Happy weekend everyone! Granted I'm not done with work yet (only three hours left!) I have to crack down and upload videos like it's my job (because it is my job, haha). And then I will be home free for a day of shopping, hanging out and then a weekend spent at the beaches of San Diego or as Ron Burgundy would say....

Violet may have some competition...
There really are no words to describe just how freaking cute Shiloh is...however TMZ's comparison is pretty right on, she is looking Gerber babyish (precious!). So enjoy the cuteness!

It's Britney Beyotch.
Ah! Okay. I know. I said I was going to stop blogging today, but these video uploads are taking so freaking long that I have nothing to do but wait while they upload. So I figured one more entry couldn't hurt...and this is a good one. I just saw on Dlisted and Perez and PopSugar that Britney "I'm a slave to bad wardrobe and ridiculous antics" Spears has released two new songs, "Gimme More" and "Cold as Fire"! Okay well I don't know if she released them, but they were leaked to the people(through the site breatheheavy.com) and I must say, they aren't horrible. They aren't of "Toxic" or "Oops I Did It Again" quality, but they are well in way to shining a beacon of hope onto Miss Brit's troubled life/career. And the best part is that in her main single "Gimme More" she starts off saying "It's Britney Bitch", ah hahaha. I couldn't help laughing out loud at that one. Ah Brit is awesome, let's hope this is only the beginning of a career and a life back on the rise. One can only hope.
Update (8/31): There is already a remix of "Gimme More" with T.I.out, haha. Watch out now.

Beachin'.
While normal working(or in school) people (like myself) spent yesterday inside offices or classrooms, those lucky beyotches from "The Hills" got to frolic at the beach all day long, damn them! And not only were their cameramen following them, but apparently a really snap happy paparazzi, because PopSugar put up like thirty pictures (overkill?). As much as I love those girls, I must say I am jealous that they aren't working, rather partying at the beach on a random Wednesday afternoon with a couple of their closest (also non working) friends. Gah! Oh well, I can't be too jealous because I'm heading to the beach this weekend (and man is it an overdue trip!) and I can't wait, San Diego here I come!
In the meantime I will just say that even though I saw this dress on Johanna's site a couple days ago, I want to share it here:
Even though I don't think I could pull it off, I must say Lauren knows how to dress (and style, I believe it's from her new line). I am quite the fan of the color and the belt (but why the silver shoes with a gold belt??). Anyhoo, time to stop blogging my day away and get back to the grind. Holler half day tomorrow! Who's with me?

Why?
...do people make announcements that they're going to make an announcement. As much as I like Fred Thompson, I think this is just silly:
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson will officially announce his candidacy for president on the Web next Thursday, September 6, sources working on the actor's formal entry into the race told CNN Thursday.
Now Fred isn't the only person guilty of this, they did it on "The View" and the Spice Girls reunion tour dates, and plenty of other instances. I think it's just dumb and redundant. The end.

Holey Pants.
Okay so apparently we are having a serious heat wave. I say apparently because I spend a majority of my day in a freezing office looking at this so called heat wave through the giant window doors in my office. Like I have mentioned before I rarely leave my office, even on my lunch break, haha, so I can only hear the stories from friends and the boyfriend (who's out in Rancho where it's apparently 107 on a regular basis, gah!) of this insane heat. And although there is a massive heat wave throughout the country ( I just got the full update status of North Carolina from Jen, haha) I am wearing jeans today. Yes jeans, my office is so freaking cold and since I never leave I figured jeans are okay for me. Oh and not just any jeans, jeans that I found buried amongst my work out shirts and sweats in my closet. And it doesn't stop there, these were my last year favorite pair of jeans that were retired for summer and for the reason that there is a hole in crotch. Yeah you read that right, a hole in the crotch region.
However, the hole is small in comparison to past experiences of holey crotch pants thus I am wearing them at work today. Anyone who knows me know that I have an odd track record with pants, I tend to get holes in the crotch area. They are usually small ones, but the more I wear the pants the bigger the holes get and so on (I think you get the picture). I really have no idea how the heck this happens and I have had to get rid of several pairs of my 'favorite' (yes I change my favorite often, but still) jeans because of said hole problem.
Granted my holey pants have made for many a fun conversation or drunken photo session (I heart college) I just wish it didn't happen all the time. Maybe I should look into better jeans? or walk differently? or not put my feet up all the time? Who knows?!
All I know is that in this heat wave I have some air venting pants, so I guess it isn't all that bad, haha.

How could I forget....
Shameless promotion, haha. So I have this new campaign at work and it's basically running a "team" for the movie Kickin' It Old Skool through this myspace profile. So go, check it out, tell your friends, that would be oh so very awesome....
Thanks!
Thanks!

