whole lot. Things to know about her though, at least through my eyes:
1. Ridiculously scared of any type of bug or insect(which means not only am I a mechanic and an all around Mr. Fixit, but also a exterminator.
2. Watches an amazing amount of television, it's really incredible.
3. Has a desire cook, and she's getting there, at the expense of a burned pot or pan here or there haha.
Oh, one thing I have noticed, she reads, like a lot. We've lived together now for about 2 months, and I think she's read like 3 books already. I'm still in the middle of 2 books, going very very slowly haha.
(actually it's probably more like 6 now, haha)

rs27 asked: How many times have you gotten yelled at for leaving your toilet seat up?
A: Actually none, and I'm not quite sure if that's because i've been good at it or because she's just been really patient with me haha, I'm sure we'll find out soon enough though haha.

chris asked: Describe Katelin in 3 words.
A: WOW, this is a hard one. Here it goes: Beautiful, Crazy, Loving.

sarah marie p asked: What is the best thing about living with Katelin?
A: Knowing that we're continuing our lives together, being able to say that yes, I live with my girlfriend and yes I love it.

and The worst?
A: Watching A LOT of girly TV. I mean really, is a man supposed to watch Grey's Anatomy, Top Model, The Hills, Stylista, and Desperate Housewives, I don't think so...... haha

and What do you think is Katelin's most beautiful feature?
A: Her laugh, her smile*
*=by that I mean her boobs and butt of course :)

dana asked: Does Katelin do anything that really annoys you?
A: On a constant basis, no not really. But she is much cleaner than I am so she is very organized with everything so she is constantly telling/reminding me to put stuff away, clean stuff, do stuff to keep the place in order, but that only annoys me when I was planning on doing whatever she tells me to do in a bit anyways.

and What is your favorite thing about Katelin?
A: hmmmmm, good question, as are they all. Um, well i'm not quite sure what to say here haha. I guess the fact that she can put up with me haha. She lets me tickle her, which is always fun, and she puts up with my nasty/quirky habits.

and What is your favorite thing to eat?

And now you're all that much closer to knowing Matt....and me...haha.

hope you all have a most fantabulous day!

happy thursday!

Mixed emotions.

Now I know I'm not really one to dwell on my feelings or emotions or really talk about anything serious here, but there is no way I can't talk about last night and this morning.

When the tallies started coming in I was still at work and constantly refreshing the CNN page to get updates and stats on the states as they were coming in. Once 6:30 rolled around I was on my way , but not heading home to follow the results, rather to go walking with my mom. In the "freezing" weather and muddyish track we went walking. I got to have a nice chat with my mom, get in some more marathon training and all around relax. When we were done I drove my mom home then headed home myself just in time to hear that Barack Obama had been officially deemed our next president. I was exhausted from walking but elated for the win.

My neighbor came over to celebrate and even Matt (who's libertarian) was happy about the win. We couldn't help but be excited and watch all the people in Grant Park and Spellman and Centruy City and everywhere else in America celebrating and screaming and hugging and crying, it was amazing. And once Barack came out with his family I couldn't do anything but smile. When he started his speech all I could think of was "wow I may actually listen to our president now, this man knows how to captivate an audience." We all listened, we all let out the occasional wow and we were all proud. But at the same time I know we were all thinking how open Grant Park is, wondering if he was wearing a bullet proof vest, hoping that the worst would never come.

And luckily it didn't. All we saw was a man about to make a change to this country and we couldn't be prouder.

However, when I was watching the news this morning and they showed clips of his speech again I started to cry. I didn't cry at all last night and I had no idea what was causing the tears this morning. Was I just that happy for this man to take charge of our broken country? Or was I just that sad that our country could elect this man to run our country but not support the unity of any two people in marriage?

To me the ban on gay marriage is exactly the same as the ban that was put on interracial marriage decades ago. A black man and white woman were prohibited to get married no matter what. And why was that you ask? We don't chose our race, we don't chose our skin color, but we do choose the people we love and why should anyone else deny you of that right? Why?

