Hollywood schnaziness.

Oh it's Tuesday alright and I've got plenty of Hollywood scoop for ya, so here we go:
  • Today's cute bebes come from the Affleck girls. Ah! Little Seraphina went with mom and dad to get Violet from school last week and seriously she's a precious little baby blob and Violet is just the epitome or adorable per usual:

    precious

    so smiley

  • And today's second cute bebe comes from little Matilda Ledger, seriously she is adorable. And Michelle is a pretty stellar mom and Heath was a cute dad and ah! Heart her.

    so silly, so cute
  • And while we're speaking of Michelle, let's go to my favorite Dawson's Creek alum, Josh of course! Josh has been everywhere lately and I am not complaining at all.
For starters he's featured in the NY Times article for Big Screen stars that are on TV. Heart:

Josh has also been in Toronto promoting his new movie One Week.

And while talking about his movie he talked about Diane and their relationship and seriously it's just so dang cute. Pop Sugar has the whole thing here and seriously I heart him even more.

Also in the Josh realm, Reeder's Corner posted the actual trailer and a snippet review of One Week. Apparently she got to see it already and now I just need it to come to the US because obviously I'll see anything Josh is in.

  • In other favorites news did you know yesterday was Barbie's birthday?? Yeah Barbie is a favorite. I was a Barbie addict when I was younger. I still have all of mine I just can't part with them and I seirously hope one day I have a daughter who loves Barbies as much as I did. But yeah, so Barbie is 50. She looks dang good for 50, haha. So happy belated Barbara Millicent Roberts (yeah who knew Barbie had a full name?!)!

  • And in Twilight news, apparently the cast has landed in Vancover and are getting ready for the filming of New Moon. It's also been confirmed that Dakota Fanning has joined the cast as Jane. I sort of really like her for the part. Man I'm so excited.

  • Apparently I've developed a bit of a crush on Eva Longoria's closet because seriously I sort of want this dress. I don't know how it would look on my figure but it's so classy and cute:

  • Oh and for some random celeb news. Let's go.
    Vince Vaughn is engaged.
Kanye's girlfriend's tights are sort of blinding.
Britney had a serious outfit and mic malfunction at her concert in Tampa.
Mariska Hargitay is not doing so hot and will be missing SVU for a bit.
Iron Chef's Cat Cora and her wife are both pregnant and already have a 5 year old and 22 month old. Are they trying to compete with the Octo-Mom? Haha.

  • And in TV news...
How I Met Your Mother. "All that stuff BS...Before Stinson)", haha. Seriously this show always cracks me up. Granted I may have been laughing more than normal since I was still laughing at the fact that I smacked my hand into the door knob playing Wii bowling before the show was on. Besides that, classic episode. No pants, I was laughing, haha.

Medium. Anyone else watching this show besides me and Jen? It's. So. Good. I love the dynamic of the family and the storylines are crazy. Last week Blythe Danner who is oh so sweet killed her daughter out of despersation and my goodness it was goooood. As creepy as that sounds, it was so goood.

John and Kate Plus 8. Best line of the show ever perhaps..."The dogs don't like being interviewed." Haha, I about died when Joel (or Aaden?) said that.

The Hills. Are coming back soon!! And apparently it's Lauren's last season. And they want the show to go on without her? Yeaaaaaaah MTV that won't work. Just so you know.

Top Model. May I be so bold to say that this season will be amazing? Perhaps. But oh my gosh we have some amazing characters. And I'm pretty sure there was a record amount of criers this first episode it was hilarious. And there are so many freakin sob stories too, it's insane. However I think my faves right now are Fo and Celia and anyone but crazy eyes. But ohmygod I can't even do the recap justice, I have found my new favorite recap blog, check it out.

the goddess of crazy is more like it, haha

  • And in this week's WTF news we have an interesting story. Apparently a man at a gas station really wanted some ice cream so he shoved it down his pants along with some Ramen and some cookies. Once he realized he was caught he offered the gas station attendant $69 to not turn him in. Haha. That's just so freakin random. If you had $69 why not have bought everything beforehand for a total of like $5? Crazy people.