Some links to make the day go by....
So I've been too busy today to really blog about the happenings of Hollywoooood (and elsewhere) so I'm just gonna share some links to the best ones of today....
And totally unrelated, I just found this montage of the Fiesta Bowl last year and I want to share it. Because for some reason I was actually watching it and then continued to scream at my TV as the most insane and improbable plays happened, it was amazing. So enjoy. Happy Wednesday!
- A really rich bitch, seriously.
- Some people have too much time on their hands...like people that sculpt butter, make insane sand castles, or decide to make a portrait of the president using porn magazines, that works too.
- Brad and Zahara spend a day in New York, precious....but where is Shiloh hiding??
- Best Week Ever coins a new phrase the "Reverse Savage." It's basically child stars that weren't so hot before and are pretty much studs in today's standards, number one example Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey, that says it all.
- Miss Teen South Carolina is trying to redeem her lack of geographical knowledge by posting a video and a geography test to go along with it, good luck with that, haha.
- LiLo was caught doing drugs in rehab? I thought you weren't supposed to do that.
- Gwyneth Paltrow is getting her own cooking show about Spanish food. Um. Cool?
- Happy Birthday MJ! As weird as you are now, I still remember the good ole days....
- And the Dodgers are winning again!? Yay! Yippee! Wa hoo! Let's hope they can keep this up and Arizona can all of a sudden start sucking, along with San Diego and Philadelphia, super, great, awesome, thanks guys.

Looks like he's moved on....
TMZ is reporting that Jason Wahler, the oh so troubled twice-ex of Lauren Conrad, is engaged! Engaged?! Engaged to his girlfriend of six months, Katja Decker-Sadowski, a USC tennis player. Not that I was rooting for Jason and LC to rekindle their love for each other or anything, but really, who would say yes to marrying him? He has some serious issues...like four arrests? attacking a truck driver? DUI? Ummm I believe the list goes on but I can't seem to think of it right now. Anyhoo I hope that makes it on "The Hills" since I saw in the previews that Lauren and Jason are still friends...so maybe it will be on the show?? Just have to wait and see.
Update: Turns out Jason is just 20 while his now fiancee is 19 (gah!) and he proposed to her at their housewarming party in front of their friends (including Lauren). Even better, Jason is going to be on that ridiculous show "Celebrity Rap Superstar" and comes back to "The Hills" on the September 10th episode, crazay.

Dawson Leery is that you?
Say it's so, all of the Dawsonites are back in action and I love it! Woo! According to Perez, James Van Der Beek is returning to television and not just on any show...but Ugly Betty, holler. Now I must say I watched Ugly Betty here and there last season and sometimes during reruns this summer and it's pretty funny. A little ridiculous at times, but really, what show isn't a little ridiculous. Anyhoo, I'm just glad to see that the star of my beloved "Dawon's Creek" is making a small comeback. In my opinion, James is the last of the Dawsonites to reappear in entertainment....let's recap shall we...
Oh man, all of that Dawson's talk took me back. I was seriously addicted to that show. So addicted that Megan and I would call each other at commercials just to talk about what had just happened, I had an entire wall in my room dedicated to the show (mostly to Joshua Jackson), and I am pretty positive I have seen every episode (not counting the final season, don't remind me that Granville didn't have the WB). I am also the proud owner of all six seasons, so I will always have my most favorite show with me, haha. Gotta love it.
Okay well now that I have totally outed my childhood dreams/obsession I think it's time to stop and get to some real work. Happy Tuesday!
- Joshua Jackson (Pacey Whitter) aka my favorite - he' s been here and there lately, with a role in Bobby, and coming out with Battle in Seattle, Shutter and Fletch Won in the next year (holler). And besides making some movies, Josh has been making some moves lately with the lovely Diane Kruger (which I have blogged about several times, I heart them). So good for you Josh, you were always my favorite.
- Katie Holmes (Joey Potter) - like I really need to write a run down of what Katie Holmes has been up to, haha. She is by far the most 'in the media' Dawsonite. She married Tom Cruise, produced the cutest Scientologist alien baby ever, and is living the good life. Oh and she acts on occasion too.
- Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley) - ah Michelle, I was never really a fan of Jen until the last seasons of Dawson's but I like you now. She's dating Heath Ledger, has a daughter with him, Matilda, and is acting as well. She seems fairly normal and I like it, woo Michelle.
- Kerr Smith (Jack McPhee) - so I think he had a short lived show on Fox or UPN or something, but I just saw him in the oh so amazing Cruel Intentions 3, haha. That was classic acting there. Glad to see you working to your potential Kerr, haha.
- Meredith Monroe (Andie McPhee) - so she has pretty much been a ghost since she left Dawson's in season four I believe it was. But last year I did see her on "Criminal Minds" (the same show James also cameoed as a crazed bipolar killer, forgot to mention that one), I also think I saw her last night on the AMC show "Mad Men", but I'm not sure. She doesn't show up on Imdb (but they can be wrong sometimes), so who knows.
- Busy Phillips (Audrey Liddel, Joey's college roommate) - I loved Audrey. She was crazy and awesome and she dated Pacey (so I was jealous, but I still liked her). She basically disappeared for a while too, but now she has a full time role on the never ending show "E.R." I saw it a couple times last season and she does a pretty good job I must say, all those seasons of Dawson's really paid off, haha.

She's cute, but can she walk?
Okay as much as I love the Affleck-Garner family, as Jen pointed out in my last blog with Violet, that girl is never walking!! Granted these "Daddy and Me" pics are uber cute, little Violet is slowly but surely forgetting how to do anything but be cute. She's always either being held by Mom or Dad or being pushed in a stroller! Jen, Ben, I am talking to you, let her walk! I bet she looks just as cute as Suri holding on to shopping bags, probably cuter...so let's see it...let Violet roam free! That is all.