Clearly our country is en route to some big changes and I hope they somehow continue to be for the better, somehow...

happy wednesday!

I voted for Edward and Keanu.

Happy voting day everyone! I know I'm not really one to talk about politics here but really if you don't vote today, you're lame. I don't care who or what you vote for, as long as you vote. I waited 40 minutes in line to make my vote count and I'd like to think it did, holla.

Anyhoodles, moving on from the voting palooza that's happening everywhere today, I bring the latest and the greatest taking over Hollywood:

  • Today's cutest celeb bebe pic comes from my favorite family of Hollywood yet again, the Garner-Afflecks. I mean really, how could I not post this adorable Halloween costumed duo:

    so freakin adorable!

  • You know who else is adorable? Well maybe not adorable, but oh so handsome?:

Oh yes. How can you deny the suaveness of Leo??!? He was out and about promoting Body of Lies some more before the rush of Revolutionary Road with his best counterpart, Kate Winslet, comes about (ah I can't wait!) and looking oh so daper, even if his pants are weird, haha.

  • Speaking of Kate, she's on the newest cover for Vanity Fair and good gracious she is smokin':

Not only is she rockin the cover, but some of the interview snippets about her life and Leo just make me so dang happy. My favorite quote being: " Leo and I, you know, are sort of kindred spirits—we’re cut from the same cloth." Aw. My second favorite pair, love them.

  • Speaking of my favorites of the screen, remember last week when I said some dbag stalkeratzi took Keanu to court? Yeah well luckily those charges were dropped because the guy suing Keanu is an idiot. The guy claimed Keanu hurt his hand and all this jazz, but then there was video of him scaling a fence to chase after Britney Spears, haha, idiot. But yay Keanu! Now be careful of those crazy paps!

  • In other faves news, I can't believe that only three weeks ago I was saying how intrigued I was by the Twilight movie and I hadn't read the books. Well you can change intrigued to obsessed. I read the first book in a week and absolutely loved it, I've watched the preview more times than I count and I find myself getting as excited as I was for the Dark Knight, it's crazy! And I'm about to start New Moon at lunch today and I can barely contain myself, ah!

And Edward Cullen....errrr Robert Pattinson, oh my le swoon oh le swoon:

Thank you Twilight page on Facebook for all your fabulous pictures and updates and news and ah, love. So yes I'll admit it I have an addictive personality if you haven't noticed. Seriously it's ridiculous, I just latch on to things and get so completely enamored and engrossed in it I can't help it. But it's not a bad thing right? Right? Haha.

  • And in non obsessive TV news....
The Hills. Apparently Lauren got the memo that flapper was the way to go for Halloween this year too:

Not too shabby Lauren, not too shabby.
And as for last night's ridiculous episode in a nutshell. Audrina is dumb. Her sister is awesome. Heidi is a hilarious drunk. Spencer is still an idiot. Justin Bobby looks stoned 24/7. And you know Lo had a party when Audrina moved out, haha. For a better update I recommend checking out Trent later today, his recaps always crack me up.

Top Model. I finally watched last week's episode over the weekend and man I was so sad. No more Team Sheena. She was by far my fave of the season. Now I don't know who to root for. Maybe Sam? Definitely not chicken bobber Marjorie. Perhaps Annaleigh? Ah, who knows!?!

Grey's Anatomy. This season is definitely on the ups I think and I cannot wait for Cristina and Doctor Army to get together, ah, lurve. But the biggest Grey's news actually came today announcing that Brooke Smith, aka Dr. Erica Hahn aka Callie's sort of lover was written off the show and her last episode will be this Thursday! How totally random and that stinks for Brooke. Boo on ABC!

How I Met Your Mother. I thought last night's episode was so sweet, pretty funny and overall sort of sad yet again. But man I can't wait until they write Alyson Hannigan's pregnancy into the show, squeee for bebes!