And that my friends is what's happenin in Hollywood. Anything I missed? Let me know.

happy tuesday!

Oh what a friend filled weekend.

Seriously I love weekends. I mean how could I not? But this weekend was pretty enjoyable and all around a good time.

Friday: Oh man Friday took forever to get through. Seriously it just dragged on and on and on. I was so glad to head home I didn't even mind the traffic. After I got home Matt and I hung out for a bit before heading to one of our favorite bars for dinner, Barney's Beanery. Seriously, the place is great if you ever come visit me chances are we'll go here at some point, haha. Anyhoo after dinner our friend Miles who was in town came by and we all chatted and drank and it was awesome. After a while a couple more friends trickled in basically we just had a good time catching up and hanging out.

oh silly boys

All in all it was a great way to spend a Friday night.

Saturday: Started the day sleeping in which is always two points in my book. After working out on the Wii Fit a bit I ran some errands (hit up Michael's to indulge my creative side a bit) and eventually came home to some TV movie watching. After all tht schnazzy stuff Matt and I headed over to Hollywood to hang out with some friends. My friend David was in town and staying with my friend AJ so we headed over to Kate Mantinlini for dinner. If you ever go there I highly recommend the gorgonzola pasta because it was divine, divine I tell you! After dinner we headed over to the Pig'n Whistle to see David's friend's band, Shytown, play. They were actually really good. It was definitely an intimate setting so we go to see and hear them all up close and personal, haha. After the show we went to yet another animal named bar, haha, The Fox and Hounds for a drink and to hang out.

group shot at the bar

All in al another quality evening.

Sunday: Hark! Daylight savings! I don't even care that I lost an hour of sleep because I slept in anyways, but I was so excited for it to get light out, haha. After I eventually rolled out of bed I attempted an art project. I've wanted to add some more art or color to the wall above our couch and I thought I'd attempt it. So this is what my day basically looked like:

two points to anyone who can guess what movie I was watching?

Basically I still don't know how I feel about my finished works and I'm still no done but we'll see how it goes. I'll keep ya posted. After the art sessions I headed on over to the Rose Bowl for a nine mile walk (the half marathon is in two weeks! ah!) and came home to a relaxing evening of Harry Potter, Chinese food, Iron Man, and Matt. Basically it was perfect, haha.

and how was your weekend?

happy monday!

Fridays are so much better since I'm not in school.

Pobby and Dingan.

Pobby and Dingan.

I don't know why but this short story/book/tale/novella/narrative is still sitting with me. Yeah I did just finish reading it two days ago so of course it's sitting with me, but I just can't put my finger on what it is exactly I feel about it.

Oh so wait you have no idea what I'm talking about? Let me back up.

My aunt lent me two books, Pobby and Dingan and Eat, Pray, Love a couple weeks ago and I just got to them on Monday. Pobby and Dingan is only a hundred pages(ish) so I decided to read it first and finished it in two lunch breaks.

The story is narrated by Ashmol, a boy from Australia who talks about his younger sister Kellyanne and her imaginary/invisible friends Pobby and Dingan. One day their dad takes Kellyanne's friends to work with him at the opal mines and forgets to bring them home. The rest of the story revolves around Kellyanne's breakdown as her only friends are gone and the way two imaginary people, Pobby and Dingan, bring together an entire town.

I don't think I ever had imaginary friends growing up, besides every now and then envisioning I had a twin, but Kellyanne's innoncence was refreshing. And the way everyone comes together to not only help her but because they want something to believe in is endearing as well. But at the same time, the story is incredibly sad. I won't give away everything that happens but at the end I was sort of left with my mouth open saying "ummmmm that was not supposed to happen." But then again, I didn't write it and maybe it was supposed to end that way. Maybe life isn't supposed to have imaginary friends...but then again, maybe it is.

In any case I don't really know what I meant to get across by posting this rambling mess, just check the book out for yourself. It's short and sweet and definitely leaves you thinking when you're done.

Any books you can't stop thinking about lately?

It's oh so Hollywood here.