Monday thoughts.
So this morning I left my house a little early because I saw on the news that there was an accident that could have delayed me...alas it had no effect on my morning route and I am here, at work, a whole fifteen minutes early. Wowza. Now I love my job and all, but fifteen minutes is quite early here, seeing as to how most people don't show up til about fifteen minutes after our start time of 9:30. Anyhoo, I thought I would use my earliness to blog and share some of my "Monday thoughts"....
- I really don't appreciate how unpredictable traffic is, haha. I mean, I could have ten more minutes of sleep if I knew how long it'd take me to get to work every day, oh well.
- Today I feel naked. I forgot my ring. Gah. I always wear this ring from Matt, I love it and I miss it today. Boo on me for being absent minded. At least I remembered my watch, then I'd be really lost today.
- I saw Superbad on Saturday and I whole heartedly agree that it's hilarious. However, you have to have the kind of humor of an overly horny teenage boy, because that's basically what the whole movie is, haha. But it was great, I laughed out loud a lot and had a grand ole time, woo.
- Oh! So yesterday one of my friend's from high school asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding (yay!). And of course I said yes. But now I feel so grown up, I'm going to be in a wedding, and not just toting flowers down the aisle, haha. Luckily it's ten months from tomorrow, so there is plenty of time to prep for this adult-like honor, haha.

The Sims....in movie form....?
So last night after I got home from seeing Stardust (which was so good!), I turned on the computer to download this week's free songs from Itunes (love it). While I was waiting for that to go I went to the Apple Movie Trailer site (amazing) and looked at the newest trailers and saw one that caught my eye....The Nines with Ryan Reynolds. The synopsis says this:
John August, the acclaimed screenwriter of GO, BIG FISH, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and THE CORPSE BRIDE, makes his directorial debut with THE NINES, an intricately constructed intriguing blur of reality, virtual reality and metaphysical fantasy. The film unfolds in three parts, featuring the same actors in different (and in some ways overlapping) incarnations.
So ya, the description doesn't say a whole lot, and neither does the preview, haha. However one part caught my eye.....when this scene popped up on screen:
So for anyone that isn't a huge nerd like me, that is the screen for The Sims 2! So of course my interest in this movie is now peaked.... Is Ryan a Sims character? Is he in Pleasantville or Sim City? Why is he so freaked out? Haha. All important questions of course. So now I am going to ponder what the heck this movie is really about and see where it will be playing since it comes out in a week, haha. And since it has two of my favorite things, Ryan Reynolds (yum) and the Sims I may just have to see it even if it looks weird, haha.

A Few of My Favorite Things....
One. Heroes is coming back Monday September 24th, woot. And here is the uber artsy promo trailer for it...woo:
And here is a "real" trailer for it...woo again:
Dos. Suri is a shopper in training. And is so freaking cute in the process.
Trois. The Dodgers won last night! Woo! So apparently we still have a chance at getting the Wild Card in the playoffs, and there are still 37 games left in the season so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!....And in other baseball news, the Texas Rangers beat the Baltimore Orioles 30-3 last night. It's the first time there have been over 30 runs in a game since 1897, yikes. And even worse, that was the first game of a double header, oy vey.
For. I love it when sites make fun of Spencer Pratt, makes me glad that I am not the only one who wants to throw a shoe at him and tell him he has horrible taste.
Fiveeeeee. Brittney is apparently really trying for a comeback. I guess Ryan Seacrest premiered her new song today and I saw it on Perez. It's okay. It's not the typical dancey poppy stuff that made her famous in the first place. It's some love ballad about this and that and ah. Britt just snap out of it. I am rooting for you!

Linkarooni.
- Google is taking over the world! Well in this case the universe, Google Earth now has a feature where you can stargaze from your computer...pretty crazy cool stuff.
- Even though I don't follow the Anaheim Angels, I think it's pretty amazing Garret Anderson hit 10 RBI's yesterday! And even better, it was against the Yankees (muaw ha ha).
- Um, the world's oldest dad...this is mildly disturbing.
- Ryan Seacrest is all over the place, really, does he ever sleep???
- Zac Efron thinks he's Hilary Duff.
- Bill Murray got a DUI while driving.....a golf cart. Haha. Classic.
- Will Ferrell has the funniest wardrobe.
- Dick Cheney is McLovin' it. And Seth Rogen basically dissed his teachers in the wake of stardom, gotta give him props, haha.
- We already knew that Pete Doherty has some problems, but now his cats do too! His cats had cocaine in their system. What the crap Pete??? Kate Moss you stay away from this loser.
- And thank goodness my job doesn't do this! I don't know what I'd do, haha.
And that's what's going on in your neck of the woods! (Thanks Al Roker, haha)