  • And today's WTF news come from a girl that is auctioning off her virginity. Yeah you read that one right. Ew ew ew. She went on Tyra's talk show along with one of the current highest bidders and it is just awkward and gross and ew.

And that my friends is what's happening in the world of Hollywood and Katelin today, holla!

happy tuesday!

Boas, Bowling and Tommy Guns. Sweeeet.

Why helllooooo there everyone. I seriously can't get over how fast this weekend flew by it was slightly crazy. Want to hear about it? Well go to the bathroom and maybe grab some popcorn, this could be a long one, but I do have pictures, so that helps right?

Friday: Got home from work and relaxed with Matt a bit before getting all dolled up for the night (well I got dolled up, Matt just got handsome). After some prep time we headed over to my parent's house so I could see some of the cute neighborhood kids and my brothers and show off our own costumes:
"hey doll how ya doin there?"

So yes we went with the flapper and the gangster, Party City to the rescue, haha. I loved rocking it all, even if I did get boa feathers all over my car and everywhere else I went. After my parent's house we headed to a party at our friend's house. Even though we knew practically no one there it was still a good time, not the drunken mess of Halloween's past, but still fun. I actually didn't really take any pictures at the party (surprised? oh I know, I am too) but one was already put up of all the ladies there that I sort of loved:

So yeah party, party and Halloween was a success. And I think my favorite costume(s) of the night were the twin girls down the street from me that are 2 and were dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2, it was simply precious!

Saturday: Got to sleep in a bit which was awesome. After I organized the massive laundry pile Matt and I had I headed out to run some errands which was just as awesome. Got to meet some friends and my sister for a bit and then headed to DSW because seriously I needed some new shoes. According to my blog the last time I got new shoes was last November, November people! Almost a full year without any new footwear! Blasphemy! Nonetheless I found two pairs of fabulous shoes that I sort of really love:

When I saw the zebra print ones I was seriously in LOVE. I said to myself, "if they have my size, I have to get them" and alas a size 10 was there waiting for me, a sign of fate. As for the tan shoes, I sort of like them, sort of love them and sort of not sure. What do you think about them? I'm sort of on the fence, but I still like them, haha. After the shoe success I headed out in search of some new jeans and Hark! I found some new American Rag Co. jeans that fit just perfectly, seriously I'm in love.

Post shopping awesomeness I came home to catch up on some TV and relax with Matt for a bit. Afterwards we headed to Marina Del Rey for our friend Gianni's 25th birthday bonanza at this delicious Italian restaurant. Seriously the food was amazing and it was tons of fun hanging out and getting to know some of Gianni's friends.

he was pretty excited about his birthday cake

After dinner a couple of us went bowling at a place nearby and it was AMAZING. I love bowling. I may not have talked about it before, but seriously I love me some bowling. It's always a fun time and always a good time and really, I just love it.

check out those sweet bowler names,
I was Trish, my preppy alter ego, haha

the best game of my ENTIRE life!
166! four strikes in a row! ah!

me celebrating with my score, wahoo!

After my kick assness at bowling we played in the arcade for a while (seriously who doesn't love DDR and basketball) before finally calling it a night. Seriously, such a great night, loooove it.

Sunday: After some more sleeping in and relaxing in bed I pulled out Twilight and finished it. And ohmygoodness. You can just add me to that group of crazies that looove it all and want to meet their own Edward, le swoon. Seriously I loved the book and cannot wait to see the movie, now I just need someone to see it with me, haha.

After I finished Twilight I headed to the movies with my mom to see The Secret Life of Bees. I thought it did a pretty good job of following the book and I was definitely a fan. A very mother/daughter movie outing too.

Post movie was another 9 mile walk in prep for the half marathon (that is only 11 days away!). And man was I exhausted afterwards, 9 miles is a lot to walk, and to think I'll be doing 4 more than that, haha.

And that my friends was the weekend, whew.

And how was your Halloween? Any crazy stories? Any weekend awesomeness?

happy monday!