It's Tuesday? Already? Hollywood post? Okay then.
  • Seriously, there are so many freakin cute bebes in Hollywood it's ridiculous. Ridiculous but oh does my heart just love melting....and with that, this week's cute bebe is little Valentina. With a mom like Salma Hayek how could she not be adorable?

    seriously adorable.

  • Okay and because I can never pick just one cute bebe of the week, little Nahla has come out to play with her mom, Halle Berry, and seriously she is just so cute.

    precious!

  • Okay movin on from the bebes, I'm not always a fan of Eva Longoria but seriously I love this dress. It's adorable. Don't know if I'm feeling her shoes or her hair in this pic, but man I want this dress:

    I want it!

  • In mmmmmcanhepleasewalkbymyofficeagain news... Ryan Gosling looks so good when he's not wearing holey t-shirts. Just kidding he always looks good. But man he looks especially good in this pic:

    mmmmhottie.

  • Moving on from the hottness let's go to the hilariousness...Seriously all of these guys crack me up and this picture is amazing:

It's even better than they were mimicking an old photo with Keira Knightley, ScarJo and Tom Ford. But man I love those guys, especially Jason Segel, he's just so dang cute. Oh and there's more, check them out and ensue laughter.

  • In music news...
Apparently Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together. It's just so sad. I don't really know what else to say besides that, but if any guy ever hit me I would not get back with him, ever.

Also happenin in the music world, Miss Britney is definitely en route to making her grand comeback. Her Circus tour is kickin off today and she is the new face of Candies. Seriously it's amazing to see her doing so well and it makes me so happy. And this video of her rehearsals almost makes me wish I was seeing her show, almost.

  • In movie news....
So remember at the Oscar's when Javier Bardem and Daniel Day Lewis didn't show? Yeah well apparently Javier had a good excuse to not present to this year's supporting actor winner and support his girlfriend Penelope Cruz, he has a herniated disk and was ordered to stay in bed by a doctor. Shucks. Feel better Javier!

Twilight news. Oh Twilight news. It's coming to DVD in 18 days at midnight on a Friday night. I'm almost convinced that I should join the crazy fangirls and go and get it. I just don't want to go to the store on Saturday and have them be all sold out. But ummmmyeah I'm sort of excited :)

I saw this on my friend's Tumblr and I just had to share it, man I couldn't agree more about the XMen movies, X2 is definitely my favorite:

  • In TV news...
    How I Met Your Mother.
"Child stars were better in the 80s." haha yes. Seriously this show cracks me up. I love Lily's call at the end, haha. Amazing! And Barney's scripted family, haha, classic.

Heroes. I finally watched the first new episode and all I can say is "what the hell????" I hate all this bad guy/good guy switching, it's too damn confusing. And all the dead/undead people, it's confusing.

Top Model. Comes back tomorrow! Oooooh yeaaaaaah! Bring on the crazy Tyra sayings and stories of her life. Man I love this show and cannot wait for it to air tomorrow.

  • And in today's WTF news we have three rather ridiculous and disturbing headlines...I'll let you read them if you wish.
Woman tries to trade two kids and $175 for a $1500 cockatoo. She makes the Octo mom look good.
Deputies say man stuffed cat inside bong. Umm cut back on the weed kid?
Pink dolphin appears in US Lake. This is sort of awesome, haha.

Seriously I couldn't make these stories up if I tried, haha.

And that's what's happenin in Hollywoooood. Anything I missed? The Bachelor finale? Yeah I don't watch that but I hear it happened, haha.

happy tuesday!

I'm a gamer at heart...at least on the weekends.

Oh what a most fabulous weekend. Seriously I thank the gods of health that I was not sick any more (or as sick as I was last weekend at least) to enjoy this weekend. Okay enough chit chatting, update/recap time, woo!