Christian Bale is everywhere! (and I love it)
Christian Bale really is everywhere these days...and I am not complaining at all. I have loved him since his days as Jack Kelley in Newsies, so seeing him mature and age on screen has only made me happier and like him more. He has managed to stay out of scandal and in lots of good movies. His newest released film (besides Rescue Dawn) is 3:10 to Yuma. I saw this preview a while ago and I can't say that I totally understand what it's all about it, but it looks pretty good for a western flick. And what makes this movie even better is that Russel Crowe is in it as well...although I haven't been a huge fan of his since his Gladiator days, I am looking forward to him in this movie and American Gangster with Denzel coming out soon. Anyhoo, Pop Sugar is awesome and posted several pics of Christian and Russel, and a plethora of other people in the movie, so I thought I'd just share my two favorites.
And on top of the premiere photos, Buzz Sugar (a part of the Pop Sugar empire) has tons of new pictures up from The Dark Knight! It just kills me that I still have to wait a whole year for this movie to come out, but oh man, I can't wait. I even saw the "preview" for it when I went to the movies a couple weeks ago and it's such a tease (hence called the teaser trailer, but still)! The pictures look gooood, Christian looks hawt (as usual) and Heath Ledger looks so creepy. Man I was creeped out the first time around when Jack Nicholson was the Joker, Heath is starting to look just as scary, haha.
Anyhoo, only a year to go til the bat in black in back (woo hoo alliteration)... I can hardly wait!

There really is a kitchen god.
So last night several things happened. One, the sun was not blaring in my face on the drive home...meaning Fall is on the way. And don't get me wrong, I love Fall, I love October, I love leaves, and football and pretty nights, but I do not like driving home in the dark! I swear people in Los Angeles become full on morons when it's dark outside. Last year was the first time I had ever experienced driving home when it was full on dark outside (I get off of work at 6:30) and let me tell you, it was not a pretty picture. I had several near death experiences (okay I may be exaggerating, but still) on my drives home last Fall/Winter and I must say that I am not looking forward to it again. Maybe this time around will be better? I'm a more experienced driver (haha)? Oh well, Fall is almost here and not a whole lot I can do about it.
And on a much lighter note, the second thing to happen last night....the kitchen gods smiled upon me, haha. As many of you know I am pretty lazy when it comes to cooking and the kitchen. Only lately when my boyfriend has made it a group activity have I really been interested in it and even last year when I was living in an apartment on campus and cooking for myself I was still pretty lazy, haha. However last night, I wasn't lazy per say, more like creative, haha. My parents were still out of town, my sister wasn't home and my boyfriend was on his way over. So basically I had to raid our somewhat full but seemingly empty refrigerator and come up with something delicious, haha. Also a straining factor was the fact that my house was a million degrees and it was warm outside and I really didn't want to cook cook anything....decisions decisions.
So in light of all of this I somehow threw together an easy and yummy meal. I made some penne pasta with chicken, my mom's homemade salsa (lots of tomatoes, peppers, onions, yum), vinegar and oil salad dressing, feta cheese and some garlic salt. And go me, it was delish. Matt couldn't stop telling me how good it was and I must say that made me pretty happy since he is clearly the chef in our relationship.
Other than that, my night was spent watching Dr. Strangelove, the finale of "America's Got Talent" (even though no one in my family watches that show) and an episode of "The Singing Bee" (random I know) and just hanging out. All of which is a good combo for a Tuesday night if I do say so.
Okay well time to get to work, I was the second person here today so I think that entitles me to an early morning post, haha. Woo.
**side note, I feel like I may have gone overboard on commas today, don't really know why that is. But I apologize to Margo and Kiki, my grammar loving friends.

Lunch "Break."
So I found it entertaining that I returned to the office today with tons of stuff to do and several emails to read, however the one that stuck out most to me was sent by my friend Allison entitled "Why the lunch break is going extinct." Haha, that basically sums up my office life right there. For some reason (okay not some reason, I just like saving money/being healthy and bringing lunch from home) I knew that I would be writing about that email and everything else that's happened the past three days during my "lunch break", haha.
The article basically sums up the fact that less people are leaving on lunch breaks and utilizing that time to answer emails, catch up on invoices, etc, etc. I, however, like to use my lunch break to have some time to myself. Ever since I got in this morning I have been on the go non stop working on my various assignments (which is totally okay with me, I knew it would happen like that since I wasn't here yesterday), so I am using my "lunch break" to eat my leftovers from last night's fabulous (and pricey, haha, but so worth it) dinner and catch up my loyal readers on the perils of Katelin and the must know happenings in Celebrityland. So here goes....
Celebrity News/Pictures...
Violet Affleck is still the cutest kid in Hollywood right now, that's nothing new.
And Debra Messing's dress is pretty fabulous in my opinion. I think I am really just a fan of the radiating purple, it's so fetch (haha yes I said fetch, and yes I am using it sarcastically). But really, I think this color looks good on her, she could have done more with her hair and maybe not as ginormous of a purse, but the dress, I give it two thumbs up. Woo.
And apparently Superbad was really funny and basically rocked the box office. So that's another movie to add to my never ending list, haha.
And in TV news, The Hills. I made my boyfriend DVR it last night so I could watch it when we got back from dinner and man that show flies by when you fast forward commercials, haha. I swear, it felt like nothing happened. Except for my favorite part was Heidi painting over Spencer's ridiculous "art work." As much as I don't like either one of them, the fact that Heidi actually stood up for herself was great and the look on Spencer's face pretty much paralleled Heidi's when she first saw his wall decor, it was amazing. Other than that Audrina's "boy toy" came off as a rude stoner and would look much cuter if he cut his hair, Lauren was trying to like said boy toy but he was rude, and um I think that's about it. I may have missed some in there, but probably not. Oh but next week's looks even better...stay tuned.
Other than that I don't really feel like chatting up the Hollywood Buzz today (the horror!). But apparently the only big news is that Hayden Pantierre (however you spell her name) turns 18 today (big whoop), K-Fed is going to be on One Tree Hill, and having a family changed Matt Damon's life, haha.
And that's the Hollywood wrap up of the day.
In real life news, I went up to Salinas, CA this weekend to visit my extended family and it was great as always. Perfect weather, tons of food, lots of family, several birthdays and time spent with great people. And I loved having yesterday off. Granted it is making today much more chaotic, it was worth it.
Okay well this was a very ramblingish post, maybe later tonight I will touch it up or just write another one, haha. But for now, time to get back to the grind.
Happy Tuesday!

Fridays are meant for random posts.
So that's what I am doing this fine Friday, posting randomly. So first up there are two movie previews I would like to share, the first is a new one with Ryan Gosling (heart him) sporting a porn stache (just try and look past it) called Lars and the Real Girl. From what I can tell, Ryan's character has some 'issues' and ultimately starts dating a woman who, to his family's surprise, turns out to be a doll. Yeah, strange I know. It looks awkwardly funny, kind of like how Little Miss Sunshine was at parts, awkward but still really funny. So here is that preview:
And next up is a movie I just came across being reviewed on Best Week Ever called Walk Hard. It stars John C. Reilly and pretty much parodies Johnny Cash and Walk the Line, haha. Now I know it may sound pretty bad, haha....okay and it is. It's directed by Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin) and there are some pretty entetaining cameos it looks like, so check it out, enjoy, it's okay, you're allowed to:
And lastly, I just saw this article on CNN about Barack Obama and how his name is getting dropped in rap songs and myspace pages and everything. I think it's a pretty interesting article, so check it out. And finally, I just came across this picture of John Mayer on PopSugar and I was just compelled to share it and I don't know why, he's just looking good these days, good job John.
Anyhoo, I'm going out of town this weekend, so Happy Friday! Happy Weekend! See ya Tuesday!

Celebrity Fun Fact....
Chris Tucker has got to be either one of the smartest or laziest guys in Hollywood. After listening to Kevin and Bean on the radio a couple days ago and I was intrigued to Imdb Mr. Tucker. And after doing so I discovered that Chris Tucker has been in 10 movies, 10? 10! 10. That's it! just 10 movies. His first movie was House Party 3 (which I have never even heard of) in'94 and from there he went on to do more memorable movies such as Friday, Dead Presidents, The Fifth Element and Jackie Brown. However, in my opinion, his biggest winner (and status booster) was Rush Hour, which came out in '98. And a fun fact to go along with that, Chris got paid 3 million for Rush Hour, which is not too shabby. So after Rush Hour Chris didn't do anything until Rush Hour 2 came along in 2001, where he got a nice pay increase to 20 million dollars! Haha, ya that's not too bad at all. Now as most of you know Rush Hour 3 just came out last weekend, six years after the last one, why such a long delay you ask? Much speculation (and some reported fact) was that Chris Tucker was negotiating a pay check?! Chris Tucker wanted more money!! For what?! He did nothing after Rush Hour 2 and was asking for more money? Now I like Chris and all, I think he is pretty funny, but I think it's ridiculous he wanted more money when the only reason he is a "big name" is because of the last movie, gah. Well obviously the studios gave in and Chris got something like 25 million plus some revenue of the movie sales, pshaw. Well Chris it was nice seeing you in Rush Hour 3 I guess we'll have to wait another six years for you to pop up in a movie and make a name for yourself again, haha. Or you can just retire now, spend your millions and avoid getting arrested again.

Around L.A.....
Violet where were you yesterday?? I missed you. Haha, okay that sounds creepy, I am not a pedophile, I just think that the Garner-Affleck family is so overly adorable, I heart them. So here's Ben and Violet out celebrating his birthday, precious.
And in other news, David Beckham scored a goal last night! Woo! Finally, that ginormous paycheck being put to good use. David played a full 60 minutes and scored one of the two goals that gave the Galaxy a 2-0 win over DC United. Woo.
And now there is a video to go with it....Gosh I love YouTube:
Other than that, so far I've just seen some random photos of Brittney Spear's "Allure" photo shoot (big whoop), Paris Hilton being Paris Hilton, and so on.
However, in some somewhat disturbing news, Spendi have come together to form "music." It premiered this morning on Ryan Seacrest and oh man. I'll admit it is kind of catchy, but a total studio mix and I feel like she'll be horrible live. Oh and even better (worse) Spencer raps on the song!! Gah! ...update. apparently that single wasn't supposed to be released, har har har.
And that's it around L.A. right now....I know there will be more to come later, it's L.A. people, someone is always out shopping and needs to have their picture taken.
Update. Despite what I reported yesterday, apparently little Suri will not be doing Gap ads, sad, I was looking forward to it.