Friday: Friday oh Friday. Friday I got to host my own Nintendo Girls Guide to Gaming Party. It was awesome. Brand About Town contacted me a while ago and asked if I would want to host a DS party for some of my girl friends and ummm how could I say no to that one? So Friday night was the party at a photo studio in LA, and it was great. Although I wished more people had showed up I had a great time with the girls that did make it. Okay picture time! :)

me with my party sign :)

Court, Kourt and Tara racing each other, haha

Kerri, Nanette and me enjoying some DS playing

Leticia! (I've known this girl since 1st grade) and her friend
and me, posing in between playing

and back to playing, haha

Me with Court and Nicole posing with their new DS's definitely a good surprise to end the night, everyone that came got a DS

the girls playing away

the girls in front of the "I heart Katelin" sign seriously it was so cute

the seriously adorable charm bracelets we got for playing each game, so fun

Seriously it was the coolest opportunity to have this company come in and cater (unlimited food and drinks) in the cutest little place to me and some of my friends so we could play DS's and Wii's all night. It was great. I saw friends that I hadn't seen in a while and bloggers who I adore, it was great. And I'm sort of in love with the charm bracelet too, it's so so cute. Anyhoo that was my night in a nutshell and it was awesome. Thank you Brand About Town and Thank you Nintendo! Seriously, you rock.

Saturday: Yeah the rest of my weekend didn't really have the same awesomeness as Friday but it was still fun. I slept in as long as I coul and basically spent my day between the grocery store and Target. The highlight of my day came when I walked in the door from the grocery store and dropped a bottle of wine right at the entry way.Yeah that was superb....ugh. After all those shenanigans Matt got home from work and we went to dinner with my sister and her friend at El Cholo and man was it tasty, crabmeat enchiladas and margaritas? Yeah that was delicious. The night got even better after dinner when my aunt and uncle texted and wanted to meet Matt and I by the sketchy bar near us, we said sure and it was awesome. We hung out, people watched, had some drinks and all around a great time.

Sunday: Slept in a bit and watched Lord of the Rings on TV with Matt before I went walking with my mom and aunts and uncle. The marathon is in three weeks! Ah! Crazy pants! So yeah we did nine miles and good gracious I was exhausted afterwards. After the walk I got home relaxed a bit then Matt and I had dinner with his dad where we watched more Lord of the Rings and just hung out. And by the time we got home all I felt like doing was writing this post and heading to bed, haha.

So that my friends was my weekend in short(ish). All in all a good time and a great way to start a new month, haha.

And how was your weekend? Anything exciting? Can you believe it's already March!?!

happy monday!

This weekend I'm going to _____ with _____ and it will be _____.

And just because I like posts with pictures:

happy weekend all!

Some important things.

Okay they're not thaaaaat important but I feel like sharing/getting input/rambling so here goes:
  • Josh Kelley is going on tour with Ryan Cabrera in April!!! I pretty much squealed with delight when Josh announced this fun fact on his Myspace blog. Not even kidding. I love Josh and I love me some Ryan too. So basically it'll be the best concert ever. Okay not ever, to be the best ever Keanu Reeve's awful band Dogstar, O.A.R and Craig David would have to join the set and then I'd just die of happiness overload.
So yeah who's going with me???

  • I think it's time for another LA Blogger meetup. Right? Yeah I thought so. Maybe end of March? Spread it out a bit. Well if you're a girl LA blogger send me an email if you want to go to a super cool event manana and I'll let you know.

But back to the point, LA Bloggers UNITE! Maybe a weekend? A St. Patty's Day fest? Somewhere awesome? Think about it. Get back to me.

  • In 24 days I will be walking in a half marathon. Finally. But ohmygosh I am getting nervous. Due to travel and most recently sickness I have been slacking on my training and my Wii Fitnessing and ah! I need to get healthy so I can rock this marathon. If you want to come out and cheer me on it's March 22nd in Pasadena, woo!

  • And in less than two months (April 25th to be exact!) is my birthday, my 25th birthday!!! I know I already freaked out about it before, but really, what the heck can I do to celebrate?!?! And I need a new outfit?! And margaritas? And yeah. I don't know. Maybe it's the Nyquil talking, it's my birthday and it will be awesome.

Okay that's all the importantness I have for one day. Anything important going on in your world?

happy thursday!

Hollywoodtastical.