In Today's Random Headlines....
- Super Suri Cruise is going to be a Gap model! The first celeb baby to do so, eva! Granted I wish it was Violet, she's my number one favorite Hollywood baby.
- Mandy and John! I don't know how I feel about this. Granted I love them both and I definitely love Mandy more than I like Jessica.
- The Iphone Shuffle, haha.
- According to several sites, the ring Spencer got Heidi (Hills talk again) is made of fake diamonds and either cost $770 or $2,800 and not the whopping amount he was bragging about. For someone that has "so much money" he had to borrow Brody's credit card to even buy that awful thing, what a poser. Heck and now I just read that they're not really engaged! Stupid Spendi (haha yes Spencer + Heidi has now become Spendi, and I have coined it, woot), just go away already and please tell me that rumors of getting your own show are only rumors.
- And in more Hills news..... Lauren misses Heidi? Lauren hates working five days a week? I'm intrigued.
- The Dodgers are sucking the life out of their fans by continuing their downward spiral of losing. Gah.
- Now I'm all for making fun of LiLo because she is basically asking for it, but I think this guy and his poster may have gone a little too far. But you can decide that one.
- Drew is having some problems on the set of TPIR already. Let's hope this isn't a sign for the rest of his career.

Short Titles Aren't My Style....
I am idiot. Okay well maybe not idiot, but not entirely smart. I realized yesterday when someone asked me what the URL for my blog was and I had to just im it to him because my title is so ridiculously long! I am horrible when it comes to picking a catchy title. Even my Myspace URL is long and hard to remember, gah! I don't even know what possessed me to pick a line from a song about sand when I don't even live near sand, haha! Well I do, because I love that line, I think it's pretty, but it's not catchy. So be on the look out, I may be compelled to move my blog to a shorter titled URL, haha. We'll see though. I'm still getting the hang of the whole blogging thing. But I am loving it that's for sure. Woo. Happy Wednesday!

Tea Partay.
So last year Smirnoff released the "Tea Partay" video, which is a bunch of preppy East coasters "rapping" and what not. And now they have released a West Coast version of Beverly Hills type boys, oh man. They are both equally ridiculous, but equally entertaining. So here they are.

His Body is a Wonderland.
Okay so apparently John Mayer finally took my advice to get a haircut (which was done a while ago, thank god) and get some sun (he looked uber pale copared to Jessica Simpson back when they were dating/not dating/dating again). He's basically gone from boyish cute (in his "No Room For Squares" debut era) to "I'm a cool rocker" cute to "Check me out and my scraggly uncut hair and pouty face" uncute to "I'm not the same as I was two records ago" semi cute to "pale and need of a life/stylist" uncute to finally where he's at today "I can do a Gap Ad, stand up comedy, parody 'Chocolate Rain' and flaunt my stuff" uber model hot. How did that happen? I have no idea. But I am not complaining.

It's going to be a good season.
Last night was the season three premiere of The Hills and man was it good. Granted the previews for the whole season look even better. Let's recap what happened shall we....
Like I've said before, I can't really explain why I love The Hills so much, I just do. At least I know I'm not the only twenty something girl that watches this show, there are many of us out there that I will be conversing with Tuesday mornings to discuss the night's episode. And even though I can already tell that I am going to spend many of my Monday nights yelling at the TV (more directly at Spencer and Heidi) or laughing out loud at those crazy kids, and I will enjoy every moment of it.
- Whitney has the new job at TeenVogue (surprise, surprise), and is basically Lauren's boss.
- Lauren hasn't talked to Heidi since she moved out.
- Lauren and Heidi have a "blow out" at Les Deux (and as much as I love Lauren, her line of arguing "you know what you did!" was pretty lame, but still entertaining).
- Spencer decided to "decorate" the apartment walls, and by decorate he had his buddies do graffiti art all over the place (ghetto!). I laughed out loud at that one, the look on Heidi's face was pretty priceless.
- Spencer took Heidi to Santa Barbara where he proposed to her (gag!). And it wasn't even that romantic! He said "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, so I bought you this" and gives her a gaudy ring and then says "I don't even know which hand this goes on." Could he be more of a tool!?
- Audrina has a potential 'new' boyfriend (a boy from her past who has supposedly changed his ways), so we'll see where that one goes.
Like I've said before, I can't really explain why I love The Hills so much, I just do. At least I know I'm not the only twenty something girl that watches this show, there are many of us out there that I will be conversing with Tuesday mornings to discuss the night's episode. Always look at your food before you eat it.
For some reason my mom never taught me that...or she did and I just pay attention that day. As noted as Kiki's #51 to my list, I just ate pita with mold on it. I give myself the idiot of the day award (granted this guy is a close second). For some reason I just ate my pita (with tuna and tomato basil humus, which is delicious by the way) without even looking at it. However, when I went to grab a second pita to eat I noticed a lovely little spot on it, green to be exact, and then I saw a white one. And then I saw the other pita still in the bag had moldy spots too! Gah! And then I realized that the one I just ate had to have mold on it too! Gag! I kind of feel sick just thinking about it. Well let's just hope I don't get sick, fingers crossed.