As if yesterday's Oscar post wasn't enough Hollywood for ya I bring you the real Hollywood post of the week! Woo! Now note though, I'm a little behind on my Hollywood scoop since I was out of the internet gossip world a couple days last week so feel free to let me know what I missed when the post is done. Annnnd are you ready? Got your Oscar all wrapped up Kate? Okay good. And go!
  • This week's cute bebeness comes from two of the six Jolie-Pitt kids. I may not be the biggest fans of their parents but ohmygoodnessgracious their cuteness is infectious, I just heart them.
ohemgee Shiloh is so dang precious!

oh Queen Z you tell em what's up.

  • Also in cute bebeness it looks like the always adorable Harlow Madden is about to be a big sis! Man that was quick, haha. But really who knew Joel and Nicole would make such a cute kid? Seriously, adorable.

  • Unrelated to bebes and their cuteness, apparently guys listen up there's a new single lady in town. Megan Fox. Not that I really care but I know plenty of guys that would love to meet/date/do unmentionable things to her so I thought I'd let you know she's single now. See, I care about my male readers? :)

  • You know what else guy readers, I love Frieda Pinto and you should too. I think I have a girl crush. Oh and I want her wardrobe....love. this. dress.

just ignore the lady in the back, haha

  • Okay enough stuff for the guys back to the girly stuff....like Twilight. Apparently Summit has already set a release date for Eclipse (6.10.2010). Ummm in a hurry much? I mean what the eff? Why are they rushing such a great franchise. I really hope it doesn't bomb, I mean really. At least it means more Rob but still, come on now. Speaking of Rob....

    mmmmmhi there ;)

Oh and apparently he was canoodling with Natalie Portman at the Oscar parties. Well I guess that's better than Paris Hilton but still, le swoon Rob, le swoon.

  • And because Fringe isn't back until April and I need my Joshua Jackson fix because I just heart him and I heart his gf Diane Kruger:

Seriously, they are so stylin and cute and New York (whatever that means) I love it. Heart them.

  • You know who else is stylin'? The First Lady. And apparently (thanks Janet!) there's a whole blog to following her fashion choices. Seriously I am impressed. And I'm not going to lie, I may be checkin this blog out from time to time. :)

  • And in TV news....
The City. Yeah I think I'm over it. I love ya Whit, but I'm over your show. Please tell me you'll make some cameos on the Hills and we'll still be friends okay? Thanks.

Oh and the Hills. The Hills people! How do these stupid freakin teasers still get me excited for the show?!?! Why do I watch? But how can I not?!? It's such a dilemma!!! But seriously, did you see the trailer for the new season? Woa.
How I Met Your Mother. When the heck are we getting another new episode people??? I mean really. I need my HIMYM and my NPH! And Matt and I finished seasons one and two so now I don't know what to do. I guess I should just buy season three, haha.

Heroes. Anyone watching it this time around? I have yet to watch the new chapter and it just seems daunting. But I love the show so I want to watch it I just haven't had the motivation. Oy.

Medium. Does anyone besides me, Jen and my mom watch this show? I sort of love it. I love the sci-fi aspect and I love the family dynamic because they are in no way perfect. I definitely recommend checkin it out.

John and Kate Plus 8. Oh man. I seriously used to love this show but it's getting harder and harder to watch without saying "whattttt???" every two seconds. The Gosselins not only moved into a ridiculously huge house but they just got two puppies as well. Are these people crazy?? Ugh but those kids are still so adorable. I swear it's because of this site that I can't watch the show the same, haha. But yet it's still on my DVR list.

Grey's Anatomy. Like woa. What a way to end that crossover. Some fights, some kissing, some awkwardness, perfect, haha. I am a fan, but seriously Derek when are you going to propose?!?!

Top Model. So remember last week when I said it was starting tonight? Yeah I was wrong. Dangit. It starts NEXT Wednesday. So mark your calendars peeps. Team Ty Ty! :)

  • And in movie news....
Remember how at the end of the Oscar's they played some previews for movie's coming this year and I said I was so excited and I definitely clapped when I saw the trailer for Public Enemies? Yeah well BuzzSugar reposted it, so check it out if movie previews make you excited.

Oh and speaking of new movies, Judd Apatow's latest Happy People, has its first trailer and I am slightly intrigued.