My "100 list."
So after reading numerous blogs and most recently this one, I have been compelled to compile my "100 list." Basically I just list 100 things about me or my life or whatever the heck I want, just for kicks. It serves no real purpose, but I think it's kind of fun, so here goes, enjoy:
1. I have lived in Pasadena my whole life (so have my parents).
2. But sometimes I fantasize about moving away (but know I won't).
3. When we were younger my sister and I fought all the time, now that we're older it doesn't happen as much (and it makes me very happy).
4. I'm 23 (and really want to be 25).
5. I can't do a cartwheel (despite many years of trying).
6. I'm tall (but have no hops, haha).
7. My best friend became my boyfriend (and it was one of the best things to ever happen to me).
8. I love(d) New Kids on the Block (Jordan 4 eva).
9. I also love Craig David (he was NKOTB, round 2).
10. All of my friends are scattered across the country and I miss them (thank god for email).
11. Spiders are the bane of my existence (I'm not kidding).
12. Actually the mail meter at my job is the bane of my existence (it sucks).
13. I like pretending songs are written especially for me (even though I know they aren't).
14. I loved high school (especially freshmen year, crazy I know).
15. But I loved college more (all of it).
16. And I went to college in Ohio (which was awesome, despite what many may think).
17. I was a DJ in college (and it was amazing).
18. I also did Gospel Choir (even though I never ever sing, especially in public, thank goodness for people with better, louder voices than mine, but I loved all of it).
19. I can never turn down free pizza (it's just so good).
20. Sometimes I have "blond moments" (okay, most times).
21. I love movies (I think they are the greatest thing ever).
22. One day I'll get paid to watch them and talk about them and even attend the Oscars ( it'll happen, I swear).
23. I'm addicted to Myspace and Facebook (I can't help it).
24. I know more about celebrities than I know about some of my friends (okay that may be an exaggeration, but I do know a lot).
25. As much as they drive me crazy, I still love my little brothers (and I'm not excited for the day when they're both taller than me and can beat me up, haha).
26. I love my curly hair (but sometimes wish it was straight).
27. I don't like politics (but CNN keeps me in the know when I need to).
28. I don't think I'll ever feel 'grown up' (I'll just act the part).
29. Reading other people's blogs is a new addiction (okay, it's part of my job and an every day habit).
30. Putting songs on repeat makes me happy (and the people around me get annoyed, haha).
31. Whenever I go into bathrooms at someone's house, I always check the shower to make sure no one is in there (random, I know).
32. My cousin and I hid in a shower one (and scared the crap out of my dad).
33. I can't sleep with a closet door open (I'm a wuss, I know).
34. I make wishes on the time (11:11, 2:22, 3:33)
35. I wish on stars and in tunnels too (yes I wish a lot, I'm optimistic).
36. I started watching a lot of my favorite TV shows because of my parents (sometimes they're cooler than I give them credit for).
37. I love reading and poetry (and long walks on the beach).
38. I never liked cooking until I started doing it with my boyfriend (he makes it fun).
39. I thrive off of movie quotes, inside jokes, and nicknames (they all make me laugh).
40. My younger sister and brother are both much smarter at Math than I am (I've come to accept this).
41. The three days I spent in Berlin are in my top five of most amazing experiences ever (and I will never forget it).
42. I'm obsessed with putting my pictures in photo albums (in hopes that my children will look at them one day and think I was uber cool).
43. Sometimes I am too forgiving or too nice (but I can't help it).
44. I rarely wear make up (unless chapstick counts, because that's on every day).
45. My camera is always with me, I love it (you never know when you're going to need it).
46. I wore flip flops in the snow once (probably not the smartest idea I've had).
47. I even ran barefoot once (definitely not the smartest idea I've had).
48. I never had a fake ID (it wouldn't have worked anyways, I will always look like I'm 16).
49. I have seen the movie Speed more times than I can count (and I didn't even want to see it the first time).
50. My mom is white, My dad is black, and I love it (love it.)
Okay so I got halfway, haha. My "100 list" is now my "50 list", pish posh. I'll just have to do the Part II soon. For now, I think 50 is good, heck I don't even know who's going to read all 50 anyways, but if you did, woo and hope you were amused, I was.

If I moved out tomorrow...
I would want to live here. I don't really know what it is, but I think the "art deco" look is pretty schnazzy. And the price isn't too bad (if I split it, haha), and utilities are paid for (always a plus). The only bad part (for me because at least, because I am a horrible parker) is that it is street parking only, darn.
However, I am definitely a fan of the brick walls in the one room (granted I'm not quite sure what room that is). This could be a picture of the studio in the building or a living room? Not sure, but I think it's pretty awesome. I can already imagine putting a sweet painting right in between the windows and the couch I'm stealing from my house, that's tan and will blend in and need colorful pillows to make it stand out, haha.
I also think this mini kitchen is pretty cool too. Granted it's uber small, I think it's dainty and fun. For some reason it reminds me of New York, I don't really know why, it just does. And with this room I can already imagine putting up a bright green clock and a smoke detector and pictures on the refrigerator. And either plants or unused pots and pans on top of the cabinets, haha. Yes I have big dreams to move out and own weird stuff and it will happen soon enough...until then I will continue to fantasize as I peruse Craigslist, woot.

The Hills have drama.
Okay so I have already admitted my guilty pleasure on MTV, also know as The Hills, so no harm in talking about it again. I love it, I can't help it. I've been a fan of that crap since Laguna Beach first came on. My friends and I even had Laguna Beach watching parties, Monday nights, my place, margaritas (on occasion), it was amazing. I can't explain why we like it or why we watch it, we just do. So with that being said, The Hills season three is almost upon us (it starts Monday night) and I can barely hold my excitement, it's going to be horribly amazing! The drama leading up to this has been a lot of hype (but also pretty superb). Anyhoo, I just came across pics from the premiere party for The Hills and thought I'd share:
Lauren and Audrina ( I LOVE their dresses):
And LO! She's back! A Laguna alum and one of Lauren's friends apparently has a bigger presence this season, yessss, she's great (and I love her dress too!):
And there were more pics of Heidi and Spencer (gag) and Jason (yawn), but sadly none of Whitney, one of my faves as well.
Well that's all I got on these crazy kids, I just want to know who buys their clothes, because they're fabulous.

People.com you make my day.
So People.com has introduced this newish feature to their homepage where there is some celebrity in the bottom left corner of the page and then there are 5 fun facts about them. And once you click on it there is even a full out chronology of their path to stardom, it's kind of interesting actually. And you guessed it, today's celebrity is Keanu Reeves, love it. So here, are some of the Keanu facts of the day....
- Keanu is a Hawaiin name which means "cool breezes over the mountains."
- In 1994, a professor at the Art Center College in Pasadena, Calif., introduced a course called "Films of Keanu Reeves." Each week the students studied the "cultural nuances" of his then 16-film body of work. (I need to take this class, haha)
- For nearly his first decade in show business, Keanu Reeves did not rent or own a home. Between films, he would either take a room at L.A.'s famous Chateau Marmont hotel or crash at his sister Kim's home.
- To show his gratitude for their work on the two Matrix sequels, Keanu Reeves bought each of his 12 stuntmen a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Oh Starry Night.
I love this painting. I really have no real reason to post it, except that I love and you all should love it too, it's beautiful:
I think I really just like van Gogh's work, because in high school I took Drawing and Painting three semesters in a row and I definitely tried to emulate his style a couple of times. One of my paintings was completely inspired by van Gogh's "Room at Arles":
I love this one too, and I'm not sure why, I just do.
So if anyone feels inclined to buy me a painting, or just some paint and canvas so I can start painting my own stuff again, that'd be awesome. Christmas is just right around the corner *wink wink*.
And that's the culturalness of the day.

The Baby Ultimatum.
So I basically just ripped my title from this article on Best Week Ever which made me laugh out loud. And I agree 110%, people should not bring babies to the movies (unless it's that 10am Mommy and Me movie business), get a fricking babysitter! And I feel for this woman because I saw the Bourne Ultimatum Saturday afternoon and I saw a woman walk in with a large sling that I knew was a baby holder (it was funny because it looked deceptive, like it could have been a large purse, but then her hubby walked in with her carrying a large "purse" also known as the baby bag it kind of gave it away.) Luckily when they came in the theater was pretty full and there were no spots near me for them to sit, so they moved to the very front and even more fortunate was that somehow their baby didn't make any noise the whole movie, how? I have no idea. This movie is rarely quiet. Speaking of the movie, I realize I haven't written a review or anything, but in a nutshell, I loved it. My boyfriend refers to it as "The Bourne Redundancy" but I don't care, I think it's awesome, haha. But I've actually seen several movies so far this summer and I may just wait til the Summer rush dies down to capture them all in one large blog (awesome, I know, haha). Anyhoo the gym is beckoning.

Emmy Rossum is awesome.
So I haven't heard much from Emmy Rossum since she did Poseidon a year or so ago, granted I really just love her from the film adaptation of Phantom of the Opera. She has an amazing voice and she's a pretty good actress as well. Well somehow perusing through various sites I came across her myspace page and turns out she is releasing her own CD soon, and the snip its sound pretty good (kind of like Frou Frou and Imogen Heap sounding). I really like her song "Slow Me Down" and I searched it on YouTube and turns out an uber Phantom fan has put together clips of the movie to follow the song and I think it actually turned out pretty well, so here it is, enjoy!:

Gag.
I felt the need to take a page from Perez on this one and just say that Spencer and Heidi are uber annoying.
For the first time in a long time I tuned into the radio on my way to work and caught part of their interview on KIIS fm with Ryan Seacrest, oh man. I almost threw up in the car. And the people calling in were just as dumb, it's ridiculous. Granted, I feel like all of this is fake and hyped up for the ratings of the show (the show being The Hills, for anyone that doesn't have this as a guilty pleasure, or cable, haha) which starts its third season next Monday. I don't really even describe their time on the air because it was so stupid. They basically said that Lauren is a brat (the PG word version) and that she goes to the media for attention (but aren't they doing the same thing by going on every radio show???). It was dumb and I definitely didn't listen to the whole thing, thank goodness for CDs and better radio stations.
I must say, ever since the days of Laguna Beach I have been a Team LC girl all the way, and that still hasn't changed. I know so much is edited for TV and these people are pretty ridiculous anyways, I just felt the need to say that Spencer and Heidi make me gag and hopefully I can watch this season without hurling, hopefully just laughing...at how absurd these kids are.
Ah my guilty pleasure, The Hills, so good, yet so very bad. Oh well, that's my two cents on the matter, take it or send it over to Heidi, haha.