  • And lastly today's WTF news comes to us from across the ocean again. A prisoner in an Athens jail made a helicopter escape yesterday. Yeah, a helicopter escape. I swear that guy has watched too many movies. But the funniest part is that that wasn't his first escape, it was his second, and he did it the exact same way!! I have to give him props but at the same time say what the eff people? haha.

And that my friends is all the Hollywood news I have today. Anything I missed? Let me know. And I swear I will be making my rounds back to your blogs shortly, I swear being out of town and then getting sick definitely doesn't help anything.

happy wednesday!

Ohmygosh Tina Fey and Steve Martin, best intro ever. Hilarious.

Helloooooooooooooooooo Rob Pattinson. How are you doing with those smoldering eyes? Yummm. Oh and hey Amanda Seyfried, you look nice too. But seriously, mmmmmRob.

Joaquin Phoenix at the Oscar's? Haha, Ben Stiller yes! Amazing, seriously amazing.

Okay people musicals have been making a comeback for a while, but I always love a good song and dance number.

Aw yay Heath. Yes the tears are streaming. An award he definitely deserved.

Is anyone there not streaming tears? Yeah I don't think so. Even the golden couple are tearing up.

Okay I can't listen to his family talk any more it's making me sob and I'm already on sick meds.

Oooh la la Alicia Keys I want your dress. Va va voom! And that color!? Divine woman, divine.

Only three songs nominated this year and we get a medley? WTF Academy?

Aw Anne Hathaway you are so cute, getting teary whenever the camera is on you or someone mentions your name. Man I want to be your friend.

Okay scratch that, every nominee that gets a mention gets teary, it's sort of endearing.

Ooooh Robyn Wright Penn you look dashing and such a proud wife....er not wife...er I have no idea what you guys are any more.

Annnd Slumdog Millionaire for the win!

Oh my gosh those kids are adorable it's making my uterus hurt! Seriously I have no idea what they just said in their speech, but yay!

Ooooooh and previews for this year! Ohgoodgracious I just got so excited. What a great way to end the Oscar's, previews for the year. And of course I'll keep going to the movies Hugh, will you go with me?

And that my friend's is my Oscar recap. Yeah I know I missed a bunch but this post could go on for days, haha. Anyhoo, did you watch the show? What was your favorite part? Favorite winner?

happy tuesday!

Cheeseburgers make the weekend go round.

Why hello there freaders. I apologize now if this post is rambling and incoherent because I am currently hopped up on Dayquil, Advil and slept pretty much all day long yesterday. Anyhoo moving on....

Thursday: Woke up early and hopped a flight to Houston. Woo! I was lucky enough to have a middle seat in between a very large man and a very tall guy. Yeah it was awesome (ummmmno). The only good thing that came out of that was that I got to finish reading Confessions of a Shopaholic (which was pretty cute). Once I got to Houston I relaxed in my hotel a bit before heading to a mixer for the Mom 2.0 Summit. I was slightly nervous that I wouldn't know anyone, granted I was there for work, but everyone was so sociable and nice, it was great.

Friday: All day conferencing and hanging out and it was not only informative but good times too. One of the best surprises was that Allison from Confessions of a Cohabitant ended up being there for work also so we got to hang out all weekend which was a nice surprise. After the conference ended for the day there was a big Mardi Gras carnivale party which was a pretty good time.

the four non-married, non-mom PR girls :)

The best part of the night though had to be once most people had left and the Cheeseburger party commenced. Several mom bloggers started a tradition of the Cheeseburger party at BlogHer '07 and have basically kept it going, I went to the one at BlogHer last year and it was so much fun, this one was no exception.

Me, Allison and Brittney rockin the bag hat look

Who doesn't love a good cheeseburger?

I had to get a picture with one of the party planners,
Yvonne from Joy Unexpected, heart her and her blog

oh so many cheeseburgers!

Seriously it was so much fun! Afterwards me and Brittney headed back to Allison's mini apartment, haha. I swear, we felt like celebs! All in all it was a great night.

Saturday: Finished up the conference and flew back to LA with much better sleeping success. However I did start to feel sick which wasn't too hot. Matt and my sister picked me up from the airport and we went straight to Matt's brother's birthday party at his new apartment. I drank wine to try and help the sickness from coming on and it worked for a bit, haha. All in all the party was a good time, the new apartment was great and the people were awesome. Woo.

Sunday: Yeah I woke up feeling like absolute crap. Feverish, achey, sore throat, yeah all of the above. I spent the majority of my day in bed and drinking water, it was awful. Luckily I finally rallied enough to watch the Academy Awards (oh yes that recap is coming tomorrow) granted I still felt like crap, uck. Eventually I just called it a night and hoped I would be good enough to make it to work today, so eh. Apparently I'm just not cut out for busy traveling weekends all the time, haha.

And how was your weekend? Watch the Oscar's? Avoid sickness I hope?

happy monday!

15 things that might rock your socks off

Well hello there!
As you dedicated readers know Katelin is off in Houston doing fun things and because I am THE fantastic little sister, I'm taking over her blog for the day :)
I know, that nearly made you explode with excitement, just try to keep it together until the end.

So, for those of you familiar with the Facebook world, there has been a "25 things" note going around. Once you're tagged, its near unavoidable and alas, you post 25 random things about yourself for all to read. That being said, I've decided to post 15 (becuase 25 is a TON) random things that relate to my sister somehow. It is a definite possibility that I will make your day 15 different times by the end, so get ready.

And we begin...

1. When we were little, we had a variety of pets. When it comes to the turtles we tell two completely different stories. She says we had 2 whereas i am convinced we had 4 that were named after the ninja turtles... To this day I think she's wrong, but I mean... she remembers random things wayyyyyy better than i do.

2. Katelin is the ONLY person I know that doesn't like strawberries.

3. We both have a mild obsession with long tanktops from Old Navy. I'm pretty sure she's stolen some of mine. You suck for that, but I love you cause now I'll buy more :)

4. In our old house, two neighbors of ours across the street had birthdays that were on the 25th day of the month, so we called ourselves "The 25th friends." (January, February, April and November... holler.)

5. I love that she incorporates the word "hark" into conversation almost every time we talk.

6. One day I will get her to get a tattoo with me (I have 4 already and aim for 7 by the time I'm done). I might have to bribe her into it with some lavish gift, but knowing she cant even get her ears pierced, this might be a phenomenal experience.

7. I once thought of asking her to write one of my lit papers for me since I know she's way better at it, but then i thought her response would go something like this: "Hahaha... No." Mean? maybe... typical of an older sister? Definitely.

8. <-- My favorite number :) And my favorite random thing... We were driving home from some event at night, and like 200 yards from our house there was a cat in the middle of the street. It sort of did this dance thing where it was so confused and didn't know which way to go, and like 12 seconds later it finally bolted left. For some reason we thought this was HIlarious and we still laugh about it whenever it comes up. In fact, I'm laughing right now and I'm sure she will when she reads it. Yes, we're that cool :)

9. Packing for her to come home from Denison after graduation was riiiiiidiculous! I've never seen so much stuff fit into 12 suitcases. My flight was delayed 14 hours for some random reason, so good thing I had her pillow.

10. I came home last weekend and made shrimp risotto for the family. I gave her leftovers. She loved it. She told me so. She also just loves leftovers in general.

11. Her 13th birthday party was quite interesting... I won't tell the story now because she might come after me, but it's worth guilting her into telling you.

12. She took me to an O.A.R. concert a while ago and it was amazing. Now, I know all the words and can sing along to every song with her :)

13. When I was a freshman in high school and she was a senior, there was a day when seniors were supposed to pie their freshman siblings. I, being the natural butthead that I am refused and I think she'll hold that over me forever. So in return, I've agreed to get a pedicure with her (I haaaaaate hate hate everything about feet and mine are way ticklish so trust me when I say thats huge...).

14. She looks amazing in blue... and green... and red... and black... and like, everything. curse you older sister! But not :)

15. She and "Le Boy"/Mateo/Bananana/Matt are perfect.

Tadaaaaaaa. 30 minutes later, 15 wonderful things, i fantastic sister. Love love love it all. Hope you all enjoyed that :) You stay classy bloggers... and thanks for stopping by... but mainly, stay classy <3
